Abstract

Digital marketing training and the use of digital technologies have become essential in today’s business environment. Increasing competition requires MSMEs to adapt by improving digital literacy and skills, particularly among groups with limited prior knowledge. In this context, stakeholders play a strategic role in providing knowledge, facilities, and sustained support to enable MSMEs to leverage digital channels and expand market access. This article examines a digital marketing and digital technology utilization training program for MSME practitioners in Lhokseumawe City, covering training materials, implementation methods, benefits, impacts, participant feedback, and follow-up recommendations. The program aimed to strengthen basic digital competencies, especially digital marketing strategies and the use of digital media to promote processed food products, which are predominantly produced by women-led MSMEs. The training was implemented through cross-sector collaboration involving government, academia, and MSME communities. The results indicate a meaningful impact, reflected in increased participants’ understanding of digital marketing, stronger motivation to promote their businesses through digital media, and initial actions such as creating accounts on online platforms. These findings suggest that digital marketing and digital media training can serve as a driving force for strengthening MSME capacity. Therefore, similar programs should be continuously promoted to generate long-term benefits for the economic sustainability of MSMEs in Lhokseumawe City.

Abstract

Strengthening the quality of learning at the junior high school level is an important priority in improving educational quality, particularly in rural areas. SMP Negeri Gampong Blang Crok in Nisam District is one of the schools facing challenges such as limited teacher competence in the use of digital learning media, active learning approaches, planning instructional tools aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum, and a lack of variation in teaching methods. This community service program aims to enhance teachers’ pedagogical and professional competencies, enrich instructional strategies, strengthen classroom management, and encourage student learning participation. The program employed participatory approaches, capacity building, lesson study, and performance-based evaluation. The results indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ ability to design differentiated learning, utilize ICT-based media (Canva, PowerPoint, educational videos), and increase student engagement in the learning process. This article presents a comprehensive overview of the program’s planning, implementation, outcomes, and recommendations for sustainable development.

Abstract

This community service program is entitled Mentoring of FKIP Student Teaching Practices as an Effort to Improve the Quality of the Learning Process at MA Ulumuddin. The goal is to strengthen the pedagogic competence of prospective teacher students and improve the quality of the learning process at partner schools. The implementation method is in the form of intensive assistance during Field Experience Practice (PPL) for 5 FKIP students at MA Ulumuddin, from September to December 2025. The mentoring model combines remote consultations via mobile phones, classroom monitoring visits, and rubric-based assessments. The results of the evaluation showed a significant improvement in student competence in preparing lesson plans, implementing interactive teaching strategies, managing classes, and conducting assessments. On the other hand, partner schools benefit in the form of refreshing pedagogical practices in the classroom. This program proves the effectiveness of the university-school partnership model that has a dual impact, namely preparing competent teacher candidates and at the same time contributing to improving the quality of education at the school level. For this reason, replication and institutionalization of this model are highly recommended for sustainability.

Abstract

Posyandu cadres are at the forefront of handling stunting due to their direct involvement in the community. In addition to driving participation in environmental prevention and empowerment efforts, Posyandu Cadres also provide assistance, education and early detection in stunting cases. This then positions the Cadre to have a strategic role in monitoring maternal and child health. For this great responsibility, Posyandu Cadres need to have skills in communication. This will be the foundation for cadres to conduct health education, build trust and correct misinformation. With good communication, cadres can have a greater impact on maternal and child health, including reducing the number of stunting cases. Therefore, this communication training activity was carried out to answer the anxiety of Posyandu Cadres who felt unconfident in carrying out their duties and roles. This activity was initiated by PT PHE NSO as a form of social responsibility, especially in its operational area by collaborating with the Oil and Gas Center. This program is part of the assistance to the Paloh Punti Village Posyandu which has previously supported the Supplementary Feeding (PMT) to the vulnerable target groups, namely pregnant women who experience Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) and toddlers who are malnourished or do not gain weight. This training will not only equip cadres technically but also conceptually in designing educational strategies that are communicative and empathetic to the needs of the community so as to encourage the achievement of active family involvement in dealing with stunting.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the Language Style (Stylistic) used by commentators during football matches at the 2025 Unimal FC Silaturrahmi Tournament. The language style of the commentator in the context of sports shows its own uniqueness influenced by the speed of the game, the need to trigger the emotions of the spectator, and the persuasive function. This phenomenon is reflected in the choice of diction, intonation, and tempo of speech which tend to be fast and full of emphasis. This research uses a qualitative approach based on Stylistic studies. The research data was in the form of the verbal speech of the commentators which were collected through the audio-visual recording technique of the match and then copied in the form of a textual transcript. Data analysis is carried out through the process of heuristic reading to identify and classify the types of language styles, as well as hermeneutic reading to interpret the functions and meanings contained in the language style. The results of this study are expected to describe the variation of the dominant language styles and explain the function of these language styles (e.g., informative, expressive, or conative functions) in building the atmosphere of the match.

Abstract

Pusong Lama Village is a fishing village with extraordinary marine natural potential. In addition to being directly adjacent to the sea, the village also has a Fish Landing Port (PPI) located within the village area. Due to this strategic location, the village has easy access to fish, especially skipjack tuna. As a maritime village, the people of Pusong Lama face social problems commonly experienced by fishing communities, namely economic vulnerability. In fact, the village has great potential for the development of a creative economy. One such potential is the abundant availability of skipjack tuna. However, so far this potential has not been optimally utilized to encourage the household economy of fishermen as a source of family income. During certain seasons, the abundance of skipjack tuna forces it to be sold at very low prices and even discarded as fish waste, which is only used as feed for catfish. Based on the existing potential and problems in the target village, the proposed solution is to improve community skills in utilizing fisheries potential through training in producing keumamah. The purpose of improving these skills is that the ability to produce keumamah can help support the economic resilience of fishermen’s families. The expected outcome of this training is that the community, through women’s groups, will gain the skills and capacity to produce keumamah as an economically valuable commodity. To achieve this objective, women’s groups are formed as the main target, and intensive training and mentoring are carried out using a tiered, gradual, and sustainable approach.

Abstract

Perisai Diri silat championships require athletes to demonstrate comprehensive readiness encompassing physical, mental, and strategic dimensions, positioning coaches as key actors in systematically directing the athlete development process. However, limited access to capacity-building programs grounded in scientific approaches remains a challenge for many coaches, particularly in managing psychological aspects, injury prevention, and the application of effective and safe training methods. This community engagement activity aims to enhance the capacity of Perisai Diri coaches in preparing athletes for competition by strengthening their understanding of psychological training, mastery of structured training methods, and the application of health and nutrition principles for athletes. The activity was implemented through integrated stages, including training sessions, mentoring, and evaluation. The results indicate a noticeable improvement in coaches’ understanding and readiness to design adaptive training programs that balance physical and mental training while giving due attention to recovery and nutritional aspects. Strengthening coaches’ capacity contributes to meeting athletes’ needs and supports sustainable improvements in performance and competitive achievement in Perisai Diri silat.
