Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat merupakan jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang menjadi wadah ilmiah untuk pengabdian, dengan nomor terdaftar E-ISSN. KOMUNITA adalah jurnal multidisiplin ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh PELITA NUSA TENGGARA. Penerbitan jurnal ini akan dilakukan dalam satu tahun, mulai tahun 2022 terbit sebanyak dua kali terbit yaitu pada bulan Februari dan Agustus. KOMUNITA: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan kepada Masyarakat memfokuskan pada masalah umum atau masalah yang terkait dengan layanan masyarakat. Tujuan dari publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual atau ide dan hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian masyarakat. KOMUNITA: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan kepada Masyarakat, berisi berbagai kegiatan dalam menangani dan mengelola berbagai potensi, hambatan, tantangan, dan masalah yang ada di masyarakat. Implementasi kegiatan layanan juga melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mitra. Kegiatan pelayanan diorganisasikan menjadi kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Kekerasan seksual pada anak menjadi salah satu permasalahan serius yang berdampak jangka panjang terhadap perkembangan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial anak. data dari Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Perlindungan Anak, dan Keluarga Berencana (DP3AKB) Pangkalpinang pada tahun 2024 terdapat total 78 kasus kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak dengan 24 kasus (30 %) terjadi pada anak-anak. Fenomena kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap anak di Pangkalpinang khususnya pada siswa sekolah dasar menuntut adanya upaya pencegahan sejak dini yang melibatkan berbagai pihak mulai dari sekolah, orang tua, hingga lingkungan masyarakat. Salah satu upaya yang efektif adalah dengan memberikan pendidikan perlindungan diri dan kesadaran akan hak-hak anak melalui Program “Kenali dan Lindungi Diri”. Program ini bertujuan menjadi model pencegahan kekerasan seksual yang berkelanjutan di Kota Pangkalpinang sekaligus memperkuat komitmen perlindungan anak di tingkat sekolah dasar. Pelaksanaan lokasi pengabdian yaitu Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Pangkalpinang yang terletak di Jl. Usman Ambon, Kel. Kejaksaan, Kec. Taman Sari, Kota Pangkal Pinang Prov. Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Metode dan Tahapan Pelaksanaan Pengabdian Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui Program Pelatihan dan Sosialisasi Kenali dan Lindungi Diri di sekolah dasar dilaksanakan beberapa tahapan yang saling terintegrasi yaitu survey dan koordinasi dengan mitra pengabdian, sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Pelaksanaan program “Kenali Diri dan Lindungi Diri” di SDN 15 Pangkalpinang memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan seluruh warga sekolah baik siswa, guru, maupun orang tua terkait pentingnya perlindungan diri dan pencegahan kekerasan seksual terhadap anak.

Abstract

Permasalahan limbah plastik di pesantren belum dikelola secara produktif sehingga menimbulkan pencemaran sekaligus hilangnya potensi ekonomi kreatif. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan memberdayakan santri melalui pelatihan ecopreneurship wayang berbasis limbah plastik. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, pendampingan kreatif, serta pemasaran digital yang melibatkan 50 santri Pondok Pesantren Tebuireng dan mahasiswa Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre–post test pengetahuan, observasi keterampilan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi produk. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan peserta dari 46,2 menjadi 78,5 (+70%), keterampilan teknis menghasilkan 15 wayang plastik, dan 80% peserta menyatakan siap memproduksi secara mandiri. Uji coba pemasaran melalui media sosial memperoleh respons positif dari komunitas seni dan masyarakat sekitar. Program ini berkontribusi pada pengurangan limbah plastik sekaligus membuka peluang wirausaha kreatif berbasis budaya. Dengan demikian, ecopreneurship wayang limbah plastik dapat dijadikan model pemberdayaan santri yang selaras dengan SDGs.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve financial literacy and develop a proper saving mindset among students (santri) of Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Izzuddin Islamic Boarding School in Palembang. The low awareness of saving behavior among adolescents, including santri, is often caused by the lack of education on personal financial management. The program adopted a participatory-educational approach through several stages: socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. A total of 19 students from grades VII–IX actively participated in this activity. The materials covered the fundamentals of saving, factors that hinder saving habits, effective saving techniques, and an introduction to various saving and investment instruments. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of the importance of saving, personal financial management, and their ability to formulate short- and long-term financial goals. Evaluation results showed that 90% of participants understood effective saving techniques, and 100% were able to identify their personal financial goals. This program successfully fostered early financial awareness and served as an initial step toward building the students’ economic independence through planned and sustainable saving habits.

