Abstract

This community service activity carried out by lecturers and students aims to improve the understanding of hard skills and soft skills of SMK Al Ansori students in preparation for the world of work. In the era of globalization and rapid technological development, a balanced competency between technical skills (hard skills) and interpersonal skills (soft skills) is very important. This activity consists of a series of workshops, trainings, and simulations designed to provide students with hands-on experience in skills development relevant to industry demands. Through an interactive approach, students will be trained in various aspects, such as effective communication, teamwork, time management, as well as technical skills according to their majors. In addition, this activity also involves discussions with professionals in the field to provide insight into the world of work and the challenges faced. The expected outcome of this activity is an increase in students' confidence, a better understanding of the importance of the combination of hard and soft skills, and their readiness to enter the competitive world of work. Thus, this activity is expected to contribute to improving the quality of SMK Al Ansori graduates in facing future career challenges.

Abstract

UMSU KKN activities in Dusun II, Pantai Labu Village focus on developing a simple financial education program for elementary school students through the concept of saving. This program is motivated by the importance of instilling the habit of saving from an early age to form a wise young generation in managing finances. One of the innovations implemented is the  Savings Challenge, which is designed to increase students' motivation to save consistently. This competition involves all students, where they compete to save with a certain target during a predetermined period. The purpose of this program is to teach students about the importance of saving regularly and introduce the concept of simple financial planning. The method used is a participatory approach, where students are actively involved through games, stories, and group saving challenges. In addition, collaboration with teachers and parents is also an important part in ensuring the sustainability of the program. The results of this program show an increase in students' motivation to save, both at school and at home. Children not only understand the importance of saving, but are also motivated to achieve their short-term financial targets. In addition, this program also received support from teachers and parents, who felt a positive impact on students' behavior in managing their money.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of Student Worksheets in improving the communication skills of class VII SMP students. The research used (Research and Development) uses a development model carried out by Thiagarajan, Semmel, & Semmel, where this model is referred to as the 4D model, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. Data collection techniques are through observation and interviews, questionnaires, learning outcomes tests. The results of this research show that: 1) the validity of the LKPD was obtained with an average score of 89.8%, within very valid criteria. And it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning LKPD is suitable for use by students. 2) the practicality of LKPD obtained an average of 90%, which shows that LKPD is practical and provides a new atmosphere for students so that the use of LKPD is declared feasible. 3) effectiveness in terms of the effectiveness of students in following the research process using the problem based learning model and the results of research from the pretest and posttest conducted on students obtained an average score of 0.63 in the range 0.30≤(g)<0.75 with eligibility criteria "effective and moderate".

Abstract

Empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is the main key in improving the village economy in Indonesia. In Montorna Village, Pasongsongan District, Sumenep Regency, MSMEs have great potential to boost community welfare. Papaya is the one of fruits that grows in tropical areas including in Montorna Village. as fruit that has great potential to be raw material in processing products with high sell value, papaya chips can become one of product that can be developed, not only as popular snack but also it has widely marketed opportunities. In this method, we are as researcher doing assistance by using the PAR method. In the PAR method, researcher takes the KUPAR cycle, namely knowing, understanding, planning, acting and reflecting. The purposes of this this stage is to understand many issues that relevant with empowerment of MSMEs and the potential of local society. With training and mentoring program, local society can get many knowledge and skill that needed to manage their bussines efficiently. With this, researcher hopes MSMEs in Montana village can become main booster in increasing of quality society life and creat a new employment that can give great contribution in economic growth inclusively and sustainable.

