Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how visitors' intentions to visit the Geological Museum of Bandung are influenced by social media engagement rate, visitor satisfaction, and customer experience. The study is predicated on evolving post-pandemic tourist behavior, variable visitor numbers, and disparities in the efficacy of involvement across digital channels. People who have visited the museum were given questionnaires as part of a quantitative approach. Multiple linear regression, validity tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis testing were used to process the data. The findings show that visit intention is positively and significantly impacted by engagement rate, visitor satisfaction, and customer experience, both separately and collectively. In order to boost public interest, our findings highlight the significance of increasing visitor experiences, enhancing digital communication tactics, and improving service quality.

Abstract

Fatherlessness is increasingly prevalent in Indonesia and has notable effects on emotional development, particularly during emerging adulthood. The absence of a father figure may hinder individuals’ ability to cultivate self-compassion. This study aims to explore the dynamics of self-compassion among emerging adults who experience fatherlessness. A qualitative case study approach was employed through in-depth interviews and observations with two emerging adult participants. Data were analyzed using Neff’s three components of self-compassion: self-kindness vs. self-judgment, common humanity vs. isolation, and mindfulness vs. over-identification. The findings show that both participants demonstrated low self-kindness and high self-judgment, reflected in excessive self-criticism and feelings of unworthiness. In the area of common humanity, participants tended to feel isolated and believed their suffering was unique. Regarding mindfulness, they recognized their emotions but often became overwhelmed by negative affect. This study concludes that fatherlessness significantly contributes to low self-compassion in emerging adults, particularly through patterns of self-criticism, emotional isolation, and difficulties in emotion regulation.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan siswa di wilayah 3T (Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal) Kabupaten Maluku Barat Daya (MBD) dalam penggunaan teknologi pendidikan melalui pelatihan pembuatan dan penggunaan media digital interaktif berbasis budaya lokal. Pelatihan ini memanfaatkan aplikasi Canva, PowerPoint interaktif, dan Quizizz untuk mendukung pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang lebih menarik dan kontekstual. Metode pelaksanaan mengadopsi pendekatan partisipatif, kontekstual, dan berbasis komunitas, serta melibatkan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris melalui skema Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi digital guru, peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa, serta lahirnya produk media pembelajaran yang mengangkat nilai-nilai budaya Kalwedo sebagai identitas lokal. Program ini berkontribusi dalam menciptakan model digitalisasi pendidikan yang adaptif di wilayah kepulauan terpencil.

Abstract

Social skills development is a fundamental aspect of early childhood education, as it forms the basis for children’s ability to interact, collaborate, empathize, and regulate emotions. However, learning practices in many early childhood education settings remain activity-oriented and have not adequately facilitated the systematic development of children’s social skills. This community service program aimed to implement training on social skills development through deep learning-based instruction at TK YPK Harapan Abepura. The program employed a participatory and collaborative approach, positioning teachers as active participants. The stages included needs analysis, training on social skills and deep learning concepts, mentoring in lesson planning and classroom implementation, and reflective evaluation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results indicated a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding and pedagogical competence in designing learning activities that explicitly target social skills development. The implementation of deep learning-based instruction positively influenced classroom dynamics, as evidenced by increased cooperation, communication, empathy, and emotional regulation among children.

Abstract

Village economy is one of the foundations for achieving village welfare. Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages explains that villages can be more independent in building and developing their respective villages. One of the instruments in village development and development is the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUM Desa) which has the flexibility to manage and utilize the potential owned by the village in order to generate profits that have an impact on the village's original income to support the independence of the village economy. The method in collecting this data is as follows: the necessary data collection techniques, both primary and secondary data and interviews, observations and FGDs by means of being carried out to obtain data directly from sources including the following sources: Management of BUM Desa Suwaluh Mandiri Sejahtera and Suwaluh village officials. The results and discussion are that the government through the Regulation of the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration Number 2 of 2016 concerning the Village Development Index classifies villages with the aim of facilitating village management and planning.

