Abstract

Abstract               The quality of human resources (SDM), among others, determined by the quality and level of education. The quality of education is low causing low quality of human resources; the higher the education level, the higher the quality of human resources that will affect the way of thinking, reasoning, insight, breadth and depth of knowledge.               The professionalism of teachers in improving the quality of human resources will be reflected in the implementation of the tasks that are marked with expertise both in material and methods. With his expertise, a teacher is able to demonstrate its independence, both personal as well as professional stakeholders. In addition to their expertise, professional figure teacher demonstrated through its responsibility in implementing all professional dedication should be able to assume and carry out the responsibility as a teacher to the students, parents, community, nation state, and religion. Teacher professional social responsibility, intellectual, moral, and spiritual. Keywords: professionalism, improve human resources. Abstrak            Kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) antara lain ditentukan oleh mutu dan tingkat pendidikan. Kualitas pendidikan yang rendah menyebabkan kualitas SDM rendah; makin tinggi tingkat pendidikan maka makin tinggi pula kualitas SDM yang akan berpengaruh terhadap cara pikir, nalar, wawasan, keluasan dan kedalaman pengetahuan.            Profesionalisme guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas SDM akan tercermin pada pelaksanaan tugas-tugas yang ditandai dengan keahlian baik dalam materi maupun metode. Dengan keahliannya itu, seorang guru mampu menunjukkan otonominya, baik pribadi maupun sebagai pemangku profesinya. Di samping dengan keahliannya, sosok profesional guru ditunjukkan melalui tanggung jawabnya dalam melaksanakan seluruh pengabdiannya profesional hendaknya mampu memikul dan melaksanakan tanggung jawab sebagai guru kepada peserta didik, orang tua, masyarakat, bangsa negara, dan agamanya. Guru professional mempunyai tanggung jawab sosial, intelektual, moral, dan spiritual. Kata kunci: profesionalisme, meningkatkan, sumber daya manusia.

Abstract

The tradition of “Malamang and Manjalang Mintuo” is a tradition in Minangkabau, West Sumatra. The tradition has beenshifted with the changing times and began to be abandoned by youngers generation due to the influence of modernization. While the tradition initially has cul- tural and religious values contained in it based on cultural, social and religious life perspectives. The goals of cultural, social, and religious values are contained. As for the results of this research, it is found that values which are contained in cultural, social, and religious perspectives are historical cultural preservation due to the spread of Islam and a teaching to always do good thing such as charity; the building of friendship rela- tion among the societies; the introduction of halal food and teaching to have a great communication adjusted with the place and interlocutor; and give thanks and for wishing of blessing and salvation from God.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine various characters implemented at modern Islamic Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS). This school is in Pleret, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This research was a case study. The researcher carefully investigated a program, event, activity, process, or individual whose case is time-limited, and activity is determined by using a qualitative approach. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The researcher has analyzed the research based on data obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. The characters implemented at MBS are religious character, independence, social character, team building, and ta’zim (RISTA). Implementing these character values benefits students' mental health, resulting in strong Islamic personalities and good mental health MBS graduates.

Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah; Pandemi COVID-19 telah melemahkan nilai-nilai yang diharapkan dari pendidikan dan ketahanan pangan serta berdampak pada psikologi masyarakat. Metode: Melakukan observasi awal, merumuskan strategi yang sesuai saat terjadi pandemi, melakukan diskusi dan tanya jawab dengan selalu memperhatikan tata cara kesehatan. Masa pandemi berdampak pada kualitas manusia pada pendidikan, ekonomi serta psikologis. Untuk itu diperlukan upaya membangun sumber daya manusia melalui bidang pendidikan dan ekonomi serta psikologi. Permasalahan yang terjadi karena rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang meningkatkan pendidikan, ekonomi serta psikologis selama masa pandemi. Hasil: meningkatkan pemahaman cara kualitas SDM melalui pendidikan agama, ekonomi serta psikologi, melalui tanya jawab edukasi, diskusi cara membangun SDM melalui sektor pendidikan dan ekonomi serta psikologis. Kesimpulan: masyarakat memulai pendidikan agama dari rumah tangga masing-masing dengan memberikan contoh, kebiasaan, dan penghargaan. Dalam bidang ekonomi, masyarakat mengelola dan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam yang ada dan mendekatkan diri kepada Allah untuk memberikan kesehatan dan perlindungan.Abstract: Problem; The COVID-19 pandemic has weakened the values expected of education and food security and has had an impact on people's psychology. Methods: Conduct initial observations, formulate appropriate strategies during a pandemic, conduct discussions and ask questions by always paying attention to health procedures. The pandemic period has an impact on human quality in education, economy, and psychology. For this reason, efforts are needed to build human resources through the fields of education and economics as well as psychology. Problems that occur due to low public understanding about improving education, economics, and psychology during the pandemic. Results: increasing understanding of how to quality human resources through religious, economic, and psychological education, through educational questions and answers, discussions on how to build human resources through the education and economic and psychological sectors. Conclusion: people start religious education from their respective households by providing examples, habits, and rewards. In the economic field, the community manages and utilizes existing natural resources and draws closer to God to provide health and protection.

