Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the offect of using the Kahoot application on the learning motivation of Social Science students in grade XI studying economics at SMA Negeri 1 Tilango, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This study uses a quantitative method with a population of 115 students and a sample of 60 students, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis techniques include descriptive and statistical analysis using the SPSS 25 software (2025). The results indicate that the hypothesis testing regarding the Kahoot application’s effect on students’ learning motivation shows a moderately strong, positive, and significant effect, as demonstrated by the correlation coefficient value. The coefficient of determination indicates that the percentage of the efeect is 66.20%, while the remaining percentage is affected by other variables. Therefore, the results of this study empirically prove that the independent variable in this study is the use of the Kahoot application (X), and the dependent variable is the learning motivation of students (Y) at SMA Negeri 1 Tilango, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of education level on community welfare in Bube Baru Village, Suwawa Sub-District. This quantitative research used primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to 56 people in Bube Baru Village. The data in this study were analyzed using simple linear regression. Based on the analysis, education level influenced the community’s welfare in Bube Baru Village, Suwawa Sub-District. Partially, the level of education significantly influenced the community’s welfare in Bube Baru Village, Suwawa Sub-District. The influence (partial) of the education level variable on the community’s welfare was 63,1%, and unexamined variables influenced 36,9%.

Abstract

Bullying in the school environment is still common, this problem can cause negative effects on mental health, academic achievement of students. Safe and comfortable classroom management can prevent bullying. This research aims to examine classroom management strategies that contribute to bullying prevention and build a socially and emotionally healthy learning environment. Through literature review and analysis of classroom management approaches, this article concludes that strategies such as establishing shared classroom norms, restorative approaches, strengthening assertive communication, and empathic teacher leadership can significantly reduce the potential for bullying. The research recommends continuous teacher training in prevention-based classroom management and early intervention.

Abstract

This study highlights the importance of strengthening the role of teachers in curriculum management reform through a transformational leadership approach at MA Darussalam. The aim of the research is to conduct an in-depth analysis of strategies for empowering teachers within the context of curriculum reform, enabling them to become not only implementers but also designers and drivers of instructional change. A qualitative approach was employed, using a case study method to contextually understand the dynamics of leadership and teacher participation in curriculum management. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, with purposive sampling of informants consisting of the school principal, the vice principal of curriculum affairs, and teachers from various subject areas. Data analysis was conducted thematically to identify patterns of roles, collaboration, and the influence of leadership on enhancing teacher participation. The findings reveal that participatory transformational leadership encourages active teacher involvement in curriculum development, enhances professional motivation, and fosters a learning ecosystem that is more adaptive and responsive to the socio-religious context of the madrasah. The study recommends the implementation of a leadership model based on collaboration and reflection as a sustainable and relevant strategy for curriculum reform in pesantren based madrasahs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital platforms in the transformation of learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Darul Qur’an Singojuruh. Using a case study method with a qualitative approach, this research analyzes the impact of these technologies on student engagement, the effectiveness of independent learning, and the changing role of teachers. The findings show that the use of interactive AI enhances students' motivation, participation, and understanding through personalized and adaptive learning. Additionally, digital platforms support independent learning by providing flexible access and a variety of learning resources. The role of teachers has also shifted from being mere instructors to facilitators who guide and mentor students in developing critical thinking skills and character values. However, challenges related to digital literacy and infrastructure access remain as barriers. This study concludes that technology does not replace teachers but strengthens the educational process holistically, and digital transformation in madrasahs requires continuous support.

Abstract

The development of social media has become one of the most interesting phenomena in the history of modern information technology. From its humble beginnings to a complex global network, social media has changed the way we communicate and interact with one another. While its impact has been very positive in many ways, it is important to continue to consider the social and ethical implications of social media. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The author collected data through interviews, a method where the subject and researcher meet in a specific situation to obtain information. The data sources were obtained from Sociology students at the University of Riau through interviews with purpose sampling. The results of this study have shown that life on social media, as depicted in the dramaturgical speculation on both the front stage and backstage by Instagram users, is indeed real. Instagram users tend to present a different side of themselves on the front stage, and similarly, in the backstage of real life—which is unknown to many people—individuals tend to behave according to their true personalities without any external pressure, and they tend to be themselves.

Abstract

This research aims to describe increasing student creativity in Civics learning using the discussion method in class VII students at Sunan Giri Middle School, Probolinggo. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this research were students of class VII Sunan Giri, with a total of 16 students consisting of 7 male students and 9 female students. Meanwhile, the object of this research was Civics learning activities using the Constructivist Learning model. Data collection methods in this research used tests, observation and documentation. The indicators for the success of this action research were determined to be increasing student creativity in the very active category by 80% of the total number of students. The results of research on PPKn learning using the discussion method can increase student learning creativity. And it can be seen from the results of implementing actions using the discussion method to increase student creativity in PPKn subjects, where activity has reached 87.5%, which means that student activity has reached the specified indicators. namely 80%. Thus, the discussion method can increase student learning creativity in Civics subjects in class VII students at Sunan Giri Middle School, Probolinggo.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has simplified access to information, yet students' digital literacy remains limited. This study aims to analyze the level of digital literacy among university students using a literature review approach. Findings reveal that while students are technically skilled in using digital tools, they often lack critical thinking, information filtering, and awareness of digital ethics and security. Internet use is still largely entertainment-focused rather than academic. Factors influencing digital literacy include media usage intensity, academic achievement, reading habits, and family support. Strengthening digital literacy through integrated education is essential to help students adapt to technological changes and face global challenges.

Abstract

This research was intended to develop speaking activities in students’ textbook for senior high school. This study aims to develop speaking materials based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Based on the preliminary research, there was limited speaking activities in that textbook that can minimize the students to speak. The writers chose one topic to be developed entitled complimenting and showing care in the 2nd chapter. The reason of choosing that topic is that there are limited activities for speaking section. There are limited instructions used for students to express their idea orally. As we know that as a senior high school student, he or she has to be able to speak English orally. But if in the textbook does not provide enough instruction especially in speaking, it is useless. So the material should be developed. The writers is interested to develop that material in order to give the students opportunities to practice speaking orally based on their real life in learning English especially in speaking. Based on the result from previous findings, the writers expects that by giving some activities related to speaking, the students are able to express their idea orally. Because in that textbook limited of speaking activities that can minimize the students to speak, so the writers provided some instructional skill that can be useful for the students.

Abstract

This research aims to illustrate the implementation of flat-shaped learning media from origami paper in mathematics learning for grade 2 at St. Maria Kalabahi Catholic Elementary School. This research was conducted to increase students’ learning interest due to the lack of activity during the learning process. Class teachers usually only use PPT and books for learning in the classroom, making the learning process monotonous. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive quantitative. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it is concluded that students have enthusiasm and interest in learning, so they can more easily understand the learning material delivered by the teacher. Students are interested in daring to find and discover various flat shapes made from origami paper and stick them to the name column of the flat shape correctly.
