Abstract

Students can take part in community service activities (PkM) and assist village communities in developing villages, especially tourist villages, to become a developing tourist attraction and have an impact on the community's economy. On the other hand, tourist villages need to have an academic role involving students in an effort to maximize their tourism potential. Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta College of Tourism annually organizes community service activities coordinated by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). The purpose of writing this article is to describe the results obtained from carrying out a real work program in Dayakan Hamlet. The activity method used is direct observation in the field and discussion to the target of the individual work program, namely children. And using the mentoring method for the process of implementing the sculpture painting competition at the August 17 competition event. The results obtained are that the community and village managers appreciate and find that the results of student activities are very instrumental in helping the development of Watu Ledhek Tourism Village. The resulting conclusion is that students can play a role in helping the community and village managers develop tourism potential so that it can answer the needs of a tourist village.

Abstract

The Real Work Lecture (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) conducted by students of STIPRAM Yogyakarta took place in Patihan, Bantul. The individual project I undertook was creating a promotional video for camping at Goa Cemara Beach. The driving factors included raising awareness, building trust, and attracting tourist interest. The inhibiting factors encompassed limited facilities, unpredictable weather, and technical knowledge gaps. The outcome was a 3-minute promotional video shared on social media platforms, yielding positive responses and boosting visits and revenue at Goa Cemara Beach. In conclusion, social media proves effective in promoting tourism, yielding favorable impacts for the local community.

Abstract

The implementation of this community service activity is located in Sangiang Village, Beusi Pasir Village, RT. 009 RW 04 Pamarayan District, The service activity was carried out on Wednesday, August 31, 2023 at the Sangiang Village office, this activity was carried out with the involvement of the Sangiang Village community, Karang Taruna, and a team of 2023 KKM Students Group 20 and PPKn Lecturers at Banten Jaya University. This activity has the theme of Prevention of Money Political Practices in the Community of Sangiang Village, Pamarayan District, Prevention of Money Political Practices is expected to be able to become a forum for public awareness in efforts to Prevent Money Political Practices, The methods used in this service activity are Counseling and Socialization and Discussion. Counseling and Socialization began with the elaboration of legal rules regarding programs, objectives, sanctions, voter education and examples of problems that often occur in the community regarding the practice of money politics while the discussion began with brainstorming activities, lectures and questions and answers, and the final result is expected that the community can play an active role in preventing the practice of money politics in the community of Sangiang Village, Pamarayan District,  so that the upcoming democratic party in 2024 will be colored by a sense of mutual support and sportsmanship in its implementation and the community in the future will also realize the important role of public concern for this matter to be able to build a just and prosperous Indonesian country.

