Abstract

Indonesia has experienced several curriculum changes from 1947 to 2013. These changes are related to how important and strategic the role of the curriculum is in implementing the national teaching system. The 2013 curriculum is an integrated competency and character-based curriculum which is a refinement of the Education Unit Level Curricum (KTSP). The 2013 curriculum places more emphasis on character education, especially at the basic level, which will become the foundation for the next level. This research is descriptive quantitative research which aims to describe or create an objective picture of a situation, starting from data collection and answering the research questions that have been asked. Descriptive quantitative research also aims to obtain broader and deeper information by summarizing various conditions, situations, phenomena, or various variables and circumstances that occurred during the research by presenting what actually happened. The research results show that the obstacles in implementing the 2013 Curriculum come from the government, institutions, teachers and students. This seems to be appropriate that there are several factors that influence implementing the curriculum, namely: support from agencies and school principals, support from fellow teachers, support from students and parents, and support from within the teacher are the main elements. When the elements above encounter obstacles, they will certainly hinder the process of implementing a curriculum.

Abstract

Learning strategy refers to an educator planning a series of activities designed to achieve learning goals. It involves the use of various methods, techniques, and approaches to organize the learning process. The strategy must be in accordance with the needs and characteristics of students. In the educational context, learning strategies are the basis for teachers in designing effective and meaningful learning experiences for students. This includes selecting subject matter, determining appropriate strategies, and the required learning media. Digital-based technology in learning in elementary schools is a very useful advancement in the learning and teaching process where there are digital aspects of resource books, assignments, assessments and student attendance books that can be used in the school environment and become preschool infrastructure. And digital technology is a more effective communication tool when designing a more student-oriented environment where teachers can develop creative skills in digital science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena diduga guru belum bisa menerapkan metode drill sepenuhnya. Terdapat kejanggalan, baik itu ketika menerapkannya ataupun dari segi penggunaan langkah-langkahnya. Ditemukan kendala atau hambatan yang nantinya akan berdampak kepada tujuan pembelajaran yang tidak tercapai. Yang mana guru seharusnya aktif menciptakan situasi dan kondisi kelas yang optimal, mengelola kelas sebaik mungkin dengan itu seorang guru memiliki jiwa yang kompeten serta siswa aktif untuk mengerjakan tugas atau menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan. Untuk itu guru harus aktif untuk memperoleh, mempelajari serta mengembangkan metode yang akan digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan juga bisa menerapkan dan mengaplikasikannya dengan benar. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian lapangan (field Reseach) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun yang menjadi sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran Al-Quran Hadits, sedangkan informan pendukungnya adalah kepala sekolah dan peserta didik kelas XI IPS 2 MAN 2 Agam. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi yaitu pengamatan secara langsung bagaimana penerapan metode drill dilaksanakan. Serta wawancara langsung ditujukan kepada guru dan peserta didik sebagai informan pendukung. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah penulis lakukan di kelas XI IPS 2 MAN 2 Agam penerapan metode drill yang dilakukan seharusnya sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang telah ditentukan, namun guru belum bisa menerapkan metode drill sepenuhnya. Hal ini terlihat dari bagaimana guru menerapkan metode ini. Langkah-langkah penerapan metode drill yang berada di lapangan belum sesuai dengan yang telah direncanakan dalam rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Dan juga terdapat hambatan baik itu dari fasilitas, kurangnya waktu serta penguasaan guru terhadap metode yang kurang maksimal dan keaktifan siswa yang masih kurang sehingga metode yang diberikan tidak terlaksana dengan maksimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rendahnya hasil ujian tengah semester siswa di kelas VIII B di SMPN 05 Lembang Jaya tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Dalam hasil ujian tersebut terdapat 25 siswa namun hanya 1 orang siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan, yang mana untuk kriteria ketuntasan di SMPN 05 Lembang jaya adalah 75. Slah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMPN 05 Lembang Jaya adalah dengan menerapkan penggunaan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajarn Pendidikan Agama Islam. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah hasil belajar pendidikan agama isalam dengan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik lebih baik dari pada pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pendekatan konvensional di kelas VIII SMPN 05 Lembang Jaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yaitu Non-equivalen Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji-t. Dari uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung 2,01 > ttabel 1,68 maka H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Software Minitab diperoleh P-value 0,02 < α 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa “ Hasil Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik lebih baik dari pada hasil pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VIII SMPN 05 Lembang Jaya tahun pelajaran 2023/2024”.

