Abstract

Environmental issues and social inequality have spurred the emergence of two major global agendas: the Green economy and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, their implementation at the local level often runs parallel and lacks synergistic integration. This study examines the convergence of the Green economy and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the tourism sector of Banyuwangi Regency through an ecological footprint study. The main issue addressed is the increasing ecological pressure due to rapid tourism growth, which has the potential to exceed environmental carrying capacity if not managed sustainably. The research focuses on assessing the ecological sustainability of the tourism sector and analyzing the extent to which its management aligns with green economy principles and relevant SDGs. This study employs a descriptive-interpretative qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that tourism activities have exerted significant pressure on water and energy resources and generated substantial waste, particularly in nature-based tourism destinations. Although the Banyuwangi Regency Government has demonstrated commitment through policies such as the Clean Tourism Movement (GWB) and collaborations for renewable energy, which align with several SDGs, the implementation of sustainability principles remains uneven and partial. In conclusion, the convergence of the Green economy and SDGs in Banyuwangi is progressing incrementally but is not yet fully grounded in quantitative ecological footprint measurement. Therefore, standardizing environmental management and enhancing the capacity of all stakeholders are necessary to achieve truly sustainable tourism.

Abstract

The digital transformation in education since 2020 has encouraged the use of technology as an interactive and meaningful learning tool. However, based on observations at MI Nurur Rahman Tamanan Bondowoso, student learning interest in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) is still relatively low due to monotonous learning and the abstract nature of the material. Therefore, interactive media is needed to address this problem, one of which is the implementation of the interactive media Educaplay Froggy Jumps. This study aims to determine the application of Educaplay Froggy Jumps interactive media in the subject of science at MI Nurur Rahman Tamanan Bondowoso in the 2025-2026 academic year, and the effect of the use of Educaplay Froggy Jumps interactive media on students' interest in learning science at MI Nurur Rahman Tamanan Bondowoso in the 2025-2026 academic year. This research uses quantitative research with an experimental approach. Data collection techniques include: 1) observation, 2) questionnaires, and 3) documentation. The analysis uses descriptive and inferential analysis with simple linear regression tests assisted by SPSS Version 25. The results of the study showed that the use of Educaplay Froggy Jumps interactive media significantly increased students' interest in learning science, with different average values indicated by the mean of the experimental class of 63.04 while the control class was 56.81. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and t count of 6.488> t table of 1.708, so that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted with a coefficient of determination of 62.7% indicating that the increase in students' interest in learning was significantly influenced by the use of Educaplay Froggy Jumps interactive media.

