Abstract

As time goes by, the education system in Indonesia dynamically follows the times. This development can be seen from changes in the current learning curriculum. Education plays an important role in determining the future of a nation. The Indonesian education system that applies nationally functions to develop students' abilities. In this case, the education system acts as a means to improve students' intellectual, physical and emotional abilities so that they are able to contribute to nation building. National education is education based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia which is rooted in religious values, Indonesian national culture and responsive to the demands of changing times. Indonesia has its own national education system which implements 12 years of compulsory education, namely nine years of basic education which includes six years in elementary school and three years each in middle school and high school

Abstract

The aim of wahdatul 'ulum-based education is to create a comprehensive knowledge system. There are problems that have existed for a long time regarding science being based on general knowledge and science being based on religion. And many Islamic communities still hold the view that religion and Islam cannot coexist because they have different domains. Therefore, wahdatul 'ulum-based education emerged to unite the unity of knowledge. This research uses the library research method and the tahlili interpretation method. The conclusion of this research is that in the Al-Qur'an the verses that talk about wahdatul 'ulum are found in surah Al-A'raf; 172-173, Al-Imran; 190-191, Al-Ahqaf; 23, Al-Mulk; 26 where these verses illustrate that wahdatul 'ulum-based education is very important to implement and what makes ulul albab special.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the optimization of implementation carried out by students and lecturers in order to improve the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative method with a sociological approach. The results of this research are that collaboration between students and lecturers plays an important role in improving Tri Dharma in Hulu Village. Students are involved in community service activities that provide concrete solutions to local problems. Lecturers play an important role in directing relevant research and guiding students in community service projects.

Abstract

The history of science has a long journey. The progress of science is in line with the development of human civilization at that time. In the history of Ancient Civilizations such as Ancient Rome, Ancient Yuanani, Ancient India have given birth to very brilliant works and philosophers. The progress of science and technology today is evidence of the glory of past science. The purpose of this research is to describe the role of science in society and its development in ancient civilizations as well as the influence and contribution in the world of science today. The results showed that ancient civilizations have contributed greatly to world civilization, such as advances in science and technology, medicine, astronomy, mathematics and others. However, science in its journey experienced challenges and controversies including contradictions in religious and political beliefs but still developed to give direction to the world. And the legacy of science is a legacy of intellectual property to prepare ourselves to be more advanced in the future.

Abstract

The problem of this research is an effort to prove the effectiveness of the LKPD-based learning model on science content learning outcomes at SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan I. This research method is a descriptive method, the form of research is classroom action research (PTK) and is collaborative in nature, the research subjects are teachers and class IV students SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan I, numbering 24 people. This research uses direct observation techniques, and uses test question sheets as a data collection tool. The research results are based on observations through effective science learning on student learning outcomes using the PBL method assisted by LKPD. This shows that the hypothesis which states that the implementation of PBL-based science learning assisted by LKPD in class IV of SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan I is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Philosophy emerges from a crisis, where this crisis makes someone try to find the truth. Thus philosophy is a journey from one crisis to another. In existential philosophy, humans are considered as subjects. Because human reality today is influenced by various crises and is surrounded by various problems, the human form studied by existentialism is not the form that we rationalize, but the form that exists. This research aims to explain the flow of existentialism in Islamic educational philosophy. Qualitative methods were used in this research. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that existentialism is a philosophy which believes that all phenomena arise from existence. In general, existence means existence. Existence specifically is the way humans exist in the world. The way humans live in the world is different from the way things live. The object is not aware of its existence. People make everything more meaningful. To differentiate between these two ways of existence, the philosophy of existentialism states that objects "exist" while humans "exist". By understanding their existence, humans will be able to know their God well and make them the best human beings.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling is part of Education. Education and Guidance Counseling are two activities carried out in educational institutions, both formal education and non-formal education. Likewise in Islamic education, guidance and counseling is one of the topics discussed in it. Because guidance and counseling are also found in Islamic teachings which originate from the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. Not a few of the general public think that education and counseling are different, especially if they are linked to Islam. Apart from that, slanted expressions and views about Guidance and Counseling are increasingly spreading, so that their existence in several regions in Indonesia is considered completely meaningless, especially when linked to Islamic Education. Therefore, this series of articles will examine thematically between the two as a form of command/prohibition and cooperation so that awareness of the desire and recognition of Guidance and Counseling activities as one of the Islamic Education Efforts can be felt by the community.

Abstract

Science is any form of activity process towards a particular condition or situation by using tools, methods, methods and procedures. Then, it will produce new knowledge for humans themselves. Meanwhile, a knowledgeable person means a person who has knowledge, understanding, basics, and has limits to knowledge according to the way he seeks the knowledge he has. So that every human being or society during their life must experience a change, which change for the society that studies it can be an interesting or striking event and can also be something that is not interesting to discuss. Some changes occur very quickly and some are slow, changes in society can relate to social values, social norms and so on. Changes in society have existed since ancient times, but nowadays these changes are happening very quickly, so that in responding to them someone must play a role in fostering and guiding society in navigating existing and future changes. And this change cannot be separated from the role of science which continues to develop in society's life. Therefore, this series of articles will examine science and social change as a science that can provide awareness of the relevance and even integration between science and social change itself.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the comparison of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model with the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model on learning outcomes in respiratory system material in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Kota Pinang. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type of research. With a population of all class Using samples XI IPA-1 as experimental class I and XI IPA-2 as experimental class II. The instrument in this research uses a multiple choice form of learning outcomes test. The data analysis technique uses the t test at the significance level α = 0.05. The results of posttest data hypothesis testing showed that the average score for Experimental Learning Model I (Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)) = 83.3 and Experiment II (Numbered Heads Together (NHT)) = 76.7. Hypothesis testing comparing the respiratory system learning outcomes of students in Experiment I and Experiment II, obtained tcount (2.47) > ttable 2.048, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model with learning media on student activities and learning outcomes in the human respiratory system material in class XI IPA SMAS Bina Bangsa Simpang Gambus for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental design. The samples in this research were class XI IPA-A as the experimental class and class XI IPA-B as the control class. Data analysis used to determine student learning activities is by using the TCR (Respondent Achievement Level) formula and for student learning outcomes data analysis uses statistical hypothesis testing. The results of the research show that there are differences in student learning activities and student learning outcomes in the two classes. For learning outcomes, students obtained an average posttest score for the control class, namely 70, while the average posttest score for the experimental class was 84.4. Based on the results of observations of learning activities and student learning outcomes, there is an influence of the use of the Two Stay Two Stray type cooperative learning model with learning media where student learning activities in the experimental class > control class, so that Ha is accepted. Obtaining student learning outcomes through statistical hypothesis testing shows that the tcount value is 7.28 and the ttable price is 2.068, meaning tcount>ttable, so Ha is accepted.