Abstract

Teachers in remote schools often experience psychological stress and professional burnout due to limited resources, heavy workloads, and lack of psychosocial support, which negatively affect both teacher well-being and learning quality. This community service program aims to enhance teachers’ mental well-being and professionalism through a Tech-Based Psychosocial Mentoring Innovation, supporting SDGs 3, 4, and 8, as well as University Key Performance Indicators (IKU) 3 and 7 by empowering educators in low-resource settings. The program was implemented in three stages: preparation (needs assessment, development of the “Healthy Teacher” psychosocial module, and creation of a Google Site–based Learning Management System), implementation (three-day training on stress management, emotional regulation, and reflective mentoring), and evaluation (using the WHO-5 Wellbeing Index, daily reflections, and focus group discussions). Results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ well-being, with WHO-5 scores increasing from moderate to good levels. Teachers also reported improved stress management, higher motivation, and stronger collegial support. The program produced ten psychoeducational videos, a digital LMS, and a sustainable reflective teacher community supported by two internal mentors. Overall, this innovation effectively enhanced teachers’ psychological well-being and professionalism in remote schools and can be replicated in other rural or low-resource educational settings to promote sustainable teacher well-being and school quality improvement.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness and brand image of Macaron Tuffero through the development of a Profile Website as an effective and sustainable digital promotion medium. The partner of this program is the Macaron Tuffero SME, which operates in the production of cakes and desserts, located in Dau District, Malang Regency. The activity involved the business owner and staff as primary participants who collaborated actively with the community service team from Politeknik Negeri Malang. The main problem faced by the partner was the limited use of digital promotion media and the absence of an official platform to professionally present the business profile. To address this issue, the activity was implemented through five main stages: needs analysis, website design and architecture planning, system development and implementation, testing, and website usage training. The website was developed using the WordPress platform with the WooCommerce plugin to facilitate product catalogs and online ordering features. The results show that the developed website functions properly, consistently presents the business’s visual identity, and integrates with various social media and marketplace platforms. The website also provides convenience for the business owner to independently update content. Overall, this community service program successfully delivered a practical digital solution that contributes to marketing capacity enhancement and supports digital transformation among SMEs in the technology-based economy era.

Abstract

The community service activity at SMA Bina Jaya Kertapati Palembang was successfully implemented according to the planned methods. This activity effectively encouraged active student participation through interactive discussions where students raised critical questions related to financial literacy, including effective saving methods, digital fund management via e-wallets, and strategies to resist consumptive temptations. Students demonstrated increased awareness of the importance of early financial planning and prudent digital financial management, reflecting a deeper understanding of current economic challenges. The educational approach emphasizing financial values and ethics, such as thriftiness and responsibility, proved effective in shaping healthy financial behavior. The results align with studies that highlight the positive relationship between financial literacy and economic well-being, especially among the youth. The interactive and contextualized socialization and training programs not only enhanced knowledge but also fostered positive attitudes in personal financial management to avoid consumptive behaviors. Thus, this community service contributes significantly to preparing a financially savvy generation ready to face future economic challenges.

