Abstract

Childhood obesity is a growing health problem and is influenced by various factors, including eating behavior and physical activity. Emotional eating can encourage food consumption in response to emotional conditions, while physical activity plays a role in energy expenditure. This study aims to analyze the relationship between emotional eating and physical activity with obesity in students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nashrul Fajar Semarang. This study used a quantitative method with an observational analytic design and a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 40 sixth-grade students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Emotional eating data were measured using the Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire (DEBQ), while physical activity was measured using the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C). The results showed that 55% of respondents were obese, 57.5% showed no tendency to emotional eating, and 47.5% had low physical activity. The Spearman correlation test showed a significant positive relationship between emotional eating and obesity (p=0.018; r=0.371), with a low to moderate strength of the relationship. Meanwhile, physical activity was not significantly associated with obesity (p=0.229; r=-0.195), although it showed a weak negative relationship. Thus, emotional eating is associated with obesity, while physical activity did not show a significant association among the respondents in this study.

Abstract

Land holds significant economic, social, and cultural value in community life, including in the Bugis-Makassarese marriage tradition through the provision of a dowry in the form of land known as sunrang. Although the provision of sunrang is intended as a form of respect and security for women, its practice in Makassar City still raises legal issues, particularly related to unclear ownership status and potential disputes between wives, husbands, and extended families. This study aims to analyze the transfer of land rights granted as sunrang, the forms of legal protection for wives, and efforts to achieve legal certainty over the land. This study uses a normative legal research method with a statute approach, a conceptual approach, and a case approach. The analysis was conducted on laws and regulations, legal concepts, and cases relevant to the provision of land as a dowry. The results show that the provision of land as sunrang can result in a transfer of rights that requires clarity of legal status and strengthening of proof of ownership. Legal protection for wives can be strengthened by fulfilling administrative aspects, particularly the registration and recording of land rights transfers. Thus, the synergy between customary law and state law through certainty of land administration is an important step to prevent disputes and guarantee the protection of the wife's civil rights to the land she received as a marriage dowry

Abstract

Artritis gout merupakan penyakit metabolik kronis dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat secara global dan di Indonesia. Meskipun terapi komplementer semakin banyak digunakan dalam pengelolaan penyakit secara mandiri, pengetahuan pasien mengenai terapi komplementer berbasis bukti masih belum optimal. Selain itu, penelitian mengenai efektivitas edukasi kesehatan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan terapi komplementer pada pasien gout arthritis di tingkat rumah sakit masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh edukasi kesehatan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan terapi komplementer pada pasien gout arthritis di RSI Malahayati Medan. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-experimental dengan pendekatan one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel terdiri atas 40 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Intervensi berupa edukasi kesehatan multimoda selama 30–45 menit. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan terapi komplementer yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji t berpasangan dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata skor pengetahuan meningkat dari 56,8 (SD = 8,34) menjadi 84,2 (SD = 6,17), dengan hasil uji t berpasangan p = 0,001 (p < 0,05). Pendidikan kesehatan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan terapi komplementer pasien gout arthritis.

Abstract

Preparation of pregnant women in the third trimester for childbirth is an important aspect to support safe childbirth and reduce anxiety due to limited knowledge about relaxation techniques, including oxytocin massage. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the application of video digital educational media about oxytocin massage with the readiness of pregnant women in the third trimester in delivering childbirth at the Juniarsih Midwife Independent Practice, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency, in 2026. This study used a correlational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was all pregnant women in the third trimester, totaling 30 respondents selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a delivery readiness questionnaire covering physical, psychological, knowledge, and logistical aspects, then analyzed using the Fisher's Exact Test with α = 0.05. The results showed that 16 of 18 respondents (88.9%) who received the educational video had good delivery readiness, while in the group without education only 6 of 12 respondents (50.0%) had good readiness. Statistical tests showed p = 0.034 (p < 0.05), so there is a significant relationship between the application of digital educational media in the form of oxytocin massage videos and the readiness of pregnant women in the third trimester to handle childbirth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Maxim's presence on the income of conventional public transportation drivers in Sorong City. The study used a comparative quantitative approach involving 120 public transportation drivers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire containing information on income, number of passengers, operating hours, and driver perceptions before and after Maxim's presence. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, normality tests, and paired sample t-tests. The results showed that Maxim's presence had an impact on the income of conventional public transportation drivers, followed by a decrease in the number of passengers, even though the drivers' operating hours tended to increase. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significant difference in income before and after Maxim's operation (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that app-based transportation has become a form of digital disruption that affects the economic sustainability of conventional public transportation drivers. Therefore, adaptation efforts are needed through improving service quality, structuring the transportation system, ensuring fare certainty, and strengthening digital transformation so that public transportation remains competitive amidst the development of app-based transportation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ appreciation of Batik Tanjung Jabung Barat in cultural learning among ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 12 Tanjung Jabung Barat. The focus of the study includes three main aspects: knowledge, attitudes, and student engagement. This study employs a descriptive approach with a mixed descriptive model, emphasizing qualitative data as the primary data supported by simple quantitative data obtained through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The research subjects consisted of 109 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The questionnaire results indicate that the overall level of students’ appreciation falls into the "good" category with an average of 75%. In detail, the attitude aspect obtained the highest percentage at 82% (very good), the knowledge aspect at 74% (good), and the engagement aspect at 69% (moderate). The results of data analysis show that although students feel proud of wearing batik, their understanding of the philosophical meaning of local batik motifs remains limited. This study concludes that culture-based learning grounded in local wisdom has successfully fostered positive student attitudes; however, there is still an imbalance in the aspects of knowledge and engagement, thus requiring more contextual, interactive, and experience-based learning strategies to optimize students’ appreciation. This study is limited to one school and uses a descriptive approach, so the results cannot be widely generalized. Therefore, future research is recommended to involve a larger sample size and to develop practice-based learning strategies to improve students’ knowledge and engagement more effectively.

