Abstract

Morals play a central role in forming relationships, both between humans and Allah SWT and with fellow humans. Humans have moral standards to regulate good and bad behavior. One way to teach morals is through studying the history and biography of the life of Khadijah bint Khuwailid in the book Khadijah by Abdul Mun'im Muhammad Umar. Khadijah is a role model who inspires various groups. Through his life story, moral values can be learned better. From this background, the main questions that arise are what is the personality of Khadijah bint Khuwalid, what is the concept of moral education contained in Khadijah's book, and its relevance to Islamic education in the current era. The aim of this research is to understand Khadijah's personality, understand the concept of moral education in Khadijah's book, and understand its relevance to education in the current era. In this research, the researcher applies library research methods with a qualitative approach, which examines in detail the object being researched. The approach method applied is descriptive analysis. The author uses Gadamer's hermeneutical analysis approach theory in order to gain a deeper understanding of the moral values contained in Khadijah's book. The research results show that the value of moral education in Khadijah's book includes morals towards Allah (such as monotheism, piety, remembrance, trust, and gratitude), morals towards oneself (including patience, trust, maintaining personal purity, honesty, keeping promises, and steadfastness) , as well as morals towards others (doing good and generosity). These values are very relevant to current education, in accordance with the national goal of forming a personality who is faithful, devout and has noble character. Therefore, the moral values in Khadijah's book can be a guide in the world of education today.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the concepts of freedom to learn and freedom to learn from an Islamic perspective. The research method used is the library research method. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The approach used is a descriptive study. The research results explain that Islam has never limited the learning process. This concept of freedom to learn was previously implemented by the Father of Indonesian Education, namely Ki Hadjar Dewantara. However, the concept he founded continues to undergo changes and follows changes along with changes in education ministers.

Abstract

The role of religious figures is a person who carries out da'wah both orally and in writing or deeds either individually, in groups or in the form of certain organizations or institutions. This study aims to find out how the role of religious leaders in improving youth moral development in Pamuruyan Village, Balekambang Village, Jonggol District, Bogor Regency, to find out the Solutions of Religious Leaders in improving youth moral development in Pamuruyan Village, Balekambang Village, Jonggol District, Bogor Regency, to find out how the morals of adolescents after coaching by religious leaders. This study used qualitative methods used to examine the condition of natural objects, so researchers collected data from informants religious figures. The results of observations in Pamuruyan village, Balekambang village, Jonggol district, Bogor regency, the role of religious leaders in dealing with several factors in improving adolescent moral development, including where the first factor is due to lack of attention from the family, second, environmental factors and lack of awareness of themselves in carrying out religious activities, for example praying in congregation at the mosque and following routine recitations held by religious leaders and carrying out activities Socializing, for example, working together, among others, to improve moral development aims to call and invite teenagers to participate in carrying out worship. Religious leaders can increase more activities involving teenagers, so that adolescents will be more accustomed to positive activities, which more or less reduce the negative influence on the morals of adolescents in Pamuruyan village.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the concept of building a spirit of learning based on the views of Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuzi, a leading scholar in the 13th century. He underlines the importance of an educational environment that facilitates student engagement and activity. Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuzi also emphasizes the importance of applying a holistic approach to learning that considers in a balanced manner the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual aspects of each student. By collecting data from various primary and secondary sources related to Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuzi's thoughts, this research uses a descriptive-analytical method. The results of the analysis show that Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuzi's perspective and contribution in building the spirit of learning can be useful for teachers and people who want to improve their learning spirit. In conclusion, this study emphasizes how important it is to build a strong spirit of learning in schools. Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuzi's holistic approach and perspective on intrinsic motivation can serve as a basis for building effective learning strategies. It is hoped that by understanding and applying these principles, people can achieve their learning potential optimally and develop themselves thoroughly.

