Abstract

From the past until now, many parents feel confused and difficult in shaping positive behavior in children. Parents also often feel unable to understand their children's behavior that always tests their patience, so it is not uncommon for parents to become angry and apply punishment to children. This has an impact on the formation of children's perceptions that become negative towards parents. The child will feel that he is not understood, causing him to behave negatively such as lying, not doing his responsibilities at home, and others. One of the efforts that can be made to improve children's positive behavior is for parents to apply effective communication to children in interaction. With this Community Service Activity, it is hoped that it can provide new understanding, knowledge and skills for parents in implementing interpersonal communication with children. Therefore, a warm relationship between parents and children can be established, so that it is followed by positive behavior in children that will also increase. Activities are carried out using the counseling method, namely interpersonal by providing understanding and knowledge related to interpersonal communication so that it becomes a new skill that parents will learn in applying communication when interacting with children. The results of this activity show that parents gain new understanding, knowledge and skills related to applying interpersonal communication when interacting with children. In addition, parents realize that the communication applied so far with children is not appropriate, causing frequent conflicts and having an impact on children's negative behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze community-based marketing strategies and partnerships undertaken by Kaliboto Green Institute, an institution engaged in goat farming, fish farming, and fermented animal feed processing in Central Java. Using a qualitative approach through case studies, this research explores the role of local communities and strategic partnerships in expanding markets and increasing product sales. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. The results show that community-based marketing is effective in strengthening local community involvement and increasing product acceptance in the market. Partnerships with cooperatives and educational institutions also contributed significantly in supporting product marketing and distribution. However, some challenges such as coordination among partners and limited resources need to be addressed to improve the success of the program. This study provides practical guidance for small and medium-sized enterprises to leverage the power of community and partnerships in marketing strategies. In addition, the findings also have implications for the development of sustainable marketing policies in the livestock and fisheries sectors.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan program penyuluhan dalam rangka kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan tema "Peningkatkan pengetahuan penggunaan teknologi dalam menghadapi peluang dan tantangan bagi Pelaku usaha UMKM” untuk memberdayakan UMKM di Desa Selomoro, Kecamatan Jenawi, Kabupaten Karanganyar dengan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan dukungan yang diperlukan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pemasaran mereka, sehingga mereka dapat bersaing secara lebih efektif di pasar global yang semakin kompetitif. Metode kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan dua metode: (a) Presentasi (materi yang disampaikan pada kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat adalah tantangan pemasaran yang dihadapi, potensi penggunaan teknologi bagi pelaku usaha UMKM, dan peluang pasar digital bagi pelaku usaha UMKM; dalam bentuk powerpoint) (b) Tanya jawab dan diskusi hasil pelaksanaan program penyuluhan adalah memberikan kesempatan bagi peserta untuk saling bertukar informasi dan mendiskusikan tantangan serta solusi yang mereka hadapi dalam menghadapi pasar digital. Pada sesi ini diharapkan Pelaku usaha UMKM di Desa Selomoro dapat mengatasi tantangan yang mereka hadapi dan memanfaatkan peluang yang tersedia untuk meningkatkan kinerja bisnis mereka secara keseluruhan. Dengan mendukung UMKM dalam mengatasi tantangan yang terkait dengan penggunaan teknologi dalam pemasaran.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bekerjasama dengan mitra UKM hasil olahan lele yang berlokasi di Kampung Lele Boyolali tepatnya di Desa Mangkubumen Tegalrejo, Kecamatan Sawit, Kabupaten Boyolali dengan jarak tempuh sekitar 25 km dari Universitas Slamet Riyadi, Surakarta. Pengabdian masyarakat kali ini lebih berfokus pada pelatihan digital marketing untuk mendukung program promosi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini akan membahas digital marketing termasuk pelatihan dalam mengaplikasikan sosial media dan e-commerce untuk melakukan promosi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu memberikan kemudahan bagi para UMKM hasil olahan lele untuk memperluas akses pemasaran hasil produk UMKM, selain itu antusias dari para peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pemasaran dan kuantitas hasil produk yang terjual. Karena dengan diterapkannya pemasaran secara digital, dapat mencapai target pasar yang lebih luas, hingga keluar daerah.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, all lines had to do 3M, namely washing hands, wearing masks and maintaining distance. The policy taken by the government during the Covid-19 pandemic was that all citizens were required to work from home to anticipate the spread of the virus. One of the impacts of this policy is the decline in the community's economy, so the government provides assistance to the community to help the economy. In order to receive this assistance, the Dukuh Village government must collect data on its residents affected by Covid-19. The data collection process cannot be carried out face to face and most Dukuh Village officials are not yet able to take advantage of technological advances. This is motivation for the service team to help provide solutions by holding training on creating Google forms for Dukuh Village officials as a medium for collecting data on residents affected by Covid-19. The aim of providing this training is so that the Dukuh Village Government can obtain valid data and continue to follow the health protocols set by the government. The hope is that the expertise possessed by Dukuh Village officials can then be used for other purposes according to the needs of the village government.