Abstract

Bali, a global tourism icon, faces significant challenges in distributing tourist visits to local destinations at the rural level due to the digital divide. This community service article aims to describe the implementation of digital-based tourism creativity development training for local destination managers in Bali to increase their attractiveness and competitiveness. The main problems identified among partners (Pokdarwis in Bali) were reliance on traditional marketing and the low quality of digital content capable of representing the uniqueness of local culture and nature. The community service method was carried out using an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which included visual content creation workshops, cultural narrative-based copywriting training ( storytelling ), and social media algorithm optimization. The community service results showed a significant increase in participants' creative capacity in producing aesthetic and informative content, as well as increased interaction on partner destinations' social media channels. The conclusion of this activity emphasizes that the digitalization of local tourism in Bali must be rooted in the creative packaging of local wisdom, so as to attract quality tourist segments and support the sustainable recovery of the creative economy post-pandemic.

Abstract

The development of Generation Z living in the digital era presents new challenges in shaping students' ethical and moral behavior. The Independent Curriculum was designed in response to the needs of 21st-century education by placing character education as the main foundation through strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile. This study aims to analyze the role of character education in the Independent Curriculum on the ethical and moral behavior of Generation Z students. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study of scientific journals, educational policy documents, and relevant previous research results. The results of the study indicate that character education in the Independent Curriculum plays a significant role in shaping students' ethical and moral behavior through the integration of character values ​​in learning, project-based learning, and teacher role models. However, the implementation of character education still faces challenges in the form of educator readiness and the influence of the digital environment. This study concludes that character education in the Independent Curriculum contributes positively to the ethical and moral formation of Generation Z students if implemented consistently and collaboratively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the legal status of Microfinance Limited Liability Companies (PT. LKM) established by Joint Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa bersama) using revolving funds from the former National Program for Rural Community Empowerment (PNPM MPd) prior to the enactment of the Job Creation Law. The research method used was normative juridical with a legislative and conceptual approach. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that prior to the issuance of the Job Creation Law, the status of PT. LKM that used community revolving funds was not in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, such as PT. LKM Kedungmas in Banyumas Regency. The results of this study are expected to provide input for PT LKM or other legal entities that manage revolving funds from PNPM MPd activities before the enactment of the Job Creation Law to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of active electronic archiving (e-archive) innovation at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) of Surabaya City using Everett M. Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovations Theory. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation and semi-structured interviews with employees directly involved in archive management. The analysis focuses on five innovation attributes: relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability. The findings indicate that the e-archive system provides relative advantages in terms of cost efficiency, integration with the e-letter system, and ease of archive retrieval, although it has not significantly improved work efficiency. In terms of compatibility, the system aligns well with archival regulations, work processes, and employee capabilities. The complexity of the system is mainly related to technical constraints and limited user accounts rather than user competence. Trialability through initial training enables users to understand the system and reduces the risk of errors. Meanwhile, the observability of the e-archive benefits is more evident internally among employees than externally to the public. This study concludes that the e-archive has been reasonably well accepted as an internal innovation, yet further technical and managerial improvements are required to optimize its benefits.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the digital era has brought significant changes to the management of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the financial and marketing aspects. However, many MSMEs still lack the ability to utilize technology optimally, including the Sedap t-Rasya MSME in Lamongan Regency, which still faces challenges in financial record keeping and utilizing digital media for promotion. This community service activity aims to analyze the challenges faced by the Sedap t-Rasya MSME and provide assistance in implementing a simple digital-based financial record keeping system and optimizing marketing through social media and marketplaces. The method used was a qualitative approach through interviews and direct assistance to business owners. The results showed that prior to the assistance, financial records were non-existent, and product promotion was limited to social media. After the assistance, the MSME began implementing Excel-based financial records, established a shop account on Shopee, and managed Instagram as a more professional promotional tool. This activity is expected to improve the effectiveness of financial management and expand the marketing reach of the Sedap t-Rasya MSME, thereby enhancing its competitiveness and sustainability amidst the increasingly competitive culinary industry.
