Abstract

Motivation is a crucial factor influencing the success of the Tahfidz exam. A student will achieve the desired outcomes in learning if they possess an intrinsic desire to study. Motivation acts as a driving force towards achieving good results, prompting individuals to engage in activities due to an internal drive. However, the reality at SMP IT Al-Khoiriyyah Garut shows that student motivation for learning Tahfidz is significantly lacking. This is evidenced by the finding that 40% of students fail the Tahfidz exam and must undergo intensive memorization quarantine. The Tahfidz exam, faced by ninth-grade students, carries a significant burden. This burden is not only personal but also social, as the exam is witnessed by school authorities and parents alike. Therefore, students must thoroughly master the Qur'anic verses they have memorized to perform smoothly during the exam. The objective of this study is to describe the influence of motivation for memorizing the Qur'an on the Tahfidz exam performance of ninth-grade students at SMP IT Al-Khoiriyyah, Karangpawitan, Garut. This research employs a quantitative correlational approach with simple regression analysis. Data collection methods include observation, document study, and questionnaires distributed to 50 students who served as samples for this study. Data processing was carried out through statistical data analysis. The results indicate that the average score for motivation in memorizing the Qur'an is 3.98, falling within the interval of 3.01-4.00, categorized as "good." Similarly, the average score for the Tahfidz exam is 3.96, also within the interval of 3.01-4.00, categorized as "good." Based on statistical analysis, it is found that motivation for memorizing the Qur'an influences the Tahfidz exam performance by 86.24%. Abstract

The Qur'an was revealed by Allah SWT as proof of the truth of Prophet Muhammad SAW, with its primary function being guidance for humankind. The Qur'an narrates many aspects of education and its urgency for human life. The ability of muraja'ah in the Qur'an is one of the methods to consistently remember our memorization or preserve and maintain the fluency of Qur'anic memorization, ensuring that the Qur'anic memorization achieved through hard work does not fade away. The Talaqqi method is a teaching method of the Qur'an by directly imitating the recitation of the teacher and then mimicking the demonstration of the teacher. This research aims to answer several research questions: 1) to describe the concept of the Talaqqi method in Qur'anic memorization, 2) to describe the ability of muraja'ah in the Qur'an, and 3) to describe the ability of muraja'ah in Qur'anic memorization from the perspective of the Talaqqi method. This study employs library research as its type, utilizing qualitative research methods. Data sources consist of primary sources such as Talaqqi books, and secondary sources including books, journals, and other relevant readings supporting this research. The results of this study indicate that the ability of muraja'ah in Qur'anic memorization from the perspective of the Talaqqi method emphasizes repetitive learning methods aimed at consistently remembering or preserving and maintaining the fluency of Qur'anic memorization effectively. Therefore, Qur'anic learning using the Talaqqi method ensures that memorized Qur'anic verses do not easily fade from memory, emphasizing the importance of regular revision to maintain memorization. Abstract

This research stems from societal and cultural phenomena, namely youth violence, trends towards casual sex, and the abuse of narcotics and other addictive substances. Addressing these moral issues among adolescents, the government has introduced the "merdeka belajar" curriculum, allowing for customized learning to meet students' desires and needs. The objective of this qualitative descriptive study is to examine the implementation of the "merdeka belajar" curriculum in Islamic Education to enhance students' religious attitudes at SMPIT Al-Masduki Tarogong Kidul. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that: 1) SMP IT Al-Masduki offers various programs to enhance students' religious intelligence, including tahfidz al-Qur'an specialization, leadership skills training, international communication skills training, and character formation and values education programs. 2) The "merdeka belajar" curriculum at SMP IT Al-Masduki supports a talent and interest-based approach in learning, fostering flexibility and focusing on essential content and character development. 3) The use of the "merdeka belajar" curriculum in enhancing students' religious attitudes in Islamic Education at SMP IT Al-Masduki integrates national and international curricula. The implemented aspects of students' religious attitudes at SMP IT Al-Masduki encompass beliefs, worship practices, spiritual understanding, knowledge acquisition, and practical application.  Keywords: Implementation of Merdeka Belajar, Religious Attitudes

