Abstract

Learning media is one way to improve student learning outcomes. The Ferris wheel is one of these media that has many varied questions. It is hoped that the Ferris wheel-assisted TGT model will not only be innovative learning, but can also influence student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes for the buffer solution using the Ferris wheel. A quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent groups and the posttest alone design approach is the research methodology used. Purposive sampling was employed during the sample process. All 294 students in class XI Mathematics and Natural Sciences at State High School 1 Lhokseumawe in the academic year 2022–2023 made up the population of this study. with a 50-student research sample. ways for gathering data, including tests, interviews, and observation. The research questions are evaluated with a school that is similar to the research location before being used in the study. The difficulty of the problems being examined, the discriminatory capacity, the validity, and the dependability of the tests are all taken into consideration. The outcomes revealed a sizable distinction between the Experiment I class and the Experiment II class. Cognitive ability as measured by the experimental class I average of 85.37 and experimental class II average of 79.58. If the value of sig 0.05, then Ha is acceptable. Cognitive findings sig. (2-tailed) t-test for equality of means on equal variances is assumed to be 0.008. The material for the buffer solution for class XI MIA was found to have a good impact on student learning outcomes when the TGT model using the Ferris wheel was used SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe

Abstract

This study aims to assess mathematics teachers' understanding of Mathematics Content Knowledge based on the Revised Bloom Taxonomy. The method used is quantitative descriptive research with a survey approach. The respondents of this study were mathematics teachers who taught at SMP/MTs in Losari District, Brebes Regency. Data was collected using non-test instruments in the form of questionnaires and question tests. Data analysis involves presenting data, testing differences, and concluding. The results showed that teachers' understanding of Mathematics Content Knowledge in teaching and mastery of the material was categorized as strong. Based on Bloom's revised taxonomy, teachers have good mastery, especially in knowledge dimensions such as factual, conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive knowledge, which are categorized as high. There was no significant difference in the average Mathematics Content Knowledge score of teachers, either with a working period of less than 10 years, 10-15 years, or more than 15 years.

Abstract

The subject of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) is the most strategic subject to strengthen students' democratic attitudes because it is closely related to habits or customs that need to be improved in everyday life so that it is easier to practice. The role of Civics teachers is needed to direct students to get maximum teaching and be able to practice democratic values. This article aims to find out the meaning of Pancasila and Citizenship Education, Pancasila democracy, and analyze the role of teachers in strengthening democratic values in high school students. The literature study method with a literature review approach was applied by the author in preparing the article. Data collection techniques use documentation studies by collecting documents that are in accordance with the research topic. The results of the study explained that Pancasila and Citizenship Education is a subject that is closely related to lessons that relate to human relations in a country, whether social, economic, or political relations. Pancasila democracy is a system of government that is run in Indonesia based on the values contained in Pancasila itself. The results of the analysis of the role of Civics teachers in high school students show that the role of educators is very important to apply and implement democratic values for students. The implementation is shown by several democratic attitudes such as freedom of opinion, respect for other people's opinions, deliberation to reach consensus, accustoming students to participate in elections within the school, and so on. Strengthening democratic values is very important to teach because students are part of society who will later play a role in monitoring democracy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Network security is a crucial aspect in the IT world, especially the increasing activity of crecker in carrying out attacks without responsibility. cyberscape is an educational game that will be designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the importance of overcoming crecker attacks on the network. The method used in designing this game is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) approach. In the analysis stage, needs collection and determination of learning objectives are carried out. The design stage includes storyboarding and game design. Characters and other visual elements are designed using pixil art techniques to provide a unique and attractive appearance. The development stage involves creating game content, initial testing, and code implementation using Unity Game Engine integrated with C# programming language. The implementation stage includes the deployment of the game to users. The results showed that "Cyberscape" was effective in improving players' understanding of basic network security concepts. Users reported a significant increase in their knowledge of how to identify and overcome cracker attacks after playing the game. Qualitative and quantitative evaluations showed a high level of satisfaction among users, as well as an increased awareness of the importance of network security. With this approach, it is hoped that "Cyberscape" can be an effective tool in network security education and help reduce vulnerability to cracker attacks.

Abstract

The spinal cord is a collection of nerve fibers located along the spine, stretching from the bottom of the brain to the lower back. part of the body which is also called the medical term finalistic medulla. As is known, the brain is the central organ that gives orders to other body organs, even the smallest cells in the body. Meanwhile, the spinal cord is a bridge that connects messages from the brain to the body parts and vice versa. Often the spinal cord is not stimulated properly and this has a big impact on its development, so in order for the spinal cord to function well it needs to be stimulated in one way, namely rhythmic gymnastics. With rhythmic gymnastics, the child will be free to move his body while following the rhythm so that the child's spinal cord or spinal cord can move well.

