Abstract

Grants are the provision of money/goods or services from the regional government to other governments, regional companies, the community, and community organizations, whose designations have specifically been determined, are not mandatory and are not binding, and are not continuously aimed at supporting the administration of business affairs. government, or support the achievement of program targets and local government activities in mandatory and optional affairs. While the source of grant funds itself comes from the source of grants. Grants to local governments can be sourced from: a. Government; b. Other local governments; c. Domestic private agency/institution/organization; and D. Domestic community groups/individuals. Grants from the Government can be sourced from: a. APBN revenue; b. Foreign Loans; and/or c. Foreign Grants. Grants from Foreign Loans and Foreign Grants can be sourced from foreign government governments, foreign agencies/institutions, international agencies/institutions, and/or other donors. Grant funds can be a useful additional resource for educational purposes. District/city schools and schools are advised to develop skills in seeking and obtaining grants. But caution is needed so that grant applications are made wisely and strategically. Grants also have obligations to their recipients and these should be considered before applying. The best approach to establishing the grant-seeking process is to ensure that the grant program considered aligns with and supports the school's strategy or school district plan.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the application of the Logic Model in the Evaluation of New Student Admissions (PPDB) Online. The research used is field research using a quantitative descriptive approach and evaluation methods. To describe the evaluation of PPDB used, a logic model (logic model). The components to be evaluated include input, activity, and output components. The research was conducted at a public high school in the Dharmasraya district. The data source for this research is the PPDB committee consisting of principals, teachers, and education staff, totaling 140 people. The data collection technique used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire with the content validity test using the Aiken test and the construct validity test applying the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). After that, the reliability test was carried out, and continued to analyze the data using descriptive statistics with central tendency. The results were obtained in evaluating the PPDB program at SMA Negeri in Dharmasraya Regency with a logic model covering input, activity, and output components. Achievement of quality on the input component with good category. Achievement of quality in the activity component with a good class. In contrast, the achievement of quality in the output component is categorized as good. Overall, the three branches of online PPDB quality achievement at SMA Negeri in Dharmasraya district are classified as good, with an average of 82.10. This condition must be maintained and evaluated periodically to improve the following year's PPDB.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the strategies of madrasah principals used in improving the quality of education and to describe the type or character of madrasah principals' leadership in improving the quality of education. The method in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The selection of this method will make it easier to understand the data exposure that has been explained because it is arranged accurately and systematically. The data collection of this research used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. After that the data that has been collected is analyzed in the stages of data reduction, data presentation and the last is drawing conclusions. The results that can be presented in this study are several strategies used by the madrasa principal to achieve a target that has been jointly set by all school components. The strategy adopted by the madrasah principal certainly refers to the exposure of the theory about the quality of an education which includes existing inputs, processes, and outputs. From the implementation of this strategy, it can also be seen how the character or type of leadership of the madrasah principal, which, according to several data sources, leads to democratic leadership. This can be seen from the thought intervention of related parties in issuing a school policy.

Abstract

This article explored a learning cycle based on the collaboration of teacher leadership with students in solving actual problems through innovative and productive business start-ups. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Teacher Leader Collaboration; Start-up Project Leadership carried out during the pandemic. The Indonesian Teacher's School (SGI) during the pandemic has carried out a teacher-leader collaboration program to encourage teachers to innovate and collaborate. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. This research is on the SGI 2nd session teacher leader collaboration program. SGI is a training institution for teacher capacity building through the 10-teacher leadership curriculum, so researchers want to know the extent of the impact of implementing teacher-leader collaboration. The impact of implementing the Collaborative Teacher Leaders (KGP), Start-up Project Leadership (SPL) is not only for students and teachers but also for schools and parents. The impact of SPL on students; improves student creativity; motivates students; builds student character and increases student skills. The impact of DSS on teachers; develop teaching skills and teacher collaboration and develop teacher emotional intelligence. The impact of SPL on schools is that it can create a superior school culture. Finally, the impact on parents is that parents feel happy and proud to be able to collaborate with the school.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation strategy of the MA CI Islamic Boarding School Management to build the morals of students and its relation to the morals of students who are in the Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School Pacet Mojokerto. The study of this research by the researcher's view of the morals of students now as experienced by this nation, the moral decline has hit almost all life in Indonesia or other words, not only an economic crisis and a crisis of trust but also a moral crisis. This article includes qualitative research using a descriptive qualitative approach. The consideration of using this method is to reveal the reality and actuality of the students' morality from the strategies used at the Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School. In collecting data, the researcher used three methods, namely the interview method, the observation method, and the documentation method. The results of the study obtained an overview of the morals of students and the strategies applied at the Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School, namely istiqomah, the implementation of the night prayer system, book recitation, dawn recitation, and the formation of students' morals with the supervision of students by the management, monitoring of kyai and evaluation of all activities.

