HIJM publishes only original scholarly works. Abstract

Stunting is a growth disorder in children caused by chronic nutritional problems during the first 1,000 days of life, characterized by a height shorter than the age standard. This condition is influenced by socioeconomic factors and exclusive breastfeeding history, which is defined as the provision of breast milk alone without additional food for the first six months since birth. This study aims to identify the relationship between socioeconomics and exclusive breastfeeding history with the incidence of stunting in toddlers 24-59 months in the Pantoloan Health Center working area. This research method used an analytic survey with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of all toddlers aged 24-59 months, namely 1,249 toddlers, while the sample amounted to 102 toddlers. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate tests. The results of bivariate analysis using the chi-square test showed that there was a relationship between mother's work (p=0.021) with the incidence of stunting, there was no relationship between father's education (p=236) with the incidence of stunting, there was a relationship between mother's education (p=0.097) with the incidence of stunting. there was a relationship between parental income (p=0.013), and there was a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding history (p=0.001). It is recommended for the community, especially parents and prospective parents, to prevent stunting early on. Stunting prevention is recommended to commence during pregnancy through proper planning and adequate nutritional fulfillment; meanwhile, future researchers are encouraged to utilize longitudinal designs and incorporate environmental variables to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of stunting determinants

Abstract

Digital health transformation has become an important strategy for strengthening Indonesia’s healthcare system. The development of artificial intelligence and health data interoperability offers opportunities to improve access, efficiency, service quality, and data-driven decision-making. This article aims to examine the role of artificial intelligence and data interoperability in digital health transformation, particularly in the implementation of digital health services in Indonesia through the SATUSEHAT ecosystem. This study used a narrative literature review method by analyzing relevant scientific articles, institutional reports, and policy documents published between 2020 and 2026. Data analysis was carried out using a narrative thematic synthesis approach with 5 main themes. The review shows that artificial intelligence has the potential to support diagnosis, disease risk prediction, clinical decision support, remote patient monitoring, and healthcare service efficiency. Meanwhile, data interoperability serves as a fundamental basis for integrating electronic medical records and enabling data exchange among healthcare facilities. SATUSEHAT plays an important role as a national health data ecosystem that supports standardization and integration of digital health services. However, its implementation still faces challenges related to infrastructure readiness, digital literacy, data security, patient privacy, metadata quality, and regulation. This review emphasizes that successful digital health transformation requires strong data governance, adaptive regulation, and cross-sector collaboration

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of social support and meaning in life to the psychological well-being of working elderly. The increasing number of elderly who continue to work in Indonesia is an interesting phenomenon to study because it is related to the condition of psychological well-being in old age. This study used a quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression method. The research subjects were 92 working elderly selected using quota sampling technique. Data were collected through a scale of social support, meaning in life, and psychological well-being, then analyzed simultaneously and partially. The results showed that social support and meaning in life simultaneously contributed significantly to psychological well-being in working elderly with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Partially, social support had a significant contribution to psychological well-being with a calculated t value of 7.770 > t table 1.987 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. In contrast, the meaning in life did not show a significant contribution to psychological well-being with a calculated t value of -0.026 < t table 1.987 and a significance of 0.979 > 0.05. These findings indicate that social support is an important factor in improving psychological well-being in working elderly people.

