Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is considered one of the main pillars in shaping Islamic character among students. This education involves conscious efforts to convey, guide, and teach the values of Islam so that students can understand, internalize, and practice Islamic teachings in their daily lives. This article utilizes the library research method, drawing on various journal references and books that discuss Islamic Religious Education as a character builder. In this context, Islamic Religious Education is expected to play a significant role in shaping a society with strong moral responsibility and Islamic character. It is a long-term investment to create individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also possess noble character in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

A leader is a person who stands in front of every institution or organization he leads, a leader who is trustworthy, sincere, visionary and always makes changes for the better. In the scope of the school, the principal is a leader who is digugu and imitated every action and behavior. This research uses a literature study method that analyzes several journal references as a reference in determining a good school principal. The purpose of this research is to study and analyze the results of previous findings related to the role of the principal in motivating the habituation of dhuha prayer and fardhu prayer in congregation to improve the discipline of students. Based on the results of the reference analysis, it shows that a principal has an important role in the running of a program held at school. Doing the habituation of dhuha prayer and fardhu prayer together with direct monitoring by the principal is very effective so that students run it with discipline.

Abstract

The Batagak Penghulu tradition in Minangkabau can be considered as a form of integration between traditional and Islamic values, where Islamic principles are the basis for implementing this tradition. In this tradition, religious values and Islamic teachings are reflected in various aspects, such as the election of leaders, the deliberation process, and cooperation in order to achieve goodness and justice. The process of selecting the headman involves the participation of all components of society, demonstrating the principle of deliberation recommended in Islam. The chosen leader must meet leadership criteria in accordance with Islamic teachings, such as being honest, trustworthy, wise, and able to convey teachings well. The Qur'an also emphasizes the importance of just leadership and dual responsibility towards Allah SWT and society. The concept of deliberation, explained in the Qur'an, provides the basis for decision making in the traditional Batagak Penghulu process. This deliberation process not only reflects traditional values, but is also in line with Islamic principles which encourage justice, togetherness and problem solving through consensus. Through qualitative research methods and content analysis, this research provides an in-depth understanding of the integration between custom and Islam in the Batagak Penghulu tradition. The Batagak Penghulu tradition in Minangkabau reflects the harmonization between traditional values and Islamic teachings. The process of appointing the headman, deliberation, leadership and cooperation in this tradition shows harmony with the Islamic principles contained in the Al-Qur'an. This tradition is not only a unique cultural heritage, but also a manifestation of community life that is firmly rooted in Islamic religious values.

Abstract

Islamic education planning has become a crucial element in efforts to enhance relevant and high-quality education in line with the current era's developments. In this modern age, the traditional paradigm in Islamic education planning is insufficient to meet contemporary demands. The new paradigm aims as a step towards the renewal and improvement of Islamic education. The approach of the new paradigm in Islamic education planning can encompass various aspects, including: First, a broader and more efficient integration of information technology. Second, the development of a more contemporary curriculum that is relevant to global challenges. Third, active participation in the community and the implementation of educational plans. Fourth, assigning a greater role to Islamic education in creating positive transformations in the education system. With the introduction of the new paradigm, the goal is to enhance the quality and values of Islamic education.

Abstract

This research analyzes how qaul qadim and how ijtihad are viewed by Imam Syafi'i which is studied from several aspects, namely from historical, social and Islamic legal aspects. This research has the main aim of examining how qaul qadim is from a historical perspective, namely how history was formed and the birth of qaul qadim and then how social changes and Islamic law have affected qaul qadim which was mandated by one of the fiqh scholars, namely Imam Syafi'i, in establishing Islamic law. This research is research with a normative theological approach, namely a theological-normative approach, namely by looking at the texts of the Koran and al-Hadith which are the main sources in determining Islamic law and this type of research. The sociological approach is research whose object of study is seen in terms of different fatwa factors. different to accommodate legal problems that arise at this time and require ijtihad, then Islamic law will do it. This research shows that qaul qadim and ijtihad carried out by Imam Syafi'i are influenced by various factors in their determination, including social, political, cultural, geographical and scientific factors which influence the dynamics of legal determinations carried out by mujtahids like Imam Syafi'i.