Abstract

Bullying is very common in the school environment because it can disrupt students' learning at school. Schools, especially guidance and counseling teachers, have an important role in ensuring that students or students avoid bullying so that they are able to learn effectively and efficiently. Students who have an understanding of the dangers of bullying will have a greater opportunity to avoid levels of bullying and understand the dangers of bullying. This research also aims to ensure that students can find out that there is an increase in understanding of the dangers of bullying through classical guidance for class VIII students at SMPN 1 Sungai Pua for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research shows that after being given classical guidance services, more than half of the students can understand the dangers of being in the very high category. In the high category with a frequency of 6 it was 18.75%, in the medium category the frequency of 3 was 9.375%, in the low category the number of 0 was 0%, in the very low category with a frequency of 0 it was 0%. Thus, it can be concluded that classical guidance is an effective and innovative strategy to increase the understanding of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Sungai Pua regarding the dangers of bullying. The results of this research can be used as reference material for guidance and counseling teachers to increase understanding of the dangers of bullying in students through classical guidance services.

Abstract

In the learning process every learner is always directed to become an independent student, and to become independent an individual must learn, so that learning independence can be achieved. This article analyzes the role of teachers in increasing students’ learning independence at SDN 064976 Medan. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. It was collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study concluded that the role of teachers in increasing students' learning independence at SDN 064976 Medan is by carrying out their professional duties of teachers who have multiple roles contained in teaching and learning activities. The role of the teacher as a mentor must be more important, because the presence of a teacher in school is to guide students to become good adult humans who are capable, skilled, virtuous and noble.

Abstract

The use of the veil at the Ushuluddin Faculty is analyzed as a religious practice that involves factors such as religious teachings, environment, and personal motivation. The factor of religious teachings is the main driver, with female students viewing the veil as a religious commandment that must be obeyed as a form of devotion to Allah. The Koran instructs Muslim women to wear the hijab by wearing a headscarf that can cover their head and chest, but there are different opinions regarding this. the verse. The proposed research method involves interviews and literature searches with a qualitative approach. The aim of this research is to analyze the opinions of ulama regarding Surah Al-Ahzab verse 59 and analyze the community's views regarding the veil and hijab at the Ushuluddin Faculty. As for students' views regarding the veil and hijab , some of them can accept the existence of women who wear the veil, and there are several groups of people who cannot accept women who wear the veil, because those who wear the veil close themselves off from society and are reluctant to interact with the social environment.

Abstract

This journal explores the impact and dynamics of prophetic education in a global context, highlighting the challenges and opportunities faced. Through a literature analysis approach, this research investigates how Islamic prophetic values can be significantly integrated into diverse global education systems. Identified challenges include cultural differences, varying understandings of Islam, and rapid social change. On the other hand, opportunities arise in the form of cross-cultural collaboration, global knowledge exchange, and the development of innovative educational strategies. By delving deeper, this journal provides insight into how prophetic education can be an important instrument for building better understanding, harmony and tolerance in an increasingly complex global educational environment.

Abstract

This research discusses the moral degradation of the younger generation in Indonesia and the role of Islamic education in overcoming this problem. The phenomenon of moral degradation of the younger generation is increasingly disturbing with the increasing number of cases of tarnished morals, both in direct social interactions and via social media. The main causes of this moral degradation include promiscuity, unwise use of social media, and lack of supervision from parents. Islamic education is considered a relevant solution to face this problem. In this research, the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method was used to collect and analyze related literature. The findings of this research show that Islamic education has an integral, progressive and functional role in overcoming the moral degradation of the younger generation. The integration of Islamic education in the school curriculum is also considered important to shape the character of students. However, there are internal and external challenges faced in implementing Islamic education, including a less comprehensive understanding of Islamic teachings, as well as the negative influence of scientific and technological progress. This research contributes to understanding the complexity of the moral degradation of the younger generation and the relevance of Islamic education as a solution in facing these challenges. Therefore, it is important for Islamic educational institutions to continue to develop effective and relevant strategies in shaping the morals of the younger generation through Islamic education.

Abstract

Education is important human progress. Likewise, Islamic education a very important role in determining the quality of life of Muslims. Unfortunately, in this modern era it can felt that Islamic education is lagging behind modern western. According to Al-Faruqi, this is evidenced by existence of identity crisis, loss of economic, political and intellectual independence in Islamic world, existence of sectarianism that focuses on borders, and slow modernization (Ramdhani, 2013 ). There are factors that cause these things, namely: the influence of western science and philosophy, colonialism, lack of Islamic unity, and lack of modernization of Islamic. To overcome these problems, ulama proposed the Islamization of science. This article was created using the SLR method. It aims to integrate Islamic principles and values into field of science and knowledge which involves a process of rethinking, re-evaluating and reconstructing scientific knowledge to enrich the vision and struggle of Islam (Sahide, 2015). The concept of Islamization of Science was introduced by Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi who defined it as an effort to integrate science into the unity of Muslim life with aims to improve the quality of Islamic education, and hoped it can also improve the quality of life of Muslims in this era.
