This journal examines investment trends in West Java Indonesia and its influencing factors, with a focus on domestic (PMDN) and foreign direct investment (FDI). This study uses a secondary data analysis approach based on PMDN and PMA investment and then generalizes to understand the factors that influence investment decisions. Analysis of PMDN investment data from 2006 to 2023 shows a significant and consistent increasing trend, reaching a peak of IDR 88,021.9 billion in 2023. In contrast, foreign investment (FDI) shows a fluctuating trend but shows stability and gradual growth overall, especially after 2013.

This study aims to enhance the quality of critical thinking education for grade X E students at SMAN 6 Madiun through the implementation of the Games-Based Learning model. Facing the challenges of 21st-century education, it is crucial for all parties, including the government, the community, and teachers, to collaborate in improving the quality of education. This classroom action research (CAR) involves two cycles with stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research methods include direct observation, interviews with students and teachers, and evaluation of student learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted both qualitatively and quantitatively. In the first cycle, only 20 out of 37 students met the established critical understanding indicators (CUIs). After reflection and improvements in the second cycle, the number of students meeting the CUIs increased to 31, showing a 29% improvement. The results indicate that the Games-Based Learning model is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills. Implementing this model makes learning more engaging and interactive, encouraging student involvement and improving their critical thinking abilities. Based on these findings, the Games-Based Learning approach is recommended for application in other subjects, with adjustments made according to students' needs. This study concludes that with proper planning and appropriate learning strategies, the quality of education can be significantly improved..

The concept of inheritance of traits in living things is one of the biology materials that students learn in grade IX studied by biology students. Based on the results of interviews with students at UIN North Sumatra, many students experience difficulties and conceptual errors in understanding the concept of genetics (inheritance of traits), such as misunderstandings about genetic and phenotypic traits that are considered the same. The genetic button practicum is used to make it easier for students to understand the concept of the material taught. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the genetics button practicum on the psychomotor learning outcomes of students in inheritance materials at UIN North Sumatra. The design used in this study is a One-Shot Case Study design. The sample of this study is students of biology 1 UIN North Sumatra with a total of 31 students. The determination of the sample was carried out using a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study are in the form of practicum guide sheets and performance assessments. The data analysis carried out in this study is the effectiveness ratio to find out how much percentage of targets are achieved against the targets that have been set in the implementation of practice. The results of the analysis showed that the first practicum had 88% classical completeness and a classical effectiveness ratio of 117.3% and in the second practicum the classical completeness was 85% and a classical effectiveness ratio of 113.3%. This means that the use of the genetic button practicum method is effective on the psychomotor learning outcomes of students in learning biology of trait inheritance material at UIN North Sumatra

Democratic education is an important element in forming a just and inclusive society, especially in a country with high diversity like Indonesia. This research aims to explore the role of democratic education in strengthening diversity and tolerance in schools. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a focus on case studies in several junior high schools in Indonesia. The research results show that although democracy education has been integrated into the curriculum through Citizenship Education (PKN) subjects, its implementation is often still theoretical and does not facilitate active student participation. The main challenges in implementing democratic education include limited resources, lack of training for teachers, and school environments that are not yet fully inclusive. However, there are several positive initiatives that have succeeded in integrating democratic education in an innovative way, such as election-like class president elections, debate programs, and community service projects. Effective democratic education can increase tolerance, leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and students' awareness of the importance of participation in democratic life. To increase the effectiveness of democratic education, more intensive training for teachers, a more practical and participatory curriculum, and an inclusive school environment are needed. In this way, it is hoped that democratic education can form a young generation that is more inclusive, tolerant and ready to actively participate in democratic life in Indonesia.

Education is a very important factor for the development of a country. Education helps develop and improve skills and improve the quality of life and human dignity. Until now, changes have been made to the curriculum. The curriculum is considered a plan developed to facilitate the teaching and learning process which is the responsibility of the school or educational institution and its teaching staff. (Yulia, 2023). This study examines various difficulties faced by teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools. The Free Curriculum, designed to provide more flexibility and creativity in the learning process, requires significant adjustments from teachers. Some of the key challenges identified include a lack of in-depth understanding of the concept and implementation of the new curriculum, limited resources and support facilities, and resistance to changes from some teachers who are familiar with conventional methods. In addition, the high administrative burden and time constraints for professional development also complicate the situation. This study used qualitative methods with in-depth interviews of a number of elementary school teachers in various regions to collect data. Research results show that continuous support, intensive training, and adequate provision of resources are indispensable to overcome these obstacles and ensure effective and efficient implementation of the Free Curriculum.

Curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding objectives, content and learning materials as well as the methods used as guidelines for the implementation of learning activities to achieve certain educational goals. These specific goals include national education goals as well as conformity with regional characteristics, conditions and potential, educational units and students. Therefore, the curriculum is prepared by the education unit to enable the adjustment of educational programs to the needs and potential that exist in the region. The preparation of this set of subjects is adjusted to the conditions and abilities of each level of education in the implementation of such education and the need for employment. The length of time in one curriculum is usually adjusted to the aims and objectives of the implemented education system. This curriculum is intended to be able to direct education towards the intended direction and goals in learning activities as a whole. The curriculum is a guide for an educator to provide good material and knowledge to students, the curriculum also has developments and that is why the importance of the role of the curriculum must be understood

This research investigates the role of teachers in developing an independent curriculum in elementary schools (SD). Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews and observations of elementary school teachers involved in curriculum development. The research results show that teachers have a crucial role in the process of developing an independent curriculum, including identifying student needs, adapting the curriculum to the local context, using available resources effectively, as well as evaluating and improving regularly. The implication of this research is the need for ongoing support for teachers in developing an independent curriculum to ensure its relevance, sustainability and success in improving learning in elementary schools (SD).

Sandbox database adalah lingkungan pengujian yang terisolasi dari sistem produksi. Dalam pengembangan aplikasi, sandbox database memungkinkan pengembang untuk melakukan eksperimen dan pengujian tanpa mempengaruhi data atau operasi pada sistem utama. Artikel ini membahas konsep, implementasi, dan manfaat sandbox database dalam konteks pengembangan aplikasi. Melalui penelitian ini, kita akan mengeksplorasi metode manajemen sandbox database dan dampaknya terhadap efisiensi pengembangan dan keamanan data. Studi kasus dan eksperimen lapangan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sandbox database dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan mengurangi risiko gangguan pada data produksi, sehingga menjadikannya alat penting dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak.

Seiring pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia, dunia usaha harus bersaing dan menghindari out of stock bahan baku yang mengganggu produksi. Nugraha Group, didirikan pada 2020 di Sleman, memproduksi railing dari besi galvanis, stainless steel, dan aluminium. Pada 2023, mereka menghasilkan 210 railing dan menggunakan metode MRP (Material Requirements Planning) untuk meramalkan kebutuhan bahan baku dan memenuhi permintaan tepat waktu. MRP adalah sistem perencanaan kebutuhan material berdasarkan jadwal produksi. Setelah menghitung dengan tiga metode Lot Sizing (Lot For Lot, Economic Order Quantity, dan Periodic Order Quantity), metode POQ terbukti memiliki biaya persediaan terendah.
