Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by Islamic Religious Education teachers in differentiation learning to improve students' learning motivation at SMAN 3 Kota Bima. The main problem studied is how the implementation of differentiation learning can affect students' learning motivation and what factors support and inhibit the implementation of the strategy. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that differentiation learning implemented by Islamic Religious Education teachers is able to improve students' learning motivation, especially with an approach that focuses on the needs and learning styles of different students. The main supporting factors include teacher competence, facility support, and parental participation. However, there are also inhibiting factors such as limited teacher understanding and inadequate facilities. This study provides an important picture of how differentiation learning can be optimized to improve students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This research intends to assess the execution The Qur’an retention program developing The moral and religious disposition of students MIS Nurul Hidayah Ketapang, located in South Lampung. The tahfidz initiative aims to embed religious principles by encouraging the practice of Qur'an memorization. A qualitative approach with an evaluative method was utilized for this study. Data gathering was carried out through observations, interviews, and document reviews, together with the study participants including the madrasah principal, tahfidz instructors, and students. The data evaluation process involved phases data compacting, presentation, validation, and conclusion formulation. The findings revealed that the tahfidz program's implementation includes the planning phase, implementation, and evaluation. This program contributes to shaping students' religious character, especially in discipline, obedience to worship, and morals. The obstacles faced include time constraints, varied motivation of students, and limited teaching staff. The solutions implemented are providing motivation, parental support, and varied learning methods

Abstract

This study aims to explore the transformation of Scholastic Performance through Islamic Spiritual Engagement in a leading rural school. Using a quantitative method with a survey approach, this study involved 213 students as samples, which were taken through a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that religious activities, such as recitation, joining tahsin classes, joining the Qur'an tahfizh program, praying together, have a positive impact on learning motivation and can shape student character, which can contribute to improving students' Scholastic Performance. The findings suggest that there is a significant relationship between Spiritual Engagement and Scholastic Performance of students in excellent rural schools. The research shows that students who participate in religious activities tend to have better attitudes, including discipline, responsibility, and cooperation, all of which contribute to improving their Scholastic Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policies implemented by schools in developing the Islamic Religious Education curriculum at SMAS YPPL Panjang, so that the curriculum is more relevant to the needs of students in the current digital era. In the context of globalization and digitalization, the challenges faced in developing the Islamic Religious Education curriculum are increasingly complex. For this reason, this study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that school policies include several strategic steps, including increasing the effectiveness of teacher training to overcome resource limitations, strengthening facilities and infrastructure that support experience-based learning, and utilizing social media as a digital da'wah tool to respond to the influence of pop culture on students. In addition, the involvement of parents and the community is also an important aspect in the school's strategy to strengthen students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education and shape their Islamic character

Abstract

The role of mosques as centers of community activity has experienced a decline in the modern era, becoming limited to ritualistic functions without addressing the social-political needs of the Muslim community. This contrasts with the early history of Islam, where mosques were hubs for social transformation, education, and politics. In the modern context, challenges such as secularism, materialism, and low political awareness among Muslims underscore the urgency of revitalizing mosques as spaces for Islamic political education. This study aims to analyze Ismail Raji al-Faruqi’s concept of tawhid as a strategic foundation for political education in mosques, exploring its potential to cultivate a generation of Muslims aware of their political and social responsibilities. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach based on library research, the findings indicate that mosques have significant potential to become inclusive spaces that integrate the values of tawhid with principles of social justice, solidarity, and equality. Al-Faruqi’s thought emphasizes that mosque-based Islamic political education not only counters secularism and materialism but also fosters a harmonious and just society. However, challenges remain in fully utilizing mosques as political spaces, making their revitalization a strategic step to restore their historical function as centers for both spiritual and social-political empowerment.

Abstract

The basis of this research aims to describe the phenomenon of juvenile delinquent behavior in Labunia Village, to determine the occurrence of juvenile delinquent behavior in Labunia Village, and to overcome juvenile delinquent behavior that occurs in Labunia Village. Based on the research title that was raised, namely “The Phenomenon of Juvenile Delinquent Behavior (Case Study of Juvenile Delinquency in Labunia Village, Wakorumba Selatan Subdistrict)”, the research method used is qualitative research with a type of case study research, to examine an event or case that occurs by looking at the relationship of all variables in the event. Labunia Village teenagers who are involved in delinquency in the form of alcohol, reckless driving and brawls. One of the main factors influencing juvenile delinquency in Labunia Village is the lack of supervision and attention from parents. Peer influence is one of the main factors causing juvenile delinquency in Labunia Village. Labunia Village teenagers tend to be influenced by their peers who have negative behaviors, such as alcohol, recklessness and fighting.Keywords: Juvenile delinquent behavior

Abstract

The genome is a collection of genes in chromosomes that are dynamic, active and are the command centre in forming complex creatures. The purpose of this study is to obtain information about the role of genomes in differences in children's character, because the quality of parents' genes basically determines how the character of children has differences from one child to another. and Down syndrome children and provide early knowledge to people who are not yet married that the quality of their genes determines their next generation. The research uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive analysis. Data were collected using interview and documentation techniques. The research subjects consisted of 4 children with Down syndrome and 4 parents (mother and father). From the results of interviews conducted, the role of the environment on genome quality is very influential. Firstly, out of 4 pairs of families, only 1 respondent has a history of genetic disorders while the other 3 respondents do not. Second, the environment affects the inhibition and speed of recovery of Down syndrome children if they do not and or get the right treatment. Third, children with Down syndrome have an equal opportunity to succeed. These findings emphasise the important role of family and community education in supporting the overall growth and development of children.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the strategies implemented by Islamic Religious Education teachers in increasing students' interest in learning at SMPN 7 South Konawe. In the educational context, interest in learning is an important factor that can influence the success of the learning process, especially in religious lessons which are often considered less interesting by some students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method involving direct observation, interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers, school principals and students. The data obtained was analysed descriptively to identify various strategies used by teachers, as well as factors that support and hinder increasing student interest in learning. The research results show that the strategies implemented by teachers include an active learning approach, the use of interesting learning media, and providing motivation through positive reinforcement. Apart from that, students' internal factors, such as personal motivation and family support, also play an important role in increasing their interest in learning. However, there are several obstacles, such as a lack of supporting facilities and challenges in managing heterogeneous classes. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of more effective learning strategies in increasing students' interest in learning, especially in Islamic Religious Education lessons at SMPN 7 South Konawe.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of performing Salat Tahajud on the level of discipline among students at Al-Amanah Islamic Boarding School. This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach, which aims to determine the influence of the independent variable (the practice of Salat Tahajud) on the dependent variable (student discipline). The population in this study consists of all female students in the 5th grade of KMI at Al-Amanah Islamic Boarding School, using purposive sampling with a total sample of 35 students who regularly perform Tahajud prayer. The data collection techniques used in this study include questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the level of influence of Tahajud prayer practice among students at Al-Amanah Islamic Boarding School has an average score of 41.43, categorized as moderate; (2) the level of disciplinary behavior among students at Al-Amanah Islamic Boarding School has an average score of 39.42, also categorized as moderate; (3) there is a significant positive influence of Tahajud prayer practice on students' disciplinary behavior at Al-Amanah Islamic Boarding School. The influence of Tahajud prayer practice is 32%, while the remaining 68% is influenced by other factors
