Abstract

Islamic education curriculum is a design or study program related to Islamic Religious Education materials or lessons, learning process objectives, methods and approaches and evaluation forms. The research method in this research is library research through collecting data from books and articles related to the Concept and Theory of Islamic Education Curriculum, using descriptive analysis. The curriculum as an educational design, has a central position, determining educational activities and outcomes. Its preparation requires a strong foundation, based on the results of deep thought and research. A weak curriculum will produce weak humans as well. The Islamic education curriculum is Islamic education materials in the form of activities, knowledge and experiences that are deliberately and systematically given to students in order to achieve the goals of Islamic education. The Islamic education curriculum includes three very important issues, namely: the problem of faith (aqidah), the problem of Islam (shari'ah), and the problem of ihsan (morals). The curriculum as an educational design, has a central position, determining educational activities and results. Its preparation requires a strong foundation, based on the results of in-depth thinking and research.

Abstract

This study delves into sellers' ethical considerations and responsibilities in online transactions through the lens of contemporary fiqh muamalah. It addresses discrepancies between goods ordered and received, a common catalyst for disputes between sellers and buyers. The research aims to lay a robust groundwork for users of online trading platforms to conduct transactions with integrity. This qualitative research methodology seeks to enrich the understanding of pertinent issues by analyzing relevant texts and leveraging the firsthand experiences of online market participants. The anticipated outcome of this research is to furnish online business operators, consumers, and policymakers with fresh perspectives that enhance the ethicality and accountability of online buying and selling practices. By elevating awareness of their actions' social and moral ramifications, the study aspires to bolster the reputation of online businesses and foster a more integral and sustainable trading milieu. An expansive comprehension of contemporary fiqh muamalah is expected to mitigate misunderstandings and conflicts between sellers and buyers, augmenting trust and equity in online transactions.

Abstract

Da'wah is a tool for conveying religious messages. Like any tool, da'wah has a clear target or objective, which is to guide the community toward goodness. Over time, numerous methods have been developed to convey da'wah messages, one of which is through music or songs. While many religious leaders deliver da'wah from pulpits and in places of worship, there are also those who choose to communicate da'wah messages through poetic lyrics accompanied by harmonious melodies, commonly referred to as religious songs. This study explores the role of songs in conveying da'wah messages, with a focus on a song by Syubbanul Muslimin from the album Kidung Surgawi titled "Jangan Berputus Asa" ("Do Not Despair"). The study aims to examine how da'wah lyrics within the song contribute to listeners' understanding of the meaning and messages conveyed. Using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic method, the author analyzes the song with a descriptive approach through the words in the lyrics, interviews with members of Syubbanul Muslimin, and data collected from media platforms. This study reveals that the song Jangan Berputus Asa carries a message encouraging people to always be grateful for Allah blessings, especially the spirit to keep striving for His approval. It reminds us to be aware of the ups and downs of life and to  belief that everything is determined by Allah and always contains wisdom behind it. The essence is to accept everything with gratitude, sincerity, patience, and resilience. Moreover, it serves as a motivational boost for us to keep moving forward.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence that occurs on student motivation on learning outcomes in the Tauhid Science course carried out at the Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, Yogyakarta, using a quantitative approach. The method used is the descriptive and inferential correlation method with Analysis of Variance to see the influences, differences, and interactions that occur in the learning outcomes of the Tauhid Science course which are reviewed based on learning motivation. The population in this study included all postgraduate students in the Islamic Religious Education study program with a sample of 62 students consisting of 29 students in class A, 22 B, and 11 students in C. In this research, it was found that student motivation and learning outcomes in monotheism courses did not provide a significant correlation with strengths that were classified as weak. The differences in student learning outcomes occurred in class A and class C, and between the other two classes, there was no significant difference. Apart from that, student learning outcomes based on male and female gender did not provide significant differences or interactions. So, for further research, it is hoped that research can be carried out that correlates student learning outcomes with the learning model used based on reviewing initial abilities regarding the Science of Tauhid to see the influence and improvement that occurs.

Abstract

This study examines the role of middlemen in the distribution of agricultural products in Curahdami Village, Bondowoso Regency, and explores the application of Islamic business ethics in their practices. The findings of the study suggest that middlemen play an important role in facilitating market access for farmers, although their business practices are often characterized by price injustice and manipulation of product quality. This study uses a qualitative approach, by recommending several measures to improve justice and sustainability in the practice of squatting, including ethical education for farmers and middlemen, the establishment of agrarian cooperatives to strengthen farmers' bargaining power, local regulations to prevent exploitative practices, and the strengthening of social capital through community forums. These measures are expected to create a fairer distribution system and improve the welfare of farmers in the long run.

