Abstract

Educators are one of the vital aspects that control the continuity and success of teaching and learning activities in madrasas. With competent and professional educators, it is believed that the material taught will be quickly distributed to students. And because at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Working Group in Pringsewu there are still things that need to be improved, including that there are still no guidelines in the process of recruiting educators, so that the implementation of the recruitment of educators is still a lot of educators who teach not in accordance with their latest educational background. or not in accordance with their academic qualifications. The purpose of this study was to determine and understand the recruitment of educators who joined the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Working Group in the Pringsewu Environment and to determine the placement of educators who joined the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Working Group in the Pringsewu Environment.The method used in this research was a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the recruitment process for educators begins with planning for teacher needs, namely by analyzing existing needs, announcements of teacher vacancies, requirements that must be met by prospective teachers, selection and various tests, and determination of teacher acceptance. While the factors that become obstacles in the process of recruiting educators and placing educators are: the family system, lack of professionalism in implementing human resource management. Efforts made by madrasa heads in placing educators are done by placing educators who did not match their academic qualifications with the interests and talents of students in accordance with the positions given, and pay attention to the attitudes and appearances of prospective educators who will apply.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the strategies used by school principals in improving the quality of learning in the State Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTsN) of North Lampung Regency through developing teachers' professional competencies. The quality of education is strongly influenced by teachers' qualifications, competence, and dedication in carrying out their professional duties. Principals have a very important role as leaders who can influence, motivate and guide teachers to achieve the desired educational goals. This study used a qualitative approach with a focus on describing and analyzing the phenomenon under study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with principals and teachers, observations, and document studies. The research was conducted in three MTsN in North Lampung District. The results showed that there are various strategies implemented by principals to improve teachers' professional competence. These strategies can be divided into formal and informal activities. Formal activities include participation in seminars, workshops, training, and coaching organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, MGMP, madrasah external mentors, and madrasah supervisors. In addition, non-formal activities such as experience-sharing sessions are also organized to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience between teachers. The study also identified several obstacles faced by principals in developing teachers' professionalism, such as limited mastery of technology, limited teacher creativity, and the lack of scientific research conducted by teachers. Overall, the role of school principals is very significant in improving the quality of learning at MTsN in North Lampung Regency. Through appropriate strategies, both through formal and informal activities, as well as overcoming the obstacles faced, principals can help improve teachers' professional competence and overall learning quality.

Abstract

One of the efforts in instilling nu values is applied a theory and practice for school daily life education. NU is a religious organization that aims to preserve, develop and practice the islamic teachings of ahlusunnah wal jama'ah. The meaning of ahlusunnah wal jama'ah is the followers who cling to the Qur'an, al-Hadith, al-Ijma' and al-Qiyas. Every principal is leader, especially in Ma'arif schools they need to implement or practice the values, namely Tawasuth or I'tidal, Tawazun, Tasamuh and Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Mungkar in their school environment. The method used in this thesis is a qualitative descriptive method. The conclusions in this study proved the principal of Ma'arif school in Central Lampung applied the values of NU leadership both in and outside of the school environment by carrying out various kinds of activities which usually conducted by NU such as reading Tahlil, Istighazah, Shalawat etc., moreover every principal also applied an attitude of tolerance, fairness, teaching good things to all school residents. The purpose of in this research is to see the values of principal leadership in applying of cultural NU in Ma'arif school in Central Lampung, using a descriptive qualitative method, the data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews and documentation. The data would be analyzed, re-presented or reduced and finally the conclusions are drawn. Then the data is triangulated using source triangulation. The results of this study show that NU leadership values in Ma'arif school Central Lampung, are applied in extracurricular forms, such as: Tawasuth or I'tidal, and the implementation are fair attitudes that portrayed by the principal and directly implemented or exemplified to teachers and students. Tasamuh, is a tolerant attitude means the principal exemplifying the value to all school residents and human being without discriminating them. Tawazun is a balanced attitude where the principal exemplifies attitude of working everyday which is balanced by praying and worship.  Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Mungkar, is an attitude to always doing good way and leaving the bad way, this exemplified in the behave of not insulting each other and instead of helping each other. In his leadership, the principal implemented NU cultural values to all school residents which implemented in his attitudes and behaviors.

Abstract

The excellent class program is a breakthrough in the world of education. The excellent class program aims to improve the quality of education and the quality of human resources by providing a platform for special gifted and intelligent students so that they can be given the right treatment for them. MTs Negeri 2 is a madrasa that has implemented an excellent class program. This study aims to determine the success of the implementation of the excellent class program at MTsN 2 Bandar Lampung using qualitative methods. The results showed that: a). The implementation of the excellent class program can improve student achievement, b). The number of graduate students who can be absorbed by favorite schools, c). supporting factors for the implementation of the excellent class program are the excellent class team at MTsN 2 Bandar Lampung with teachers who have good competence, the madrasa committee that supports facilitating the implementation of the excellent class program c) the inhibiting factor is that teachers are still not maximal in motivating and monitoring participants in implementing the activities in the excellent class program, the change in the learning schedule during the pandemic caused many programs not to run optimally, the accompanying teacher and the head of implementing activities in the program who did not provide periodic and periodic program implementation reports d) It is necessary to increase the ability of teachers in an effort improve professionals through the implementation of training, workshops, seminars and workshops.