Abstract

Contemporary education faces a crisis of character and a growing tendency toward exclusivity, which hinders the achievement of inclusive human development. This condition highlights the need for character education that is not merely normative but grounded in a holistic and contextual value framework. This article examines the integration of Islamic values—iman (faith), amal (action), and ihsan (ethical excellence)—as the foundation of character education oriented toward strengthening moral, social, and humanitarian dimensions. The study employs a conceptual and contextual analysis through a critical review of character education literature from both Western perspectives and Islamic educational thought. The findings indicate that iman functions as the basis of internal moral awareness, amal represents social practice and civic responsibility, while ihsan emphasizes ethics, empathy, and a humanitarian orientation in social relations. The integration of these three values contributes to a model of character education that is responsive to diversity and grounded in social justice. Therefore, the incorporation of iman, amal, and ihsan into curricula, learning processes, and educators’ role modeling is considered relevant in supporting inclusive human development in schools, madrasahs, and pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dialectic of parenting patterns in the Pandalungan community in the process of internalizing religious character in elementary school students (SD/MI). The Pandalungan community, as a cultural entity resulting from the assimilation of Javanese and Madurese elements, exhibits complex parenting practices that combine rigid religious adherence with social flexibility. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with students' parents, participant observation of students' religious activities, and documentation of character development records at school. Data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman model, which encompasses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate a dynamic dialectic between authoritarian-religious parenting (characteristic of Madurese culture) and persuasive-harmonious parenting (characteristic of Javanese culture). The process of internalizing students' religious character in elementary schools (SD/MI) is realized through three main mechanisms: The practice of disciplined religious rituals, role models based on local wisdom, and the reinforcement of moral values adaptive to the school environment. This dialectic successfully shapes students who are not only ritually obedient but also moderate in their social interactions within the school environment. These findings confirm that the strength of religious character of elementary school students in the Pandalungan region is rooted in the cultural synthesis that occurs within the family environment.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and measure the effectiveness of AI-Driven Mastery Learning in optimizing adaptive learning for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the Merdeka Curriculum era. Amidst the challenges of the traditional "one-size-fits-all" learning approach, Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology offers a solution through systems capable of personally tailoring materials and evaluations based on student needs. This research employs a Mixed Methods Research approach with a sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were collected through learning outcome tests and perception/motivation questionnaires, while qualitative data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. Instrument test results showed high validity and strong reliability, with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.847 for learning outcome tests and above 0.80 for the motivation questionnaire. Research findings indicate that the integration of AI in PAI not only enhances the mastery of cognitive competencies but also increases student learning motivation through real-time feedback. Although AI plays a significant role as an adaptive assistant, the teacher's role remains essential as a moral and spiritual role model that cannot be replaced by technology.

Abstract

Dalam ekonomi Islam, ketimpangan sosial tinggi bertentangan dengan keadilan distributif. Penelitian akan menganalisis ketimpangan sosial di Indonesia melalui tinjauan tingkat kemiskinan, indeks pembangunan manusia (IPM) dan tingkat pengangguran terbuka. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dengan analisis regeresi data panel berganda melalui 38 provinsi di Indonesia periode 2021–2025. Indeks Gini sebagai indikator ketimpangan sosial dan data dependen, tingkat kemiskinan, IPM, dan tingkat pengangguran terbuka digunakan sebagai variabel independen. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda melalui perangkat lunak SPSS Versi 25. Hasil temuan secara parsial tingkat kemiskinan sebesar (dua puluh tujuh persen), IPM sebesar (enam puluh tujuh persen) dan pengangguran sebesar (dua puluh enam persen) mempengaruhi Indeks Gini. Kemudian secara simultan semua variabel (tujuh puluh tujuh persen) mempengaruhi Indeks Gini. Dengan demikian tingkat kemiskinan menunjukkan pengaruh dengan Indeks Gini karena berkaitan dengan distribusi kekayaan serta keadilan sosial, sementara IPM/HDI dapat mencerminkan disparitas akses dan pemanfaatan fasilitas, sehingga akan berkontribusi terhadap tinggi rendahnya ketimpangan sosial. Sisi lain, tingkat pengangguran mempengaruhi ketimpangan sosial tetapi juga tergantung struktur ekonomi dan karakteristik pasar tenaga kerja di masing- masing provensi. Hasil penelitian ini selaras dengan pandangan Al-Ghazali dan Ibn Khaldun bahwa ketimpangan pendapatan atau sosial lebih dipengaruhi oleh kegagalan distribusi dan konsentrasi kekayaan.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar anak dalam mengenal huruf, angka, warna, dan bentuk pada anak PAUD di Desa Curahtemu Kecamatan Kotaanyar Kabupaten Probolinggo. Kurangnya variasi media dan metode pembelajaran menyebabkan anak kurang fokus, kurang antusias, serta belum optimal dalam mengenal konsep dasar literasi dan numerasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar anak- anak pada tingkat Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dalam mengenal huruf, angka, warna, dan bentuk. Pemahaman tentang konsep dasar seperti huruf, angka, warna, dan bentuk sangat penting sebagai fondasi awal bagi perkembangan kognitif dan akademik anak. Namun, seringkali anak-anak PAUD menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga perhatian dan minat mereka terhadap materi tersebut. Oleh karena itu, dengan metode PTK penelitian ini mengeksplorasi berbagai pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar anak melalui metode yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kreatif, permainan edukatif, serta pengajaran berbasis pengalaman, anak-anak dapat lebih tertarik dan terlibat dalam proses belajar. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pendidik dalam mengembangkan teknik pengajaran yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar anak PAUD, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perkembangan kognitif dan sosial mereka di masa depan.

