Abstract

This research aims to determine student learning outcomes and student activities in participating in classroom learning using the Picture and Picture method. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles with the research subjects being class III students, totaling 30 students. Observational data collection techniques. The research results obtained on student learning outcomes, the percentage of students who were classically active in cycle I was 40%. then in cycle II the percentage of classically active student learning activities was 87%. From the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the learning process using the Picture and Picture learning method can improve the learning outcomes of class III students at SDN 01 Rantau Selatan, Rantau Selatan District, Labuhanbatu Regency. This is proven by the increase in the number of students who achieved the KKM, cycle I by 23% and cycle II by 87%. This success was due to the application of the Picture and Picture method by instilling basic concepts by guiding students to be better able to recognize social conditions in the environment. they. By using the Picture and Picture method, students' attitudes are more active in the teaching and learning process, able to pay attention to the learning process well, able to ask questions to the teacher if they are not well understood, this is indicated by a good learning process, so it can be said that by using the observation sheet students can It is known that the increase in student learning outcomes from pre-research to cycle II can be said to be going well. This proves that the next cycle is not necessary. Therefore, using the picture and picture method has been proven to improve learning outcomes in social studies lessons for class III students at SDN 01 Rantau Selatan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of children in rolling the ball in a directed manner, lack of physical fitness training and gross motor learning is not yet varied in children aged 5-6 years. This is because the learning carried out by teachers in the classroom still uses direct learning models with conventional learning models which can make children become bored quickly, so that children do not develop gross motor skills. So researchers use the bowling ball game in the hope that it can help children improve gross motor development in early childhood at RA Babul Ilmi Kampung Baru. This research aims to determine the effect of bowling in early childhood which can influence gross motor development in students at RA Babul Ilmi Kampung Baru Rantauprapat for the 2023-2024 academic year. The population of this study was all RA Babul Ilmi students, totaling 105 students spread across 4 classes. The sample for this research consisted of 30 students, consisting of two classes, namely the Mawar class as an experimental class with a total of 15 students, consisting of 9 girls and 6 boys. The control class is the jasmine class with 15 students, consisting of 9 girls and 6 boys. The method used to collect data is using student observation sheets. Based on hypothesis testing, the value of tcount = 3.319 is obtained, then compared with the value of t at the significant level α = 0.05 with dk = (N1+N2)-2 = 28 found in the table t = 1,701 because the value of tcount > t, namely 3.319 > 1.701, then H is rejected and H is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the bottle bowling game media is very effective in improving the gross motor skills of early childhood by RA Babul Ilmi students for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate and increase the creativity of young children through the implementation of puzzle games at the Satap Sibargot Kindergarten (TK) in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research method used was classroom action research with participants totaling 30 children aged 4-5 years. The research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In the first cycle, puzzle games were introduced as a learning medium to increase children's creativity. Observation results show an increase in children's interest and participation in puzzle activities. In the second cycle, the puzzle game is adapted to the child's level of cognitive complexity and variations in theme, taking into account individual preferences. Observations showed significant improvements in children's problem-solving abilities and creative expression. The findings of this research confirm that implementing puzzle games can be an effective strategy in increasing children's creativity in kindergarten. The practical implications of this research include recommendations for curriculum development and teacher training so that they can make optimal use of puzzle games as a means of creative learning for young children. Further research is also recommended to explore the long-term impact of efforts to increase children's creativity through puzzle games in formal education environments.

Abstract

The implementation of tasks in educational units is considered crucial to achieve the set targets. Tasks are assigned to systems deemed capable of executing them effectively. This study aims to analyze the role of the principal as a motivational factor in improving teacher performance at SMP Muhammadiyah 05 Medan. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques include interviews with key informants, observations, reference tracing, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while ensuring data validity standards are maintained. The results of this study indicate that the distribution of tasks in educational units must align with the individual expertise of each professional to ensure tasks are completed optimally and not neglected

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the difficulties faced by ELT students in pronunciating English vowels, especially those that are not pronounced correctly and consistently. The subjects of this research are English language education students. The study adopted a descriptive qualitative and then utilized observation and video recording techniques to observe and analyze students' pronunciation of English vowel words. Results indicate that there were 11 words mispronounced by students with a percentage of 50% of the word langgon, 17% of the word early, 8.3% of the word catch, 33% of the word ligament, 17% of the word fork, 17% of the word yeast, 8.3% of the word lake, 8.3% of the word harm. 8.3%, the word suffer 8.3%, and the word fool 8.3%. The data shows that students often have difficulty pronouncing vowels correctly. The study also highlights the influence of a student's native language on the pronunciation of English vowels and the importance of understanding phonetic symbols for accurate pronunciation. Based on these findings, the study suggests that ELT students should be provided with additional resources and support to improve their pronunciation skills, particularly in the area of vowels. Abstract