Abstract

The activity with the theme of awakening a sense of nationalism in the younger generation through socializing the values of the nation's struggle was carried out in the form of a workshop intended for members of the youth organization "Sinoman Taruna Jati" in Sajen Village, Trucuk District, Klaten Regency. This activity aims to provide an understanding of nationalism and the values of the nation's struggle for the younger generation. The method used in this activity is discussion. The stages of implementing this activity include observation, interviews, discussion and evaluation. The discussion material included global changes and their impacts, nationalism and the values of the nation's struggle. The method of carrying out activities is through lectures, questions and answers, and discussions. This activity was attended by 60 members of "Sinoman Taruna Jati". Community leaders responded very well to this activity and acknowledged that this activity had an impact on increasing the sense of nationalism of the younger generation in the Sidorejo environment, Sajen Village, Trucuk District, Klaten Regency. It is the hope of community leaders that activities like this can continue to strengthen the sense of national unity and integrity.

Abstract

The aim of the Community Service Team activities carried out in Jogorogo Village, Jogorogo District, Ngawi Regency is to explore the village's potential so that it can be used as a regional superior product and assist MSMEs who do not yet have business permits with Online Single Submission. Participants in this activity were representatives of the Jogorogo village government and MSME groups. Methods used: Preparation stage, assessment and agreement stage, action planning and activity implementation stage, action planning and activity implementation stage, evaluation stage, termination stage. The results of this service activity were the first to discover the village's potential, namely the abundance of rambutan fruit which was successfully made into processed rambutan fruit as a superior product for the Jogorogo region. Secondly, 12 MSMEs have successfully registered with the OSS for business licensing.

Abstract

The first activity carried out in this service activity was observation to determine problems in activities at PT Bali Moda Busana. Observations are only focused on the production department and some management staff. Based on the observations that have been made, it is found that the working environment at PT Bali Moda Busana, has the potential for physical hazards and the workers have not Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at work which allows work accidents. The expected results in service activities are that employees in the production department have more knowledge about Occupational Safety and Health (K3); acquire knowledge of identifying potential hazards in the workplace and preventive measures for work accidents; and gain knowledge about the types of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Based on the results of this service activity in the form of counseling, training and mentoring that has been carried out; employees of the production department, to acquire knowledge about Occupational Safety and Health (K3); acquire knowledge of identifying potential hazards in the workplace and preventive measures for work accidents; and gain knowledge about the types of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), then implement it in daily work, as the motto of work “Savety 1st”

Abstract

This community service aims to help Toko Atopia. this business started from home in Sambi, Boyolali, in facing the challenges of limited market reach and difficulties in the in-person shopping process. To overcome these problems, this community service focuses on creating an e-commerce website designed to make it easier for customers to shop online and expand Toko Atopia's market reach. With the launch of this website, it is expected to improve product accessibility, transaction efficiency, and customer shopping experience. This service method includes designing and developing an e-commerce website that includes a product catalog and important features to improve interaction with customers. In addition, the integration of WhatsApp services is designed to facilitate direct communication between customers and the store, allowing customers to ask for product information, place orders, and get help more easily.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Gunung Putri Village, Bogor Regency, with the aim of increasing the digital capacity of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through videography training. A total of 25 MSME players participated in the two-day training which included a basic introduction to videography, practice in making promotional videos, and presentation of the participants' work. The training method was conducted in a participatory manner through a combination of theoretical material, technical demonstrations, and hands-on practice. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to produce product promotion videos that were creative, informative, and in accordance with the characteristics of their respective businesses. Documentation of the activity shows the high enthusiasm of the participants, which reflects the need and interest in digital marketing skills. Despite obstacles such as limited tools and limited training time, this activity had a positive impact on improving the digital skills of MSME players, especially in the aspects of branding and promotion. This training is the first step in supporting the digital transformation of local MSMEs to expand market access and improve competitiveness in the digital economy era.