Abstract

The EduMangrove community service activity at SMAN 6 Tanjungpinang aims to raise awareness and increase students' concern for the Sebauk Laut coastal environment through education by integrating creative and innovative learning multimedia in the form of documentary videos and video demonstrations about the importance of mangroves for preserving the Sebauk Laut beach from abrasion, as well as involving students in real action in a sustainable collaborative project to plant mangroves. This activity succeeded in increasing students' awareness and concern for the Sebauk Laut coastal environment. Apart from that, this activity also provides a significant increase in students' knowledge regarding the importance of the mangrove ecosystem as protecting the Sebauk Laut coastline from abrasion, as well as practical skills in planting mangroves properly and correctly in areas that are prone to abrasion. Evaluation was carried out through the distribution of pre- and post-education questionnaires, observations and interviews, which showed a significant increase in students' environmental awareness, knowledge and skills. The EduMangrove program shows the great potential of using multimedia learning in increasing environmental awareness and student involvement in coastal conservation efforts.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises or MSMEs are an important part of the economy of a region or country. By developing MSMEs it can provide its own meaning in increasing the value of a country's economic growth and can reduce the value of poverty in a country. The existence of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can be the backbone of a country's economy, because their form of business can revive a declining economy. According to Law Number 20 of 2008 concerning Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs have a very vital role in development and economic growth, but only in developing countries such as Indonesia, but also in developed countries. The main objective of this assistance is to increase the number of MSMEs that obtain NIB and Halal Certification, strengthen consumer confidence, provide guarantees in the production process for producers, increase product competitiveness, stimulate sales turnover growth, open up global marketing opportunities, and comply with government regulations regarding legality. halal business and regulations. The implementation of this mentoring program consists of three stages, namely: pre-service, implementation of mentoring and post-mentoring evaluation. Mentoring activities involve several aspects, such as providing an understanding of the importance of NIB and Halal Certification for MSMEs, assisting in managing business legality through Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and facilitating halal certification programs, and the halal logo is part of this mentoring effort. This activity is focused on MSMEs located in Singaran Pati District, Bengkulu City. Assistance was carried out between 30 May and 30 September 2024, involving 10 business actors. Through the outreach of NIB, SIINas and halal certification. As of the end of September, 3 halal certifications had been issued by the MUI based on the results of assistance and 7 were still in the process of applying for halal certification.

Abstract

The "Mangokal Holi" tradition in Toba Batak society is a ritual carried out by wealthy or well-to-do individuals to honor ancestors and mark someone as civilized. From the perspective of the Toba Batak people, this tradition is considered respect for ancestors and not worship. This research uses qualitative methods which according to Saroso (2017:47) in ( (Yusra, Zulkarnai & Sofino, 2021) Interviews are one of the techniques most widely used to collect qualitative research data. The results of the research show that the "Mangokal Holi" tradition is a practice Culture is important for the Toba Batak people, especially respecting ancestors and showing obedience to customs and not worship.

Abstract

The assistance of the Women's Farming Group (KWT) in Tambakrejo Village, Simokerto District, Surabaya City aims to utilize the potential of vegetable crops such as mustard greens, kale, Brazilian spinach, pakchoy and lettuce so that they have economic value. Through the Forum Group Discussion (FGD), innovations were proposed in processing harvested produce into vegetable juice, which not only increases economic value but also family health. The main challenge faced is the low fluctuation in prices of fresh vegetables, so innovation in processing is needed. This assistance is expected to increase the capacity of KWT members, efficient resource management, and support from the government and non-governmental organizations. Women's involvement in KWT has the opportunity to increase their economic and social role, creating independence and solidarity among members. Further development steps include product diversification, ongoing training, provision of adequate infrastructure, and environmentally friendly waste management. With innovation and collaborative support, this program is expected to be able to empower women, improve family welfare, and strengthen the local economy in a sustainable manner, providing a positive impact on society.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the book Al-Akhlaq Lil Banin volume 3 at the Sirojul Huda Islamic Boarding School in Bogor, which aims to improve the morals of i'dad class students to form the character of faith, piety and noble character. The focus is on how to implement this book in forming the character of students as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research uses qualitative methods with field studies through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by condensing data, presenting and drawing conclusions. The research results show that after studying the book and following the teacher's example of behavior, students can implement the teachings of Al-Akhlaq Lil Banin in their daily lives. The environment also plays a role as a supporting and inhibiting factor in its implementation.

Abstract

The Qur'an is a guideline for Muslims, so it is very important for Muslims to learn it. However, many students have not been able to read the Qur'an properly and correctly according to tajwid. Therefore, a fun, efficient, and effective method is needed so that they can learn the Qur'an appropriately. This study aims to find out the application of the Ummi Method at SDIT Ruhama, the process of implementing Qur'an learning in the Ummi method and the supporting and inhibiting factors for the application of the Ummi Method. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the application of the Ummi method at SDIT Ruhama runs according to the guidelines of the Ummi Foundation by following seven stages: opening, perception, concept planting, understanding, practice, evaluation, and closing. Learning is carried out classically, with teachers using props and students taking turns reading. Sessions last for 60 minutes every Monday to Friday. The success of this method is supported by adequate facilities, certified teachers, and a teacher-student ratio (1:14). However, obstacles related to facilities and infrastructure are still obstacles that need to be overcome to optimize learning.
