Abstract

His study aims to develop a website for the MSME "Oleh-Oleh 3 Putri" to enhance its digital marketing. The methodology includes partner needs analysis, interface design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the implementation of basic e-commerce features such as a product catalog (20 items), a shopping cart, and a contact page. During the development phase, 100% of the partner’s needs were met based on interviews and direct observation. Internal testing demonstrated 90% ease of navigation according to evaluations by 15 users, along with an 80% improvement in the MSME owner’s knowledge in managing website content through intensive training. Although not yet officially launched, 95% positive feedback was obtained from potential customers regarding visual design and product information through a limited survey. Technical challenges such as payment integration and cybersecurity have been identified as priorities for further development. The main conclusion is that the website is ready to serve as a digital marketing tool for the MSME, with recommendations for phased implementation and ongoing technical support.

Abstract

School security is a crucial aspect in creating a safe and conducive learning environment. One significant threat to school security is natural disasters, which can occur suddenly and jeopardise the safety of students and staff. This service activity aims to develop and implement an Arduino-based disaster early detection system at SMK Swasta Pulau Berayan Darat Medan. The system is designed to provide real-time warnings of potential disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and floods through the integration of various sensors linked to alarms and notifications. The main contribution of this activity is the availability of disaster detection devices that are cheap, adaptive, and easy to operate by the school. The implementation of the system succeeded in increasing the alertness of the school community, as shown by an 85% increase in understanding of evacuation procedures based on the results of questionnaires before and after the training. In addition, 95% of respondents stated that the system provides a sense of security. These results show that the Arduino-based disaster early detection system has the potential to become a security model that can be implemented in other schools to support the creation of a safer and more disaster-responsive educational environment.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve community knowledge and skills in environmentally friendly melon farming using cocopeat fertilizer. Melon are horticultural commodities with high economic value that require proper planting and fertilization techniques to produce optimal production. The community service methodology is carried out through an educational, demonstrative, and direct practice approach in melon planting fields 50 participants. Training participants are given education, theory and direct practice regarding the preparation of planting media, fertilization methods, and direct fertilization of melon using cocopeat as a base fertilizer. Cocopeat has a high water and nutrient absorption capacity, so it can increase fertilization efficiency and soil fertility. The results of the community service activity show that overall around 75-90% of participants are able to understand and practice melon farming techniques using cocopeat properly and correctly. In addition, as many 85% of participants after in this training are able to understand the benefits of using cocopeat , the positive impacts, environmentally friendly, easy to obtain, cheap and effective and can increase the growth of melon. This community service activity is expected to be the first step in encouraging sustainable melon farming to increase the income of farmers. The conclusion of the community service activity regarding training and education on planting and fertilizing melon with cocopeat is very useful for participants and at the same time as a catalyst for change in terms of diversification of waste from coconut processing as the main raw material in making organic fertilizer which has utility value as a basic fertilizer for melon, so that participants can know and be motivated to realize an environmentally melon system.

Abstract

This community service program is designed to increase the ideological resilience of SMPN 2 Pasuruan Regency students through training and mentoring of religious moderation based on a growth mindset. Using an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, this activity focuses on utilizing local potential and involves all school stakeholders. The program, which lasts for four months (February-May 2025), involves 120 students in grades VII and VIII through various intervention methods such as interactive workshops, focus group discussions, and project-based learning. The results of the program evaluation showed significant improvements in various indicators: understanding of religious moderation increased from 78.5% to 92.3%, attitudes of tolerance between religious communities increased from 65.2% to 88.7%, and resistance to radicalism jumped from 45.8% to 81.4%. This success is supported by several key factors, including a holistic approach that combines cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, as well as the active involvement of teachers, parents, and local community leaders. This program makes a real contribution in shaping the character of moderate and tolerant students, while strengthening their ideological resilience. Through the ABCD approach, all activities are designed to be sustainable by utilizing the resources available in the school and the surrounding environment. The success of this program is a model that can be replicated in other schools to strengthen religious moderation among the young generation of Indonesians.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity was motivated by the low competence of teachers in designing ICT-based learning media, especially the use of the Canva application at MI Islahul Ummah Pranti Sedati Sidoarjo. This problem is caused by the generation gap and the limited digital literacy of senior teachers. The purpose of this activity is to improve teachers' skills in utilizing technology through training in creating ICT-based learning media using Canva. The activity was carried out using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method which includes needs analysis, intensive training, practical assistance, and evaluation. The contribution of this activity lies in empowering teachers to be able to produce digital teaching media independently and foster a culture of digital literacy in the school environment. The evaluation results showed that 100% of participants succeeded in creating at least one digital teaching media, 70% of teachers were able to create two or more different designs, and 85% of participants reported increased confidence in using learning technology. These findings indicate that Canva-based training is effective in improving teacher competence in integrating technology into the teaching and learning process. Abstract

