Abstract

Nutritional status is an important factor for the health of an individual, community, and the wider community. In Indonesia, the problem of nutrition is still very high. This occurs due to a lack of interest in exploring information about healthy living and balanced nutrition so that meeting daily nutritional needs is not optimal. Based on data from the Ministry of Health, the stunting rate in Indonesia in 2023 was recorded at 21.5 percent, down only 0.1 percent from the previous year which was 21.6 percent. With these problems, we carry out counseling activities with lecture methods and practical assistance to increase the knowledge and awareness of elementary school students, precisely at SD Negeri Badean 3. The material provided regarding healthy living behavior by applying the Balanced Nutrition guidelines includes: The results obtained in this activity are that SD Negeri 3 Badean students are able to understand the balanced nutrition guidelines, Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). With this social project, students can already implement healthy living behaviors or also known as a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives.

Abstract

Children's ability to eat healthy and nutritious food is closely related to education. Education is an inseparable process as an effort to grow and develop the potential in every human being. Especially in children, education plays an important role in forming a healthy diet and good hygiene behavior. However, in several studies in Indonesia, it is not uncommon to find that there is still a lack of knowledge about healthy and nutritious food and good hand washing among elementary school students which harms their health. As in SDN Gadingsari, Binakal District, there are still many elementary school students who have a low understanding of healthy and nutritious food. The author's purpose in carrying out this social project is to socialize, provide education and understanding directly to SDN Gadingsari students about the importance of eating healthy and nutritious food and good hygiene behavior through interactive learning such as showing videos as a result of eating nutritious healthy food, washing hands, providing material on the concept of the contents of my plate, the content in nutritious food such as carbohydrates, protein, fat, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, games to gymnastics together. The results showed that the students were very enthusiastic about learning about healthy and nutritious food. It is hoped that students can apply it in their daily lives.

Abstract

The financial management training at TK Bustanul Athfal Lhong Raya aims to enhance the capacity of the school administrators in managing finances transparently and accountably. The issues faced by the administrators include a lack of skills in structuring financial documents and limited use of technology. This training involved the school principal, treasurer, teachers, and representatives from the school committee as participants, covering topics such as budgeting, cash flow recording, and the preparation of simple financial reports. The methods combined theory and practice to ensure participants could implement what they learned in their daily activities. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills in managing financial documents in a more structured and transparent manner, as evidenced by their ability to create daily cash books, annual budgets, and more systematic financial reports. Post-training monitoring confirmed that most participants had applied the taught materials in managing school finances, although further assistance is required, especially in the use of financial technology. This activity successfully established a better financial management system, increased transparency, and built trust among the community in the financial management of TK Bustanul Athfal. This training provides a strong foundation for accountable and sustainable financial management in TK Bustanul Athfal Lhong Raya Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This community service project is a program aimed at strengthening Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Santanamekar Village, designed based on the principles of digital Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The program aims to enhance the capacity and competitiveness of local MSMEs by providing comprehensive training in digital marketing, attractive product packaging, and understanding legal aspects of business operations. Through a participatory methodology, MSME actors are actively involved in every stage of the training, which fosters a sense of ownership and improves the success of program implementation. The results of the training show a significant increase in the confidence of MSME actors as well as their skills in applying digital marketing strategies and improving product quality. By leveraging digital technology, this program has the potential to open wider market access and increase the visibility of MSME products in the online realm. Additionally, support in packaging and understanding the legal aspects related to business provides a solid foundation for MSMEs to operate legally and efficiently. Overall, this program not only contributes to local economic growth but also plays a role in creating a more sustainable business environment. This program recommends the need for ongoing training and sustained support for MSMEs in Santanamekar Village to face increasingly complex challenges in the global market.

Abstract

This This training activity is important because business proposals are the main tool in business continuity, getting investors, and developing business opportunities. With the ability to prepare solid proposals and assess proposals carefully, this business proposal training can increase the chances of business success and ensure that working with the best and most appropriate proposals is in line with strategic goals. This program, through the dedication of the Wiralodra University Faculty of Economics team, helps to refine the proposal creation and assessment process, which is a key step for business growth and success. The training methodology includes an initial needs analysis of participants, practice-based learning, and post-training evaluation to assess increased understanding. The results of the training showed an increase in participants' understanding of a more organized business structure and a more targeted marketing strategy. Most participants managed to redesign their business models by focusing more on market segments and more appropriate distribution channels. This study reveals the importance of a practical approach in entrepreneurship training, especially in the application of BMC to support business development at the village level. This Business Proposal is expected to learn techniques and strategies for preparing effective business proposals and how to carefully assess incoming proposals. This program is designed to help people increase their chances of success in getting business or investment opportunities and ensure the quality of the proposals received.