Abstract

The growing accessibility of information technology offers significant potential for developing educational applications, including those for religious learning. One pressing need is for effective tools to learn daily prayers, essential in Muslim life. This article details the creation of an Android-based daily prayer learning application designed to aid users in learning and memorizing these prayers. The application was developed in four stages: user needs analysis through surveys and interviews, intuitive user interface design, application development using Android Studio with Java, and rigorous testing via Black-box Testing and user trials. Key features include complete prayer texts with translations, audio recitations, and explanations of prayer contexts and benefits. Testing results were positive, with users praising the app’s effectiveness, user-friendly interface, and high-quality content. By leveraging Android’s popularity and affordability, this application provides an accessible and interactive learning platform, addressing the urgent need for a practical medium to enhance daily prayer knowledge and skills among Muslims.

Abstract

Matematika memiliki peran penting dalam membantu siswa menyelesaikan masalah di kehidupan sehari-hari. Masalah dalam dunia nyata dapat dituangkan dalam bentuk soal cerita matematika. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah, siswa perlu mengikuti beberapa tahapan, dimulai dari translasi masalah, di mana mereka memilih informasi penting dan mengubahnya menjadi model matematika. Model adalah representasi dari objek, benda, atau ide dalam bentuk yang berbeda dari entitas aslinya. Sedangkan pemodelan matematika adalah cara untuk membuat sistem yang rumit menjadi lebih sederhana dengan menggunakan persamaan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui tingkat pemahaman peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan masalah turunan dengan menggunakan pemodelan matematis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi yang dijadikan subjek penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA-2 sebanyak 35 peserta didik. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi turunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebanyak 13 jawaban benar sesuai langkah Polya (7%) dan sebanyak 162 jawaban tidak sesuai langkah Polya ( 93% ) dari total keseluruhan jawaban 175 (100%). Presentase sama saja dengan penggabungan antara kelompok berkemampuan tinggi dan kelompok berkemampuan sedang yaitu sebanyak tujuh peserta didik dari total keseluruhan tiga puluh lima peserta didik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik masih kesulitan dengan memodelkan masalah dunia nyata kedalam bahasa matematika.

Abstract

This research aims to examine attitude assessment in the learning context, with a focus on Islamic Religious Education. Attitude is defined as a person's feelings, views, or tendencies in responding to objects or situations, which include three main components: affective, cognitive, and conative. These components shape attitudes towards subject matter, teachers, and the learning process as a whole. Attitude assessments are carried out to understand students' behavioral tendencies in learning, including positive attitudes towards material, teachers and a supportive learning environment. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, as well as analysis of related documents. The research results show that students' attitudes can be influenced by affective (emotion), cognitive (understanding) and conative (behavior) aspects. This research also developed an instrument to measure attitudes, which was designed to reflect objective and systematic assessment standards. These findings provide practical insight for educators in evaluating and forming students' attitudes in a comprehensive and accountable manner, supporting successful learning and the development of students' character.

Abstract

This study addresses the rising concern of suicidal ideation among adolescents within Islamic educational institutions, emphasizing the need for culturally and spiritually sensitive interventions. The primary aim of this research is to explore and evaluate the integration of Islamic psychotherapy and self-disclosure methods as a comprehensive approach to support the mental health of madrasa students. This integrative framework incorporates Islamic values ​​such as husnudzon (positive thinking), patience (resilience), and tawakkal (trust in God) with structured self-disclosure, enabling students to express personal thoughts and emotions in a safe environment. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the study reviews academic sources from databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Index Islamicus to gather insights on Islamic-based psychotherapeutic methods and self-disclosure in addressing suicidal ideation among adolescents. Findings indicate that combining Islamic spiritual values ​​with modern therapeutic techniques offers a unique and effective approach for reducing psychological distress, enhancing emotional regulation, and fostering spiritual resilience among adolescents. This study contributes to the growing field of Islamic psychology by providing a dual framework for preventive and curative interventions tailored to the needs of madrasa students. Practical implications include designing culturally relevant mental health programs in religious educational settings.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the perspectives of undergraduate students at Universitas Timor Indonesia about the concepts of collaboration and innovation in the field of education. We conducted two focus group talks, each lasting 45 minutes, to collect data. Students had a restricted understanding of collaboration and innovation. After the investigation, participants showed an enhanced comprehension of these principles and exhibited a significant inclination to augment their collaborative endeavors in innovation. Students concur that collaborative effort and innovative thinking are vital for enhancing education in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Collaborative learning fosters knowledge exchange, skill enhancement, and the exploration of unique learning trajectories. Innovation enhances language acquisition by disrupting traditional learning processes, resulting in novel and effective strategies. Additional inquiry into NTT is necessary because of its unique cultural and linguistic landscape, which presents both challenges and opportunities for educational development. By understanding these local dynamics, educators can tailor their approaches to better meet the diverse needs of students, ultimately fostering a more inclusive and effective learning environment.
