Abstract

                This study aims to develop interactive teaching materials for Civic Education (PPKn) based on local wisdom as an effort to strengthen critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The background of this research stems from the need for innovation in Civic Education learning that not only emphasizes conceptual understanding, but also fosters the ability to analyze, evaluate, and make decisions grounded in cultural values. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were fourth-grade students in an elementary school in Rambutan. The findings revealed that the developed interactive teaching materials obtained a very good level of feasibility based on the assessments of subject matter experts, media experts, and educational practitioners. The implementation of the product in a limited trial indicated a significant improvement in students’ critical thinking skills, as shown by test results and positive responses toward the materials. Therefore, the development of interactive Civic Education teaching materials enriched with local wisdom is proven effective in strengthening critical thinking skills and is highly relevant for use in elementary school learning.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia to provide freedom for teachers and students in the learning process. This study aims to explore the perception of teachers at Inpres Sahapikya Elementary School towards the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with 6 teachers who taught at the school. The results showed that although teachers had a positive view of the flexibility and innovation offered by the Independent Curriculum, there were a number of challenges faced, including a lack of training and support from management. This research provides valuable insights into how teachers' perceptions can affect the success of curriculum implementation in the field.

Abstract

Academic supervision has a positive influence on teacher work motivation. Effective supervision can improve teacher competence, which in turn can increase their motivation to teach. The relationship between Quality of Work Life is measured by employee participation, being given the opportunity to develop a career, being given the opportunity to resolve conflicts, having a good communication space between subordinates and superiors and fellow co-workers, a work environment that ensures health and safety and work security, getting appropriate rewards and creating pride. Teacher Quality of Work Life (QWL) refers to the pleasant or unpleasant conditions of the work environment for a teacher, which includes various aspects such as appreciation, security, working conditions, interpersonal relationships, and intrinsic meaning in work. Good QWL can improve teacher performance and contribute to job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This study is based on the gap in teacher work motivation so that the research problem is formulated, namely how do supervision and quality of work Life (QWL) affect the work motivation of teachers at SMPN Kota Baru, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province? This study aims to determine the effect of supervision and quality of work Life (QWL) on the work motivation of teachers at SMPN Kota Baru, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach using verification analysis. The study was conducted at SMPN Kota Baru, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, namely on 37 teachers. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire which was carried out from May 23 to June 23, 2025. Work motivation of teachers of SMPN Kota Baru, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province with a good category. The results of this study explain that: the implementation of academic supervision on teachers of SMPN Kota Baru, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province has been running well. Quality of work life (QWL) on teachers of SMPN Kota Baru, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province with a good category. there is a significant influence between academic supervision on teacher work motivation, tcount 2.041> ttable. There is a significant influence between price on teacher work motivation, tcount 3.510> ttable = 1.691. Academic supervision and Quality of work life (QWL) simultaneously affect teacher work motivation, Sig.= 0.005 <0.05. When academic supervision and QWL go hand in hand, the impact on motivation can be more significant.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of AMANDA socialization as a means of recording ASN Lecturer Attendance (AMANDA) for LLDIKTI Region 2 at Binadarma University. This study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method design. The use of a descriptive qualitative research design in this study was intended to describe and analyze the process of socialization of the AMANDA ASN Lecturer Attendance (AMANDA) application in LLDIKTI Region II. Data in the form of information and statements related to the research focus were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The collected data were then analyzed qualitatively by describing it in depth, guided by the established research objectives. The results show that the socialization of the AMANDA application has been quite effective through various media, such as face-to-face meetings, official circulars, and the use of online communication groups. This made it easier for ASN lecturers to understand the purpose and how to use the application, although in the initial stages there were still technical obstacles and limited understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the TikTok application by youth in shaping social behavior in Tanjung Tambak Baru Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. This study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were a group of youth aged 21-23 years who actively use social media, namely the TikTok application. The primary data in this study is a collection of information obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, while secondary data includes various literature that has relevance to the research object. Furthermore, the collected data was analyzed carefully and continuously using interactive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the TikTok application by youth in Karang Taruna in Tanjung Tambak Baru Village plays an important role in shaping their social behavior, especially in terms of communication style, level of creativity, and involvement in social activities. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) and social media usage intensity on impulsive buying in online shopping among married women in Kota Wisata Housing, Bogor. The background is based on the increasing phenomenon of impulsive buying in e-commerce, particularly triggered by FOMO and intense social media exposure among married women. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative causality research design. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. The population was married women domiciled in Kota Wisata Cibubur Housing and actively engaged in online shopping, with 209 respondents. The research instruments consisted of a FOMO scale adopted from the FoMO Scale by Przybylski et al (2013), a social media usage intensity scale adopted from the Media and Technology Usage and Attitudes Scale (MTUAS) by Rosen et al (2013), and an impulsive buying scale adopted from the Buying Impulsiveness Scale by Rook & Fisher (1995). The results showed that simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on impulsive buying (F = 183.330, p < 0.05) with 64% contribution (R² = 0.640). Partially, FOMO has a significant effect on impulsive buying (t = 10.576, p < 0.05), and social media usage intensity also has a significant effect on impulsive buying (t = 9.708, p < 0.05). The conclusion is that the higher the level of FOMO and social media usage intensity, the higher the impulsive buying behavior among married women in Kota Wisata Housing, Bogor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-control and hedonistic lifestyle on consumptive behavior among young adults in Karawang Regency. The research method used a quantitative approach with a causality design. The research sample consisted of 358 young adult participants determined using convenience sampling. The instruments used included the Indonesian version of the self-control scale by Arifin and Milla (2020), a hedonistic lifestyle scale developed by the researchers based on the aspects of hedonistic lifestyle by Wells and Tigert, and a consumptive behavior scale developed by the researchers based on the indicators of consumptive behavior by Sumartono, which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used multiple regression tests with the help of SPSS 25. The results showed that self-control and hedonistic lifestyle simultaneously had a significant effect (significance value = 0.000) on consumptive behavior (R² = 0.736). Partially, self-control had a negative effect on consumptive behavior, while hedonistic lifestyle had a positive effect. These findings confirm that consumptive behavior in early adulthood can be suppressed through increased self-control, but hedonistic tendencies actually reinforce consumptive behavior. This study contributes to the development of psychology, particularly in understanding the factors that influence consumptive behavior in early adulthood.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the relatively low learning outcomes of students in the Computer Networks and Telecommunications subject. Furthermore, low exam scores and low student engagement during the learning process are also contributing factors. This study aims to determine the effect of hybrid learning using an AI-based chatbot on improving student learning outcomes in the Computer Networks and Telecommunications subject and to determine the extent of this effect. This study employed a quantitative method, analyzing the data obtained using statistical formulas to draw conclusions. This study employed a correlational research design. Correlational research designs are able to identify relationships between independent variables and the dependent variable and determine the extent to which the independent variable can predict the dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that the use of hybrid learning using an AI-based chatbot has a positive impact on student learning outcomes in the Computer Networks and Telecommunications subject. This is demonstrated by simple linear regression analysis with a significance value (Sig.) of 0.000, less than <0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The use of hybrid learning using AI-based chatbots has an impact on improving student learning outcomes in the subject of computer networks and telecommunications, with the RSquare value of 0.660. This value indicates that the impact of hybrid learning using AI-based chatbots (X) on improving student learning outcomes in the subject of computer networks and telecommunications (Y) is 66%, while 34% of cognitive development is influenced by other variables not examined. The interpretation of the coefficient of determination (R2) shows that the value of 66% is considered strong.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the process of internalizing Environmental Awareness (EA) in elementary school students through the implementation of the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) Learning Model in the Science Curriculum. The background of the problem is the gap between students' environmental knowledge (cognitive) and minimal daily pro-environmental actions (behavior). The study used a qualitative case study method implemented at SDNU Gurah Kediri. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and key students, and analysis of student artifacts during the Create phase. The findings indicate that the RADEC Model is effective as a pedagogical vehicle that facilitates the internalization of EA by transforming passive awareness into active action. The strongest internalization mechanisms occur in the Discussion Phase, which encourages the strengthening of affective values ​​and social responsibility, and the Create Phase, which bridges science knowledge with conative behavior through the creation of concrete solutions (e.g., simple recycling or renewable energy projects). Significant improvements were found in the dimensions of students' attitudes and behaviors, where students began to view pro-environmental actions as a personal moral responsibility, not just a school assignment. It can be concluded that the RADEC Model provides a superior structured framework for simultaneously integrating science education and ecological character building in elementary schools.
