Abstract

The study aims to describe the level of students' ability to distinguish between standard and non-standard vocabulary in the Indonesian language. The population in this study was a student of V grade SD State 59 Noling who totalled 35 people. Data collection is done through test techniques, while data analysis is done using percentage techniques. This is evident from the data analysis that showed that 77.1% of the students of the sample obtained a score of 6.5 above, whereas the students obtaining a score below 6.5 was 22.65%. On this basis, it is expected that the learning process in the classroom, the teacher intensively gives tasks or training to the students in particular in terms of the difference between standard and non-standard vocabulary so that in the end students can establish the distinction between the two.

Abstract

This research aims to see how much influence results from learning using the Blended learning flex model system on student learning outcomes and their role in the learning process, especially on the material of writing procedural texts. In this study, a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design was used. One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design is a type of Pre-Experimental Design research. Data collection techniques use exams/tests and documentation. The population and sample size of this research are all class IV students at UPT SPF SDN Mamajang I, Makassar city, totaling 25 students. The results of this research are the pretest posttest which has been tested on students, and the results of hypothesis testing from this research are tcount = 11.0227 with ttable= 2.064, then Ho is rejected and H¹ is accepted. Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of Javanese language maintenance in the multilingual community of Cot Girek District. This research is qualitative descriptive in nature. The methods used are observation and interviews. The data for this study come from the attitudes of Javanese speakers that influence Javanese language maintenance. The findings of this research indicate that Javanese speakers should use Javanese among fellow Javanese, at home, and when playing with friends, read books about the Javanese language, learn new Javanese vocabulary, frequently use it in family conversations, participate in Javanese language contests or competitions, strengthen Javanese language teaching in schools, attend Javanese language training or courses, teach Javanese to children, use social media or technology to teach Javanese, use social media accounts and follow accounts that use Javanese, raise awareness and maintenance of the Javanese language by listening to and watching Javanese songs and dramas, communicate with native Javanese speakers, engage in cultural events and traditional performances, collaborate with Javanese culture enthusiasts, develop literature, and promote legal protection for the Javanese language as an important cultural asset.

Abstract

The problem in this research is whether the application of the Synthetic Structural Analytical (SAS) method can improve the initial reading ability of class I students at SD Negeri 11 Kodeoha, North Kolaka Regency. Meanwhile, the aim of the research carried out was to determine whether the application of the Synthetic Structural Analytical (SAS) method could improve the reading ability of beginners in class I of SD Negeri 11 Kodeoha, North Kolaka Regency. This type of research is pre-experimental research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 22 class I students at SD Negeri 11 Kodeoha, North Kolaka Regency. The results of the research showed that there was an influence of the application of the Synthetic Analytical Structural (SAS) method on the initial reading ability of class I students at SD Negeri 11 Kodeoha, North Kolaka Regency. This can be seen from the comparison between the pre-test and post-test scores. The average pretest value obtained was 55.47. The average value was in the interval 55-64 which was included in the low category. Meanwhile, the average posttest score obtained was 81.94, which was in the 75-84 interval, which means it was in the high category. The research results obtained were tcount = 15.26 and ttable = 3.819. Then tCount ≥ tTable or 15.26 ≥ 3.819. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that the application of the synthetic analytical structural method (SAS) can have an influence in improving the initial reading ability of class I students at SD Negeri 11 Kodeoha, Bulukumba Regency.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out the effectiveness of the use of Flashcards to increase the students’ vocabulary of descriptive text of the eighth grade in SMPN 5 Blitar The design of this research was a quasi-experimental research with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research was the students of SMPN 5 Blitar. The sampling technique in this research is simple random sampling. The sample was 30 students of Class VIII D as the experimental group who was given a new method using flashcards applicationand 25 students of Class VIII E as the control group who was taught using conventional strategies. The research instruments were pre-test and post- test which analyzed by using an independent sample t-test. Furthermore, the result showed that the mean score of the D class that used the Flashcards Application was 80,80, whereas the mean score of the E class that did not use Flashcards was 72.00. the conclusion is the Flashcards application is effective to improve the students’ vocabulary mastery of descriptive text which can be seen in the result of the independent sample t-test, the t test is 4.649 > t table 2.002, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The 21st century is an era of technological advancement in this century technology plays an important role in human life from various aspects including in the world of education. Teachers are required to integrate technology in learning activities. TPACK, which stands for Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge, is a new understanding that has become a framework that can be used to analyze educators' knowledge about the use of technology in learning. The problems in this study are (1) how to implement TPACK in learning at MI Muhammadiyah Sentono Klaten (2) teacher obstacles in implementing TPACK. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of grade IV students of MI Muhammadiyah Sentono Klaten before and after implementing the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) approach, and to determine how much influence it has on the learning outcomes of grade IV students of MI Muhammadiyah Sentono Klaten. This study is a quantitative study with descriptive and comparative methods. The descriptive method is a research method to create a picture of a situation or event, while comparative is a study that uses the technique of comparing one object with another object with interview, observation and documentation techniques.

