Abstract

Through extracurricular religious program activities in Islamic boarding schools, the aim is to enable children to broaden their knowledge of Islamic religious education and motivate students to increase their level of religiousness by participating in extracurricular activities. In addition to being able to develop the talents, interests and skills possessed by students. This research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques obtained by interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the aim of the PAI extracurricular activity is Al-Qur'an Recitations, apart from forming and deepening the students' superior skills in the field of Al-Qur'an recitations, this extracurricular activity also aims to sharpen and demonstrate the students' abilities in reading and writing the Al-Qur'an. and the abilities of the students who take part in these extracurricular activities make them an advantage in the organization. Many of them become mosque imams and get good positions in organizations such as the field of security education and especially mosque uncleanliness.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of the Think Pair Share teaching strategy in the subject of Islamic Faith and Morals at MTs PonPes Modern Darul Hikmah TPI Medan. Utilizing a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, involving observation and textual analysis, this strategy enhances student engagement and their learning outcomes. Structured steps, such as group discussions and problem-solving, demonstrate increased student involvement. Observation reveals shortcomings in the previous approach, specifically the lack of interaction between teachers and students. As a result, implementing this strategy significantly contributes to improving learning outcomes and classroom interactions. The recommendation is to adopt this model for a more interactive learning experience in the future.

Abstract

The issue of inter-religious marriage continues to be a concern among Islamic thinkers until now, becoming a discussion that does not recede, in line with the practice of such marriages which are still common among Muslims in Indonesia. The purpose of this article is to explain the status of inter-religious marriages in the perspective of Islamic law and legislation in Indonesia. This research utilizes a qualitative method using data sources from the literature (library research), which involves the collection, analysis, and interpretation of a comprehensive narrative of literature data to gain a thorough, comprehensive, and holistic understanding of the status of interfaith marriage in Indonesia. The results show that the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) has circulated a Fatwa stating that it is forbidden for Muslims, both men and women, to marry non-Muslims, including those who are People of the Book. The rationale for the Fatwa is that inter-religious marriages often cause conflicts in society and trigger conflicts of debate among Muslims. MUI's view is in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 1/1974 on Marriage and the Compilation of Islamic Law which also prohibit marriage between adherents of different religions.

Abstract

In the world of education, there is what is called learning media which is an integral part of the teaching system used in the teaching and learning process to overcome communication barriers in delivering learning materials. As a professional PAI teacher, you must be able to plan and use various learning media available around you in accordance with the desired learning objectives, one of which is by using audio media. Audio media is a media that conveys messages in the form of sound that can be received by the sense of hearing. This research can be categorized as literature research, especially in the realm of library research. This method involves collecting data through the analysis of various literary sources, not limited to books, but also includes documentation materials, magazines, journals, and newspapers. Audio media for teaching is material that contains messages in the form of auditive (vocal cords or voice discs), which can stimulate the thoughts, feelings, attention and willingness of students so that the teaching-learning process occurs. This media is able to display images and background sounds in accordance with the accompaniment of the images displayed in order to build and improve students' reasoning in mastering an event,, very suitable for use in environmental materials with past events such as SKI material, Aqidah Akhlak, Jurisprudence and Al-Quran Hadith. The use of technology can present audio messages and image visualization is the main characteristic of audio-visual media with its use so that learning is more exciting, not boring, and increases student learning outcomes.

Abstract

his research aims to find out how the coaching carried out in extracurricular tahfidz Qur'an increases motivation to memorize the Qur'an at SMA N 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The method in this research uses qualitative methods through a field approach. Researchers carry out research by describing facts that occur naturally by describing all activities carried out through a field approach, where intensive data and information collection efforts are accompanied by analysis and re-testing of everything that has been collected. The results of this research show that the extracurricular coaching of tahfidz Qur'an is carried out by the Mentors and Coaches in the extracurricular. The role played is in the form of providing motivation, gifts and praise.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interpretation of the Qur'an during the tabi'in period. This discourse is very important to study because tabi'in has an important and significant role in the field of tasfir tabiin which is the generation after the companions, because the tabiin have received interpretation from the companions directly. This research uses qualitative research with a literature study approach, The results of the study concluded that there were two models of interpretation during the tabiin period, namely the interpretation of bil-ma'tsur and bil-ro'yi while the method applied during the tabiin period was the ijmali method. So it can be concluded that the interpretation of the tabi'in era is the beginning of an interpretation involving Arab and non-Arab cultures. In addition, over time with the expansion of Islamic territory became a very important beginning of the Qur'an in the generation after Tabi'in.

Abstract

Nowhere in the Qur’an or even in the hadith does it speak about the law of post-mortems. But the fact is that currently, various criminal acts occur that lead to death, and the cause of death cannot even be known, so an autopsy is carried out. And even the practice of post-mortem surgery is carried out by medical students under the auspices of a post-mortem surgeon to determine the structure of the human body's organs. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out and explore how Islamic law views in responding to the increasingly advanced development of knowledge regarding post-mortems. This research uses library research, where the data sources used come from various books, journals and articles which are then processed and analyzed using a descriptive analysis approach. The results of this research are, basically the law prohibits post-mortems from being carried out, but to consider the public benefit, post-mortems are permitted, such as; Hifz Al-din, Hifz al-Nafs, Hifz Al-Nasl, Hifz al-Mal, and Hifz al-‘Aql

Abstract

Education has spread widely to all corners of the country, but there are still students whose character is not good and not in accordance with Islamic character. Especially during adolescence, because adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood, where children's hormones are not yet stable so they are easily influenced by surrounding conditions which results in the formation of bad character. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out and provide answers to whether strengthening faith in Allah SWT can form good character. Because getting closer to Allah SWT should be able to form good character. This research uses qualitative research, data collection was carried out by interviews at the Medan Kesatria Private Middle School. The results of this research are that the formation of good children's character is caused by the habit of cultivating religious values ​​which are carried out every day, where these activities bring children closer to Allah SWT in accordance with the first pillar of faith, namely faith in Allah SWT, because by drawing closer to Allah SWT children will be afraid of doing bad deeds so that good character can be embedded in their souls.

Abstract

Adolescence is a time of searching for identity. Therefore, children need to be directed towards positive things. One of them is memorizing the Al-Qurna so that children have morals that are in accordance with the Al-Quran, considering that nowadays many teenagers' morals deviate from the values ​​contained in the Al-Quran. The tahfidzul quran extracurricular program is a superior program offered by MTs Yayan Islamic Education Subulul Huda Saentis. Tahfidzul Koran is implemented so that children read the Koran more often and love the Koran more and practice it in their daily lives. This research aims to describe the implementation of extracurricular tahfidzul quran, the methods applied, and the implementation system of the tahfidzul quran program at MTs Islamic Education Foundation Subulul Huda Saentis. This type of research is qualitative research (Field Research), namely empirical study by going directly to the research location on the phenomena that occur. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature. Qualitative research aims to understand events experienced by research subjects, such as behavior, by means of descriptions in the form of words and language. To collect data in this research, the author used interview and documentation methods. In analyzing the data obtained from the research results, the author uses data analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the process of implementing the tahfidzul quran extracurricular program at MTs Islamic Education Foundation Subulul Huda Saentis consists of three activities: planning, implementation and evaluation. The activities implemented are in the form of rote deposits, sima'an and muraja'ah. In general, students memorize mixed methods. The factors that influence the process of tahfidzul quran activities are grouped into two, namely supporting factors and inhibiting factors.