Abstract

Affective issues are considered crucial by everyone, yet their implementation remains inadequate. This is due to the complexity of designing affective learning objectives compared to cognitive ones. An evaluation tool is deemed effective if it can assess something with outcomes that reflect the evaluated state. One of the reasons for the lack of attention to affective assessment implementation is the absence of clear affective evaluation tools. The objective of this research is to describe the influence of using attitude assessment tools in the Akidah Akhlak subject on students' affective learning outcomes in Class XI IPS 2 at MA Al-Ashdariyah Pakenjeng Garut. Thus, it aims to determine the extent of influence between attitude assessment tools in the Akidah Akhlak subject (Variable X) and students' affective learning outcomes (Variable Y). This study adopts a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods include observation, documentary study, and distribution of questionnaires to 25 sampled students. Data analysis is conducted through statistical data analysis. The research findings indicate that the use of attitude assessment tools yielded an average score of 1.68, falling within the range of 1.01-5.00, classified as "Very Good." This suggests an improvement in students' attitudes following the use of these assessment tools in the Akidah Akhlak subject. Meanwhile, students' affective learning outcomes averaged 1.6, falling within the range of 1.01-5.00, also classified as "Very Good." This demonstrates that using attitude assessment tools is an effective solution to enhance students' affective learning outcomes. Based on statistical analysis, there is a significant influence (72.3785%) of attitude assessment tool usage on affective learning outcomes, while 27.6215% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.  Keywords: Evaluation Tool, Affective Domain, Akidah Akhlak Subject

Abstract

Abstract According to Hamka, education is a means to shape the character of the human person who has been born into the world so that he becomes a useful person in his society, so that he knows what is good and what is bad. Apart from that, education must also be based on the belief that above human power there is another supreme power, namely God. Therefore, education must return to educational and religious values. Brain intelligence does not guarantee safety if religious spiritual values ​​are not made the basis. Referring to the problems that occur in the world of education, there are not a few graduates and students who do not master the sciences as they should. This study aims to find educational values ​​according to Al-Qur'an Surah Al-'Alaq 1-5 and to find edicative values ​​of Al-Qur'an Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5 According to the study of Islamic Education This study uses a library research approach, collecting data by conducting a review study of books, literature, notes, and reports that are related to the research problem. Then proceed with the analysis techniques. This research concludes that: First, the educational values ​​contained in Al-Qur'an Surah Al-'Alaq 1-5 are 1) the value of liking to read, 2) the value of monotheism, 3) the value of science, 4) the value of liking writing or orders to produce scientific work, 5) moral values, 6) worship values ​​and piety values. Second, the educational values ​​in Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5 are reading and writing. 2) The value of monotheism, 3) the method of refraction from education, 4) educational media and technology. Qalam in this verse is not limited to the meaning of writing instruments but various equipment related to media and educational technology such as computers, internet, video compact discs, LCDs, projectors, laptops, TVs, newspapers, and so on.

Abstract

The profile of Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin students embodies strong national commitment, tolerance towards others, principles rejecting physical and verbal violence, and respect for tradition. PPRA (Preventive Action, Response, and Analysis) emphasizes exemplary values aimed at mitigating the decline in student morals. Surat Al-Mumtahanah verse 4 exemplifies Prophet Ibrahim's commitment to faith despite challenges. This study aims to describe the exemplary character of PPRA in the context of the "merdeka belajar" program from the perspective of Surat Al-Mumtahanah verse 4. This research employs a library research method, examining interpretations of Surat Al-Mumtahanah verse 4 by commentators and written sources on exemplary character by scholars. Using qualitative methods, the study focuses on content analysis of Surat Al-Mumtahanah and textual analysis of relevant literature. The findings highlight that Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin student profiles reflect universal values and high tolerance. PPRA exemplifies characteristics such as politeness, diligence in learning, heeding advice, and forgiving others' mistakes. In the context of Surat Al-Mumtahanah verse 4, PPRA's exemplary character includes politeness towards others, kindness towards parents, trust in God, earnest prayer, resilience in adversity, receptiveness to advice, restraint from worldly desires, refraining from retaliation, forgiving others, and maintaining positive thoughts about Allah.  Keywords: Exemplary Character, Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin Student Profile, "Merdeka Belajar" Program.

