JSWSE publishes scholarly papers that focus on the social science, teaching and learning, science in school settings ranging from early childhood to university education. It bridges the gap between research and practice, providing information, ideas and opinion. Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of physical education learning models through games based on (1) Perceptions of football dribbling learning knowledge, (2) Perceptions of teacher teaching styles, (3) Perceptions of the media used are easy to use, (4) Perceptions of interest in learning football dribbling, (5) Perceptions of the need to develop football dribbling learning models. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The results of this study showed that (1) Perception of football dribbling learning knowledge obtained a score of 87.15% in the very good category, (2) Perception of teacher teaching style obtained a score of 74.35% in the good category, (3) Perception of the media used is easy to use obtained a value of 86.67% in the very good category, (4) Perception of interest in learning football dribbling obtained a value of 93.72% in the very good category, (5) The perception of the need to develop a learning model of basic football dribbling techniques obtained a score of 100% in the very good category, which means that students agree if the development of football dribbling learning. The results of this study show that students’ perceptions of the development of football dribbling learning in Senior High Schools in North Musi Rawas Regency are positive, for that it is necessary to develop football dribbling learning.

Abstract

The Study this done with objective for create and produce something product form media learning based animation material jump Far For class VI. Study R&D This use model development Addie which consists from five stage, that is. 1) stage analysis, 2) stage planning, 3) stage development, 4) stage implementation and 5) evaluation. Subject on study This is student class VI elementary school 169 OKU. Technique collection data form interview no structured, questionnaire, test and documentation. Analysis data in study this is analysis validity, practicality and effect potential. this research produces a product valid animation-based learning media to use with mark 89.4% who have evaluated by three experts in category “very valid”. Based on test one-to-one yielded a value of 89.1 % with answers student category “very practical”, and based on the small grub trial the value was obtained “very practical” with value 85.2%. Besides that, media learning based animation which developed own potential effect which showed with average results study student which reach KKM 70 which set school. So that development instructional media-based animation for material jump far school base proven valid and practical as well as have a potential effect.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was “to determine the Analysis of Movement Skills of Students of SD Alam Lubuklinggau After the Post Covid-19 Pandemic”. This is quantitative descriptive research by providing basic motion, so that the results of skills are obtained and analysis is carried out. The data analysis used in this study calculated the percentage of Movement Skills of SD Alam Lubuklinggau Students After the Post Covid-19 Pandemic. The result was found that the condition of students’ movement skills was still relatively poor after the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the phenomenon that occurs shows that children are more interested in doing electronic games -such as online games, gadgets and, other electronic games. Children feel very comfortable to do the game without feeling bored for a long period of time. On the other hand, the child himself stated that he only felt tired and bored with what was taught by the teacher and did not like to do running and jumping activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of character education through culture-based discipline in school rules at SMP Negeri 4 Kayuagung. Data collection tools using interviews, documentation, observation and literature review. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis with research stages referring to Miles and Huberman’s theory, namely (1) collecting data, (2) data reduction; (3) data presentation; (4) conclusion. The results of the study stated that the implementation of character education through a culture of discipline carrying out discipline at SMP Negeri 4 Kayuagung was carried out in 3 stages, namely (1) Implementation of character education through the preparation of rules and regulations at SMP Negeri 4 Kayuagungyang; (2) Implementation of character education through the implementation of school rules; (3) Evaluation of the implementation of discipline at SMP Negeri 4 Kayuagung. Broadly speaking, the obstacles faced come from family factors, school environmental factors, and community environmental factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the long jump achievement of Elementary School 05 Kikim Timur students. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto research design. This research was conducted at Elementary School 05 Kikim Timur. The sample used was 22 grade 5 students. Data collection techniques used a scale. The data analysis technique uses the normality test. Test the hypothesis using the t-test, and statistical hypothesis using t-test. Based on hypothesis testing with the Independent Sample t-Test at speed t count 3.742 > t table 1.682, agility t count 4.253 > t table 1.682, and power t count 4.321 > t table 1.682. The conclusion from the research conducted was that the average gross motor skills of grade 5 students at SD Negeri 5 Kikim Timur using the traditional long jump game were better. So that traditional games have an influence on students’ gross motor skills.

