Abstract

The availability of teaching media and the ability and creativity of teachers in using them are important factors in teaching and learning Arabic language. So that this research identifies the availability of Arabic language teaching media at the Darul Hikmah Lenggo-Lenggo Islamic boarding school, and the ability and creativity of teachers in using them. This research uses a phenomenological (qualitative) approach. The data are collected by interview and observation, and then analyzed through several stages, namely: 1. Data reduction. Data obtained from observations, interviews and document studies were concluded through the researcher's interpretation. 2. Display data. The data collected are described in the form of categories. 3. Verify the data and make conclusion. At this stage, the data are categorized and then concluded. The results of this research show that the Arabic language teaching media at the Darul Hikma Lenggo-Lenggo Islamic boarding school is very limited. It only consists whiteboard, markers, erasers and arabic books. It is not found other technological media such as LCD and electronic media. The ability and the creativity of the arabic teachers in using teaching media is also very limited. It is caused by the lack of training in using the teaching media and a lack of references regarding the use of Arabic language teaching media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi metodologi penulisan dan penyajian materi dalam buku Durusullugah ‘Arabiyyah ‘Ala At-Thariqah Al-Haditsah, serta menilai kualitasnya sebagai buku teks pelajaran bahasa Arab berdasarkan teori Greene dan Petty. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif, yang memberikan gambaran sistematis dan objektif terhadap isi buku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ini memuat materi percakapan, tata bahasa, dan morfologi yang disusun secara bertahap untuk mendukung empat keterampilan berbahasa: menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Dari segi bahasa, penggunaan Bahasa Arab dinilai mudah dipahami oleh siswa. Aspek penyajian materi cukup baik, meskipun tujuan pembelajaran hanya tercantum dalam buku panduan guru. Dari sisi fisik, buku dicetak dengan ukuran standar dan desain grafis yang cukup mendukung. Namun, masih terdapat kekurangan, seperti minimnya ilustrasi yang dapat membantu pemahaman dan meningkatkan interaktivitas pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, kualitas buku dinilai baik tetapi memerlukan perbaikan pada aspek visual dan penyampaian materi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi penulis dan penerbit dalam meningkatkan mutu buku teks Bahasa Arab

Abstract

This study aims to examine the importance of implementing Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in Arabic language learning through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The researcher analysed 30 relevant journal articles, published between 2018 to 2023, related to the effectiveness of CTL in improving Arabic language skills. The results showed that the application of the CTL method, which links learning materials to students‘ daily lives, proved effective in improving students’ learning outcomes, speaking, writing and Arabic vocabulary skills. Various studies show significant improvements in students‘ understanding of the material and academic achievement after the implementation of CTL, despite some challenges, such as limited facilities and differences in students’ abilities. The findings from this study show that despite the obstacles in its implementation, CTL can have a positive impact on Arabic language learning, both at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels. Therefore, CTL becomes one of the important approaches in Arabic language learning that should continue to be developed and implemented well

Abstract

The UN emphasizes the importance of 21st century education in building a knowledge-based society. Learning in this era is influenced by new guidelines from UNESCO, which emphasize four main elements, namely collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking (4C). One type of 21st century learning evaluation that can be applied is Project-based learning evaluation. Project-based assessment is a learning activity that involves students in making projects so that learning is centered on students and teachers act as supervisors in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of project-based learning evaluation at MA Miftahul Falah. This research is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques of observation and interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that project-based Arabic learning at MA Miftahul Falah for grades 11 IPA and 11 IPS is carried out through several stages, namely project preparation and presentation, discussion, group division, teacher supervision, and presentation of final results. Students are divided into four groups with different themes, namely في سوبرماركت (in the supermarket), في السوق التقليدي (in the traditional market), في قسم الملابس (in the clothing department), and في قسم الفواكه والخضروات (in the fruit and vegetable department). These learning stages include initial learning in the classroom, independent project work outside the classroom, and discussion of project results in the classroom

Abstract

Manajemen mutu terpadu adalah pendekatan filosofis yang berorientasi pada kepuasan pelanggan melalui perbaikan berkelanjutan. Dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Arab, implementasi manajemen mutu terpadu memberikan arahan yang lebih jelas dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Mengetahui implementasi manajemen mutu terpadu dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di madrasah aliyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus yang berfokus di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teori Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana, yang meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan konsep Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab meliputi beberapa langkah, yaitu: (1) Penentuan standar mutu, pengembangan kurikulum, serta melakukan perencanaan dan penilaian pembelajaran. (2) Perubahan budaya dan organisasi madrasah dilakukan dengan menciptakan lingkungan belajar aktif, inovatif, serta kolaboratif. (3) Menjaga hubungan baik dengan pelanggan dengan memelihara hubungan dengan komite dan instansi serta melaporkan informasi melalui media sosial. (4) Perubahan berkelanjutan melalui rapat bulanan, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan supervisi akademik.