Abstract

This research is motivated by observations indicating an increase in the social piety of students within a particular school. This enhancement is attributed to the role of teachers, which cannot be separated from their competencies, particularly their personality competence. To educate and shape students with noble character (akhlakul karimah) and to achieve this increase in piety, teachers must possess strong personality competence. The objectives of this study are: 1) To describe the Social Piety of Students at SMP Plus Miftahul Hidayah, 2) To describe the Personality Competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Teachers at SMP Plus Miftahul Hidayah, and 3) To describe the Implications of PAI Teachers' Personality Competence on the Enhancement of Students' Social Piety at SMP Plus Miftahul Hidayah. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, complemented by a literature review approach. The data sources include primary data obtained from interviews with PAI teachers at SMP Plus Miftahul Hidayah, and secondary data from books or other reading materials directly related to this study. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the personality competence of teachers significantly impacts the increase in students' social piety. Abstract

Surah Al-Israa’ verses 23-24 serve as a crucial source of educational ideas and concepts for Muslim families. These verses provide foundational guidance on educating children to avoid associating partners with Allah and to show devotion to their parents, aligning with the values prescribed in Islamic law. This study aims to: (1) Understand the definition and significance of Islamic education, (2) Identify the educational values in Surah Al-Israa' verses 23-24 regarding children's conduct towards their parents, and (3) Explore how these values influence the development of students' religious character from the perspective of Islamic education. This research employs a library research methodology, using a content analysis approach. Data sources include primary and secondary materials, gathered through documentation methods involving reading, reviewing, and analyzing Quranic exegesis, Hadith collections, and relevant books. The content analysis method is applied to interpret the meanings embedded in the Quranic text. Subsequent to this interpretation, an in-depth analysis is conducted to address the research questions. The findings reveal that the educational values embedded in Surah Al-Israa' verses 23-24 concerning filial piety include showing kindness to parents, speaking to them with respect, and praying for them. The implications for the development of students' religious character, particularly in the context of 'birrul walidain' (benevolence towards parents), indicate an enhancement in students' behavior towards their parents. This includes increased acts of kindness, patience in caring for parents, avoiding actions that harm parents, demonstrating respect and humility towards them, and praying for their well-being both during their lives and after their death. Abstract

In the pursuit of cultivating quality human beings, education plays an indispensable role. As beings endowed with immense potential by Allah SWT, it is our duty to continually evolve with the times while adhering to Islamic values. This principle applies to the continuous development and innovation in education and learning processes. An example of such educational advancement, which is either about to be implemented or already practiced in some schools and higher education institutions in Indonesia, is the "Merdeka Belajar" (Freedom to Learn) initiative. Teachers play a crucial role as the key to the success and achievement of students in the learning process, and their effectiveness must be continually enhanced. One of the solutions provided by "Merdeka Belajar" to address educational challenges is through the concept of the Learning Community.   The purpose of this research is to understand the concept of Learning Community within the framework of "Merdeka Belajar" as outlined in the Quran, specifically in Surah Al-Kahfi, verses 10-15, and to explore this concept from the perspective of Islamic Education Studies. The research methodology employed is qualitative library research, which involves a thorough review of related data from both primary and secondary sources to compile and analyze relevant information.   The findings reveal that the concept of Learning Community in "Merdeka Belajar," as depicted in Surah Al-Kahfi verses 10-15, underscores the necessity for humans to engage in continuous learning, drawing from the experiences and knowledge of others. This concept is grounded in the story of the Ashabul Kahfi, illustrating that every individual has equal rights and opportunities to gain education and experience. Abstract

Merdeka Belajar is a policy program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, aimed at providing flexibility in the administration of learning in schools. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) encompasses a series of lessons delivered both formally in schools and informally or non-formally at home or within the community. This study aims to describe the implementation of Merdeka Belajar in the context of PAI learning at the secondary education level, specifically in the 10th grade at SMK Bhakti Wijaya Kusuma Selaawi Garut. The research utilizes a field-based qualitative approach designed to comprehensively and thoroughly describe, illustrate, and explain the implementation of Merdeka Belajar in PAI learning at SMK Bhakti Wijaya Kusuma. The findings indicate that the application of Merdeka Belajar in PAI education at this school has shown significant improvement. This is evidenced by the fulfillment of several indicators reflecting an increase in students' learning capabilities. Merdeka Belajar also addresses practical issues faced by teachers, such as reducing the burden of their profession through flexible and independent assessment of student learning using various types and forms of evaluation instruments and relieving them from cumbersome administrative tasks.
