<![CDATA[Career is an important thing in the development of an individual's life. Likewise for students who undergo career stages according to the stages of development. This service focuses on providing career guidance and counseling services that are packaged in classical guidance services and career interest aptitude tests. This service is given to class XII students of SMK Sunan Ampel Menganti Gresik. From the results of the service, it is obtained a career description that has been designed by each student and the results of the career interest aptitude test which provide an explanation regarding the career personality of each student.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity aims to overcome the problem of lack of understanding and information from the school community on the development of information technology, especially the e-learning platform that has been provided by the government. Where education itself has many functions, one of which is to familiarize students to become good individuals and have character. In order to be educated optimally, students must do good habits. Since 2020 the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) has launched a strengthening character education (PPK) movement. This movement was initiated by the government with the aim that today's young generation is not only educated academically but also morally educated. With this, students will get used to doing good habits through strengthening the character education provided by the teacher. Independence is a part of life that definitely must be attached in times like this. In addition, independence is also very influential on children's lives in the future when they are adults. These characters will make children ready to face life because armed with independence from a young age, one of the things that can be done is by training the use of the Belajar.id application to train the independence character of students at SDN Sidomulyo 1.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity aims to be able to improve the ability of students to study mathematics, Indonesian and civic education and English during the current pandemic. In this case, the free guidance course in question is learning that is carried out outside school hours and is free of charge from students. With community service activities (PKM) carried out in each Faculty, it is a program that really helps the community with things like today. Where students participate in helping to educate the nation's life. Moreover, especially in the selection of community service locations (PKM), students are required to be smarter and more literate with educational problems that occur at community service locations (PKM). From the teaching system, it appears that the condition of the school is good in teaching its students. But again, the problem of technology seems to need to be introduced and used when teaching in the classroom. With the help of these media can provide renewal for students that make them enthusiastic, active, and interested in the learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[As a form of scientific implementation in a proactive, consistent and sustainable manner in providing the maximum benefit to the community through the development of science, especially in the field of data science. The Statistics Study Program at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya provided training on visualization of school data at SMK Sepuluh Nopember. This data visualization training is needed because of the school's need for the ability to process data properly so that the information conveyed by the data can be conveyed properly by the reader. The training activities were successfully carried out as seen from the evaluation results of the pre-test and post-test scores which increased significantly. In addition, the success of the activity can also be seen from the feedback of participants who want continuous training.]]>

<![CDATA[Several studies state that fasting has many health benefits. Fasting in Ramadhan is obligatory for Muslims, therefore, fasting education for children from an early age is very important. Results of the pre-test survey, 78% of mothers (parents) didn’t know how to use the right method in training children to fast. This community service aimed at providing knowledge to mothers about training children to fast from an early age, this activity was attended by 30 mothers (parents) who were held at TK Melati Siwalanpanji Buduran Sidoarjo using a lecture method which contained recommendations for training children and implementing several methods to fast, as well as providing information about the privileges and benefits of fasting in children and followed by a question and answer session. The results of this activity showed that there was an increase, namely 90% of mothers showed good knowledge, this was supported by the response of mothers being enthusiastic and active in the activity by many questions. Conclusion: the mother was very enthusiastic about participating counselling activity on the fasting exercise method for children, and the entire series of activities had run fluent and received a good response from the school.]]>

<![CDATA[The government is taking steps to reduce the spread of the covid 19 virus. One of the efforts is to limit social activities through a lock down policy. The closure of schools and gyms as well as the cancellation of sporting events were also carried out, so that learning was carried out online. This will certainly change the physical activity that is usually active to be more passive at home. The purpose of this activity is to educate all school residents about regulating rest patterns as one of the steps to minimize the spread of covid 19. Example of an abstract text. The method used is field observation, drafting needs and licensing plans, implementing activities, and evaluating. The results of this activity were obtained that all school residents had an understanding of covid 19. All school residents were asked to apply adequate and regular rest patterns and pay attention to cleanliness both body and home environment.]]>

<![CDATA[Students who have good career planning are usually characterized by characteristics such as having (1) understanding of the world of work, (2) special interests and talents in a particular world of work, (3) personality and values related to careers. Career guidance services are guidance given to students and focused on providing assistance, especially in planning, developing, solving various career-related problems, and providing an understanding of the work in a position. Based on the implementation of community service activities, a result is obtained that this career guidance and counseling service activity can improve the ability to carry out career planning properly according to the talents and interests of students.]]>

<![CDATA[It is important for students to use educational media appropriately in order to achieve successful learning outcomes. According to observations observed at SMP PGRI Buduran, learning media are not used optimally in the classroom despite the school providing a computer with an access to the internet. In order to implement one of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the PPM team at PGRI Adi Buana University collaborates with SMP Negeri 1 Buduran Sidoarjo teachers in preparing mathematics learning media by maximizing the powerpoint features. During this activity, the PPM Team used various PowerPoint features to create learning materials, interactive quizzes, and evaluation tools, including the VBA feature, which is still very rarely used. The training was conducted well, and all participants listened and participated enthusiastically.]]>

<![CDATA[Pandemi COVID-19 meningkatkan bentuk-bentuk malnutrisi seperti defisiensi mikronutrien, dan kelebihan berat badan. Setiap orang butuh meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh dengan mengkonsumsi makanan dengan gizi seimbang. Kandungan gizi baik makro dan mikro yang ada didalam makanan diketahui dapat meningkatkan imunitas tubuh dan mengurangi risiko penyakit karena infeksi dan penyakit kronis Pengetahuan gizi serta penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi keadaan gizi seseorang. Pengetahuan merupakankekayaan intelektual yang berperan dalam memperkaya kehidupan seseorang. Setiap pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh individu diyakini akanmemengaruhi prilaku individu tersebut, dan semakin baik pengetahuan individu tersebut maka akan semakin baik pula perilakunya. Ketika seseorang guru memiliki pengetahuan gizi yang baik, maka hal tersebut akan memengaruhi tindakan mereka dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan gizimelalui konsumsi makanan hariannya. Status gizi guru di SMA Negeri 1 Krembung Kabupaten Sidoarjo rata-rata berstatus gizi baik,namun terdapat beberapa guru yang mengalami masalah kelebihan berat badan dan berat badan kurang. Kelebihan berat badan banyak dialami oleh guru laki-laki, sedangkan pada guru perempuan banyak yang mengalami masalah berat badan kurang. Masalah gizi yang dialami oleh guru di SMA Negeri 1 Krembung Kabupaten Sidoarjo di karenakan kurangnya pengetahuanmengenai penerapan pola makan dengan gizi seimbang.]]>

<![CDATA[The COVID-19 pandemic does not only affect health but also affects the system of activities in the education aspect. In the implementation of learning, these activities are carried out online. The impact is the need for online learning resources that are easily accessible by students so that learning achievement can still be achieved. One source of learning that can be obtained is by accessing the library online. However, the reality in the field is that not all schools have library databases that are processed using database software so the integration process into online libraries is still difficult to do. SMAN Menganti Gresik is one of the schools experiencing these problems. Based on this, it is necessary to arrange the initial database system owned by the school. Initial database setup is done using Ms. Access. This database arrangement activity is intended as the initial process of creating an online school library. In addition, the arrangement of this database is intended to facilitate the administrative system of activities in the school library. The library database arrangement carried out at Menganti Gresik Senior High School was carried out by making special menus for school visitors, special menus for visitors from outside the school, and special menus for users.]]>