Abstract

The problem in this study is whether there is a difference in the effect between standing board jump training and jump rope training on the results of long jump squatting style in class VI students of SD Negeri 12 Palembang. This study aims to determine the difference in the effect of standing board jump training and jump rope training on the results of long jump squatting style in grade VI students of SD Negeri 12 Palembang. This type of research is experimental research, using the M-S Pattern method. The population in this study were 6th grade students of SD Negeri 12 Palembang with a total of 30 people. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling technique. The variables of this study consisted of independent variables, namely standing board jump and jump rope training, as well as the dependent variable of squatting style long jump ability. Data collection using the squatting style long jump test method. The data analysis technique uses the t-test formula. Based on the results of research that has been conducted on grade VI students of SD Negeri 12 Palembang, about the effect of standing board jump training and jumping rope on the learning outcomes of long jump squatting style as many as 30 students (sample). The results showed that t value 4.42 > t critical 2.66 at a significant level with db58 means that there is a difference in influence between Standing board jump and jump rope training on the ability of grade VI students of SD Negeri 12 Palembang. From the calculation of the mean, it shows that the mean of experimental group 1 is greater than group 2 (3.63 < 3.53). Thus, it can be concluded that jump rope training has more effect than standing board jump training.

Abstract

Ball Handling is an important technique for achieving increasing basketball dribbling technique training. One of the things that must be done by every athlete in developing and improving sports performance optimally is by diligently practicing, with exercises that must be developed and improved to master basic techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine ball handling exercises on basketball dribbling abilities. This study uses a literature review research method using 16 literature sources, 12 of which are used as data reviewed and taken from nine databases (Google Scholar, UNP Journal, Research Article, Garda Portal, Sinta ristekbrin, JOSSAE) which demonstrate ball handling exercises. The conclusion in ball handling exercises is that there is a need for each according to the sample level examined by previous relevant studies with ball handling exercises that can improve basketball dribbling skills. In designing the training program must be structured.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) differences in the effect of mass training methods and service distance manipulation methods on the results of volleyball topspin skills and (2) differences in volleyball topspin results with good and low hand-eye coordination. Eye-hand coordination on top spin volleyball skills and (3) training methods and hand-eye coordination on top spin volleyball skills. This research method used an experiment with a 2 x 2 factorial design, with a total of 42 people including coaches from the Citra Dara Volleyball Course Institute. The samples taken from this study were 22 people using a purposive sampling technique. The hand-eye coordination test and the volleyball serve test were used in the research instrument, along with the Russell-Lange volleyball serve test. Data analysis techniques using Anava. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a significant difference between the mass training method and the distance manipulation training method in the volleyball top spin results, and (2) there is a significant difference. the result of volleyball peak spin between coaches with high hand-eye coordination and low hand-eye coordination, and (3) training methods and upper server hand-eye coordination affect the results of the game volleyball service.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and find out the Principal’s Strategic Management in Improving the Quality of Education at SMAN 1 Tanjung Lubuk. Data collection tools using interviews, documentation, observation, and literature review. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis with research stages referring to Milles and Huberman’s theory, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study stated that strategic management to improve the quality of education at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Lubuk was carried out by establishing a program to improve the quality of learning. The principal sets the standards for graduates to be achieved. For these graduate standards to be achieved, the principal organizes learning activities according to achievement targets. In addition, the principal also emphasizes that the learning evaluation process carried out by the teacher is carried out objectively and sustainably.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership of the head of SMA LTI IGM Palembang and the implementation of in learning in realizing the profile of Pancasila students. To achieve this goal, a qualitative approach was used. Data were collected by using interview, documentation, and observation. The results showed that the principal conducted planning, implementation, and evaluation of the character of Pancasila students in the school as a whole. The principal has a commendable character and is able to implement it in carrying out his duties and functions as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator; as well as being an example and role model for all educators and education personnel. In the implementation of realizing the profile of Pancasila students through learning both subject learning and Pancasila student recruitment projects.
