Abstract

Horticulture can be interpreted as one of the agricultural subsectors that bridges the gap between production and consumption in Indonesian society. Horticultural commodities consist of vegetables, fruit, ornamental plants and medicinal plants. One of the horticultural commodities is mushrooms. Mushroom commodities have quite high consumption value in Indonesia. The demand for mushrooms continues to increase, but the availability of inputs is still inadequate and farmers still rely on marketing institutions, which is still an obstacle for mushroom entrepreneurs to meet consumer demand. Based on these problems, it is necessary to add mushroom cages so that the level of mushroom productivity continues to increase and an efficient marketing channel is needed so that all actors involved in the marketing channel can benefit each other. Research uses qualitative and quantitative methods. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. The analysis results from the business feasibility study can be run properly and inefficient marketing channels are found in channel 3.

Effective compensation management is a key factor for the success and sustainability of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This study aims to analyze the implementation of adhered and overlapping compensation management at XYZ SME in Subang Regency, West Java. Data were collected through questionnaire surveys, interviews, and documentation studies related to compensation policies and employee salary structures. Data analysis included salary mapping using the adhered and overlapping methods, and job evaluation using the Eckenrode system. The results showed that the majority of employees of XYZ receive basic salaries below the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) and Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK). The implementation of adhered and overlapping compensation management is expected to improve the internal fairness of the compensation system and provide ideal salary recommendations for employees. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for similar SMEs in optimizing compensation strategies to maintain competitiveness, increase satisfaction, and boost employee productivity.

Abstract

One of the families of the Rutaceae family is the orange. But only three categories are mandarin, big orange, and lemon orange that are considered genuine orange. Citrus aurantifolia, lemon (Citrus limon L.), and lemon orange (Citrus jambhiri) are cross-fruit fruits of the original orange. The purpose of this research is to find out the variety of species and morphology of citrus plants (Citrus sp) that are in the Jabong region, Subang, West Java. The methods used in this research include field surveys, qualitative methods and descriptive methods of morphological analysis to determine existing species and varieties. Research results show that the Subang region has a significant diversity of the Citrus sp. family, with the discovery of several species such as Citrus aurantiifolia, Citrus limon, and Citrus jambhiri. (jeruk limau). Morphological analysis reveals variations in the size, shape, and color of the fruit. Such diversity demonstrates the great potential to produce superior orange cultivars of high commercial value and environmental adaptability to local conditions.

Abstract

Eco enzyme is an organic waste liquid product produced from the fermentation process. Eco enzyme's functions include cleaning vegetables and fruit, cleaning floors, repelling insects and being able to fertilize plants. Eco enzyme has benefits for cleaning because of the acetic acid and alcohol contained in the liquid. The aim of this research is to find out the process of making Eco Enzyme and to find out the benefits of Eco Enzyme organic fertilizer, to find out the results of the nutrient content of the eco enzyme product. This research method is data collection techniques. The data source in this research is a secondary data source, in the form of documentation in the form of photos and videos in the process of making eco enzyme.

Abstract

Organic fertilizer is very important in efforts to improve soil fertility naturally and safely, in the broadest sense of being free from chemicals that are harmful to human health, therefore this organic fertilizer is very safe for consumption. This research was carried out in a housing complex on Jl. Tombak, Medan Tembung District, Medan City, North Sumatra. The research method used in this research is the experimental and observation method. The aim of this research is to determine the content of organic fertilizer made from mixed waste of onion skins and garlic skins with used rice water washing. And the results of the research that has been carried out show that the organic fertilizer that the researchers made failed due to several factors, such as perhaps there being onion skins that had rotted and should not be used and also the fermentation process time was too long, so it did not meet the required standards. Apart from that, when filtering to remove onion skin waste, the liquid fertilizer the researchers made smelled pungent and rotten.

Abstract

The Garryaceae family is referred to as one of the Cornaceae groups or dicotyledonous plants. Garrya is an evergreen shrub or small tree that bears male flowers. Garraceae is also a shrub that contains alkaloids. Aucuba japonica or what is often referred to as Japanese Laurel is a shrub with unique colored leaves that have spots. Research on the Garryaceae family is still rare, therefore researchers conducted research on the Garryaceae family, especially on the Aucuba japonica species. This research was conducted to analyze the characteristics of the leaves and stems of Aucuba japonica in the Cibiru District area, Bandung City, especially at the Biological Gardens of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This analysis was carried out using exploration methods and literature studies related to Aucuba japonica. The research results showed that there were 37 Aucuba japonica species in the biological garden area of UIN Sunang Gunung Djati Bandung. The characteristic shape of the leaves is oval or elliptical with tapered or blunt tips. The edges of the leaves have a serrated or curved shape with wavy edges. The base of the leaves is round or tapered. The arrangement of the leaves has pinnate veins that branch and spread throughout the leaf blade. the flesh of the leaves is thick and leathery. The surface of the leaves is shiny and smooth, while the stem has woody characteristics (lignosus), the surface of the stem is rough and has a hard texture. Abstract

Butterfly pea (Clitoria ternatea L.) is a type of ornamental plant characterized by flowers in shades of purple, blue, pink, and white. Besides being an ornamental plant, butterfly pea is also commonly used in traditional medicine. Several previous studies have confirmed its health benefits. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct phytochemical screening for flavonoids, saponins, and alkaloids using the Wilstater method, foam test, Dragendorff’s reagent, and Wagner's test. This study demonstrates the presence of flavonoid, saponin, and alkaloid compounds in butterfly pea flowers, indicated by positive results in various tests conducted.
