Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the teacher in strengthening the character of reading in class III students through the school literacy movement at SD Negeri 14 Masalima. The method used is descriptive analysis method using data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. The research results are as follows: strengthening the character of fond of reading, strengthening curiosity, planning, implementing, and evaluating GLS, program implementation has reached 3 stages, namely the habituation, development, and learning stages. The obstacles are: Some students' motivation to read is still low, lack of initiative in students to read, lack of collection of books in the reading corner, books in the reading corner are rarely replaced and there are still some students who are still not fluent in reading. Abstract

Abstract. The Effect of Using Aurora 3D Presentation Learning Media on Science Learning Outcomes of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat Students, Gowa Regency. Thesis for the Educational Technology Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Advisor I Muhammad Nawir and Advisor II Nurindah.This study aims to determine the Effect of Using Aurora 3D Presentation Learning Media on Science Learning Outcomes of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat Gowa Regency Students. The sample in this study was class VIII students of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat for the 2021/2022 academic year, a total of 16 students. From the results of these data it can be concluded that through the Aurora 3D Presentation learning media in science learning class VIII students of Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat and gave a positive response to the learning media. Based on the results of research and data analysis regarding the comparison of statistical values ​​and comparison of learning outcomes categories, it has been proven that there is a positive effect of using Aurora 3D Presentation media on student learning outcomes in class VIII Pptq Jami'ul Qurra' Bajeng Barat, which can be seen from student learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis before using the Aurora 3D Presentation media, the average student score is still in the low interval category and after using the Aurora 3D Presentation media, the average student score is in the high interval category. It is known that the average value of the Pretest results is 28.43 and the average value of the Posttest results is 72.5 where the Posttest value is greater than the Pretest value. Furthermore, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t test formula, it is known that the tcount obtained is 15.69 with a frequency df = 16-1 = 15, at a significant level of 0.05 or 5%, the ttable is 1.753. So tcount > ttable or H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted.Keywords: Media Aurora 3D Presentation, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of Quipper Shool on student learning outcomes in science subjects on the human digestive system. Class VIII A students at SMP Negeri 1 Bissappu in the academic year 2022/2023, totaling 18 students. This research is a type of quantitative research using experimental methods as well as the media used in the study, namely Quipper School. The population in this study were all students of class VIII and class VIII A as the sample. The instrument in this study provided pre and post-test on the sample. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. Techniques Data analysis is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of research and data analysis regarding comparison of statistical scores, comparison of learning outcomes categories, and comparison of completeness levels, it has been proven that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in class VIII A of SMP Negeri 1 Bissappu. It can be seen that student learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis before using Quipper School media, student scores. below the KKM value and after using the Quipper School media the student's score increased above the KKM score. It is known that the posttest score of 80.14 is greater than the pretest score of 76.14. From the results of these data, it can be concluded that the Quipper School-based learning media in learning can have an influence on student learning outcomes in science subjects for class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Bissappu and provide a positive response to the learning media. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran blended learning terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas VII F di SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode Pre-eksperimental dengan one shot case study. Yang menggunakan perlakuan dan pengukuran terhadap suatu kelas dengan pendekatan kuantitaif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII F yang berjumlah 32 orang siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi untuk melihat aktivitas belajar siswa, dan angket untuk melihat pengaruh kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial.Hasil penelitian ini menujukan terdapat pengaruh antara minat belajar siswa dan siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran blended learning di kelas VII F SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi diperoleh bahwa nilai Sig ≥ α yaitu 0,528 ≥ 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran blended learning terhadap minat belajar siswa

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the mathematical problem solving ability of fractions in terms of learning styles in the seventh grade students of MTs Peris Ganra. Indicators of problem solving ability used in this study are (1) understanding the problem; (2) make a settlement plan; (3 carry out the plan; and (4) re-examine. Meanwhile, the visual learning style, auditory learning style, and kinesthetic learning style.This type of research is a qualitative descriptive approach. The research was carried out at MTs Peris Ganra Jl. Ganra sub-district education, Soppeng Regency. The subjects in this study amounted to 3 students who represented each of each learning style. The instruments used in this research are learning style questionnaires, problem solving tests, and interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that (1) visual subjects are able to understand the problem, are able to make plans, are able to carry out plans, and are able to make conclusions and re-evaluate the final results obtained. (2) Auditory subjects are able to understand problems, are able to make plans, are able to carry out plans, and are able to draw conclusions and re-evaluate the final results obtained. (3) Kinesthetic subjects are able to understand problems, are able to make plans, and are able to carry out plans but do not make conclusions and re-evaluating because in working on the questions students are not able to write plans before completing the completion steps on the questions and also do not re-examine the final results obtained. Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of YouTube as a learning media on students’ speaking achievement in Class X of MA Nurul Falah Air Molek. Using an experimental method with pre-test and post-test design, two classes were selected: one as the control group and the other as the experimental group. The experimental group was taught using YouTube-based materials, while the control group received conventional instruction. The results show a significant improvement in the speaking scores of the experimental group compared to the control group. This indicates that YouTube is an effective tool to enhance students’ English speaking skills.