Abstract

Upaya peningkatan mutu madrasah dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, dari beberapa faktor tersebut terkait dengan kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik.   Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik yang baik akan meningkatan mutu madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan ada tidaknya: (1) Pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala madrasah terhadap peningkatan mutu MTs Negeri di Bandar Lampung. (2) Pengaruh ko mpetensi tenaga pendidik dalam hal ini adalah guru terhadap peningkatan mutu MTs Negeri di Bandar Lampung. (3) Pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala madrasah  dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik terhadap peningkatan mutu MTs Negeri di Bandar Lampung secara bersama. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Dari populasi 163 tenaga pendidik diambil sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 70 tenaga pendidik yang ditentukan secara acak (random sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan nilai koefisien korelasi yaitu: Satu, kepemimpinan kepala madrasah terhadap peningkatan mutu madrasah sebesar 80,2%. Kedua, kompetensi tenaga pendidik terhadap peningkatan mutu madrasah sebesar 72,5%. Ketiga, kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik secara bersama-sama terhadap peningkatan mutu madrasah sebesar 84,5%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa peningkatan kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik dapat meningkatkan peningkatan mutu madrasah. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik terhadap peningkatan mutu Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) di Kota Bandar Lampung. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya peningkatan peningkatan mutu madrasah harus senantiasa memperhatikan kedua elemen tersebut. Dengan kata lain bahwa peningkatan mutu madrasah dapat ditingkatkan seiring dengan peningkatan kualitas kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik.

Abstract

This study aims to see how this speech training program works. This research is focused on Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Campus 7 Kalianda South Lampung using a goal oriented evaluation model. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with an evaluation research design by conducting observations, interviews, and reviewing program implementation documents. Sources of information were obtained through interviews with speech training program supervisors, speech training program supervisors, and students. The results of the research on the evaluated components indicate that the goal oriented of Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Campus 7 Kalianda South Lampung has been successfully implemented. It can be seen from the existing planning, organization, implementation, and control. However, there are also some students who still have not mastered the content of their speech and the intonation when giving a speech is also still lacking.

Abstract

Education is one thing that is very important for humans, as long as humans are still alive in the life of this world then education can never be sparated from him. In the pre-research, researchers obtained an overview of theleadership style of the madrasah head using a democratic leadership style. As for the interview, the researcher is attached in appendix 1. In democratic  leadership describes leaders who tend to involve subordinates in making decisions, delegating authority, encouraging participation and deciding work methods and goals. In a democratic leadership style that involves subordinates and has many advantages, however, in democratic leadership at MIN 2 West Lampung, conflicts  still occur. Conflict is conflict is the process of directing discrepancies between  two or more members or organizational groups that arise because they have different statuses, goals, values or perceptions. The type of research used in this paper is descriptive research, using a qualitative approach. Based on the discussion and analysis of the data in this study, related to the leadership style of the madrasah head in resolving conflicts at MIN 2 West Lampung, it is concluded that. The type of research used in this paper is descriptive research, using a qualitative approach. The way leaders delegate responsibility to subordinates in resolving conflicts is good. The active communication of leaders to subordinates in resolving conflicts is good. The method of decision-making by the head of the madrasah by involving subordinates in resoving conflicts is good. Empatthy that leaders do to their subordinatos in resolving conflictis good.

Abstract

Visionary leadership is the ability to create and articulate a realistic, believable, and attractive vision for the future challenges of an organization that continues to grow and improve compared to today. Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Bandar Lampung shows a superior and quality madrasah. Of course superior and quality madrasas cannot be separated from the visionary leadership of the madrasa head. This type of research is descriptive qualitative in nature. Sources of research data include the head of the madrasa, deputy head of curriculum, teachers and students. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity test of the data used is technical triangulation. The findings of this study include the role of visionary leadership as a determinant of direction, agent of change, spokesperson, and trainer or supporter in improving the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the readiness for independent curriculum implementation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Lampung Timur. The independent curriculum is a policy that focuses on developing student potential and avoiding administrative pressure and other policies, to produce better teacher potential. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. This study shows the readiness of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Lampung Timur, which includes learning planning, learning process, and assessment evaluation. There are advantages to the independent curriculum, such as flexibility for teachers in teaching according to the stage of development and the needs of students. However, there are still weaknesses in the teaching system that have not been well planned. In addition, internal factors such as student motivation, attitudes, and interests, as well as external factors such as parental support, madrasah head leadership, madrasah facilities, learning systems, learning methods, and teacher competence are inhibiting factors in the implementation of the independent curriculum. The obstacles faced in implementing the independent curriculum include limited material books, so teachers have to look for additional sources. In addition, teachers also face challenges in adjusting learning methods to the independent curriculum. This research provides an overview of the readiness to implement the independent curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Lampung Timur, focusing on lesson planning, implementation of the learning process, and evaluation. The obstacles faced in implementing the independent curriculum are an important concern in optimizing the implementation of the independent curriculum in the future.

Abstract

Lampung Province is intensively developing local tourism because natural resources (SDA) are very supportive of the potential for tourism development. One of the tourist attractions is Puncak Nirwana, which is located in Kupang Jernih village, Sukarame II, West Teluk Betung District, Bandar Lampung City. The progress of the current tourism economy is very strategic. Many local residents are motivated to make progress on tourism potential in their respective areas. With the increase in the tourism economy, it is one of the projects that can provide benefits for local residents. This is also driven by the progress of the tourism economy which is currently skyrocketing and provides benefits for many parties. This research was conducted using a qualitative method and a descriptive approach. The emergence of the Puncak Nirwana Lampung tourist attraction has clearly had an impact on changing socio-economic conditions for the surrounding community, apart from changing the income of the local community, the emergence of the Puncak Nirwana Lampung tourist attraction has changed the mindset and perspective of the community, where people are more open and motivated to learn about managing tourist attractions. promotion for the progress of their environment. The advice given is the need for more serious and consistent management so that the Puncak Nirwana Lampung tourist attraction can survive for a long time and be able to compete again with other tourist attractions.
