Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping children's character and spirituality from an early age, particularly through the ability to read the Qur'an. However, based on national survey results and observations at TPQ Syuhada in Bengkulu City, children's Qur'anic reading skills remain low, as indicated by hesitant reading, inaccurate pronunciation, and improper intonation. In fact, the IQRA method is known as an effective, gradual, and systematic approach to teaching Qur'anic reading. This study aims to describe the efforts of Community Service Program (KKN) students in optimizing the IQRA method to improve Qur'an reading skills among TPQ students. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the active involvement of KKN students through mentoring, the use of varied methods, and motivational support has a positive impact on the improvement of children's Qur'anic reading quality. Challenges such as limited time and resources were addressed through creative and adaptive approaches. These findings contribute to the development of Qur'anic learning in TPQ and the implementation of religion-based KKN programs.

Abstract

This Community Service is designed with a training design with the aim of increasing the knowledge of MTs Darussalam students about sexual violence in an Islamic perspective, as one of a series of Community Service from Fatmawati Sukarno State Islamic University Bengkulu. Held on November 2, 2024 at the MTs Darussalam class hall in Bengkulu City, with 30 participants consisting of representatives from grades 7 to 9. Facilitated by two lecturers from Fatmawati Sukarno State Islamic University Bengkulu and assisted by two students of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting from Fatmawati Sukarno State Islamic University Bengkulu. The implementation began with participant registration, opening of the event, pre-test, provision of material, continued with a question and answer session or discussion, and ended with a photo and meal together.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) continue to face a number of challenges, particularly weak organizational governance, limited managerial capacity, and inadequate implementation of transparency and accountability principles. These conditions have led to unprofessional business practices that have not yet generated optimal benefits for the community. This community service program is designed to strengthen the understanding and capacity of BUMDes managers in implementing transparent and accountable governance based on public administration principles. The program employs participatory methods, including training, interactive discussions, simulations, and question-and-answer sessions. Results indicate an increased managerial understanding of structured procedures, proper administration, and accountable reporting. Furthermore, the program fosters collective awareness of the importance of implementing openness and responsibility in organizational management. Overall, this initiative contributes to strengthening the governance of Village-Owned Enterprises, enabling them to become more professional, credible, and sustainable in supporting rural economic development.

Abstract

Divorce and broken home family structures are often associated with negative developmental outcomes in children. However, emerging scholarship suggests that children’s adjustment is influenced more significantly by post-divorce parenting quality than by family structural intactness alone. This study aims to analyze parenting patterns in broken home families through the perspective of Islamic Psychology and to synthesize them with modern developmental psychology frameworks. Using an integrative literature review methodology, this research critically examines empirical and conceptual studies on divorce, parenting styles, child adjustment, and Islamic educational thought. The findings identify three primary vulnerabilities in broken home parenting contexts: (1) inconsistency in parenting practices, (2) weakened emotional attachment, and (3) discontinuity in value transmission. Nevertheless, adaptive child development remains attainable when parenting is structured, emotionally responsive, and value-consistent. While modern developmental psychology highlights the effectiveness of authoritative parenting characterized by balanced control and warmth, Islamic Psychology expands this framework by emphasizing the concepts of fitrah, moral habituation, spiritual responsibility, and continuity of parental amanah. This study proposes an integrative value-based parenting framework consisting of four core principles: continuity of parental responsibility, balance between structure and affection, consistency of moral transmission, and reinforcement of spiritual development. Theoretically, this research contributes by bridging developmental psychology and Islamic educational thought, offering a holistic parenting paradigm applicable to broken home family contexts.

Abstract

Literacy communities in Gorontalo Province face persistent challenges in maintaining member engagement, particularly related to declining emotional bonds and loyalty among members. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a psychoeducational intervention designed to strengthen emotional bonds and loyalty among members within literacy communities across Gorontalo Province. Using a mixed-methods design, the program was preceded by a needs assessment conducted through in-depth interviews, which identified diverse professional backgrounds and inadequate bonds among members as key factors contributing to declining cohesion. The intervention was delivered as a seminar involving 40 participants representing 20 literacy communities (two delegates per community), held on September 30, 2025, at the Dulohupa Hall of the Gorontalo Provincial Language Office. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, interviews, and documentation. Results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the material, with the average score increasing from 55.02 in the pre-test to 65.17 in the post-test, representing an increase of 10.15 points. Further qualitative findings demonstrated high participant engagement, as evidenced by active discussions and the exchange of practical strategies for strengthening community bonds. These findings suggest that the psychoeducational seminar approach is an effective and contextually appropriate method for building emotional bonds and loyalty within the volunteer literacy community. This intervention is expected to have multi-layered impacts, fostering individual competency and collective empowerment, thus contributing to the long-term resilience and sustainability of the literacy movement in Gorontalo Province

Abstract

This study examines public perceptions toward people with disabilities and the critical need to increase awareness for inclusive environments in Indonesia. A descriptive quantitative survey was conducted involving 366 young adult respondents. The instrument's validity and reliability were statistically confirmed (p < 0.001). The structured questionnaire focused on social interaction frequency, emotional comfort, perceptions of equal opportunities, and the role of formal education. The results show that while respondents generally demonstrated positive interpersonal attitudes and comfort (42%), a significant portion still perceived systemic inequality in educational and employment opportunities (37%). Most notably, the majority of respondents (67%) considered formal education highly insufficient in promoting disability awareness. These findings highlight the urgent need to strengthen inclusive educational curricula and facilitate meaningful social interactions to bridge the gap between individual acceptance and structural equality.