Abstract

This article aims to show how to manage stress in forming a professional teacher. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the type of library research. The data analysis technique used is a content analysis pattern. This study explains that managing stress is to maintaining relations with fellow human beings based on an Islamic perspective. The conclusions are: First, how to manage stress according to the existing situation, namely: Faith in Allah SWT, sincere intention to practice the knowledge possessed by students, Absorbing the meaning of prayer and dhikr that we always pray to Allah SWT, Put your trust in Allah SWT, Accept what is the current situation and conditions, Be patient in dealing with all problems, and Always be grateful for the blessings that Allah SWT has given. Second, because life is a reality that must be experienced, every human being, must experience symptoms of stress in their lives.

Abstract

Teacher Professional Competence refers to the ability or competence needed to complete the responsibilities of a teacher correctly. Every teacher must-have skills that will enable them to carry out their professional duties. Teachers play an essential role in efforts to achieve national education goals. This study aims to reveal the role of school principals in improving teacher competence. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The research procedure uses Miles and Huberman. Data collection techniques using interviews. Data analysis was carried out with the help of Atlas.ti software version 8. The results of this study indicate that regular supervision, increasing ethical teacher responsibilities, and developing the moral integrity of teachers are all ways to improve teacher quality. Meanwhile, school principals provide an understanding of how to understand the character of their students and encourage teachers to participate in training related to learning development and learning evaluation to improve pedagogic competence.

Abstract

This article analyses educational programs for preparing a generation with global competitiveness in the Department of Early Childhood and Elementary Education, Jambi University using a qualitative approach and critical analysis. Furthermore, the data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique is the Miles and Huberman model, including reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that there are several programs to prepare a generation of global competitiveness, including 1) Organizing training and workshops to prepare a generation with global competitiveness, 2) Reframing for Global Competitiveness, 3) Organizing Focus Group Discussions (FGD), 4) Implementation of Student Extracurricular Activities, 5) Socialization of Student Achievement Improvement.

Abstract

The lack of optimal quality of education in madrasahs causes the public image of madrasas to remain poor. The public view of Madrasahs is associated with second-choice educational institutions, not developed, slums, and other negative images about madrasas, therefore, the desire of the community (parents) to continue their children's studies in madrasahs is very lacking. For the quality of learning in madrasah to increase, the head of the madrasah must always improve the effectiveness of the implementation of academic supervision, improve good school culture, and prepare educational facilities. The results of the pre-survey on the quality of learning at Madrasah Aliyah in South Lampung District, the initial data obtained on the quality of the learning process are as follows: (1) there are still many teachers using less varied learning methods; (2) teachers rarely make use of and use instructional media; (3) learning activities do not activate students, where teachers are more active in learning; (4) the evaluation activities carried out by the teacher were more on the cognitive aspects; (5) learning activities carried out by the teacher do not optimize the development of all potential students; and (6) student learning outcomes are rarely followed up, the information is merely to find out the extent of the learning outcomes of students (students).

Abstract

This article aims to analyze: 1) the role of the kiai's leadership in strengthening the moderation attitude of the students at the Al-Khoirot Islamic Boarding School, 2) the steps taken by the Kiai, 3) the evaluation carried out by the kiai's leadership. This research uses a qualitative approach, the type of case study. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three steps, namely: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. Checking the data's validity is done using the credibility, dependency test, and certainty test. The results of this study are as follows: first, Kiai Pondok Pesantren Al-Khoirot in carrying out his leadership has four roles, namely: Kiai as a guide, Kiai as an agent of change, Kiai as spokesperson, and Kiai as a coach. To achieve the top leadership role, Kiai uses a situational leadership style in the form of delegation, guidance, and direction to subordinates. Second, in shaping and strengthening the moderation attitude of the santri, the Kiai emphasizes the study of books by the Kiai and the curriculum. Third, the implementation of the Kiai's leadership in strengthening the religious moderation of students at the Al-Khoirot Islamic Boarding School has not encountered significant obstacles. Likewise, the implementation of strengthening the attitude of religious moderation of students by the expectations of the Kiai. The daily characteristics of santri in implementing the attitude of religious moderation are good.