Abstract

Community service aims to optimize the use of ChatGPT as a digital assistant in helping Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Al Khoiriyah students complete assignments and improve understanding of subject matter. ChatGPT, as a form of artificial intelligence technology, has the potential to provide interactive and responsive assistance in learning, which can be tailored to student needs. Through a technology-based approach, ChatGPT is expected to be able to provide clear explanations, help solve questions, and provide constructive feedback for students. This research uses qualitative methods with direct observation and interviews with teachers and students of MI Al Khoiriyah. The research results show that using ChatGPT can increase effectiveness in the learning process, especially in terms of understanding material and completing assignments. Thus, ChatGPT has the potential to be an effective tool in supporting education at the elementary level, especially for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the understanding of junior high school science teachers in Parepare City towards the immersive learning approach using artificial intelligence (AI). This activity involved 35 teachers who are members of the MGMP IPA. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews to measure teachers' perceptions of immersive learning and their level of satisfaction with the workshop held. The results of the questionnaire showed that the majority of teachers understood the concept of immersive learning, although some still had difficulty in designing and managing time in its implementation. In addition, most participants expressed high satisfaction with the materials, delivery methods, and benefits obtained from the workshop. Thus, this activity made a positive contribution to improving teacher readiness in implementing AI-based immersive learning in the classroom. The recommendation from this study is the need for further training and the development of more comprehensive learning resources to support the implementation of immersive learning at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This workshop aims to provide a platform for Mathematics teachers in Parepare City to develop their skills in designing teaching modules integrated with deep learning approaches using AI technology. The activity is organized by Pre-service Teacher Professional Education (PPG) students from Cohort 2 of 2024 at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Parepare, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Culture of Parepare City and the Mathematics MGMP (Subject Teacher Forum) for junior high schools across the city. The method used in this workshop includes hands-on sessions, discussions, and Q&A with expert speakers. The workshop was attended by 37 teachers, reflecting active participation and enthusiasm, indicating a strong motivation among the teachers to enhance their skills. The materials presented included direct application demonstrations on how to create teaching modules using AI technology, allowing the teachers to apply the knowledge directly on their own laptops.

Abstract

This activity aims to enhance the understanding of Biology teachers at the senior high school level (SMA/MA) in Parepare City regarding the deep learning approach based on artificial intelligence (AI). The implementation involved 11 participants from the MGMP Biology group, using methods such as material presentation, simulation of lesson module design, and evaluation through questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that 81.8% of participants understood the concept of deep learning; however, its practical implementation remained limited (9.1%). The participant satisfaction level reached 72.5%, indicating the success of the workshop in enriching teachers' pedagogical literacy and practical skills. This workshop contributed to bridging the gap between theory and practice and promoted innovation in designing AI-based teaching modules. The recommendations highlight the importance of continuous training and the development of technology-based learning resources to support educational transformation in the digital era.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education in Indonesia is an essential step toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. This study aims to describe the implementation of a community service-based teaching program conducted in collaboration with the Zayna Nurfirdaus Indonesia Foundation (Yazani). The program focused on enhancing students’ competencies in Mathematics, English, and Basic Computer Skills. The teaching approach was interactive and participatory, incorporating visual media, educational games, small group discussions, and formative assessments through pre-tests and post-tests. Teaching strategies were adapted to meet students’ needs, including the use of coaching cards to guide independent learning, project-based activities (such as designing name cards or simple digital posters), and hands-on simulations for computer-based lessons. Activities were designed to encourage active learning, collaboration, and increased student confidence in completing academic tasks. The program was carried out over three months (September–November 2024), involving students supported by the foundation. Evaluation results indicated significant academic improvements: average Mathematics scores increased by 60%, English scores rose from 48 to 92, and Basic Computer Skills improved by 71.7%. Additionally, observations and interviews revealed greater student motivation and engagement throughout the learning process. These findings suggest that university student involvement through adaptive, student-centered teaching methods can contribute positively to improving educational outcomes. This program demonstrates a collaborative model that supports inclusive and sustainable education at the elementary level.