Abstract

Teachers' pedagogical competence in organizing educational learning is through the use of learning media according to the characteristics of students. The problem found by junior high school physical education teachers in Ogan Ilir Regency is the lack of knowledge and utilization of science and technology in the form of animaker-based learning media, not yet understanding how to utilize Animaker optimally. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training and mentoring on the application of animaker-based learning media to improve teacher skills. The methods used are lecture, question and answer and simulation methods. The results of community service activities, namely the pre-test results, can be seen that the interest of participants in participating in the service activities was 93.8%, experiencing an increase in the post-test of 6.2%. According to participants, 100% considered the importance of learning innovation in the digital era. The pre-test results regarding knowledge of animaker learning media were 44,8%, increasing after being given training materials and animaker mentoring by 55.2% during the post-test to 100%. Participants, 35.5%, knew how to operate animaker-based learning media according to the pre-test results, experiencing an increase of 64.5% during the post-test to 100%. The implication is that Animaker-based learning media can be applied as a reference for teaching materials for teachers. The conclusion is that training and mentoring activities using Animaker-based media for teachers have a positive impact, namely improving the quality of physical education teachers.

Abstract

Desa Lingsar memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai desa budaya berbasis kearifan lokal yang mampu mendorong perekonomian lokal. Namun, pemahaman masyarakat khususnya komunitas Hindu di Desa Lingsar terkait konsep wisata budaya dan upaya pelestarian budaya masih sangat kurang. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pelatihan kepada komunitas Hindu mengenai pemahaman menyeluruh tentang pengelolaan potensi wisata budaya berbasis kearifan lokal, pelatihan konten digital bagi generasi muda serta penguatan dalam melestarikan budaya lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan partisipatif melalui pendekatan ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, serta observasi langsung di lapangan yang melibatkan berbagai unsur masyarakat, termasuk pengelola pura, perangkat desa dan tokoh masyarakat setempat. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan kemampuan masyarakat Hindu untuk merawat potensi budaya secara otentik serta berperan sebagai pelaku utama dalam pengelolaan pariwisata berbasis kearifan lokal; partisipasi aktif membantu mempertahankan nilai-nilai tradisi sambil membuka peluang ekonomi namun juga mengungkap keterbatasan sumber daya dan kebutuhan pelatihan lanjutan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan pengelolaan. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberdayaan komunitas efektif untuk pelestarian budaya dan pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Lingsar, dengan rekomendasi penguatan kapasitas, dukungan infrastruktur, serta pemantauan dan pendampingan jangka panjang.

Abstract

Pengrajin besi di Kelurahan Massepe menghadapi permasalahan serius berupa rendahnya kesadaran tentang kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja, minimnya pengetahuan tentang penyakit infeksi pernapasan akibat kerja, serta tidak adanya penggunaan alat pelindung diri saat bekerja. Tujuan pengabdian adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran pengrajin tentang kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja melalui edukasi dan pelatihan penggunaan APD. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, workshop interaktif, pelatihan simulasi penggunaan APD berupa masker respirasi dan pelindung mata-wajah, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan yang melibatkan 20 pengrajin besi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, observasi keterampilan, dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan mitra sebesar 40%, dengan 85% mitra mampu menggunakan masker respirator dengan benar, 90% terampil menggunakan pelindung mata dan wajah, serta 80% mampu menggunakan pelindung kulit dan lengan. Program ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam peningkatan kesadaran K3 dan menjadi model percontohan bagi industri kerajinan tradisional lainnya

Abstract

This community service program was implemented to improve the competency of teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak City in understanding and implementing digital assessment as part of strengthening professionalism in the era of technology-based learning. The activity was developed through five stages, including initial data collection, pre-test, material delivery, practice and direct mentoring, and post-test. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in all indicators of participant understanding, including understanding of learning assessment (23% to 100%), instrument validity (23% to 91%), question difficulty level (41% to 95%), and utilization of interactive assessment media (73% to 86%). In addition, skills in operating the digital assessment platform also increased from 63% to 100%. These findings indicate that the training was able to strengthen the conceptual foundation and technical skills of teachers in designing and implementing accurate, interactive, and data-driven digital assessments. This program has implications for increasing teacher readiness in developing adaptive and relevant evaluation practices to the demands of 21st-century education
