Abstract

This community service program aims to analyze the effectiveness of utilizing TikTok Shop as a digital marketing platform for UMKM Izzata Hijab located in Paciran District, Lamongan Regency. The main problem faced by the partner is the suboptimal management of digital marketing, particularly in content strategy planning, posting consistency, and the utilization of TikTok Shop features, resulting in marketing activities that have not yet provided maximum impact on improving marketing performance. The implementation method of this community service employed a mentoring and training model, which included stages of interviews, observation, and documentation throughout the mentoring process. The results indicate that the planned and sustainable implementation of digital marketing strategies through TikTok Shop is able to increase brand awareness, expand promotional reach, enhance customer interaction, and positively impact product sales. The effectiveness of the community service program is influenced by posting consistency, visual content quality, digital communication understanding, and the partner’s responsiveness to customers. This community service confirms that TikTok Shop digital marketing assistance is an effective strategy in supporting the improvement of marketing performance of UMKM Izzata Hijab in the digital era.

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen high school graduates’ understanding of the architectural profession, educational pathways, and legal qualifications required to become a professional architect under the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI). The online outreach was held on November 27, 2025, featuring two licensed architects from IAI and attended by 97 participants. The activities included interactive presentations, discussions, and an evaluation through a five-item pretest and post-test. The results show an overall improvement in participants’ comprehension of architects’ roles, responsibilities, and professional legality, with an average accuracy above 90%. The greatest improvement occurred in the legal aspect, where participants recognized the importance of the Surat Tanda Registrasi Arsitek (STRA) as a legal credential for professional practice. This program effectively increased prospective students’ awareness of professionalism, ethics, and regulatory understanding in architectural practice. It also served as an academic promotion platform that bridges architectural education with society’s demand for competent and ethical architects.

Abstract

This community service research was conducted to examine the implementation of branding development through a Car Free Day event as a strategy to enhance communication and visual identity at Telaga Harmony Residence. The background of this study is the need for effective community branding to strengthen public awareness, social engagement, and residential image in a growing housing area. The objective of this activity was to apply integrated communication and visual strategies that support brand identity through participatory public events. The method employed was a participatory and collaborative approach involving residents, organizers, and local stakeholders, supported by promotional media, visual design elements, and social interaction activities. The findings indicate that the Car Free Day event successfully increased community participation, strengthened visual recognition of the residential brand, and improved public perception of Telaga Harmony Residence as a healthy and environmentally friendly housing area. The implications of this study suggest that community-based events combined with consistent branding and visual communication strategies can effectively enhance residential identity and social cohesion, and may serve as a reference for similar community development programs in the future.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, children are exposed to a social environment influenced by external factors such as social media, advertising, and a consumer culture, all of which can promote a materialistic lifestyle. Consequently, financial literacy education has become essential to equip children with the necessary skills to manage their finances effectively. Beginning with a simple understanding of accounting, children can learn fundamental concepts of money management, financial decision-making, and planning. However, many young children still lack access to this vital education. Various learning methods and media, including loose parts, storytelling, and interactive educational tools, can be utilized to foster financial understanding. Additionally, this education promotes important social concepts like sharing, charity, and the responsibility of managing finances to help others. It integrates Islamic principles, emphasizing values such as honesty, justice, transparency, and the avoidance of usury. Through these principles, children are not only taught how to manage their personal finances but also how to contribute to society. By implementing financial literacy education at an early age, we can help children grow into informed, ethical, and responsible leaders in the future. This education is crucial for ensuring they make sound financial choices and contribute positively to their communities.