Abstract

The ideas that replace the concepts of the contemporary era are known as postmodernism. This research provides a theoretical analysis of postmodern ideas, which are the basis for the emergence of contemporary artistic ideas and are reinforced by the increasing tendency of young Indonesian artists to combine contemporary aesthetic styles with the visual power of traditional culture. As a result, the works created are global in nature but retain their traditional values. The "Algorith" logo in Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC) 2024 has a postmodern context. This research aims to analyze the "Algorithm" logo in postmodern culture. This research is also expected to provide benefits to provide information about postmodern aesthetic values and meanings contained in the logo. The theories used are postmodern theory and postmodern aesthetics. This research uses literature study method from various books, and writings of thinkers. The result of this research is how the application of the "Algorithm" logo on Jember Fashion Carnaval 2024 in a postmodern context. Postmodern itself can be seen through aesthetic values that have idioms contained in the logo. The strongest postmodern aesthetic idiom related to the above case is pastiche. In addition, there are denotation and connotation meanings in the "Algorithm" logo in Jember Fashion Carnaval 2024. With the final conclusion that the term postmodern aesthetic pastiche can be used to describe the application of postmodern culture. The term "pastiche" combines traditional and contemporary styles. The theme logo for Jember Fashion Carnaval 2024 will be drawn using a logogram perspective with a historical algorithm. In which there is a wayang devile. These two typefaces are used to give a simple or contemporary impression. Modern culture is represented by the colors used in the theme logo that depict "aesthetic partners", allowing creativity to compete internationally in the aesthetic space of the contemporary art world.

Abstract

The two linguistic phenomena in bilingual societies, namely interference and integration, are interesting topics to examine, as both commonly occur in everyday language use. These phenomena arise due to contact between two languages, namely the first language and the second language. This study aims to objectively describe the phenomena of language interference and integration from a sociolinguistic perspective among students of Ibrahimy Islamic University, Banyuwangi. This research employed aqualitative approach with a phenomenological research design. Data were collected using observation and note-taking techniques, then analyzed inductively and subsequently generalized to obtain the research findings. Data validity was ensured through data triangulation. The results of the analysis indicate that language interference occurs at the phonological and morphological levels. Phonological interference manifests in four forms: monophthongization, vowel modification, apocope, and syncope. Meanwhile, morphological interference from Javanese into Indonesian includes four aspects: (1) the prefix (N-) with allomorphs (ny-), (ng-), and (n-); (2) the suffix ( e); (3) the circumfix (ke-an); and (4) reduplication (full reduplication and reduplication with sound variation). In contrast, the phenomenon of language integration occurs at the level of loanwords from Javanese into Indonesian through both adaptation and adoption processes.

Abstract

The advancement of technology in the Society 5.0 era demands transformation in the field of education, including Islamic Religious Education (IRE). This era emphasizes the integration of digital technology with human-centered values to create a balanced life between technological progress and humanity. This study aims to explore and formulate a learning model of IRE based on digital literacy that is relevant to the challenges and demands of 21st-century education. The method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results show that a digital literacy-based IRE learning model not only enhances students’ understanding of religious values but also improves their critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity through the use of e- learning, educational social media, and interactive applications related to the Qur’an and Hadith. By integrating digital literacy, IRE teachers are required to act as facilitators and innovators in creating meaningful, contextual, and relevant learning environments. This model is expected to address the challenges of globalization while maintaining the core essence of Islamic education in shaping noble character.