The development of digital technology has influenced various aspects of life, including Islamic education and preaching. However, the lack of digital literacy among preachers and educators is a major challenge in optimizing social media and digital platforms as a means of preaching and religious marketing. The Digital Education Talkshow for Preaching and Marketing was held in response to this problem. The activity methods include interactive seminars, case studies, and question and answer sessions featuring speakers who are experts in digital preaching and content marketing. The purpose of this activity is to improve participants' competence in integrating preaching strategies and digital marketing techniques effectively. The contribution of the activity can be seen from the increased understanding of participants regarding the use of digital media for preaching and educational promotion. The evaluation results showed that 85% of the 180 participants experienced an increase in their understanding of the concept of digital preaching, and 72% stated that they were ready to implement digital marketing strategies in their preaching activities. This activity proves that an educational and practical approach can be an effective solution to answer the challenges of preaching in the digital era.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the skills of PKK members in Janti Waru Village, Sidoarjo through ecoprint technique training as a form of community empowerment based on local potential. The training adopted the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, focusing on utilizing community-owned assets such as natural materials from the surrounding environment. The training was conducted through several stages: preparation, material delivery, hands-on practice, and evaluation. Questionnaire results showed that 90% of participants strongly agreed that the training improved their skills, 65% stated that the materials were clearly delivered, and 95% of participants expressed interest in ecoprint techniques. However, only 50% of participants indicated readiness to develop ecoprint-based businesses. These findings suggest that while the training was effective in enhancing skills and interest, further mentoring is needed to encourage the establishment of independent businesses. Overall, this activity has made a positive contribution to women’s empowerment and the sustainable development of local economic potential.

Abstract

This Microsoft Office training program aims to enhance the ability of teachers at Bani Adam AS Private Elementary School in developing effective and engaging digital teaching modules. The training was conducted through a hands-on approach, covering material on text processing using Microsoft Word and the use of PowerPoint as the primary medium for preparing instructional content. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests, as well as observation of participants’ work. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding and skills in designing teaching modules that are more interactive, well-structured, and aligned with the curriculum. Furthermore, the training encouraged teachers to be more creative in presenting technology-based learning materials, thereby improving the quality of classroom instruction.  The positive impact of this activity serves as a strong foundation for organizing follow-up training programs to further expand teachers’ proficiency in using digital technologies in education.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower women from Morowali Regency through intensive training on transforming waste into economically valuable products within the framework of the creative economy. The activity was held in Surabaya for five days, involving 80 participants. The training materials covered waste sorting, recycling into handicraft products, pricing strategies, packaging, and digital marketing. The program was delivered through collaboration between lecturers from three universities and two waste management practitioners. Based on the evaluation, participants showed significant improvements in theoretical understanding (with 20% rated as excellent and 33% as good) as well as practical skills in product creation. This program not only enhanced technical skills but also fostered entrepreneurial spirit and environmental awareness. The results indicated that women have strong potential as agents of change in generating economic opportunities from household waste.

Abstract

Thie aim of this training is to  transfer the knowledge to senior high school student in testing the market systematically before launching the product.  The students were taught how to make the questionnaire  effectively, to collect data from the  potential customers and to analyze the  survey results  to understand the market preferences.  Methods used in this training are theory explanation,  practicing in making and distributing the questionnaire, and data analysis.. The result showed that questionnaire methods for testing the market which collected from 39 respondents was  the fittest market strategy is social media that reflected from most respondents who chose it. The  target output was expected that this training was not only to transfer theoretical knowledge but also the skill how to make and to distribute questionnaire to respondents could be implemented in the real world, and the students was motivated to become innovative and analytical entrepreneur.
