Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Growth Mindset on adjustment to new students. Growth mindset is an individual's effort to improve his or her quality through effort, hard work, and the experience he or she has. This research uses quantitative methods, with regression and correlation studies. The population used in this research was undergraduate students class of 2023 with a total of 92 respondents used in the research. Based on the results of analysis with Spearman's rho correlation there is a correlation coefficient value of 0.463, this shows a positive relationship between Growth Mindset and Self-Adjustment. A positive relationship means that the higher the Growth Mindset, then the higher the Self-Adjustment, and the lower the self-adjustment, then the Growth Mindset Getting lower. Students with a growth mindset tend to have a better level of adjustment in academic, social, emotional and institutional attachment. Apart from that, it was found that growth mindset contributed an influence of 26.2% to the adjustment of new students at Bhayangkara. University, Greater Jakarta.

Abstract

Marketing communications via internet media can provide benefits in various fields. The marketing process via internet media is able to make it easier for consumers to obtain the goods they want. One of the social media on the internet that is widely used by people as a marketing communication medium is Instagram. Through Instagram, business people can display photos or videos of their products or services so that they can attract consumer interest. Instagram marketing is a marketing activity carried out using all the facilities provided by Instagram with the aim of increasing sales and establishing better communication with consumers. In managing a marketing communication system, effective and efficient strategy design and sales programs are needed. Abstract

The Effectiveness of the Qur'anic Tahfidz Programme in Improving Students' Academic Discipline and Achievement refers to the integral benefits that a structured programme in memorising the Qur'an brings to the improvement of students' personal discipline as well as learning achievement. The programme not only facilitates students' mastery of religious content, but also leads them to adopt regular and systematic study habits, which has a direct impact on improving their academic performance. The research method used in this study was literature review. The results of the literature review showed that students involved in the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Programme showed significant improvements in self-discipline and academic performance. The discipline applied in following a structured study schedule regularly correlates positively with the level of concentration and learning efficiency in other academic subjects. Furthermore, intensive memorisation improves students' memory function and concentration, which directly supports their capacity to retain and process academic information. The study also found that there was an increase in positive attitude towards learning and a more general increase in motivation among students who participated in the Tahfidz programme.

Abstract

Active learning method is an approach to teaching and learning that emphasises students' direct and active participation in learning activities. Instead of being passive recipients of information, students engage in discussions, simulations, hands-on practice, group projects, and various other forms of interaction designed to stimulate engagement and critical thinking skills. The aim is to increase understanding of the material, motivate students, and ultimately improve learning achievement through a more dynamic and engaging learning experience. The study in this research uses the literature research method. The results of the analysis from various literatures show that active learning methods significantly contribute to increasing students' learning motivation. Students who are directly involved in the learning process tend to have higher interest and enthusiasm, which leads to increased academic commitment. In addition, active learning methods also have a positive impact on students' learning achievement. A deeper understanding of the material, better critical thinking skills, and the ability to apply knowledge in different contexts are some of the resulting benefits. Thus, the implementation of active learning methods in primary schools is proven to be effective in improving students' motivation and learning achievement, making it an important strategy in efforts to improve the quality of primary education.

Abstract

Urban agriculture is an activity that has a dual role and function in urban life, where urban agriculture is not only related to reducing food insecurity which has an impact on public health, urban poverty and improving urban environmental management. Entrepreneurial behavior is very likely to be identified among conventional or semi-commercial farmers. Several entrepreneurial skills are needed for companies that are heavily connected to the market, which requires understanding of the market, human resource management and accurate information management. Entrepreneurial behavior can be seen from another perspective, namely where a farmer takes into account economic risks in their business, is aware of business uncertainty due to climate and market changes, aims to maximize business profits by expanding business activities, is always oriented towards business growth and always pursues opportunities. there for business growth. In general, farmers in Tasikmalaya are semi-commercial farmers, they still run their farming conventionally, are income-oriented, carry out production activities according to the resources they have, and have not adapted to market needs. Farmers collaborate with other mango farmers in the production aspect, but this has not been done in terms of the market.

