Abstract

This study aims to determine: the influence of happiness on the welfare of the Indonesian people, the influence of education on the welfare of the Indonesian people, the influence of food security on the welfare of the Indonesian people, the influence of access to information and communication technology on the welfare of the people in Indonesia, Simultaneous tests show that each independent variable has an effect on the dependent variable. This study uses secondary data from the Indonesia Family Life Survey Wave 4 (IFLS-4) and wave 5 (IFLS-5) surveys in 2007 and 2014 which will be used as panel data in this study. The number of panel samples in IFLS-4 and IFLS-5 is 8,170 household members. The data to be analyzed includes happiness, education, food security, and access to information and communication technology. This study uses the Ordered Probit analysis method with the help of the Stata-17 application. The results of the study show that each variable has a different influence. Happiness has a positive and significant influence on the welfare of the Indonesian people, education has a negative and significant influence on the welfare of the Indonesian people, food security has a positive and significant influence on the welfare of the Indonesian people, access to information and communication technology has a negative and significant influence on the welfare of the Indonesian people, and Simultaneous tests show that each independent variable has an influence on the dependent variable.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of digital learning media based on I Spring Suite 11 to assess: 10 t he feasibility of the digital learning media based on I Spring Suite 11; 2) the improvement of student interest in learning Economics at SMA Negeri 11 Malinau; and 3) the improvement of student learning outcomes in Economics at SMA Negeri 11 Malinau.The research method used is research and development (R&D) through the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model with quasi-experimental analysis. The subjects of the research were 10 students from grade X at SMA Negeri 11 Malinau. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires given to media experts, material experts, and teaching practitioners (Economics teachers) to validate the questionnaire instruments and student responses to the digital learning media using the same questionnaires and pretest-posttest learning outcome tests.The research findings are as follows: 1) The feasibility of the I Spring Suite 11-based digital learning media was evaluated by material experts with a score of 78%, categorized as "Feasible"; by media experts with a score of 80%, categorized as "Feasible"; and by teaching practitioners with a score of 85%, categorized as "Highly Feasible." The analysis of the scores showed that the material and media experts' evaluations fell within the "feasible" range (38 ≤ 2)There was a 50.86% increase in student interest in learning, with a pretest average score of 58 and a posttest average score of 91, which meets the product's effectiveness criteria. Based on the pretest-posttest analysis of student interest, the N-gain test resulted in a score of 0.5, which is categorized as "moderate" and falls into the "Good" category. The analysis of the ideal mean score (Mi) showed a value of 50 ≤ X, which means the I Spring Suite 11-based digital learning media is effective for use in the Economics subject. 3)There was a 46.8% improvement in student learning outcomes, with a pretest average score of 54 and a posttest average score of 85 after using the I Spring Suite 11-based digital learning media. Based on the pretest-posttest analysis, the N-gain score was 0.47, which is categorized as "moderate," indicating that the learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes in Economics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' entrepreneurial interest as a mediation of the influence of entrepreneurship education, digital literacy and social media on the success of student entrepreneurs at FEB UNY. This study is a comparative causal research with a quantitative approach. The subjects of the study were PE FEB UNY students. The population was 175 and the sample was 122. The sampling technique was probability sampling. Data analysis used path analysis. Results of the study; There is a positive and significant influence of entrepreneurship education, digital literacy, social media on students' entrepreneurial interest. There is a negative and significant influence of entrepreneurship education, digital literacy, social media on the success of student entrepreneurs. There is a positive and significant influence of students' entrepreneurial interest on the success of student entrepreneurs. There is a significant influence of entrepreneurship education, digital literacy, social media on the success of student entrepreneurs through the mediation of students' entrepreneurial interest. The success of student entrepreneurs does not only depend on the resources they have, but how these resources are managed and utilized, especially through high entrepreneurial interest. Entrepreneurship education provides knowledge and skills, while digital literacy and social media provide tools to access information and reach markets. Entrepreneurial interest serves as a link that optimizes the use of these resources, enabling students to be more proactive and innovative in running their businesses

Abstract

This descriptive research aims to shed light the general portrait of the utilization of EnglishScore as an international standardized test. It also intends to describe the test takers’ insights on the use of EnglishScore application. Eighty-two participants involved in this study. Questionnaire was employed to collect the data. The data were analyzed by Miles, et al Model consisting of collection, classification, description, and conclusion. The results imply that EnglishScore is an ideal and innovative English test and it is valid to use to measure the test takers’ English proficiency level since it is aligned with CEFR. Thus, it facilitates a better understanding and achievement of the test takers’ English proficiency.

Abstract

One of the main components of the independent curriculum is character and numeracy learning. These two components are among the abilities that elementary school students must have. The aim of this research is to look at problems in learning numeracy and character literacy which are requirements for making learning products. This research is qualitative and uses interviews and observations. The subjects of this research were teachers and students of class IV SDN 060970 Medan Belawan. The results of data analysis show that this research focuses on three main themes: lack of teaching materials to improve numeracy literacy skills, lack of numeracy literacy training, and behavioral problems related to character. Future researchers can use the findings of this research to assess the need to create learning models, learning modules, and teacher guidebooks that aim to improve students' numeracy skills and character.