Abstract

A guidance and counseling teacher or supervisor is responsible for his students at the school, especially regarding students' lack of discipline towards school regulations, the guidance and counseling teacher must provide services to students who often make mistakes against themselves, therefore the aim of the guidance and counseling teacher there is to provide information services in improving Self Management of students there, not just for students who discipline, guidance and counseling teachers provide information services to all students at school to form behavior that is in accordance with what has been arranged to achieve something good and expected at Budi Agung Middle School Medan. The type of research that researchers use is qualitative research or field research. In this research, researchers conducted interviews with guidance and counseling teachers as key informants. And 8 students who experienced disciplinary problems as data triangulation, as well as the head of student affairs, and the student's homeroom teacher. The results of the research found that the basic consideration for guidance and counseling teachers in providing information services is to develop students' disciplinary behavior because there are still students who have less disciplined behavior such as often coming late, skipping classes, not doing assignments, often going out during class hours and not dressing neatly. The time used by guidance and counseling teachers is during special guidance and counseling lessons every week and can be used during free hours or when other subject teachers are not available. And the duration of time used by the guidance and counseling teachers themselves is approximately 30 minutes to carry out information services. The places where it is implemented are in the classroom, outside the classroom, in the hall and in applications such as Google Met and Zoom. Information service materials to develop student discipline behavior include self-discipline, clean and healthy lifestyle, and leadership spirit. At the time of implementation, students who had received information services were very active in paying attention to what was conveyed and enthusiastic in giving their opinions and understanding what was conveyed by the guidance and counseling teacher regarding the services delivered after being given the information service. If there were still students who had not changed, then the guidance and counseling teacher would individual counseling services to the student. After providing individual services, if the student has not changed, the guidance and counseling teacher will hand the student over to the head of student affairs for further follow-up.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the improvement in learning outcomes in spatial volume material using the TARL approach for class IV students at SDN 01 Kanigoro. This research was carried out using a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles which aimed to determine the increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes through the TARL learning approach. The research subjects were 12 class IV students at SDN 01 Kanigoro. The research results show an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects using the TARL approach at SDN 01 Kanigoro. Based on the results of pre-cycle action activities, there were 3 students who completed and 9 students who did not complete. In the first cycle, there were 7 students who completed and 5 students who did not complete. while in the second cycle there were 11 students who completed it and 1 student who did not complete it. In conclusion, by using the TARL approach, student learning outcomes in class can improve.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to analyze the text structure of the Report of Observation Results (LHO) in class X TITL 1 SMK Negeri 5 Surabaya through the application of collaborative learning methods. This research was conducted in two cycles. In cycle 1, most groups scored below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). However, after improvements were made in cycle 2 by adding differentiation of the learning process according to students' learning modalities, there was a significant increase in scores. The results showed an increase in students' scores by 20% to 50%, with all groups successfully exceeding the KKM. Group 6 experienced the highest increase, from 50 to 100. This finding shows that the collaborative learning method is effective in improving the ability to analyze the structure of LHO text. The application of this method achieved maximum results, so it can be recommended as a learning strategy for similar materials in the future.