Abstract

Effective language teaching methods are teaching approaches that integrate the acquisition of grammar and vocabulary with real-life contexts and practical tasks, to improve students' fluency and communication skills. Context-based and task-based approaches are significant examples, where language learning is linked to everyday situations and specific tasks that motivate students to use language actively and meaningfully. These methods also involve adaptation and flexibility according to students' individual needs, resulting in more relevant and effective learning. The research method conducted in this study used literature research method. The results of the literature review show that context-based and task-based approaches are highly effective methods in developing students' communication skills. The context-based approach connects learning to real-life situations, providing deep meaning and relevance, while the task-based approach encourages active language use and improves problem-solving skills. However, research has also found that each method has its own challenges, such as the need for thorough preparation in context-based approaches and potential pressure on students in task-based approaches. Therefore, a combination of different methods and adaptation according to the students' context is recommended to achieve optimal learning outcomes. This research provides valuable insights for educators in designing effective language teaching strategies that are responsive to students' needs.

Abstract

Leadership is the process of influencing organized group activities to achieve goals. The success and failure of a leader is determined by the nature and style of leadership in directing the dynamics. Group. Through the leadership style of a leader, he will transfer several values such as group emphasis, support from people/employees, tolerance to risk, wage criteria and etc. This article aims to analyze the leadership style in Korem 101 Antasari. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Participants in this study are 5 Kodim Commanders in Korem 101 Antasari Banjarmasin who are determined using purposive sampling with the consideration that they have served as Kodim Commanders in Korem 101/Antasari with a term of office of more than 2 years. Data were collected through telephone interviews and analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the leadership style applied at Korem 101 Antasari Banjarmasin is a combination of Transformational, Strategic, Humanistic, humble, and Banjar culture-based leadership.

Abstract

English. The aim of this research is to analyze students independent attitudes through entrepreneurship program with services. Educational institutions and the government not only create a generation that is intelligent in its knowledge but also good in attitude and has potential and skills that are useful for themselves, society, nation and state. To achieve these educational goals, schools, must establish entrepreneurship training programs that aim to develop students potential and entrepreneurial skills. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Implemented in several high schools in the city of Kendari. The data sources in this research were 4 people per school, both teachers and students. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews anddocumentation. The results of this research are that the entrepreneurship program is able to increase students independent attitudes at school through creativity such as selling various kinds of snacks and heavy meals. This is practiced directly in the field during special study hours in the entrepreneurship program and during break times. The attitudes formed in students are independence, cooperation and discipline. This is also able to build and develop students creativity in selling.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of the character-based Full Day School (FDS) model in Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al-Fath Kendari. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The results showed that MTs Al-Fath has implemented the character-based FDS model well. This model is implemented through various programmes and activities, such as classroom learning, extracurricular activities, and character building. The implementation of the character-based FDS model at MTs Al-Fath shows positive results, such as increased student discipline, strengthened character values, and improved student learning achievement.

Abstract

Human Resources is an important asset for organizational development. The role of human resources will be very important In facing various challenges and competition, it requires organizations to improve quality human resources, one of which is by increasing employee job satisfaction. This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of perceived organizational support on job satisfaction, the influence of perceived organizational support on work engagement, the influence of work engagement on job satisfaction, and the mediating influence of work engagement between perceived organizational support on job satisfaction. This research is quantitative research. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling or census. The research sample was all 36 non-permanent employees at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Tanah Laut Regency. Data analysis used path analysis with the SPSS 26 program. The results of the study concluded that (1) perceived organizational support had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction ; (2) perceived organizational support has a significant positive effect on work engagement ; (3) work engagement has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction ; and (4) work engagement partially mediates perceived organizational support and job satisfaction.
