Abstract

Guru merupakan sosok yang menjadi teladan, baik dari segi pengetahuan maupun kepribadian bagi peserta didiknya. Istilah Jawa memaparkan bahwa guru merupakan orang yang dapat diteladani dan dapat ditiru. Maka dari itu, guru tidak hanya dituntut untuk menguasai ilmu yang akan diajarkan, memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengajar, tetapi guru juga dituntut untuk memiliki akhlak, karakter dan kepribadian yang sesuai dalam ajaran islam bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena pendidikan karakter itu benarbenar diperlukan tidak hanya di sekolah tetapi juga di rumah dan di lingkungan sosial. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini deskripsi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa guru memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab yang kompleks terhadap pencapaian tujuan pendidikan, karena guru menjadi sumber inspirasi dan motivasi baik dalam pendidikan maupun karakter bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdefrensiasi sudah menjadi trend dunia,Upayanya pendidikan modern untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar setiap siswasetiap siswa yang berbeda.Meskipun konsep ini telah dipromisikan secara luas,penerapanya di kelas masih menjadi tantangan bagibanyak guru.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengedintifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam menerapkan pengajaranyang berbeda dan strategi yang mereka gunakan untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut.Dalam penelitian ini,kami mewancarai seorangguru dari berbagai tingkat pendidikan diwawancarai dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif.Temuan peneliti ini menyeroti beberapatantangan besar seperti materi yang lebih komples,dan kurangnya waktu.Namun guru juga mengembangkan strategi yang berbeda,seperti penggunaan teknologi,berkolaborasi dengan guru lain,dan perencanaan yang matang.Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi para professional pendidikan dan membuat kebijakan ketika mereka berupaya memfasilitasi penerapan pengajaran yang berbedadi kelas secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

The research conducted at MAN 2 MODEL Medan aimed to assess the listening comprehension abilities of eleventh-grade students during the academic year 2024/2025. Utilizing a descriptive quantitative research design, data was collected through a listening comprehension test administered to Class XI F1D students. The test covered various topics, each with a set of multiple-choice questions. Analysis of the test results revealed an average listening comprehension ability of 83.6, categorized as good based on predetermined criteria. Further classification of student achievement demonstrated that the majority of students exceeded the minimum standards, with only a small percentage falling below. These findings indicate a positive outcome in students' listening abilities and highlight the effectiveness of listening comprehension tests in assessing language skills. This research contributes to understanding the current state of listening comprehension skills among eleventh-grade students at MAN 2 MODEL Medan.

Abstract

(Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) merupakan sebuah inisiatif yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di Indonesia. Program ini dirancang untuk mempersiapkan guru agar lebih siap menghadapi berbagai tantangan pendidikan di era modern dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis praktik yang intensif. Dalam program PPG, peserta didik dilatih untuk menguasai berbagai kompetensi esensial dalam bidang pendidikan, seperti kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian. Program ini melibatkan kegiatan-kegiatan seperti perkuliahan, lokakarya, magang, dan evaluasi kinerja yang komprehensif. Dengan demikian, program ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan guru yang lebih terampil dalam merancang dan melaksanakan proses pembelajaran yang efektif, kreatif, dan inovatif. Selain itu, PPG diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia secara keseluruhan dengan mencetak tenaga pendidik yang tidak hanya ahli dalam bidang mereka, tetapi juga mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan siswa yang terus berubah.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has issued various regulations regulating teacher competency with the aim of improving the quality of education. This regulation covers four aspects of teacher competence: pedagogical, personality, professional and social. Pedagogical competence is the teacher's ability to plan, implement and evaluate learning. Personality competency is related to the moral and ethical qualities that a teacher must have. Professional competence relates to a teacher's ability to guide learning and personal development. Social skills relate to the teacher's ability to build relationships with students, parents and the community. This regulation has several important implications for teachers, educational institutions and the government. For teachers, these rules serve as guidelines for developing personal skills. For educational institutions, this regulation is the basis for developing teacher training programs. For the government, this regulation is a tool to monitor and improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The research was conducted regarding the close relationship between a student, namely the teacher, and his students. In the teaching and learning process, it is necessary to approach students so that they are willing to listen to the aims and objectives conveyed by the teacher. The approach process used is not easy, a teacher must master the students he is teaching and how the teacher can channel the positive impacts that will occur. In this approach, communication is very necessary. For this reason, a teacher’s interpersonal communication must be able to bring students to a critical mindset, a way of communicating with other people, and being able to master the lesson. With open communication between teachers and students, students will feel cared for and can be open about things that are considered important to discuss. In terms of approach, communiacation is very important and is even the main factor in an approach. Good communication can create a good relationship with the perpetrator. Communication aims to build relationships between teachers and students, building a sense of trust, mutual openness, and so on. Interpersonal relationships in interactive learning have an important role in increasing students enthusiasm for learning. Therefore, interpersonal relationships in interactive learning are very important to encourage students learning abilities to achieve maximum learning goals