Abstract

Sales and purchasing decisions of HiLo Platinum milk in Ambon City still show fluctuating conditions, indicating variations in consumer preferences and purchasing behavior. This condition encourages the need to study the factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, brand image, and product knowledge on purchasing decisions of HiLo Platinum milk in Ambon City. The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 119 respondents who had purchased or consumed HiLo Platinum milk using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression through Jamovi software. The results showed that product quality, brand image, and product knowledge have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, with product quality being the most dominant variable. These findings indicate that health milk consumers tend to consider functional benefits, nutritional quality, and product understanding more than promotional factors alone in determining purchasing decisions. This research contributes to the development of consumer behavior studies and provides input for companies in designing marketing strategies that are oriented towards improving product quality, strengthening brand image, and consumer education.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce transactions in Indonesia increases the risk of misuse of consumer personal data. This study aims to analyze personal data protection in e-commerce transactions from the perspective of commercial law and Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (PDP Law), and to identify challenges in its implementation. The study uses a normative juridical method with a statutory regulatory, conceptual, and comparative study approach. Data were obtained through a documentary study of laws and regulations, scientific literature, journals, and related legal documents. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively through legal inventory, data classification, legal interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that before the enactment of the PDP Law, personal data protection regulations in Indonesia were still sectoral and scattered across various regulations, thus not providing adequate legal certainty. The PDP Law strengthens personal data protection by regulating data subject rights, data controller obligations, data processing mechanisms, and administrative and criminal sanctions for violations. However, the implementation of the PDP Law still faces challenges in the form of harmonization of sectoral regulations, compliance monitoring, and regulation of cross-border data transfers. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of personal data protection in the e-commerce ecosystem is not only determined by the existence of regulations, but also by institutional readiness and oversight mechanisms.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the institutional management at MTs Al Washliyah Sei Kepayang in strengthening the school's competitiveness. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of the principal, vice principal, administrative staff, and teachers directly involved in the institution's management. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data reduction was carried out by selecting and focusing information relevant to the research objectives, then the data was presented in the form of descriptive descriptions to facilitate interpretation. Furthermore, conclusions were drawn in stages based on findings obtained in the field. The results of the study indicate that institutional management at MTs Al Washliyah Sei Kepayang runs well through a clear organizational structure, the implementation of managerial functions, and the support of adequate human resources and infrastructure. Flagship programs and periodic evaluations also contribute to improving the quality of education and the institution's competitiveness, although there are still obstacles in the aspects of coordination and resource management that need to be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Ketuwinan tradition in maintaining social harmony in the Sarirejo Village community and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with an ethnographic type. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with community leaders, indigenous residents, and immigrants, and supported by secondary data in the form of related literature and documents. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and interactive conclusion drawing to gain a deep understanding of the community's social practices. The results of the study indicate that the Ketuwinan tradition is still consistently implemented as a hereditary tradition that contains the values ​​of tolerance, solidarity, and togetherness. This tradition plays an important role in strengthening social relations between residents, both indigenous and immigrant communities. Although there are differences in participation levels, this condition does not cause social conflict due to the existence of mutual respect in community life. Supporting factors for this tradition include collective awareness, community openness, and the value of togetherness, while inhibiting factors include workload, limited time, and psychological factors. The research findings indicate that the Ketuwinan tradition can be a model for strengthening social harmony in the community amidst ongoing social change.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine and analyze the concept of student intelligence from an Islamic educational perspective. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a library research approach. Data were obtained from primary sources, including the Qur'an, Hadith, and primary literature on Islamic education and intelligence theory. Secondary data were obtained from books, scientific journals, and relevant previous research. Data collection was conducted through documentation studies, while data analysis employed content analysis techniques, comprising data reduction, classification, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Islamic education views intelligence not only as an intellectual aspect (IQ), but also encompasses emotional (EQ), spiritual (SQ), and the complex potential of human beings integrated into the dimensions of 'aql, qalb, ruh, and badand. Islam places intelligence as a gift from Allah SWT that must be developed in a balanced manner through holistic education. Strategies for developing student intelligence in Islamic education include integrating the values ​​of monotheism, cultivating tadabbur and tafakkur, and fostering Islamic character in the learning process

Abstract

The development of digital marketing provides opportunities for agribusinesses to expand market reach through the utilization of various digital platforms. Jagasura Farm Tegal has used TikTok, Instagram, and WhatsApp in melon marketing, but does not yet have a structured basis for determining platform priorities. This study aims to determine the best digital platform to support melon marketing using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The study used a quantitative descriptive approach involving 3 internal respondents and 23 consumer respondents. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. Assessment criteria included market reach, promotion costs, ease of use, customer interaction, and sales effectiveness with alternative platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The results showed that sales effectiveness was the main criterion with a weight of 0.4001, followed by customer interaction with 0.3138. The results of the alternative priority calculation showed TikTok as the best platform with a score of 0.5743, followed by WhatsApp with 0.2978 and Instagram with 0.1279. The Consistency Ratio (CR) value of 0.0488 indicates a consistent assessment matrix. Thus, TikTok has become the most effective platform in supporting the marketing of Jagasura Farm Tegal melons.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce has encouraged retail businesses to utilize various digital platforms to increase sales and customer satisfaction. Gerai Taslim, a Muslim fashion retailer, uses Shopee, Tokopedia, and Lazada as online sales media, but does not yet have a structured analysis to determine the most optimal platform. This study aims to determine the best e-commerce platform based on customer satisfaction levels using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The study uses a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires to Gerai Taslim customers who have made transactions through e-commerce platforms. Assessment criteria include ease of use, product design and content, service quality, delivery speed, and transaction costs. Data were analyzed using validity, reliability, weighting, matrix normalization, and preference value calculations using the SAW method. The results showed that all instruments were declared valid and reliable. Based on the SAW calculation, Shopee obtained the highest preference value of 1,000, followed by Tokopedia at 0.907 and Lazada at 0.559. These results indicate that Shopee is the most optimal platform in supporting Gerai Taslim customer satisfaction. This research has implications as a basis for decision-making in determining more effective and targeted digital marketing strategies.
