Abstract

Digital transformation pushes small businesses to use social media as an affordable and effective marketing tool. The case of Kopi Onthel in Tanjungpinang shows that Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp help expand its market reach, strengthen brand identity, and boost customer engagement. Using a qualitative approach with interviews, observation, and documentation, the study finds clear impacts on customer visits, a broader consumer base, and stronger loyalty built through digital communities. Cost efficiency and user generated content add to these benefits, while visual identity and local storytelling improve competitiveness. Challenges remain, mainly inconsistent posting and limited use of analytics. Overall, digital marketing supports Kopi Onthel’s economic performance and local MSME growth, making consistent content, better analytics, and community collaboration increasingly important.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Flipdeep learning material and to analyze its improvement on fourth–grade students’ oral reading skills of new vocabulary at SDN Gajah 2. Flipdeep was developed as a flipbook–based digital learning medium integrated with the Project Based Learning approach, enabling students not only to read texts but also to engage in simple project activities that strengthen vocabulary understanding and pronunciation. This research employed a descriptive method using observation, oral reading assessments, and teacher interviews as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that Flipdeep effectively improved students’ oral reading skills, as shown by the enhancement of pronunciation, intonation, and fluency. Visual representation, pronunciation models, and gradual reading exercises in Flipdeep supported students in comprehending new vocabulary more easily. In addition, students demonstrated increased motivation, confidence, and participation through project activities that encouraged collaboration and communication. The teacher viewed Flipdeep as feasible and practical due to its simple display, clear structure, and alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum principles. Therefore, Flipdeep is recommended as an innovative learning material to improve elementary school students’ oral reading abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to utilize salak seed waste from Bolu Salak (a fruit cake shop) in Padangsidimpuan City as a raw material for making coffee powder, which has economic value and market potential. Unmanaged salak seed waste poses a risk of environmental pollution, necessitating creative processing that can provide added value. The study used an experimental method supplemented by literature review and interviews. The processing process included cleaning, drying, roasting, grinding, and filtering to produce coffee powder with a distinctive aroma and a consumable texture. The results showed that salak seeds contain antioxidants and are low in caffeine, making them a potential healthier beverage alternative. Product innovation was carried out through a ready-to-brew formulation, the use of sachet packaging, and the development of a ready-to-drink bottle variant. Public and student responses to the product's taste, aroma, and uniqueness demonstrated positive acceptance. This study concludes that processing salak seeds into coffee powder is an effective way to reduce organic waste while opening up business opportunities based on local wisdom in Padangsidimpuan City.

Abstract

This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research design. Data were collected from accredited journals and analyzed through content analysis to identify themes and patterns related to teachers’ social competence development through reflective practices. This study aims to develop a reflective practice based training model to enhance teachers’ social competence, particularly in primary and Islamic education contexts. Through reflective activities, teachers are expected to strengthen empathy, self-awareness, and collaborative communication within learning environments. Abstract

Sindanggalih Karangpawitan Village is an area with high agricultural activity, especially in corn cultivation and pine plantations. Corn production generates corn cob waste that has not been optimally utilized, while abundant pine nuts also have the potential as raw material for briquettes. The implementation method used is an approach and application of technology. The results obtained show that residents' knowledge of processing waste from corn cobs and pine nuts has increased, and residents have the ability to process waste and are able to use technology for the processing. From this activity, it can be concluded that the residents of RW 15 have understood and are able to process corn cobs and pine nuts into briquettes as sustainable energy. In addition, a community business group called the independent green energy group has been formed to continue the briquette processing business. This community service activity has opened up new business opportunities and provided an alternative energy source that can be used by the community in their daily lives.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of the Agrosaka Milenial Community-Based Tourism Group group in adapting to climate change through the support of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The program was implemented on October 25, 2025, in Tumpatan Nibung Village, Batang Kuis District, involving 30 farmers. The methods included climate change awareness sessions, training on climate adaptation technologies, an agroeco-edu-tourism planning workshop, and a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to draft an adaptation action plan supported by CSR. The results indicate improved farmer awareness of climate risks, adoption of environmentally friendly technologies such as drip irrigation and organic fertilizer processing, and the development of an initial concept for agroeco-edu-tourism. It is concluded that CSR–farmer collaboration strengthens climate readiness and supports sustainable village development.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the estafet writing strategy using the Padlet application on eighth-grade students’ descriptive writing skills. A quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest was applied to two classes, consisting of an experimental group using estafet writing via Padlet and a control group using conventional methods. Data were collected through written tests and analyzed using independent-samples t-tests. The results showed that the experimental group achieved higher posttest scores (mean = 79.57) compared to the control group (mean = 74.54), indicating that combining estafet writing with Padlet significantly improved students’ ability to generate ideas, organize sentences, and develop vocabulary. This finding suggests that integrating digital collaborative media with interactive writing strategies enhances students’ engagement and writing performance