Abstract

The Islamic treatises contained in the Qur'an function as a religion that brings grace to the whole world. However, how can the mission of this Qur'anic treatise be realized? Is the achievement optimal? History records that the mission of the treatises of the Qur'an was once fully accomplished at a certain time. This research aims to explore Fazlur Rahman's views on the mission of the Qur'an as described in his book Major Themes of The Qur'an, as well as explain his views on the mission from the perspective of Maqāṣid al-Qur’ān. This type of research is a literature research with the Maqāṣid al-Qur’ān approach. This approach aims to not only get stuck in the context of past texts, but also appreciate the meanings contained in the main texts. To analyze the data, the author applies a critical-analysis research method, which presents information systematically, objectively, and critically. The results of the study show that the mission of the Qur'an according to Fazlur Rahman is the process of applying the meaning of Allah's message contained in the Qur'an, through the development of the rational potential that exists in a believing Muslim, while trying to get closer to the Qur'an without distance.

Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of the principal's leadership on improving school quality at MAN Cililin. In addition, this research was conducted to examine and measure how much significant influence the school principal's leadership role has on the quality of education. This research was carried out at MAN Cililin with quantitative research. This research method uses a descriptive survey method with correlation analysis to see the relationship between the independent variables, namely the leadership of the school principal, and the attachment variable, namely the quality of education in schools. The population of this research is school teachers at MAN Cililin with a sample of 31. This research instrument uses questionnaires and interviews which have been tested for validity and reliability. The specifications for data analysis requirements used consist of a normality test using Kolmogorov Smirnov and a linearity test with the hypothesis used, namely correlation and regression tests using SPSS version 26. In this study, it can be concluded that the principal's leadership and the quality of education at the MAN Cililin school have a very strong relationship. strong with a correlation coefficient value of 0.907. Apart from that, it was found that the principal's leadership had an influence of 81.2% on the quality of education in schools and the remaining 18.8% was influenced by external factors with the regression equation model Y = 18.117 + 0.658X. Thus, for further research, research can be carried out to see the differences, correlations, and interactions that occur in student learning outcomes at MAN Cililin based on the cognitive level and gender of students to compare with other schools.

Abstract

This study examines the role of interfaith communication in creating economic harmony between Hindu and Muslim communities in Taman Lingsar, Lombok. Taman Lingsar is a unique example of collaboration between two different religious groups, where they interact in various religious and economic activities. The aim of this research is to understand how interfaith communication facilitates the creation of mutually beneficial economic synergy, as well as how these two communities cooperate in sectors such as tourism, trade, and local handicrafts. Through a library research approach, this study analyzes relevant literature on interfaith communication and economic synergy. The results of the study show that open and respectful communication between Hindus and Muslims in Taman Lingsar not only strengthens their social relationships but also encourages collaboration in economic activities. This synergy is reflected in the progress of the tourism sector and the improvement of the local community's economic well-being. The study concludes that effective interfaith communication can serve as a model for creating social and economic harmony in areas with religious and cultural diversity.

Abstract

This research seeks to see the legal awareness of the community in carrying out traffic in the Southern part of Tapanuli by not being followed by coercion without pressure, or orders from outside to obey the applicable law. As legal awareness progresses in the community, the law does not need to impose sanctions. The purpose of this research is to find out the level of legal awareness of the community in traffic on the road. knowing the obstacles of the community in understanding the legal awareness of the community in traffic on the road and knowing the efforts made by law enforcement to overcome the low level of legal awareness of the community in traffic on the road in the southern part of Tapanuli. The method in this research is by using a qualitative research method by interviewing several sources and conducting mini research related to the title raised in the study. Results: This study increases knowledge and understanding for the author, especially regarding the issues researched related to traffic law awareness on the road. Conclusion: The public's legal awareness in traffic is very minimal, even though law enforcement against motor vehicle violations on the road has been regulated in Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation.

Abstract

This study examined significant changes in Islamic education within traditional, modern, and globalization-era societies. The study aimed to identify and analyze the shifts in Islamic education across these social contexts, including the emerging challenges and opportunities. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, this research gathered relevant data through literature review and empirical analysis. Findings indicate that traditional communities tend to prioritize the informal transmission of religious values, contrasting with modern society's approach, which has adopted technology and implemented more systematic educational strategies. Meanwhile, in the globalization era, despite efforts toward more inclusive and adaptive Islamic education, gaps in access and quality remain. This research concluded that the challenges in Islamic education have become increasingly complex over time, necessitating appropriate adaptations within each social context. The main contribution of this study lies in providing in-depth insights into the relevance of Islamic education across diverse contexts and recommendations to improve its access and quality in alignment with global demands.