Abstract

This socialization is motivated by the importance of shaping the character of environmental care. Environmental care character is an effort to instill a sense of care for the environment. The character of caring for the environment is needed by everyone because by protecting the environment and caring for the environment will cause the environment to feel comfortable, avoid disease and prevent environmental damage. The school environment is the foremost educational institution in developing character education. Through school, the processes of forming and developing student character are easily seen and measured. Teachers need to teach character education at school to students because not all students get character education at home, one type of character education that needs to be applied at school is the character of caring for the environment. Seeing the importance of the character of environmental care is very necessary to be instilled early on to students starting from elementary school and junior high school. Teachers play a very important role in shaping character at school because the process of student interaction at school happens a lot with teachers, teachers are figures who are digugu and imitated by students. So the purpose of this study is to examine more deeply how the role of teachers in shaping students' environmental care character, supporting and inhibiting factors for the role of teachers in shaping students' environmental care character.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an understanding of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning child protection to prevent Cyberbullying and provide an understanding of the types, negative impacts, and prevention efforts related to Cyberbullying. This research method involves the student council of SMP NEGERI 1 Ciseeng with the implementation of socialization for two days. On the first day, the material was given about the socialization of the Law and on the second day the material was given about cyberbullying. The results showed that some student council members had experienced cyberbullying, they did not understand how to deal with the problem and overcome the trauma and how to report to the authorities. The success indicators in this community service activity increase students' understanding of the child protection law and also the prevention of cyberbullying. The students were also enthusiastic and actively participated in the smooth running of the event with a Q&A session. The results of the study showed a significant effect between the Pre-Test and Post-Test after the presentation of the material that had been delivered. In conclusion, if W count < W table then H0 is rejected or there is a difference between the Pre-Test and Post-Test.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is a form of real student service to the community. KKN activities are expected to create a tough, superior, noble personality, and can be an extraordinary person when they are involved in the community, and have a leadership spirit. This KKN is located in Sangurejo Padukuhan, Wonokerto Sub-district, Kapanewon Turi, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. Sangurejo Tourism Village is one of the tourist villages located in Sangurejo Sub-Village, Wonokerto Village, Kapanewon Turi, Sleman Regency. The author's programme is Training On The Making Of Hand Craft From Macrame Yarn For Students Sangurejo Villages. The purpose of programme training is to increase creativity and create young entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Padukuhan Jolosutro has three tourism potentials with different characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the zoning as the basis for the development of tourist areas in Padukuhan Jolosutro so that tourism development in this area can be more focused. The program implementation method used is the triangulation method. The result of the activity is a simple infographic about the zoning of tourism development in Padukuhan Jolosutro, namely the Pilgrimage Tourism Zone at the Sunan Geseng Tomb Complex, the Recreational Tourism Zone at Bukit Tinatar, and the Agro-tourism Zone in the community's farmland area. These three zones are expected to be used as the basis for the development of tourist areas in Padukuhan Jolosutro to be more focused by the theme of tourism as well as useful in making tour packages based on market segmentation.

Abstract

Rural areas as the locus of tourism development need to prepare themselves to welcome the arrival of tourists. In order to create an empowered village community, one of the initial strategies that can be implemented is through a community service programme through socialisation of community empowerment through tour guiding in Pancoh Ecotourism Village. The socialisation of tour guiding activities is delivered through lecture and discussion methods about tour guiding, what things the guide needs to prepare before meeting tourists, and ways to find out the type or characteristics of tourists. Through this community service programme, the capacity of local human resources is prepared as well as possible to receive tourist visits and be able to provide services and guides according to professional standards. This community service programme is held to create a learning space for the community to improve their knowledge and abilities in the field of tour guiding.

Abstract

The Real Work Lecture was held in Padukuhan Tilaman, Wukirsari Village, Imogiri District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. For 4 weeks and 3 days starting from 05 February to 06 March 2024. Padukuhan Tilaman is the padukuhan chosen to be the padukuhan for KKN purposes by group 5 from Cokroaminoto University Yogyakarta. The abundant village potential is one of the main objectives of implementing KKN to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in processing and developing the potential of local villages. KKN begins with a village observation process to see the potential of villages that will be targets in implementing KKN. The programs are designed sequentially starting with discussions between KKN groups, village officials and local communities, especially those that have direct contact with the programs being designed. The implementation of the KKN program is carried out in a balanced manner starting with planning, implementation and evaluation at the end of each program. The results achieved from the entire KKN program include developing community skills and helping develop Human Resources (HR) to increase the potential of local villages. In the field of education, namely tutoring programs both academically and religiously based, are implemented to develop quality human resources from an early age. Apart from that, in the religious sector, namely the empowerment of mosques and TPAs. In the environmental sector, making a plan of Tilaman hamlet. In the legal field, namely the dissemination of hoax news to the local community. In the economic sector, namely socialization about how to save and socialization of digital marketing to local MSMEs in Tilaman Hamlet, Imogiri District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province.

Abstract

The issues addressed in this community service activity encompass a range of social problems, including environmental challenges, national disintegration, and the rampant abuse of narcotics among youth, who are considered the future leaders of the nation. The emergence of these problems in Indonesia indicates a significant erosion of Pancasila values in societal, national, and state life. The specific problems identified are: (1) a lack of student understanding of the Pancasila Student Profile, (2) an increasing prevalence of intolerance within society, and (3) insufficient dissemination of the fundamental values of the Pancasila Student Profile among both teachers and students. The proposed solution in this activity is the implementation of socialization and training sessions to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile. The outcomes of these activities clearly demonstrate an improved understanding of the Pancasila Student Profile among students.