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the visibility and market reach of liquid organic fertilizer (biourine), a by product of cow farming, through the utilization of e-commerce platforms. The partner, a cattle farmer producing biourine, had limited skills in digital marketing. The program was implemented using the 3P approach, Preparation, Learning, and Strengthening which included socialization, training on product packaging and labeling, e-commerce-based marketing practices, financial recording using Microsoft Excel, assistance in creating an online store account, as well as evaluation and sustainability strategies. The results show that the partner successfully produced properly packaged products and established an online store that has begun to be used for sales transactions. Monitoring of the store’s performance indicated increased marketing activity and greater partner engagement in online selling processes. In addition, collaboration with the village-owned enterprise (BumDes) and the development of social media accounts further expanded the potential distribution of the product both locally and digitally. This program demonstrates that the application of e-commerce can significantly improve product visibility while strengthening the partner’s independence in managing livestock by product enterprises.

Abstract

Most English teaching materials used in Islamic boarding schools still rely on Western-oriented texts that are culturally distant from students’ social and religious contexts. As a result, students often struggle to comprehend reading passages and show low reading motivation. Empirical research exploring students’ perceptions and cultural appreciation toward local wisdom-based English reading materials in Islamic boarding schools remains very limited, especially in the context of South Kalimantan. This study aims to describe students’ perceptions and levels of cultural appreciation toward English reading materials integrated with local wisdom values at Al-Islam Islamic Boarding School, Tabalong. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through perception questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The participants consisted of 30 tenth-grade students and 3 English teachers. The findings revealed that 85% of the students expressed positive perceptions toward English reading materials that contained elements of local wisdom, such as folktales, regional traditions, and Islamic moral values. Students perceived these texts as easier to understand, more relevant to their daily life, and more engaging. Furthermore, students’ cultural appreciation was enhanced, as the readings helped them strengthen both their Islamic and Indonesian cultural identity. The novelty of this study lies in its discovery that local wisdom-based reading materials not only improve linguistic comprehension but also foster cultural awareness and religious character formation among students. This highlights the potential of culturally responsive pedagogy in English language teaching within Islamic educational institutions. The findings imply the importance of developing contextual English teaching materials rooted in local culture and providing teacher training to effectively integrate local values into language learning.

Abstract

Digital government transformation requires a strong ethical foundation to ensure public services that are not only efficient but also moral. This study analyzes the concept of Ihsan in Islamic Religious Education as a philosophical basis for public services in the digital era through library research using a thematic analysis approach. The findings show that the concept of Ihsan has evolved in meaning from a ritual-spiritual dimension to a holistic paradigm that is relevant to the demands of contemporary digital services. The integration of Ihsan values requires multidimensional transformation at the individual, institutional, and systemic levels, including character building among civil servants, organizational culture development, and a supportive policy framework. Trustworthiness in Ihsan-based digital services manifests itself in transparency, accountability, and responsiveness driven by moral-spiritual awareness. Implementation in the context of Society 5.0 requires a balanced approach between technological optimization and the preservation of human values. The research produced an integrative theoretical model consisting of five synergistic components: Spiritual Foundation, Ethical Governance, Technology Optimization, Human Development, and Social Impact as a comprehensive and sustainable implementation framework in the development of ethical digital government.