Abstract

The development of methods for interpreting the Quran has evolved from the time of Prophet Muhammad SAW to the present modern era. During the time of the Prophet, the interpretation of the Quran was carried out directly by him and his companions with a relatively straightforward understanding. However, as time passed, the methods of interpretation underwent significant developments. Initially, the interpretation of the Quran was done directly from oral sources and was not well-documented. However, after the Prophet's passing, the companions began to develop more systematic methods of interpreting the Quran. They utilized the direct understanding from the Prophet as well as the social and cultural context of that time. Subsequently, during the era of the Tabi'in (the generation after the companions), the methods of interpretation continued to evolve with more detailed explanations and interpretations. The Tabi'in scholars sought to elaborate on the meanings and messages of the Quran in greater detail, both in linguistic and historical contexts. The development of interpretation methods continued in the following periods. In the contemporary and modern era, many interpretation books have been compiled by contemporary scholars. The methods of interpretation used encompass linguistic, historical, contextual, and philosophical approaches to the Quran. Modern scholars combine scientific knowledge and methodologies with traditional understanding to better comprehend the Quran.

Abstract

Artikel ini meninjau mengenai implikasi pendidikan islam berdasarkan gagasan pemikiran K.H. Ahmad Dahlan mengenai pembentukan karakter pada era globalisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu melalui studi literature. Data dalam artikel ini diperoleh melalui literature berupa jurnal online, buku, dan sumber online lainnya. Hasil pembahasan menunjukan bahwa Pendidikan Islam dalam era globalisasi di Indonesia menurut pemikiran KH. Ahmad Dahlan yaitu pendidikan adalah sebagai salah satu variable penting atau utama dalam meningkatkan karakter kritis dan bebas, serta toleran. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implikasi atau keterlibatan K.H. Ahmad Dahlan dalam mengemukakan pemikirannya terhadap pendidikan islam serta karakter peserta didik pada era globalisasi. Usaha-usaha yang dijalankan beliau dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik melewati pendidikan islam adalah dengan mengajarkan sikap hidup toleran, karena beliau ingin mengurangi atau bahkan menghindari konflik sosial dan politik yang bersumber atas kehidupan keagamaan. Abstract

This article discusses the leadership of the Khulafaur Rashidin, namely the reigns of Abu Bakr, Umar bin Khattab, Uthman bin Affan, and Ali bin Abi Talib, from the appointment of the caliph to the leadership period and the end of the caliphate, using qualitative methods and review paper research. The results of this study indicate that the caliphs considered the best are Abu Bakr for his constancy, Umar for his firmness, Uthman for his success in writing the Quran and the rebellion at the end of his leadership, and Ali for suppressing the rebellion with a strong spirit.

Abstract

Marriage is a sacred bond that unites two individuals with the support of society and religious organizations. However, in the ever-changing social dynamics, the phenomenon of early child marriage has become a big problem in Indonesia. This article examines the increase in marriage applications in Religious Courts as a result of social changes that conflict with the rights of children and adults. Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage sets the minimum age limit for marriage. This change has a significant impact on children's basic rights as well as their physical and psychological development. The author also examines the impact of implementing the revised minimum age for marriage policy in 2019 on the rate of child marriage in Indonesia. The research method we use is a normative legal approach in terms of methodology. By considering these issues, this research provides an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing the marriage system in Indonesia as well as the social and regulatory changes that may impact efforts to overcome these challenges.

Abstract

Conflict doesn't only occur in a society or organizational group; it can also arise within each individual. Dealing with conflict requires accurate handling through conflict management. By examining and delving into conflict management strategies, it can help minimize conflicts in society, organizations, and educational institutions. This study aims to examine conflict management strategies from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. This study employs a qualitative approach with literature study/data collection techniques originating from books, articles, and journals that discuss conflict management strategies from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. The study's findings indicate that conflict management is a strategy for groups, organizations, and individuals to anticipate disputes and disagreements among individuals. Conflicts can stem from human and organizational factors. Approaches that can be implemented in conflict include using compromising styles, avoiding styles, dominating styles, following the will, and collaborative styles. Conflict management strategies that can be implemented from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith include negotiation, verification, consultation, arbitration, and reconciliation.
