Abstract

This a This activity is a manifestation of the duties and responsibilities of lecturers in implementing the program Tri dharma perguruan tinggi, which consists of education, research and community service, as mandated by law. The aim of this activity is to reduce the burden on the Government in order to overcome the high unemployment rate among vocational school graduates in Indonesia, with a focus on SMK N 25 South Jakarta. Mismatch of graduate skills with market needs, is one of the main causes of high unemployment rates. The implementation of this community service is carried out using a contextual model or approach that connects market needs with the skills provision of students SMK N 25 South Jakarta. A team of lecturers from Mercu Buana University, Jakarta, Faculty of Economics and Business, held socialization training and application of PSAK 109 regarding zakat, infaq and alms accounting at zakat management organizations (OPZ) as a form of digital transformation and professionalism in accounting for the younger generation, for students SMK N 25 South Jakarta, with stages: preparation, planning, coordination, providing direct explanations and training at school, and evaluating implementation results. The results of the implementation showed that as many as 90% (ninety percent) of the students who took part in this activity understood or understood well the theme that had been presented by the Lecturer Team at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mercu Buana University, Jakarta. This training has succeeded in equipping students with relevant and up-to-date skills, thereby reducing the gap between vocational education and labor market needs.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu kewajiban dosen untuk dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, Program tersebut setiap tahun telah rutin dilaksanakan, pada tahun ini pelaksanaan kegiatan  dilakukan bersama dengan tim lain di SMKN 25, Jakarta.  Adapun thema besar dari program ini adalah  “Praktik Akuntan & Persiapan Dunia Kerja” dan thema Tim kami adalah Berkarir sebagai Akuntan Profesional setelah menjadi alumni SMKN 25 Jakarta. Pelaksanaan kegiatan telah dilakukan  pada hari Kamis, tanggal 30 Mei 2024, beserta team lain. Acara dibuka secara bersama oleh Kepala Sekolah dan LPPM UMB, Para peserta sangat berantusias saat pelaksanaan acara karena mendapatkan motivasi dan diberikan pengarahan untuk berkarir sebagai Akuntan Profesional dengan bisa berkesempatan bisa berkarir di berbagai  Lembaga Pemerintah, BUMN/BUMD, Perusahaan Swasta, Kantor Akuntan Publik bahkan di Kantor Jasa Akuntan. Berkat antusiasme para peserta didik kelas 11 merupakan genersi muda milenial yang hadir pada acara tersebut telah termotivasi dan bertambah wawasan  mereka tentang peran Akuntan di masa depan yang akan mereka arungi menata kehidupan, sehingga para anak didik tersebut bisa dan mampu menjadi Akuntan yang handal dan professional yang  bertugas pada berbagai bidang di lembaga dan institusi serta perusahaan yang berintegritas, amanah dan bertanggungjawab, serta bekerja secara professional.

Abstract

Program Gebyar Beasiswa Studi Bahasa Internasional untuk Umum bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa peserta melalui pelatihan dan pembelajaran intensif. Program ini diadakan oleh CILAD pada tahun 2021 dan menyasar peserta dari berbagai latar belakang untuk memberikan kesempatan belajar bahasa asing yang terstruktur dan terjangkau. Metode pelaksanaan program melibatkan seleksi peserta, penyediaan materi ajar berkualitas, dan evaluasi berkala untuk mengukur hasil pembelajaran. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan berbahasa peserta, baik dalam aspek berbicara, mendengarkan, membaca, maupun menulis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa program beasiswa ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa peserta dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan kemampuan komunikasi mereka di tingkat internasional.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly impacted various sectors, including theinvitation printing industry. With the increasing use of the internet in Indonesia, digital invitation businesseshave become an attractive opportunity, offering practicality and cost efficiency compared to traditional printedinvitations. This writing aims to explore the development of digital invitation cards as an independent business,focusing on appealing designs and effective marketing strategies through online platforms and social media.Through literature study methods and the implementation of community service programs, it was found thatdigital invitations have several advantages. These advantages include lower costs, easy access, and customizableinteractive features such as animations, videos, and direct links to important event information. The importanceof implementing communicative and interactive designs is key to attracting consumer attention. An attractivedesign not only serves as a visual appeal but also conveys information more clearly and effectively.Additionally, using social media as a marketing channel can enhance market reach, allowing for rapiddissemination of digital invitations to a wider audience. With the right approach, digital invitation businessescan meet the market's growing demand for digital solutions. Innovation in design and marketing will create newbusiness opportunities for individuals or groups looking to leverage information technology, making thisindustry increasingly relevant in today's digital era. Community involvement in this process can also strengthenlocal communities and enhance digital literacy among users.

Abstract

Intellectual property has an important role in supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Small and Medium Industry Entrepreneurs in Cipete Village, Curug District, Serang City produce Kerupuk Tangkil (Krutang) from melinjo fruit, but they do not yet have an official brand. The Community Partnership Program activities carried out aim to provide assistance in making collective trademark through One Village One Brand (OVOB) for local food small and medium industry in Serang City, especially Krutang small and medium industry. This program was conducted through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage involved visits to Cipete Village and small and medium industry of Krutang. The implementation stage included socialization on collective trademark and One Village One Brand program. The evaluation stage focused on collective trademark registration and its utilization for business development. The result of the program is the association with the collective trademark name and logo that has been agreed upon. The results show that collective trademark registration is very important to protect products and increase competitiveness. The service contributes significantly to the development of small and medium industry by providing practical guidance to utilize intellectual property.