Abstract

Inclusive Early Childhood Education (PAUD) faces significant challenges in the era of digital disruption, particularly in integrating technology with meaningful and contextual learning. This study aims to develop and implement a contextual deep learning strategy through the ASYIK, ATIK, and SIUUL models. The research used a participatory workshop method combined with experiential learning and collaborative inquiry approaches, involving 50 PAUD practitioners in the Cikarang area. The findings showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge and a very high level of satisfaction, with 98% reporting satisfaction or high satisfaction. The learning simulations demonstrated the successful application of creative and contextual strategies to support inclusive education for children with special needs. Participants were highly motivated to implement these models in their institutions. The study recommends continuous technical support, the development of adaptive learning media, and the establishment of practitioner communities to ensure the sustainable implementation of inclusive education. These efforts are essential to enhance the quality and inclusiveness of early childhood education in the digital era.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen the capacity of economic institutions and community business groups in villages and urban areas within the OVOP program locations in East Flores Regency. The program responded to the growing need for adaptive business strategies in the digital era and the importance of developing local potential into competitive products. It was implemented through a participatory, educative, and applicative approach during September 8–12, 2025. The training methods included lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, hands-on practice, and simulations to ensure a balance between theoretical understanding and practical application. The findings indicate significant improvements in participants’ understanding of the OVOP concept, managerial competencies, financial administration, and technical skills in product processing, packaging, and labeling. In addition, participants demonstrated increased awareness and ability in applying digital marketing strategies to expand market reach. The program also fostered stronger collaboration networks among business groups, economic institutions, and local government stakeholders. High participant engagement and active involvement throughout the sessions reflect the effectiveness of the training design. Overall, this program contributes to enhancing local economic resilience and promoting sustainable, competitive, and community-based enterprises. The study highlights the importance of continuous mentoring, institutional strengthening, and policy support to sustain the long-term impact of capacity-building initiatives in rural and semi-urban areas.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to strengthen the branding and improve the digital marketing capacity of the Tape Ketan MSME in Mondoteko Village through the utilization of social media and packaging innovation. The business partner faced several major problems, including weak business visual identity, limited use of social media as a promotional tool, and simple product packaging designs that were less attractive to consumers. These conditions resulted in low product appeal and limited marketing reach. The implementation method used a participatory approach through direct assistance to business owners. The activity stages included initial observation, identification of partner needs, design of promotional banners, creation and optimization of social media accounts, and redesign of product packaging to make it more modern, informative, and marketable. In addition, MSME owners were educated about the importance of branding, digital marketing strategies, and consistency in building a business image. The results showed an increase in the understanding and skills of MSME owners in utilizing digital media for promotion. Product packaging became more attractive and professional, while the use of social media became more active and organized. These improvements had a positive impact on increasing consumer interest, expanding market reach, and enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This community service program is an international initiative aimed at increasing public awareness of the importance of language politeness in environmental campaigns, particularly in efforts to reduce plastic waste. The program was carried out through collaboration between Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Politeknik Besut Terengganu Malaysia, and the Geng Plastik Ija Terengganu community. The activities were conducted at Bukit Keluang Beach using a participatory approach that actively involved community members in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of the program. The activities included training on polite communication, simulations of persuasive language use in environmental campaigns, and direct practice of plastic waste reduction campaigns for the surrounding community. Through these activities, participants gained a better understanding of the importance of using polite and effective language in delivering environmental messages to society. The results showed an improvement in participants’ communication skills in environmental advocacy, increased public awareness regarding plastic waste reduction, and greater community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness. Furthermore, this international collaboration also strengthened cross-cultural communication competencies and institutional cooperation in implementing community service activities oriented toward environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Digital literacy is an essential competency in the era of digital transformation because it involves not only technical skills but also the ability to critically understand information in cyberspace. A good level of digital literacy can encourage community participation in public decision-making and democratic processes, while inequality in access and digital literacy skills may hinder such participation. Therefore, this community service activity aims to improve digital literacy in order to overcome challenges and strengthen inclusive community participation. The activity targeted children and adolescents in Waihoka Village, Ambon City, with 31 participants involved in socialization and educational sessions. Evaluations were conducted before and after the presentation of the material, and the results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of digital literacy from early childhood to adolescence. Thus, communities with adequate digital literacy are expected to be more capable of accessing information, interacting appropriately in digital spaces, and actively participating in public decision-making processes and social activities in the digital era.

Abstract

Environmental cleanliness is an important aspect in supporting the quality of life of the community, one of which is influenced by the availability of adequate waste management facilities. The problem faced by the community in Lewolaga Village, East Flores Regency is the limited waste disposal facilities so that the habit of littering still often occurs. This activity aims to provide trash bins and increase public awareness in maintaining environmental cleanliness. The implementation method includes the stages of observation, planning, implementation, socialization and handover. The activity took place in April 2026 with the local community. The results of the activity show that the presence of trash bins makes it easier for the community to manage waste and contributes to improving environmental cleanliness. In addition, counseling regarding the sorting of organic and non-organic waste can increase understanding and shape community behavior to be more orderly in disposing of waste. Overall, this program has a positive impact in creating a clean and healthy environment.
