Abstract

The goal of the mentoring program for Mojokerto's Obral Gerabah MSMEs is to strategically build the local economy by focusing on home pottery and plastic crafts. The goal of this curriculum is to assist business owners in developing their digital financial record-keeping, stock management, and marketplace and social media promotion skills. Approach, elicitation, deepening, matching, interpretation, and presentation are the six stages of the participatory implementation technique. The activity's outcomes include a 20% rise in turnover, an improvement in inventory management efficiency, and a rise in business owners' digital knowledge. The competitiveness and sustainability of local enterprises can be greatly impacted by minor measures in mentoring MSMEs, as this program demonstrates.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy levels on the productivity of educators at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic, considering the demands of technological developments in the Society 5.0 era that require educators to master various digital skills to support the Tridharma of Higher Education. Using a quantitative descriptive method through a survey of 50 educator respondents (total sampling), this study measures four pillars of digital literacy: Digital Skills, Digital Ethics, Digital Safety, and Digital Culture. The results show that the four dimensions of digital literacy have a significant and positive influence on educator productivity (p-value 0.000 < 0.05). Specifically, Digital Culture is the variable that has the greatest influence, with a tendency of 49-fold influence on increasing educator productivity at the institution.

Abstract

Waste is a major problem in Indonesia, including in Gung Negeri Village, Karo Regency. People still litter, do not sort their waste, and are not yet aware of the benefits of waste banks. The purpose of this community service is to improve the quality of environmental cleanliness in Gung Negeri Village in the areas of waste management and vector control, calculating density figures, increasing knowledge and skills about waste management, and making compost using the Berkeley method. This community service activity was carried out using several methods: namely Education: Training, and Mentoring. The activity was carried out in the Partner Village of Gung Negeri Village involving 50 participants from the community, neighborhood heads, and mosquito larvae cadres. The Density Figure value in Gung Negeri Village, Kabanjahe, Karo Regency is 4.3. This means the Yellow Area, so preventive efforts to prevent the development of Dengue Fever are carried out through Fogging activities. Community knowledge and skills have increased by 80% in waste sorting efforts. The community has been able to process organic waste using the Berkeley method and produce compost. The tonnage of waste received at the Waste Bank increased because savings from the community increased to 59.2 kg during the community service period.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami bagaimana Rustam menyusun dan menerapkan strategi politik sehingga berhasil memperoleh dukungan masyarakat dan memenangkan Pemilihan Kepala Desa di Desa Balayan., Kecamatan Kisam Tinggi, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan pada tahun 2023 serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi dukungan publik terhadapnya. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, pengamatan langsung, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan masyarakat setempat, tim sukses, serta aparat desa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi politik Rustam meliputi strategi menyerang dan bertahan yang dikombinasikan secara efektif. Strategi menyerang dijalankan melalui pendekatan pribadi kepada masyarakat, komunikasi politik yang intensif, serta pengungkapan visi dan misi yang realistis dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan warga desa. Di sisi lain, strategi bertahan dilakukan dengan merawat citra positif, membangun kepercayaan masyarakat, serta menghindari konflik dengan pesaing lainnya. Elemen utama yang menjadi faktor pendorong keberhasilan Rustam adalah kedekatan sosial dengan penduduk, rekam jejak yang positif di komunitas, serta dukungan yang kuat dari pemimpin masyarakat dan keluarga besar. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan Rustam dalam Pilkades di Desa Balayan tahun 2023 dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan jaringan sosial dan dukungan dari masyarakat, serta strategi politik yang tepat dan kemampuan komunikasi yang baik. Temuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sumber referensi bagi calon kepala desa lain dalam menyusun taktik politik yang etis dan berpihak pada kepentingan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penyaluran Dana Desa secara besar-besaran menuntut akuntabilitas dan transparansi yang tinggi dalam pengelolaan keuangan di tingkat desa. Mitra layanan, Pemerintah Desa [Nama Desa Negara Bagian/Lokasi Mitra], menghadapi tantangan signifikan terkait kualitas pelaporan keuangan, yang seringkali ditandai dengan perbedaan data antara catatan kas harian dan laporan bulanan, keterlambatan dalam penyusunan laporan, dan kerentanan terhadap kesalahan pencatatan manual. Masalah-masalah ini menghambat proses audit, verifikasi oleh Badan Konsultatif Desa (BPD), dan berdampak pada kecepatan penyerapan anggaran untuk kegiatan pembangunan desa. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah Pelatihan Pembukuan Keuangan Berbasis Digital Sederhana menggunakan [Aplikasi/Platform Sederhana Negara Bagian, misalnya: Microsoft Excel atau Aplikasi Keuangan Sederhana] yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pelaporan desa. Metode implementasinya meliputi penilaian kebutuhan, pelatihan praktik intensif, pendampingan praktis, dan evaluasi dampak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman tim manajemen keuangan desa (bendahara dan sekretaris) mengenai prinsip-prinsip akuntansi dasar dan, yang lebih penting, peningkatan kecepatan (efisiensi waktu) dan akurasi (meminimalkan kesalahan manusia) dalam menyusun Laporan Realisasi Anggaran Kas Desa. Keberhasilan program ini berkontribusi langsung pada peningkatan kualitas Laporan Kas Desa, mendukung Tata Kelola Pemerintahan yang Baik di tingkat lokal, dan memastikan bahwa Dana Desa dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal dan akuntabel.