Abstract

In learning English, students often find it difficult to learn English grammar. Grammar in English lessons is considered difficult by some of them, making English less popular. Actually, when a teacher can deliver simple grammar instruction, the students will find it much easier to learn and they come to appreciate English. The purpose of this activity is to provide training to caregivers at LKSA Ar Ridho so that foster children there can be helped in understanding Grammar by providing easy Grammar teaching, which is Easy Grammar. The expected output by holding this Easy Grammar training is to increase knowledge about Grammar in English to the caregivers in order that foster children there become happy and enthusiastic in learning English which they initially considered difficult. The community service team along with the foundation's management held a discussion where the results of the discussion agreed that the community service team could organize activities that could help caregivers to be able to teach foster children to learn English easily by studying Easy Grammar. The output target resulting from this community service activity is in the form of knowledge that will be obtained by the caregivers so that they can teach the children in their care.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in 2021 impacted the increasing diversity of basic needs in society and accelerated digitalization, which has now become a lifestyle. Easy access to digital platforms for shopping, education, investment, payments, and loans has made wise financial management essential. According to data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the total distribution of online loans from Fintech Lending in Indonesia reached IDR 225.55 trillion in 2022, an increase of 44.6% from the previous year. Fintech simplifies loan access through peer-to-peer (P2P) lending products that are fast and without complicated requirements, attracting the interest of young generations. Therefore, financial literacy is crucial for Sampoerna University students to address the low level of financial understanding amid the proliferation of online loan applications. Knowledge of risk management is needed so that students can make wise and responsible financial decisions and manage their finances effectively.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk melakukan pendampingan kegiatan perencanaan perumahan warga graha indah, Kecamatan Balikpapan Utara, Kota Balikapapan. fasilitas layanan yang diberikan adalah pendampingan pembuatan gambar teknis dan pengajuan PBG. Dengan desain yang baik secara arsitektural, diharapkan mampu memenuhi persyaratan bangunan gedung. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan, yaitu studi lapangan proses desain grafis dan visualisasi. Survei lapangan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data situs, seperti mengukur luas situs dan menganalisis kondisi yang ada. Hasil pengukuran tersebut menjadi awal dari proses perencanaan dasar, yang kemudian berlanjut ke desain ruang pertemuan berupa visualisasi dan perhitungan struktur bangunan.. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah : (1) telah diperbantukan dalam proses perencanaan desain bangunan, Kecamatan Balikpapan Utara, Kota Balikpapan; (2) penyusunan rencana anggaran biaya pelaksanaan pembangunan dan perhitungan struktur bangunan Lamin; (3) dari hasil perencanaan ini akan ditindaklanjuti sebagai Artikel koran daerah yaitu desain yang kontekstual dengan lingkungannya.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Alor bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru PPKn melalui pendampingan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah berbasis hasil Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Program ini memberikan materi dan pelatihan kepada guru PPKn agar dapat menulis dan mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah dari PTK yang dilakukan di kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PPKn di Alor mengalami kendala dalam melaksanakan PTK, terutama dalam menentukan gaya belajar siswa yang tepat. Hal ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam asesmen awal, sehingga guru kesulitan memetakan gaya belajar, kemampuan, minat, dan bakat siswa. Sebagai akibatnya, guru kesulitan menyiapkan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to strengthen the capacity of the management of Islamic Boarding Schools (Pondok Pesantren) in understanding the core substance of Law No. 18 of 2019 concerning Islamic Boarding Schools, specifically at Pondok Pesantren Nurussalam Walisongo Gomang. This law is crucial for advancing and protecting the existence of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. Therefore, a thorough understanding of this law is essential for the management of boarding schools to run their organization effectively and support the quality of education provided. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. The study was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Nurussalam Walisongo Gomang, located in District X, Y Regency. The research sample includes the management of the boarding school, such as the head of the boarding school and several other administrators who are directly involved in the management and operations of the pesantren. Data collection techniques used include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentary studies related to the implementation of Law No. 18 of 2019 at the boarding school. The results of the study show that the management of Pondok Pesantren Nurussalam Walisongo Gomang has a relatively good understanding of the core substance of Law No. 18 of 2019. However, there are still areas that need improvement, particularly in the technical aspects of implementing the regulation, such as funding and human resource management in the pesantren. Intensive and routine training related to this law is needed to address these shortcomings. Additionally, establishing discussion forums and consultations with competent authorities could also strengthen the understanding of the pesantren management. Strengthening the capacity of the management in this regard is not limited to theoretical understanding but also practical application in the daily activities of the pesantren. By fully understanding the regulation, the management can be more effective in carrying out their duties, improving the quality of education, and strengthening the pesantren’s position in the national education system. Overall, this study contributes to the development of the capacity of the management of Islamic boarding schools, specifically in understanding and implementing Law No. 18 of 2019. In the future, it is expected that there will be synergy between the government, pesantren, and the community to enhance the role of pesantren in producing morally upright and high-quality generations.