Abstract

AbstractIslamic boarding schools teach students their self-reliance values, which can shape their personalities in being independent so that they are in accordance with one of the goals of Indonesian education, which is to become independent human beings. For this reason, it is necessary to study the actualization in shaping the character of the independence of their students. This research is field research using a descriptive qualitative approach. The source of data comes from the primary and secondary as well as collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of his research can be seen from the factors of awareness, regulation, and habits of being a supporter in shaping independent character, while age and psychology become obstacles in shaping independence in students. The ability to manage finances, time, social life is a reflection of the impact of positive values in the actualization of independence in the independent character of students.  Keywords: Actualization; Independence; Character. AbstrakPondok pesantren mengajarkan kepada siswanya nilai-nilai kemandirian, yang dapat membentuk kepribadiannya dalam bersikap mandiri, sehinga sesuai dengan salah satu tujuan pendidikan Indonesia yaitu menjadi insan mandiri. Untuk itu dibutuhkan perlu dikaji tentang aktualisasinya dalam membentuk karakter kemandirian siswanya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun sumber data bersumber dari primer dan skunder serta pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitiannya dapat dilihat dari faktor kesadaran, suritauladan dan kebiasaan menjadi pendukung dalam membentuk karakter mandiri, sementara usia dan spikologi menjadi penghambat dalam membentuk kemandirian dalam diri siswa. Adanya kemampuan dalam mengelola keuangan, waktu, hidup sosial merupakan cerminan akan adanya dampak nilai positif dalam aktualisasi kemandirian dalam karakter mandiri siswa. Kata Kunci: Aktualisasi; Kemandirian; Karakter.

Abstract

 This study aims to reveal the analysis of management functions in the educational institutions of the Thawalib Padang Islamic Boarding School in order to improve the quality of Islamic boarding school education. The research method used is descriptive analytical with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show: 1). Based on planning and decision making (planning) in formulating a vision, mission and objectives as well as a clear and achieved curriculum; 2) Based on organizing which already has a clear organizational structure starting from the foundation of the institution along with its staff, the leadership of the pesantren and its staff, the school and the staff of the teacher and the education staff and the school committee; 3) Based on clear (leading) leadership. Should the leadership in an educational institution not be a double function or double position. In order to facilitate control and control; and 4) Based on control (controlling). Control is carried out regularly. This is done with the aim not to look for mistakes or shortcomings but for the sake of good going forward. Keywords: Agency Quality, Management Function. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap analisis fungsi manejemen pada lembaga pendidikan Pondok Pesantren Thawalib Padang dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan pesantren. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1). Berdasarkan perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan (planning) dalam merumuskan visi, misi dan tujuan serta kurikulum yang jelas dan dicapai; 2) Berdasarkan pengorganisasian (organizing) yang telah memiliki struktur organsasi yang jelas mulai dari yayasan lembaga beserta jajarannya, pimpinan pesantren beserta jajarannya, sekolah beserta staff guru dan tenaga kependidikannya serta komite sekolah; 3) Berdasarkan kepemimpinan (leading) yang jelas. Hendaknya dalam kepemimpinan yang ada dalam lembaga pendidikan jangan sampai ada double fungsi atau rangkap jabatan. Agar mempermudah pengendalian dan pengontrolan; dan 4)   Berdasarkan pengendalian (controlling). Dilakukannya pengendalian/pengontrolan secara berkala. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan tujuan bukan untuk mencari kesalahan/ kekurangan akan tetapi demi untuk kebaikan kedepannya. Kata Kunci: Mutu Lembaga, Fungsi Manajemen.