Abstract

The idea of ​​the curriculum, namely the newest independent curriculum, requires teachers to be able to implement it by making changes, both in terms of teaching and teacher administration. Talking about administration, there are still many teachers found in educational institutions who do not understand the process of making administration, especially teaching modules, which are a substitute for lesson plans that are prepared systematically and impressively to achieve the expected indicators of success. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out the stages in the process of preparing independent curriculum-based teaching modules. This research uses library research which is analyzed using a descriptive analysis approach. The results of this research are that in compiling an open module you must pay attention to 3 components, namely; common components, core components, and attachments.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the 2024 independent curriculum program for PAI subjects at SMK Mulia Bakti Purwokerto. This research examines the program, implementation and impact of the independent curriculum on PAI subjects. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach with a case study design. This research carries out observations, interviews and documentation so that it can describe the research object without affecting the situation and as it is. The results of this research show the obstacles faced by schools both in terms of teacher components, infrastructure, supporting resources and of course students. However, this can be anticipated with solutions such as following training, equalizing paradigms and being consistent. In implementing the independent curriculum in PAI lessons, there are not too many changes from the previous curriculum. Student activities are the main thing or student-centered learning (student center). The sustainability of the implementation of the independent curriculum must be adjusted to the ability and consistency in its implementation. Of course, there are various obstacles and evaluation can be used as a solution in implementing the independent curriculum. As we know, the independent curriculum is a refinement of the previous curriculum. However, what makes this independent curriculum different is that there are different projects in each subject, making learning more fun and varied.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the phenomenon of internalizing the values of honesty in Islamic Religious Education learning at SDN 261 Margahayu Raya, Bandung City. By recognizing various forms of dishonesty and teaching the values of honesty from an early age, character education is expected to shape a generation that is honest, responsible, and has integrity. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, the research was conducted using interviews as the method of data collection. The results of the research show that strategies to cultivate honest character are implemented through learning that narrates examples of honesty, and through Islmaic Religious Edcation learning, students are taught to respect differences and uphold the value of harmony among people of different religions. Islmaic Religious Edcation teachers play a crucial role in shaping students' character and morals, so it is expected that students can become individuals who are faithful, pious, virtuous, and able to contribute positively to society in accordance with Islamic values. This research contributes to understanding the importance of internalizing the values of honest character in Islamic education at elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of the Tamyiz method in improving the ability to translate the Al-Qur'an. The study was conducted at MI Istiqomah Sambas Purbalingga by applying field research methods and a qualitative approach. Samples were taken purposively, involving boarding school leaders and teachers as informants, and participatory observation was carried out. The validity of the data is tested through techniques for increasing the persistence of observation, triangulation, implementation analysis, and member checking. Various data analysis techniques, including domain, taxonomic, componential, and cultural theme analysis, were used in this research. The results show that the Tamyiz method has proven to be very effective in teaching Al-Qur'an translation to both beginners and experienced students. With this method, students can translate the Al-Qur’an in just 24 hours.

Abstract

This research aims to examine Al-Qabisi's significant contribution to Islamic education through an in-depth analysis of his famous work, "Ahkam al-Muta'allimin". Al-Qabisi, a 10th-century scholar and educational thinker, offers rich insights into teaching methodology, teacher ethics, and the rights and obligations of students. Through qualitative research methods with a historical-philosophical approach, this research reveals the educational principles proposed by Al-Qabisi and their relevance in the context of contemporary Islamic education. The results of the study show that Al-Qabisi emphasizes the importance of morality and ethics in education, both for teachers and student. He also highlighted interactive and adaptive teaching methods according to students' needs and abilities. These principles, although developed in a medieval context, still have strong relevance in curriculum development and teaching methods in the modern era. This research concludes that Al-Qabisi's educational thought not only contributes to the history of Islamic education, but also offers views that can be applied in an effort to improve the current Islamic education system. Thus, Al-Qabisi's thoughts can become the basis for developing a more holistic and inclusive educational approach in the modern Islamic world.

Abstract

This research uses the ADDIE development model to develop Canva-based e-comics on dance art materials for grade III students at SD Negeri 066650 Medan in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. This research involved 30 class III students as subjects, 3 expert validations, and 1 teacher with the aim of testing the feasibility of e-comic media in dance art subjects in the independent curriculum. Validation by material experts, media experts, and question experts showed that this e-comic scored high, material experts gave a score of 47 out of 50 (91.1%), media experts gave it a score of 62 out of 65 (94%), and question experts gave it a score of 26 out of 30 (86.65%). Teachers also gave high scores for practicality tests (97%), with all aspects such as appearance, material, and language getting 'very decent' and 'valid' categories. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes as seen from the comparison of student pretest and post scores, with the validity and reliability of the questions tested using the SPSS version 26 application. This study recommends using Canva-based e-comic as an effective and interesting learning medium in supporting interactive and creative learning in elementary schools.