Abstract

Arabic language learning, especially speaking skills (maharah kalam), is an important aspect in mastering a foreign language. This study aims to analyze the implementation of maharah kalam learning at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZa), including preparation, implementation, and supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that maharah kalam learning at UniSZa focuses on communication practices through the muhadatsah method, the use of digital media such as YouTube and audio, and evaluation based on communication skills. Supporting factors include the availability of technological facilities, a supportive academic environment, and a communicative approach in teaching. However, there are several obstacles such as the lack of language practice outside the classroom and the limited number of competent teaching staff. In addition, supporting programs such as mukhayyam lughawi and the use of technology in learning contribute to improving students' speaking skills. By implementing effective and innovative methods, maharah kalam learning at UniSZa can improve students' Arabic language competence so that they are more confident in cross-cultural communication.

Abstract

The learning of Arabic plays a crucial role in various fields such as religion, academics, business, and tourism. To achieve comprehensive mastery of the Arabic language, vocabulary enrichment (mufradat) serves as a fundamental basis. However, this learning process often faces challenges, particularly in the aspect of vocabulary acquisition. This study aims to analyze the features of the Fun Easy Learn Arabic application, evaluate its impact on Arabic vocabulary learning, and identify its strengths and limitations. The method employed is a literature review with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through documentation methods and analyzed using content analysis. The Fun Easy Learn Arabic application integrates modern technology with educational game-based learning methods to enhance Arabic language skills. It combines visual, audio, and kinesthetic elements into a comprehensive multisensory approach. Features such as flashcards, interactive quizzes, and educational games facilitate enjoyable and structured learning processes, improving memory retention through principles of spaced repetition and dual coding. Overall, the Fun Easy Learn Arabic application can serve as an effective learning medium to enhance Arabic vocabulary acquisition, especially when used as a complement to broader learning methods. The integration of technology in foreign language learning offers significant potential to boost students' motivation and learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis efektivitas gamifikasi duolingo untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal kosa kata bahasa arab pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Al-Islam 1 Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Pra-eksperimental. Desain penelitian menggunakan one-group pretest-posttest yang melibatkan 30 siswa sebagai sampel. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pretest dan posttest untuk mengetahui hasil analisis penguasaan kosakata siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil analisis data menunjukan peningkatan signifikan dalam nilai posttest dengan rerata (74,33), dibandingkan hasil rerata pretest (54,00), dengan nilai signifikan hanya 0,000 > 0,05 keterangan hipotesis Ha diterima. Peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai kosakata menunjukan bahwa gamifikasi duolingo efektif meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa arab. Gamifikasi duolingo memotivasi antusias siswa menguasai kosakata secara fleksibel sehingga media pembelajaran ini dapat diakses diluar kelas. Penelitian ini menemukan bawah gamifikasi pada aplikasi duolingo mampu membuat siswa lebih aktif dan cepat menangkap kosakata baru pada pembelajaran bahasa arab. Studi ini menunjukan kontribusi dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa arab pada siswa

Abstract

This research aims to explain the influence of differentiated learning on Arabic language learning outcomes in Pesantren Modern Terpadu Hamka Padang. It employs a quantitative apporoach using correlational methods. Data collection tools are observations, questionnaire, interviews, and documents. The results of the research show that: 1) The implementation of differentiated learning is in the 'adequate' category. This means that it is fairly in line with expectations but still needs improvement in the differentiation of content, process, and product. Meanwhile, the learning environment aspect is already good. 2) The average learning outcome of students at Pesantren Modern Terpadu Hamka Padang Senior High School in the affective aspect was 3,32, categorized as 'very good'. 3) Hypothesis testing using simple regression analysis indicates that differentiated learning has influence on learning outcomes, it was known from the F-calculated value being greater than the F-table value in the affective aspects, meaning that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. The R Square value shows that differentiated learning contributes 21,2% to affective outcomes. Learning outcomes are primarily influenced by other internal and external factors

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the interrelation between syntax, semantics, and pragmatics within the structure of nominal sentences (jumlah ismiyyah). Employing a syntactic-pragmatic approach, the research examines how the grammatical construction of nominal sentences influences meaning and interpretation within specific contextual frameworks. This study adopts a library research methodology, with data drawn from Qur'anic verses containing nominal sentence patterns found in Surah al-Ma'arij. Through comprehensive analysis, the study reveals that Surah al-Ma'arij features a variety of nominal sentence structures, each associated with distinct pragmatic functions. These include the expression of specification (taḫṣīṣ), continuity and permanence (al-istimrār wa al-dawām), emphasis and caution (al-ihtimām wa al-ʿināyah), as well as the acceleration of joy or adversity (litaʿjīl al-masarrat aw al-masāʾah). The findings demonstrate that nominal sentences in the Qur'anic context do not merely convey static information but also embody pragmatic dimensions that enhance the communicative impact of the text. Accordingly, this study underscores the significance of syntactic-pragmatic analysis in elucidating the intricate relationship between linguistic form and communicative function, particularly in the interpretation of religious texts such as the Qur'an