Abstract

Character education occupies a central role in the world of education which is a constitutional mandate. The progress of science and technology that is unstoppable by physical strength with its various positive and negative impacts, is a strong reason to make character education the basis for an ethical defense in the face of the negative impacts of globalization, especially during the pandemic. The role of character education is a very big concern in Muhammadiyah educational institutions, especially AIK subjects, character education is important in every learning process in an effort to achieve Muhammadiyah educational goals and organizational goals. The purpose of this study was to determine the strengthening of AIK-based character education (PPK) during the covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is quantitative with a survey method. The number of samples in this study was 150 parents of students. Collecting information using a survey method with a Likert scale. Information analysis by calculating the percentage of information on each indicator, then interpreting the percentage score information and analyzed descriptively on each indicator. The results of this study showed 91.8% with very good criteria on strengthening character education (PPK) based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah during the covid-19 pandemic at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Nitikan Yogyakarta

Abstract

Wanita yang membantu suami dan meringankan beban biaya keluarga dengan melakukan suatu pekerjaan yang ditekuni merupakan seorang wanita karir. Sebagai seorang wanita karir ada permasalahan yang ditimbulkan baik dalam membagi waktu untuk bekerja dan untuk rumah tangga dan terjadinya perselingkuhan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peran wanita karir dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai agama bagi anak melalui pendekatan religius. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dari observasi, kuesioner tertutup. Alat pengumpulan data berdasarkan panduan observasi dan kuesioner tertutup. Berdasarkan sumber data penelitian sebanyak 15 orang. Analisis pada penelitian adalah reduksi data, display data, pengambilan keputusan dan verifikasi yang disajikan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Pengujian keabsahan data dilakukan dengan melakukan perpanjangan pengamatan dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian yang mempengaruhi wanita karir dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai agama bagi anak pembagian waktu kerja, pola asuh anak dan pengasuhan anak, kurangnya perhatian orang tua dalam menanamkan nilai agama dan media sosial, televisi, cetak dan pengaruh lingkungan masyarakat. Peran wanita karir dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai agama bagi anak melalui pendekatan religius adalah memberikan suritauladan yang baik, memasukan anaknya kelembaga pendidikan Islam seperti MI, MTs, MA, Pesantren, PTAI. Memasukan anaknya mengaji di MDA/MDW, serta memperhatikan tingkahlaku dan kepribadian anaknya, dengan penuh kedisiplinan dalam beribadah dan dalam rumah tangga

Abstract

A good nation is a nation that has a character that is manifested in thoughts, feelings, attitudes, behaviors, and configurations that are based on religious, legal, customary, religious, and cultural values. Not a drug addict, which will damage the morals of religion and culture. To realize a generation of character, the role of the Syeikh is needed in the formation of the character of the generation of the Minangkabau realm of West Sumatra in the Surau educational institution. The purpose of the study is to study the character shape of students, the role of the Syeikh in character formation. As a result of research, research is conducted by collecting data through interviews, observation, documentation. While the forms of character instilled religious values, discipline, honesty, independence is hard work full of creativity, curiosity with the full sense of responsibility. Sheikh managed to become a good character, instilling good and responsible habits, encouraging and innovating.

Abstract

The cultivation of 5S culture in instilling religious character imbues the teachings of Islamic values. So that professional teachers help grow the character values ​​of students who are still lacking and need to be instilled in order to get used to and have religious characters that are in accordance with Islamic teachings and national education goals. The aim is to determine the professionalism of teachers in growing religious character based on 5S culture. This research is quantitative with a population of 45 students in class XI SMK 1 Muhammadiyah Bantul Yogyakarta. Collecting information using questionnaires and documentation. The results of the research on the results of the growth of character values ​​are 100% teachers provide socialization and role models, 80% warmly welcome students, 100% teachers say hello, 90% give advice if there are mistakes, 100% teachers give awards to students who apply S5, 100% teachers are careful in speaking, 80% of teachers apply S5, 100% of teachers establish good cultural relations with parents and the community.
