<![CDATA[Mental health is an important element in individual well-being that is often overlooked. The family as the smallest social unit plays a significant role in raising awareness of mental health among its members. This article aims to explore the role of the family in supporting mental health by involving good communication strong emotional support and positive parenting. This study uses a literature review method to analyze various studies relevant to the topic. Findings from various sources indicate that active family involvement can play a key role in preventing and overcoming mental health disorders. Open communication between family members facilitates sharing of feelings and problems so that individuals feel more comfortable expressing their feelings without fear of being punished or judged. Emotional support from the family such as affection attention and empathy, has been shown to be effective in reducing feelings of stress and anxiety that can lead to mental disorders. In addition, healthy parenting such as a democratic approach that provides freedom while still providing direction also contributes to children's mental health. Based on these findings this article suggests the importance of increasing mental health literacy at the family level. With better knowledge families can provide appropriate support create a more supportive environment and play an active role in maintaining the mental health of their family members.]]>

<![CDATA[This article discusses efforts to build farmer independence in increasing agricultural productivity through empowering farmer groups. Empowering farmer groups is very important in building farmer independence in increasing agricultural productivity. In addition, through empowering farmer groups, it is also a strategic step in realizing farmers who are more independent, innovative, and able to face all the problems being faced to achieve better and increasing agricultural results. Through empowering farmer groups, farmers are given access to knowledge, supporting technology, skills and training in better farm management for the future. Through farmer groups, they can also form a collaborative forum, where farmers can share experiences and strengthen marketing networks and access to get assistance from the government. With the independence that is built, farmers are expected to be able to increase agricultural productivity sustainably and be able to improve economic welfare.]]>

<![CDATA[The increasingly intensive water crisis threatens the sustainability of rice production, limited water resources are a serious problem for rice farming in the country. Various methods have been used, especially to increase raw water reserves, namely by building dams and reservoirs. However, this is still insufficient amidst the challenges of climate change in the current dry season. One effort to overcome this problem is through outreach to farmer groups. Through outreach, farmers are expected to be able to adopt efficient water management techniques, such as using water pumps, selecting drought-resistant rice varieties, and utilizing rainwater. This research aims to identify the obstacles faced by farmers in accessing and managing water, as well as evaluating the extent to which extension can provide effective solutions. It is hoped that the research results can provide policy recommendations to improve food security and farmer welfare amidst limited water resources.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this study is to : 1) understand and describe the academic behavior of students who are addicted to online gambling, 2) as well as to identify the impacts affecting the academic performance of those students. This research employs a qualitative method, with data collection conducted through non-participant observation and interviews. The subjects of the study are focused on Guidance and Counseling students at Sanata Dharma University who are addicted to online gambling. The data analysis techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that online gambling disrupts students' cognitive abilities, leading to cognitive fatigue and negatively affecting their academic behavior, which in turn disrupts their academic activities and results in a decline in both academic and non-academic performance.]]>

<![CDATA[The Patang Balimau tradition is one of the cultural heritages of the Minangkabau people, West Sumatra, which has symbolic value as a form of self-purification before entering the holy month of Ramadan. Patang Balimau is a communal bathing ritual using water mixed with lime, accompanied by prayers that have philosophical value. This tradition symbolizes the intention to purify oneself, both physically and spiritually, before fasting. In the midst of rapid technological developments and foreign cultural influences, Patang Balimau faces big challenges in maintaining its existence. This article focuses on the meaning, practice, as well as various challenges and efforts in preserving the Patang Balimau tradition.]]>

<![CDATA[The Learning House emerged as a response to the existing issues, particularly the large number of abandoned children who are either not attending school or have dropped out. This condition leaves them lacking the skills and abilities to develop their potential and talents. Therefore, the aim of this design is to provide a space and facilities that support the creativity development of abandoned children in terms of individual, social, talent, and potential aspects through various training programs. The planning and design process begins by applying the concept of children's creativity development as a solution to help them improve their skills, enhance their potential, and strengthen their ability to socialize with the community. The supporting factors in the implementation of the Learning House as a solution for abandoned children who have dropped out of school include community support, infrastructure assistance from the local government, and the motivation of these children to transform their lives, progress, and become independent.]]>

<![CDATA[This article analyzes the use of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model in improving student learning outcomes in higher classes. CIRC is a cooperative learning model that integrates reading and writing activities with the aim of improving students’ academic skills. Through a literature review, this article reviews various research related to the implementation of CIRC, as well as its impact on improving learning outcomes, especially in aspects of reading comprehension and writing skills in higher grades. The results of the analysis show that the CIRC model can encourage positive social interactions between students, increase learning motivation, and facilitate the achievement of better learning outcomes. The application of this model has also proven effective in improving students’ cognitive and affective abilities, as well as strengthening understanding of concepts through collaborative learning. This article concludes that CIRC is a potential model to be applied in higher class learning to achieve more optimal learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine students' responses to face-to-face physics learning after previously conducting online learning at Singkawang City High School. The research used a survey method with descriptive data analysis techniques. The population in this study were tenth grade students at State High Schools in Singkawang City. The research sample was taken using cluster sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire, namely a questionnaire on responses to post-covid-19 pandemic physics learning with the help of Google Form media. The results showed that students' positive responses to face-to-face learning were higher than negative responses, with positive responses averaging 72% and negative responses only 28%. Based on the categories of Excellent, Good, Fair, and Poor, the highest percentage obtained was in the Excellent category, with 35%.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the impact of Chat GPT usage on data analysis skills among students. The research employs a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression to measure the relationship between the independent variable (Chat GPT usage) and the dependent variable (data analysis skills). The analysis results show a significant negative relationship between Chat GPT usage and students' data analysis skills, with the regression equation Y = 16.382 - 0.213X. The regression coefficient of -0.213 indicates that for every one-unit increase in Chat GPT usage, students' data analysis skills are expected to decrease by 0.213 units, with a significance level of 0.001 at a 99% confidence level. The constant value of 16.382 indicates that data analysis skills are at this level when Chat GPT usage is zero. These findings underscore the importance of wise management in the use of Chat GPT within academic environments. While this technology has the potential to support the learning process, its unstructured use could negatively affect the development of students' analytical skills. Therefore, policies and guidelines for AI usage in education need to be designed to maximize benefits and minimize emerging risks.]]>
