Abstract

One important component in institutional management in higher education is the role of the chancellor as an educational leader who is directly responsible for the entire academic process in higher education. The Chancellor as the key person in managing all campus residents has the biggest contribution to the overall success of the educational process at the university. This research aims to describe the leadership model (servant leadership) at the At-Taqwa Bondowoso Islamic College. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type. The data sources for this research are: Chair, deputy Chair, Lecturers, Education Personnel, and students with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Descriptive data analysis techniques are carried out starting from data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the research show that the servant leadership model that has been implemented by the Head of the At-Taqwa Bondowoso Islamic College is listening to the hopes of campus residents, empathizing, having and increasing self-awareness of campus residents, building persuasive power that unites togetherness among campus residents, having conceptualization and the ability to heal, the ability to serve the campus community, a commitment to individual development and a clear vision and mission for the future, and the ability to build a community. The servant leadership model can be an alternative as an appropriate model to be applied in managing higher education today, because this leadership model is in accordance with the educational philosophy in Indonesia, especially in educational development.

Abstract

Fluktuasi perkembangan teknologi menjadikan sumber daya manusia di tuntut agar mampu beradaptasi. Pendidikan yang tersturktur memiliki peran penting dalam menghadapi keadaan tersebut agar mampu menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang cemerlang. Tidak hanya itu, tantangan juga lahir secara kompleks dalam dunia pendidikan dimana siswa membutuhkan kemampuan adaptasi lebih tinggi. . Penelitian ini melibatkan 130 santri di SMA IT Abu Bakar Boarding School Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan peer support dengan academic adjustment. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non-probability sampling dengan metode accidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah skala peer support dikembangkan oleh Chen (2017) dan skala Student Adaptation to College (SACQ) dikembangkan oleh Baker dan Siryk ((1999). Dari hasil uji pearson correlation bivariate menggunakan SPSS 26 diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebeasar 0.000< 0.001, hal ini berarti terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara variabel peer support dengan academic adjustment. Nilai r hitung (pearson correlations) untuk hubungan peer support dengan academic adjustment sebesar 0.599, maka hal ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan peer support dengan academic adjustment dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is a satisfactory work result in an organization, several literatures can increase job satisfaction such as promotions, wages, work environment, supervision and relationships with coworkers. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of transformational leadership, work motivation, and work environment on employee job satisfaction. This quantitative research methodology uses saturated sampling techniques and data collection through questionnaires distributed to 62 employees of CV Cahaya Setia Mulia Yogyakarta, while data processing uses SPSS version 22. The research results show that transformational leadership and the work environment do not have a significant influence. has an effect on employee job satisfaction, while work motivation has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Employee performance is a crucial aspect in a company because the development of a company is inseparable from the performance of its employees. Therefore, it is important to understand the factors that support the performance of an employee. This article aims to comprehend the literature review regarding the influence of transformational leadership, motivation, and compensation on employee performance. The research method employed is a systematic literature review (SLR) using 18 journals and articles obtained from Google Scholar and the National Library with keywords "transformational leadership, motivation, compensation, and employee performance." The review process involves analyzing previous studies that specifically focus on the relationship between transformational leadership, motivation, compensation, and employee performance. The research findings indicate that literature from various journals and articles provides in-depth insights into the positive relationship between transformational leadership, motivation, and compensation with employee performance. These findings can serve as a reference for future research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi jabatan, mutasi pegawai dan pelatihan kerja terhadap semangat kerja. Metode pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner. Populasi PLN Icon Plus Jakarta Selatan yang berjumlah 152 orang dan sampel 60 dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data uji asumsi klasik, uji normalitas berdistribusi normal dan uji multikolinearitas tidak terjadi. Dengan teknik uji t parsial, uji f simultan, di nyatakan dengan hasil setiap variabel Promosi Jabatan, Mutasi Pegawai dan Pelatihan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Semangat Kerja secara Bersamaan.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, pemerintah mulai menggalakan sistem pendidikan yang memiliki orientasi kepada pendidikan karakter. Alasan tersebut bisa kita pahami untuk merespon beberapa hal yang berkaitan dengan persoalan bangsa terkini seperti maraknya tindakan korupsi, hilangnya kepedulian (empati) dan hilangnya nilai kejujuran dengan maraknya berita hoaks. Karenanya pendidikan karakter berusaha dijadikan sebagai solusi dalam menyiapkan generasi unggul dan berkarakter di masa yang akan datang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan peran pembelajaran bahasa—Bahasa Indonesia—dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik di sekolah dasar (SD). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi refrensi bagi para guru, khususnya guru di tingkat kelas rendah sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian studi pustaka dengan menggunakan metode deskriptis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar (SD) khususnya kelas rendah sangat berperan besar dalam pembentukan karakter anak, seperti karakter sopan santun, toleransi, jujur, percaya diri dan lain sebagainya. Pemebentukan karakter dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada peserta didik sekolah dasar khususnya kelas rendah tidak hanya melalui materi ajar, model pembelajaran, dan penilaian, tetapi juga melalui teladan atau contoh perilaku dari guru, pembiasaan, dan suasana belajar yang aktif, kreatif, menarik, dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Purchasing decisions are the action of choosing from various alternatives (two or more options) to determine a decision to purchase a product/service. In this way, an individual can arrange various choices according to their needs and desires. Some articles have been proven to have a positive and significant influence, but other research has not been proven to have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. This research is needed to further explore what variables have an influence on increasing purchasing decisions and adding brand image as a mediator. This research aims to determine the influence of brand ambassadors and lifestyle on purchasing decisions for certain products through brand image as a partial and simultaneous intervening variable. This research method involved 105 consumer respondents using Somethinc products with a sampling technique using non-propability with purposive sampling, while data processing used the IMB SPSS 25 application. The results showed that brand ambassadors and lifestyle had a positive and significant effect on brand image. Brand ambassadors and lifestyle have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Apart from that, mediation analysis shows that brand image is able to mediate brand ambassadorship and lifestyle on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the attention of educational institutions (Islamic Elememtary School At-Taqwa Bondowoso) to the preservation of the natural environment amid the widespread impact of technological development in the digital era. The objectives of this research are: 1) Knowing the use of environmentally friendly learning media in growing students' environmental care attitudes in the digital era at Islamic Elememtary School At-Taqwa Bondowoso. 2) Knowing the results of the use of environmentally friendly learning media on the growth of students' environmental care attitudes at Islamic Elememtary School At-Taqwa Bondowoso. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of field research and using data collection techniques of observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis is done through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing in the form of verification. The results of this study are the use of environmentally friendly learning media in fostering students' environmental care attitudes in the digital era at Islamic Elememtary School At-Taqwa Bondowoso is through the use of used goods in the surrounding environment by actively involving students in developing their creativity in processing used goods into learning aids.