Abstract

Digitalization of Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) governance is an urgent need to address the challenges of transparency, accountability, and professionalism in village economic management. The Sumber Kamulyan BUMDes, which manages the Umbul Pelem tourist destination in Wunut Village, still faces obstacles in manual administrative records, the lack of an integrated data management system, and a suboptimal digital branding strategy. This study aims to develop the Wunut BUMDes Information System (SIBUMDes Wunut) as an effort to modernize administrative governance while strengthening the digital branding of the tourism village. The method used is Business Model Canvas analysis to formulate institutional and business strategies, and the application of the Waterfall Model in the system development process, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. System testing was conducted using blackbox testing to ensure functional suitability. The results show that all key features, such as tourist data management, financial transaction recording, statistical report preparation, and social media content management, can function properly. These findings confirm that SIBUMDes Wunut not only improves administrative order but also serves as a sustainable digital promotion instrument. Thus, this system is declared feasible to be implemented and has the potential to be replicated by other villages as a model for BUMDes digitalization in order to encourage local economic independence.

Abstract

The main problem faced by partner communities in Muntang Village is the low knowledge of pregnant women related to nutritional fulfillment during pregnancy and the strong influence of myths that are not based on science, which has the potential to increase the risk of stunting. This service activity aims to increase the knowledge and awareness of pregnant women, PKK mothers, and posyandu cadres through the use of interactive multimedia nutrition education. The solution offered is the development and implementation of the BUNDACERDAS application as a digital-based educational media that contains material about the First 1000 Days of Life, the nutritional needs of pregnant women, stunting prevention, and interactive quiz features. The method used is a participatory approach through the stages of observation, socialization, training, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge by an average of 31 percent based on a comparison of pre-test and post-test in 50 participants. In addition, the participants' satisfaction level achieved an average score of 4.6 out of a scale of 5 which was included in the very satisfied category. Thus, this activity has proven to be effective in increasing community nutrition literacy and has the potential to be developed sustainably as a technology-based health education media.

Abstract

Keterampilan komunikasi Bahasa Inggris pada siswa sekolah dasar masih menghadapi tantangan, khususnya dalam pemahaman instruksi, keterbatasan kosakata, serta rendahnya kepercayaan diri dalam berbicara. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan dan capaian program English Club berbasis scaffolding sebagai bentuk intervensi pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di SD Islam Al-Azhar 57 Kota Jambi. Program dirancang dengan pendekatan komunikatif melalui tahapan pemodelan bahasa, latihan terpandu, praktik interaktif, serta presentasi lisan sederhana. Data diperoleh melalui observasi partisipasi siswa, dokumentasi kegiatan, serta hasil tugas deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan adanya perubahan partisipasi siswa dari cenderung pasif menjadi lebih aktif dalam kegiatan berbicara, peningkatan keberanian dalam menyampaikan ujaran sederhana, serta perkembangan kemampuan menyusun teks deskriptif dengan struktur yang lebih terarah. Selain itu, peningkatan juga terlihat pada aspek kelancaran (fluency), kosakata (vocabulary), dan kepercayaan diri (confidence) dalam berkomunikasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang dirancang secara terstruktur dan adaptif dapat memperkuat praktik pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di tingkat sekolah dasar. Program ini memberikan kontribusi praktis sebagai model intervensi komunikatif yang aplikatif dan kontekstual dalam mendukung pembelajaran bahasa di sekolah mitra.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan peran kreator konten dalam promosi wisata Umbul Kemanten melalui platform Instagram dengan pendekatan model AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action). Umbul Kemanten yang berlokasi di Desa Sidowayah, Kabupaten Klaten, Jawa Tengah, memiliki potensi ekologis berupa mata air alami yang jernih serta nilai budaya lokal yang kuat, namun belum terpublikasikan secara optimal sehingga visibilitas digitalnya masih rendah. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-interpretatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi konten digital (feed, Reels, Stories, dan Highlights pada akun Instagram @umbulkemanten), dokumentasi lapangan, serta analisis data sekunder dari instansi terkait. Validitas data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber, metode, dan teori, sementara analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap Attention, konten visual beresolusi tinggi efektif menarik perhatian audiens; pada tahap Interest, narasi berbasis budaya lokal seperti tradisi bancaan Jumat Kliwon mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan emosional; pada tahap Desire, testimoni pengunjung dan user-generated content berperan dalam membangun preferensi destinasi; dan pada tahap Action, penyampaian informasi praktis serta respons interaktif terhadap audiens mendorong konversi menjadi kunjungan nyata. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa model AIDA relevan sebagai kerangka komunikasi pemasaran digital bagi destinasi wisata lokal serta merekomendasikan integrasi kreator konten lokal sebagai mitra strategis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas promosi berbasis media sosial.