Abstract

Early reading activities are the foundation for mastering language skills in elementary schools. This study aims to describe the implementation of early reading activities in first-grade students of SDN 78 Balang and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of its implementation. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with teachers and first-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that 75% of students have recognized vowels and consonants, but 30% still have difficulty reading independently, only being able to read when spelled. Supporting factors include the involvement of KKN students, teacher support, and the motivation of some students. Inhibiting factors are differences in ability, low motivation of some students, and minimal parental involvement. Practical implications, more personalized learning strategies and increased communication between schools and parents are needed to improve students' early reading outcomes..

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of learning models with realistic mathematical approaches to the math skills of fifth grade slow learner students at SDN Sambung Jawa 3 Makassar. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the type of research of Single Subject Research (SSR). The design used in this study is the design of A1-B-A2. The test used in this study is a written test. The technique used is using descriptive statistics and presented in the form of tables and graphs. Components used to analyze data are analysis in conditions and analysis between conditions. The results obtained in this study indicate that the learning model with a realistic mathematical approach that is applied effectively to mathematical skills in the class V slow learner students in SDN Sambung Jawa 3 Makassar. This is indicated by the percentage overlap which is 0%. Slow learner students who learn math skills (addition and subtraction) are able to understand the concepts of addition and subtraction, find solutions to the problem of the story correctly and are able to calculate correctly. The application of the learning model with a realistic mathematical approach gives progress to the mathematical skills of the slow learner students, namely students become more active and critical in solving a problem (math problem)

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to design and develop a collaborative learning model that integrates coding activities and the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) within technical vocational education as an effort to strengthen students’ twenty-first-century competencies. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach consisting of five core phases: needs analysis, model design, expert validation, limited classroom implementation, and effectiveness evaluation. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, classroom observations, and assessments of students’ competency achievements. The findings indicate that the developed model effectively enhances essential learner competencies, including digital literacy, creative problem-solving, critical thinking, communication abilities, and team collaboration skills. The integration of coding and AI supports learners in deepening their technical understanding, particularly in basic programming, logical analysis, data processing, and the application of intelligent systems to complete project-based tasks. Results from the needs analysis reveal a clear disparity between students’ existing competencies and the technological skills required by industry, reinforcing the necessity of a learning model that combines computational skills with strong collaborative practices. Expert validation provided constructive input regarding the feasibility of the model structure, the suitability of assessment instruments, and the relevance of AI integration within the vocational context. Limited implementation demonstrated measurable improvements in students’ performance, especially in designing technical solutions using coding and operating AI features such as automation, data classification, and intelligent recommendation systems. The final evaluation confirms that the model does not only strengthen learners’ technical capability but also fosters active, contextual, and industry-relevant learning experiences. The integration of this learning model is considered a strategic initiative for addressing the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. The developed model is recommended for broader application and further enhancement within adaptive vocational curricula responsive to future technological advancements. This research contributes significantly to vocational institutions by offering an innovative digital technology based instructional framework. Abstract

Abstract. Significant changes in the world of work and rapid technological advances require vocational graduates to master 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. The Independent Learning and Independent Campus (MBKM) program is a transformative innovation implemented across all vocational higher education institutions in Indonesia. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the differences in MBKM implementation in developing 21st-century skills across three strategic vocational disciplines: technology, health, and economics. The study method used was a systematic literature review of 30 recent journals and academic documents to examine the dynamics, strategies, challenges, and unique achievements of each field. The results show fundamental differences in the implementation of MBKM in each vocational study program based on curriculum characteristics, industry partnerships, and institutional responses to the unique needs of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Contextual recommendations are proposed to optimize the acceleration of 21st-century competencies in vocational education in Indonesia.
