Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat merupakan jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang menjadi wadah ilmiah untuk pengabdian, dengan nomor terdaftar E-ISSN. KOMUNITA adalah jurnal multidisiplin ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh PELITA NUSA TENGGARA. Penerbitan jurnal ini akan dilakukan dalam satu tahun, mulai tahun 2022 terbit sebanyak dua kali terbit yaitu pada bulan Februari dan Agustus. KOMUNITA: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan kepada Masyarakat memfokuskan pada masalah umum atau masalah yang terkait dengan layanan masyarakat. Tujuan dari publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual atau ide dan hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian masyarakat. KOMUNITA: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan kepada Masyarakat, berisi berbagai kegiatan dalam menangani dan mengelola berbagai potensi, hambatan, tantangan, dan masalah yang ada di masyarakat. Implementasi kegiatan layanan juga melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mitra. Kegiatan pelayanan diorganisasikan menjadi kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Food security is also a national strategic issue that has become a key focus in sustainable development, particularly in the agricultural and rural sectors. This program aims to enhance the capacity and quality of farmer groups in Tanjung Morawa A Village, Tanjung Morawa Sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency, in supporting village food security initiatives aligned with national priorities. The approach is carried out through training based on dialogue, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice. Farmer groups were equipped with practical knowledge and strategies to overcome challenges in seed cultivation and the management of both agricultural and livestock sectors. One of the approaches introduced was the Kaizen method from Japan, which emphasizes continuous improvement based on participation and root-cause problem solving. This activity demonstrated that appropriate innovation and empowerment can effectively promote the active involvement of rural communities in realizing sustainable food security. As a result, participants showed increased understanding and motivation to commit to food security programs. This initiative marks the beginning of strengthening a community-based village food system that is adaptive, innovative, and self-reliant.

Abstract

This article presents the results of a community-based capacity building project for women sewing communities in Tulungagung through the development of independent production houses in partnership with an environmentally friendly bag industry. The project responded to persistent constraints in managerial capacity, production facilities, and group institutional structures that limited women’s ability to move from casual piece-rate workers to community-based entrepreneurs. A project-based research approach was implemented through stages of situation analysis, motivational and managerial training, technical production training, formation of production units, and evaluation using pre–post tests, observation, and process documentation. The findings show that all participants successfully formed independent production houses with simple work structures and SOPs, supported by raw material facilities and production equipment from Tulipbag as the main partner. At least one independent production cycle was completed by each group, from planning and role division to administrative recording and reporting to the partner. Significant improvements were observed in motivation, understanding of women’s economic roles, and managerial skills, with Longwe’s framework indicating strong achievements in access to training, managerial control, and collective performance in production tasks. The model offers practical implications for women’s economic empowerment, industry–community partnerships, and the replication of community-based production houses in other creative industry settings.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) program aims to optimize the instillation of entrepreneurial values ​​from an early age at Al Mustawa Elementary School (MI) in Gunung Sindur, Bogor Regency, as a lever for innovation at the school. This program was implemented to address the limited understanding of entrepreneurship, which was previously defined solely as "selling" activities. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, involving students in grades 4, 5, and 6, teachers, and parent representatives (the School Committee). Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the PKM program indicate a shift in the entrepreneurial paradigm from mere transactions to the ability to identify opportunities and generate innovative solutions (innovation). The implementation of experiential learning methods (learning through experience) has proven effective in fostering student enthusiasm and creativity in identifying simple product ideas. This optimization is recommended to be continued through the establishment of a Little Creative Club and the integration of simple entrepreneurship modules into the madrasah curriculum