Ethics in education and training has an important role in forming individual character, morals and discipline, especially for teachers and educators. This research aims to examine ethics in education and training management (Diklat), ethics in education and training management, principles of education and training (diklat). This research uses a qualitative approach, which is also a literature study or library research method. Library research, also known as library research, is a type of research that involves collecting library data through a systematic process to collect, process, and summarize information with the aim of finding solutions to problems related to literature. This research approach is in line with previous research which used a library institution approach. Before reviewing library materials, researchers must know exactly where they will get scientific information from. The research results illustrate that ethics in education and training management is that the application of ethical principles is very important to create an educational environment that is fair, effective, and supports the development of all parties involved. Abstract

This article discusses the role of administrative officers in maintaining the quality of correspondence management at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. Effective and efficient correspondence management is an important aspect in school operations, because correspondence functions as an official communication tool that documents various activities and decisions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with administrative officers, direct observation and document analysis. The research results show that administrative officers at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan have a very vital role in managing the entire correspondence process, starting from receiving, recording, storing, to distributing letters. They are responsible for ensuring that every incoming and outgoing letter is managed well, according to established procedures, and neatly documented. Good quality of correspondence management is reflected in accuracy, timeliness and regularity in document archiving. Administrative officers also play a role in maintaining the confidentiality of information, preventing loss or damage to documents, and ensuring that important documents are available when needed. The implementation of information technology in correspondence management also supports the efficiency and effectiveness of their work, although there are still challenges in terms of training and adaptation to new systems. In conclusion, administrative officers play a key role in maintaining the quality of correspondence management at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. They ensure that the correspondence process runs smoothly and supports overall school operational activities. Therefore, increasing the competency of administrative officers and using appropriate technology is very necessary to continue to improve the quality of correspondence management in this educational institution.

Abstract

Packaging (kemasan) merupakan wadah yang digunakan untuk melindungi,membungkus dan menyimpan produk agar tetap utuh dan terjaga kualitasnya. Selainberfungsi sebagai pelindung produk dari kerusakan fisik, kontaminasi, dan kerusakan,packaging juga berfungsi untuk memudahkan transportasi, distribusi, identifikasi merek,memberikan informasi produk, sekaligus sebagai media promosi produk. Packaging bisaterbuat dari berbagai macam bahan, pemilihan bahan packaging harusnyamempertimbangkan terlebih dahulu karakteristik produk, keamanan, biaya, dan dampaklingkungan. Pisang Kapik Abang Sedap (PKAS) adalah usaha kuliner makanan pisangkapik khas Sumatera Barat yang diturunkan keluarga. Berdiri sejak 1990, terletak di JalanPermindo depan Hotel Garuda, Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat. PKAS menjual dalambentuk dan rasa original, berupa pisang yang di taburi gula pasir dan ditaburi parutan kelapaputih dan kelapa merah yang sudah dicampur dengan gula aren, dan varian topping untukpenguat rasa dan tampilan. Strategi yang digunakan dalam pemecahan masalah untukpencapaian tujuan penciptaan packaging PKAS adalah strategi visual yang menarik bentukstilasi buah pisang dengan bentuk kotak dengan penutup meruncing seperti piramid.Metode penciptaan yang digunakan adalah Glas Box (Kotak Kaca) yang dikembangkanoleh Sarwono dan Lubis (2007), prosesnya adalah keterbukaan dalam menciptakan karyadesain yang berdasarkan pada data observasi, wawancara di lapangan, mengumpulkanleterasi, merancang konsep desain, menciptakan karya desain berdasarkan konsep danmelakukan evaluasi untuk perubahan dalam pencapaian yang tepat sasaran. Khalayaksasaran yang dituju adalah masyarakat pecinta kuliner pisang kapik terutama yang beradadi Kota Padang. Maka dari metode yang sesuai target khalayak sasaran tersebut dihasilkansebuah bentuk packaging yang menarik dan produktif terhadap produsen UMKM PKASsendiri. Kemudian dipublikasikan melalui event Pameran Karya “Penciptaan PackagingDesign Pisang Kapik Abang Sedap”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Budaya Sekolah Dalam Menerapkan Pendidikan Karakter merupakan konsep yang menekankan pentingnya pembentukan karakter dan nilai-nilai positif pada siswa melalui lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan budaya sekolah yang mendorong pengembangan karakter siswa MTs Madrisatul Ikbar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informasi dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan penelitian dokumenter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Madrasah membentuk karakter peserta didik dengan menerapkan budaya sekolah. 2) Budaya sekolah yang diterapkan meliputi etika siswa terhadap guru, budaya memulai dan mengakhiri kelas, budaya kejujuran dan tanggung jawab terhadap diri sendiri dan orang lain, 3) Pembentukan karakter meliputi disiplin, religius, sikap peduli, jujur ​​dan tanggung jawab.