Abstract

The main goal of the study is to analyze how technology readiness, instructional leadership, and workload management together influence teacher performance. The researchers have pointed out the necessity of teaching professionals in the digital era to be not only trained but also paid well, which will be the case when the teachers take the lead in the learning process. The study was designed as a quantitative explanatory research method involving the participation of 150 teachers who were chosen intentionally. Data collection was done through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire while multiple linear regression analysis was the statistical method used. The research tool was initially subjected to validation, reliability testing with Cronbach's Alpha, and classical assumptions before analysis. The findings indicated that each of the three independent variables significantly and positively affected teacher performance. Theoretical implications of the research have reached the area of educational management and human resources in education. The practical implications of the research, on the other hand, indicate that there are school strategies to enhance teacher performance in terms of technology, instructional leaders, and managing workload.

Abstract

The third trimester of pregnancy is often associated with increased physical and psychological discomforts, including anxiety, sleep disturbances, and emotional tension, which may affect maternal and fetal well-being. Safe and easily applicable non-pharmacological interventions are needed to promote relaxation among pregnant women. Lavender aromatherapy is known for its calming effects and potential to reduce anxiety. This community service program aimed to provide education and implement lavender aromatherapy as a relaxation strategy for third-trimester pregnant women in Cipageran Village. The methods included health education, demonstration of lavender aromatherapy use, and direct practice assistance. Evaluation was conducted by assessing relaxation levels and subjective complaints before and after the intervention. The results indicated increased relaxation, reduced anxiety complaints, and improved rest quality among pregnant women following the implementation of lavender aromatherapy. The program also enhanced participants’ knowledge and skills in utilizing complementary therapy independently. In conclusion, education and implementation of lavender aromatherapy represent a safe, practical, and supportive intervention to improve comfort and well-being among third-trimester pregnant women at the community level.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease with high prevalence and a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Hypertension management requires a comprehensive approach that includes not only pharmacological therapy but also community-applicable non-pharmacological interventions. One complementary therapy that may support blood pressure control is acupressure. This community service activity aimed to improve community knowledge and skills and to support blood pressure control among patients with hypertension through the application of acupressure in Cipageran Village. The methods included health education, acupressure training and demonstration, and evaluation of blood pressure before and after acupressure application. A total of 35 participants consisting of hypertensive patients and health cadres were involved. The results showed increased participant knowledge regarding hypertension and acupressure, as well as a decrease in mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure after acupressure application. Participants also reported feeling more relaxed and experiencing reduced symptoms such as headaches. Acupressure may serve as a safe, low-cost, and easily applicable complementary therapy to support community-based hypertension management.

Abstract

Malay Islamic education has a long-standing tradition in shaping character, morality, and cultural identity through the cultivation of adab, courtesy, and respect for teachers. However, the development of social media presents new challenges, including the degradation of communication ethics, uncontrolled information flow, and the weakening of scholarly authority. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Malay-based Islamic education in the digital era and to explore how the integration of adab and technology can be applied in modern educational practices. Using a qualitative method through library research, this study examines classical and contemporary literature related to Malay Islamic education, adab, digital culture, and technological literacy. The findings indicate that the value of adab plays a strategic role as a moral, social, and epistemological filter in the use of technology among younger generations. The integration of ta’dib, ethical digital literacy, and the habituation of polite communication are key to preserving the dignity of Malay culture in digital spaces. This article concludes that the success of Malay Islamic education in the social media era depends largely on the ability of educational institutions, teachers, and families to harmoniously combine traditional values with technological competence, thereby producing a generation that is digitally skilled and morally grounded.

Abstract

This PKM aims to develop and implement a more effective learning ecosystem at Madaarikul Ulum Islamic Boarding School through an E-learning platform using Moodle, accompanied by digital literacy training rooted in spiritual values. Access constraints, variations in conventional teaching methods, and the need to enhance digital literacy for more than 480 students and educators drive this initiative. The methods include needs analysis, design and integration of Moodle with instructional processes, and comprehensive training for teachers and students, followed by digital literacy training that emphasizes ethics, security, and spiritual values aligned with the boarding school’s culture. Evaluation is conducted continuously through pre- and post-tests, participation observations, and participant feedback to assess improvements in technical skills, content comprehension, and the quality of learning interactions. Early results indicate enhanced technical competencies, digital literacy grounded in spiritual values, and more effective access to materials and online discussions. Moodle facilitates more structured class management and more objective assessment, supporting a learning model relevant to the boarding school. PKM could serve as a reference for other pesantrens in the effort to improve educational quality in line with SDG 4.