Abstract

To improve the quality of education in Indonesia, government issued a new breakthrough, namely the new model of pre-service teacher professional education (PPG). Teacher Professional Education Program itself is an educational program held to prepare undergraduate graduates. Students Of the New Model Pre-service PPG do offline learning and submit assessments in Learning Management System (LMS). Learning Management System or LMS is A Learning Management System is a web- based software application that is designed to handle learning content, student interaction, assessment tools and reports of learning progress and student activities. In LMS there is a learning line. The learning line exists in LMS used at New Model Pre-service PPG is MERDERKA. MERDEKA is acronym of Mulai dari diri, Eksplorasi konsep, Ruang kolaborasi, Demonstrasi kontekstual, Elaborasi pemahaman, Koneksi antar materi and Aksi nyata. This research uses qualitative approach while qualitative descriptive is used as a method. The researcher used observation and interview to collect the data. Based on the research which has been conducted, the main result is Learning Management system could facilitate assessment submission process by many features. Various form of assignment files could be uploaded in LMS easily. This is why Learning Management System is quite effective to be used for assessment submission with good internet connection.

Abstract

Abstract The teacher's role in learning is not just the transfer of knowledge to students, but as a motivation and mediator who guides and conditions students to learn, so that they can acquire knowledge and skills and independently develop the knowledge they have learned. This process can be achieved by implementing a learning process that requires students to be more active in exploring, solving problems and learning in small groups, namely by implementing the Cooperative Learning model of giving questions and getting answers. This research aims first, to understand how to apply the giving question and getting answer type cooperative learning model in PAI learning. Second, to understand the implications of the cooperative learning model of giving questions and getting answers on students' cognitive and affective abilities. This research method applies a descriptive qualitative approach. The type of research used is a case study. The form of research used is field research. The techniques used in collecting this data were free interviews, participatory observation, and documentation with PAI teachers and 10th grade students at Miftahul Ulum Bondowoso High School. The results of this research show that students responded positively to the giving question and getting answer learning method. This learning method utilizes simple learning media, and has better results when used at the final stage of learning, in order to determine students' mastery of understanding of the Islamic religious education learning material that has been presented previously. The giving question and getting answer method allows students to receive direct feedback regarding their progress in class and their appreciation for the assignments completed.