Abstract

The current rapid development of digital technology has changed the educational landscape significantly. In this era of globalization, the role of teachers is becoming increasingly strategic in preparing future generations. Teacher quality is the key to ensuring the effectiveness and relevance of education amidst the dynamics of an ever-developing era. In line with this, education managers must provide a positive response by continuing to improve the quality of the education programs offered. This research aims to uncover teacher competency needs in the digital era, with a focus on the strategies needed to improve the quality of teacher education. The research method used is literature analysis and case studies. Data was collected from various relevant literature sources, as well as through case studies involving teachers who actively use digital technology in the learning process. The research results show that in the current digital era, teachers need to develop various competencies, such as the ability to use technology, interpersonal communication, and innovative learning strategies. Improving the quality of teacher education needs to be encouraged through the development of training programs that strengthen these competencies. The conclusion of this research is that to face the demands of the digital era, teachers need to have strong competencies, and the development of these competencies needs to be supported through appropriate strategies in teacher education programs.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the principal's strategy in increasing the attractiveness of the school and the number of new students at SWT Primary School Middle School. This research uses a qualitative method, namely a research approach that focuses on understanding phenomena based on the perspective of the subject being studied. This research uses observation and interview techniques. The results of this research show that the main strategy used to increase the school's attractiveness and the number of new students involves active promotion and physical improvement of the school. Promotion is carried out directly by visiting the homes of elementary school graduates and using social media intensively. Apart from that, efforts to improve school facilities are also considered important to attract new students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research analyzes the effectiveness of implementing extracurricular programs in developing students' interests and talents. With a qualitative descriptive approach and involving interviews, observation, and documentation, this research found that successful programs have clear goals, active student participation, and consistent support from parents and teachers. The program provides space for exploratory interests, builds additional skills, and increases student engagement. These findings highlight the importance of designing extracurricular programs that are inclusive, diverse, and focus on the unique potential of each student, by instilling positivity in elementary school development. This analysis shows that implementing effective extracurricular programs allows students to grow and develop holistically, including aspects of interests and talents that may not be fully explored in the academic curriculum. Extracurricular programs also help improve students' social, communication and work skills. However, this analysis also found several challenges faced in implementing extracurricular programs, such as lack of funding, lack of facilities and guaranteed student participation.

Abstract

The focus of the problem in this research is to cover the influence of extracurricular activities and character that can be developed through extracurricular activities at SMAS Al Washliyah Tanjung Morawa. This research aims to determine the influence of extracurricular activities at SMAS Al Washliyah Tanjung Morawa on the formation of student character and what characters can be developed through extracurricular activities in the school environment. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach as a methodological framework. A qualitative approach was chosen to deepen understanding of the observed phenomena, explore subjective aspects, and explore meaning from participant perspectives. This method allows researchers to understand the context, relationships and dynamics that arise in the research context. Based on the research results, information related to how extracurricular activities can influence the formation of student character at SMAS Al Washliyah Tanjung Morawa, highlights the importance of extracurricular activities in forming student character. The Ministry of Education and Culture pays special attention to character education, and extracurricular activities in schools are a forum for developing students' character. Information related to character that can be developed through extracurricular activities in the school environment, especially at SMAS Al Washliyah Tanjung Morawa. It can be concluded that extracurricular activities play a role which is very significant in shaping student character. This research shows that participation in extracurricular activities has a real positive impact on various aspects of students' character development. Students who are active in extracurricular activities show an increase in their talents and interests, which has an impact on increasing self-confidence and motivation to learn