Abstract

Literacy is an individual's ability to manage and understand information through reading and writing activities. This skill is closely related to language skills because it includes aspects of speaking, reading, writing, counting and problem-solving skills. In other words, literacy includes language abilities and skills, including reading, writing, speaking, counting, and problem solving at a certain level needed in everyday life. This research uses a literature study approach as the main method of data collection. In the process, the researcher conducted an in-depth study and understanding of various relevant theories from literature sources.Today, in the digital era, digital literacy is a very important ability for elementary school students to have. The development of information and communication technology has changed learning methods, so it is important that students have sufficient ability to access, evaluate and use digital information effectively. Digital literacy of primary school students includes various important elements. First, digital literacy enables students to develop skills in utilizing digital technology, including surfing the internet, understanding hardware and software, and using productivity applications. Second, digital literacy teaches students about the safety and ethical aspects of using technology, such as maintaining online privacy, protecting personal data and avoiding cyberbullying.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of education as a moderation variable in the relationship between financial literacy and social environment on the consumption behavior of Gen Z in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive quantitative method. The study sample consisted of 400 Gen Z respondents aged 14-29 years, selected using purposive sampling through questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS) with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the SmartPLS 4.0 application. The results showed that financial literacy significantly influences consumption behavior (p-Value 0.001 < 0.05), while the social environment does not have a significant influence (p-Value 0.105 > 0.05). Additionally, education does not moderate the relationship between financial literacy and consumption behavior (p-Value 0.635 > 0.05) or the relationship between the social environment and consumption behavior (p-Value 0.244 > 0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the magnitude of the direct and indirect influence of the effectiveness of organizational culture, laboratory assistant problem-solving ability, and Motivation on laboratory assistant performance. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey design. The population of lecturers was 608 and laboratory assistants 15, while the sample of lecturers 132 and laboratory assistants 15 were taken by purposive sampling. Data was collected through a Likert scale questionnaire, which was then analyzed using path analysis. The study's results showed that: 1) organizational culture directly affects laboratory assistant performance. This can be seen from the significance value of 0.000 <0.05. In addition, the t_count value = 11.254 > t_table = 1.970; 2) laboratory assistant problem-solving ability directly affects laboratory assistant performance. This can be seen from the significance value of 0.045 <0.05. In addition, the t_count value = 2.224 > t_table = 1.970; 3) The laboratory assistant's Motivation directly affects the laboratory assistant's performance. This can be seen from the significance value of 0.034 <0.05. In addition, the t_count value = 2.366 > t_table = 1.970; 4) Organizational Culture and the laboratory assistant's problem-solving ability simultaneously affect the laboratory assistant's performance. This can be seen from the significance of 0.031 <0.05; 5) There is a simultaneous influence of Organizational Culture and Motivation on the performance of the laboratory assistant, this can be seen from the significance value of 0.023 <0.05; 6) There is no simultaneous influence of the problem-solving ability of the laboratory assistant and Motivation on the performance of the laboratory assistant, this can be seen from the significance value of 0.116 > 0.05; 7) the problem-solving ability of the laboratory assistant has a direct effect on the work motivation of the laboratory assistant, this can be seen from the significance value of 0.000 <0.05. In addition, the t_count value = 10.595 > t_table = 1.970; 8) Organizational Culture does not have a positive effect on Motivation. This can be seen from the significance value of 0.252 > 0.05. In addition, the t_count value = -1.199 < t_table = 1.970; 9) There is a simultaneous influence of Organizational Culture and the problem-solving ability of laboratory assistants on Motivation, this can be seen from the significance of 0.00 < 0.05; 10) There is a simultaneous influence of Organizational Culture, problem-solving ability of laboratory assistants and Motivation on Laboratory Assistant Performance. This can be seen from the significance of 0.050 = 0.05.These results provide the conclusion that organizational culture, laboratory assistant problem-solving ability and Motivation have a direct and simultaneous effect on laboratory assistant performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership and work motivation on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Agung. The research method used is quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to teachers as research respondents. The results of the analysis show that the leadership of the principal has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. In addition, work motivation also contributes significantly to improving teacher performance. Simultaneously, the principal's leadership and work motivation have a significant effect on teacher performance. The implications of this study show that improving the quality of school principals' leadership and work motivation can be an effective strategy in improving teacher performance in the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the principal's managerial skills in developing a religious culture at SD Negeri 15 Air Kumbang. The method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that the Management of the Principal of SD Negeri 15 Air Kumbang in developing a religious culture is through planning, organizing, implementing, supervising and evaluating. The management carried out by the Principal of SD Negeri 15 Air Kumbang includes: first, the implementation of daily activities in the form of: providing exemplary behavior/examples, reprimands/advice, conditioning the environment that supports character education, routine activities/character habits, and mentoring and supervision activities for character education. Second, the management of the principal of SD Negeri 15 Air Kumbang through programmed activities in the form of: Imtaq activities before starting lessons and completing the Al-Quran every month, dhuha prayer activities, dzuhur prayers in congregation. Third, the Management of the Principal of SD Negeri 15 Air Kumbang through learning activities. In learning activities, religious culture must be implemented which includes the preparation of plans and learning tools that contain religious values.