Abstract

One method or technology used to improve the quality of health services at Community Health Centers in a sustainable manner in accordance with the objectives of implementing Community Health Centers in the community is to use Electronic Medical Records (RME) (Nurhayati & Muti, 2023). The regulations governing RME in Indonesia are as follows: Minister of Health Regulation Number 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records is expected to be able to answer the challenges of health services in the field of technology. This type of research is quantitative research. This type of research aims only to find out whether there is an impact or effect produced by the independent research variable on the dependent research variable. This research was also carried out by making direct observations at the research location to collect data and then cross-checking the data that had been collected with the actual reality. This research will be carried out at the Koto Lolo Community Health Center, Sungai Banyak City. The population in this study were all users of the electronic medical record (RME) at the Koto Lolo Community Health Center, Sungai Banyak, a total of 84 officers. The research sample was all 84 users of electronic medical records (RME) who served at the Koto Lolo Community Health Center, Sungai Full City. The sampling technique is the total population where the researcher takes the entire population to become the research sample. The instruments used to collect data in this research were interview sheets, observation sheets and electronic medical record policies based on the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Decree 2022. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik puisi karya Imam Safwan serta menganalisis relevansinya sebagai bahan ajar sastra di SMA Negeri 1 Jereweh. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan strukturalisme Rene Wellek. Objek penelitian terdiri atas empat puisi pilihan, yaitu “Balada Dende Bayan”, “Mencium Mimpi, Nelayan Berwajah Sunyi”, “Sore di Tanah Enda”, dan “Keriangan Pagi di Ujung Padi”. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi dengan menganalisis unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik puisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa puisi-puisi karya Imam Safwan memiliki struktur fisik dan struktur batin yang kuat dengan penggunaan diksi lokal yang autentik dan puitis. Secara ekstrinsik, puisi-puisi tersebut memuat nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang mencerminkan kehidupan agraris dan pesisir masyarakat. Selain itu, hasil analisis relevansi menunjukkan bahwa puisi-puisi tersebut memenuhi kriteria sebagai bahan ajar sastra pada Kurikulum Merdeka berdasarkan aspek kesesuaian capaian pembelajaran, keterikatan sosiokultural, dan tingkat kematangan kognitif peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan puisi karya Imam Safwan sebagai materi ajar kontekstual untuk meningkatkan apresiasi sastra dan literasi budaya siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Jereweh tahun ajaran 2025/2026.

Abstract

Pembelajaran menulis teks berita merupakan aspek krusial dalam pengembangan kompetensi literasi siswa di tingkat SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan pelaksanaan, hambatan, serta langkah-langkah yang diambil guru dalam proses pembelajaran menulis teks berita di kelas VII SMP Islam Al-Mahmudiyah Karang Anyar pada Tahun Pelajaran 2025/2026. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kasus kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran masih bersifat formal dan berorientasi pada guru, dengan kendala utama berupa kurangnya inovasi dalam metode pengajaran, media yang digunakan, dan pengalaman langsung siswa. Upaya yang dilakukan guru meliputi pemanfaatan media digital dan pendekatan kontekstual guna meningkatkan minat dan kemampuan menulis siswa. Rekomendasi yang dapat diambil meliputi peningkatan kreativitas guru, pengembangan media pembelajaran, serta penguatan budaya literasi di lingkungan sekolah. Diharapkan, hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran menulis teks berita di SMP.

Abstract

Land-use changes surrounding industrial areas not only have physical impacts on the environment but also create significant social and economic implications for local communities. Changes occurring near cement industry in the Kemukiman Lhoknga, Aceh Besar Regency have transformed land that was previously forest into cement industrial zones, residential areas, and trade and service sectors. This study aims to analyze the influence of the cement industry on changes in land use, as well as the social and economic conditions of the community. Data were collected through primary approaches, including field observations, interviews with local community representatives, and questionnaires distributed to residents, as well as secondary approaches through satellite image interpretation, literature review, and government agency data. The results show an expansion of residential land by 66.38 ha, most of which originated from the conversion of forest land (−80.79 ha) and plantations (−5.10 ha). Social changes were reflected in the shift in community attitudes from initially rejecting to eventually accepting the presence of the cement industry. This change in attitude was driven by economic improvements, marked by expanded employment opportunities and increased community income.