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa sosialisasi analisis perkembangan kognitif anak pada guru di pendidikan anak usia dini gugus Golewa untuk meningkatka kualitas pembelajaran. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah PAUD di Gugus Golewa yakni PAUD Terpadu Citra Bakti, UPTD TKN Linajawa, TKN Delupore, TKN Harapan Bangsa Koeloda, TKK St. Skolastika Matai, TKN Rutosoro, TKK Ade Irma Mataloko, dan Kober Peupado Malanuza. Berdasarkan analisis permasalahan dan kebutuhan mitra, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dirancang dengan metode sosialisasi, yaitu dengan memberikan penjelasan mengenai hasil analisis perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini. Penyuluhan ini akan dilakukan dalam bentuk diskusi interaktif untuk memudahkan pemahaman mengenai perkembangan kognitif anak dan dampaknya terhadap pembelajaran. Sosialisasi juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran para guru tentang pentingnya menyesuaikan metode pembelajaran dengan tahapan perkembangan kognitif anak. Sasaran pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru PAUD di Gugus Golewa. Melalui sosialisasi ini, diharapkan para guru dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang diberikan kepada anak usia dini dengan menyesuaikan metode pembelajaran yang tepat sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangan kognitif anak. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan kompetensi para guru dalam merancang kegiatan belajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perkembangan kognitif anak serta meningkatnya kualitas proses pembelajaran di PAUD Gugus Golewa.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of residents in Semanan Urban Village to implement Al-based urban farming as a strategy to strengthen food security, digital literacy, and community empowerment. The activities were carried out through stages of socialization, training, technology implementation, mentoring, and evaluation, grounded in development communication and participatory communication approaches. The results indicate that integrating urban farming with Al technologies- such as soil sensors, plant monitoring applications, and automated irrigation systems— successfully improved the community's knowledge and technical skills in managing urban agriculture. Training sessions utilizing instructional communication and hands-on learning effectively increased digital literacy and accelerated the adoption of technological innovations. Continuous mentoring and the establishment of an urban farming community strengthened program sustainability through information exchange, collaboration, and enhanced community ownership of the innovation. Additionally, the production of a short documentary served as an effective audio-visual medium to broaden information dissemination and highlight the role of visual communication in community empowerment. Overall, the program not only improved urban farming productivity but also strengthened communication capacity, social inclusion, and technological independence at the community level. The integration of Al into urban farming proved to be an effective, adaptive, and replicable innovation for other urban areas.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama Hindu menghadapi tantangan untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai ajaran dharma dengan tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Salah satu inovasi adalah implementasi Kurikulum Cinta, yang menanamkan cinta kepada Tuhan, sesama, lingkungan, dan bangsa, serta relevan dengan konsep Tri Hita Karana dan Tri Kaya Parisudha. Namun, hasil observasi di Adi Widyalaya Rsi Markandya Taro Gianyar menunjukkan rendahnya pemahaman guru terhadap Kurikulum Cinta (10%) dan Deep Learning (20%), serta belum adanya perangkat ajar berbasis kedua konsep tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, kontekstual, dan reflektif-transformatif melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas guru, 100% mampu menyusun RPP dan LKPD, 85% berhasil membuat media digital, serta terjadi peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan terjadi peningkatan hasil beajar siswa. Program ini telah berhasil menghasilkan model perangkat ajar berbasis kurikulum cinta perspektif Hindu dengan pendekatan deep learning yang mampu mendukung transformasi pendidikan agama Hindu yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Modern technology has created significant opportunities for enhancing personalization in learning, particularly through the utilization of data analytics and artificial intelligence, which enable the customization of learning products based on students’ needs, levels of understanding, and learning styles. This condition requires educators and tutoring instructors to possess adequate digital skills in order to produce instructional materials that are relevant, adaptive, and easily accessible. Responding to this need, this community service program was designed to provide training and assistance in developing digital-based learning products for tutors at the AURORA Tutoring Institute in Grobogan Regency, Central Java. The program was implemented through four stages: socialization, training, mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. The training consisted of two main sessions: (1) multimedia production through the development of PowerPoint materials assisted by artificial intelligence and the recording of instructional content, and (2) training in managing a Learning Management System using Google Classroom. A total of 10 tutors participated in the entire series of activities. The evaluation results indicate an improvement in participants’ digital competencies, evidenced by all tutors (100%) being able to produce learning multimedia that is more engaging, interactive, flexible, and ready for use in tutoring sessions. This program demonstrates that structured training interventions can effectively enhance the quality of learning digitalization within tutoring institutions.

Abstract

Sindrom metabolik merupakan kumpulan faktor risiko metabolik yang secara signifikan meningkatkan kemungkinan seseorang mengalami penyakit jantung koroner, diabetes melitus tipe 2, dan komplikasi metabolik lainnya. Kondisi ini ditandai oleh obesitas sentral, peningkatan tekanan darah, hiperglikemia, kadar trigliserida tinggi, dan penurunan kolesterol tipe High Density Lipoprotein (HDL). Di Indonesia, prevalensi sindrom metabolik terus meningkat, termasuk di wilayah pedesaan seperti Desa Lolu, Kecamatan Sigi Biromaru, Kabupaten Sigi. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, dan keterampilan ibu rumah tangga dalam melakukan deteksi dini dan pencegahan sindrom metabolik melalui pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu persiapan, sosialisasi, edukasi, pelatihan pemeriksaan kesehatan sederhana, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan metode pre-test dan post-test untuk menilai peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang pencegahan dan deteksi dini sindrom metabolik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman ibu rumah tangga mengenai faktor risiko dan cara pencegahan sindrom metabolik. Pengabdian ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan edukatif partisipatif mampu memberdayakan ibu rumah tangga sebagai agen perubahan dalam pencegahan penyakit tidak menular di tingkat keluarga dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Program pendampingan pengajaran di SMP Negeri 2 Matesih dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual dan diintegrasikan dengan teknologi digital. Metode yang digunakan berlandaskan pada pembelajaran kontekstual, pendekatan etnomatematika, serta literasi digital. Beberapa program utama yang dilaksanakan meliputi kegiatan literasi pagi, pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis budaya, pengembangan perpustakaan digital, peluncuran situs web pembelajaran “Mathez”, serta pemanfaatan media digital interaktif seperti Canva dan kecerdasan buatan (AI). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan partisipasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam aktivitas literasi dan numerasi, disertai dengan tumbuhnya kesadaran terhadap pentingnya budaya lokal serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi antara pendidikan, kearifan lokal, dan teknologi digital mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna, kontekstual, dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan zaman.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance elementary school teachers' competence in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their pedagogical practices through the TPACK-AI framework. Conducted at SD Mitra in Cirebon City from August to September 2025, the program involved 10 certified teachers (7 female, 3 male) through a 5-week structured intervention consisting of preparation, intensive training, guided implementation, and evaluation phases. Using a quasi-experimental pre-post test design, data were collected through validated competency assessments, classroom observations, digital portfolios, and focus group discussions. Results showed significant improvements across four competency dimensions: conceptual understanding (from M=62.4 to M=86.7), technical skills in operating AI platforms (from M=58.3 to M=88.2), digital content creation abilities (from M=54.6 to M=84.5), and pedagogical integration capacity (from M=51.2 to M=82.8). Participant satisfaction averaged 4.52/5.0, indicating high program effectiveness. However, challenges persisted including unstable internet access (30%), time constraints (40%), and limited institutional support (20%). The program demonstrated that structured, hands-on training combined with guided implementation effectively transforms teaching practices, contributing to national digital literacy efforts in education
