Abstract

Rumah Tangga merupakan lingkup terkecil dari masyarakat yang terdiri dari kepala keluarga dan anggota keluarga yang tinggal dalam satu rumah dimana antara yang satu dengan lainnya merupakan satu kesatuan dan saling membutuhkan yang diperkuat dengan adanya perkawinan. Digunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis data dari bahan hukum seperti konsep, teori, doktrin dan pendapat ahli. Berbagai upaya dilakukan pemerintah dalam mencegah terjadinya kekerasan rumah tangga dengan membuat kebijakan tentang penghapusan kekerasan rumah tangga, mengadakan komunikasi, informasi dan edukasi tentang kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, mengadakan sosialisasi, penyuluhan, advokasi tentang kekerasan dalam rumah tangga serta menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan pelatihan isu kekerasan dalam rumah tangga.Kata Kunci: Perlindungan Hukum, Perempuan, Kekerasan Rumah Tangga

Abstract

ABSTRACT   This research aims to: (1) To determine the level of verbal violence among parents in Dolok Marlawan Village, Siantar District, Simalungun Regency; (2) To determine the level of mental health of adolescents in Dolok Marlawan Village, Siantar District, Simalungun Regency; (3) To determine the influence of verbal violence perpetrated by parents on the mental health of adolescents in Dolok Marlawan Village, Siantar District, Simalungun Regency.. The sampling method in this research used a quantitative method with a descriptive approach.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa The determination value obtained was 69.22% while the remaining 30.78% (100% - 69.22%) was influenced and explained by other variables not included in this research.   ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Untuk mengetahui tingkat kekerasan verbal orang tua di Desa Dolok Marlawan Kecamatan Siantar Kabupaten Simalungun; (2) Untuk mengetahui tingkat kesehatan mental remaja di Desa Dolok Marlawan Kecamatan Siantar Kabupaten Simalungun; (3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara kekerasan verbal yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap kesehatan mental remaja di Desa Dolok Marlawan Kecamatan Siantar Kabupaten Simalungun. Cara pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Diperoleh nilai determinasi yaitu 69,22% sedangkan sisanya 30,78% (100% - 69,22% ) dipengaruhi dan dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study focuses on women's perspectives and elaborates on the growing “Marriage is Scary” phenomenon on social media. The research involved female respondents in a survey to learn their perspectives on gender roles in marriage, the risks that may arise, and marriage itself. The results showed that many respondents consider marriage to be an important part of their lives as it can provide emotional support and maintain the purity of the couple. However, bad experiences of others and negative content on social media, such as infidelity and domestic violence, cause fear of marriage.

Abstract

This study aims to increase junior high school students' self-awareness regarding premarital sex through the application of audiovisual media content services. Using a pre-experimental research design, this study involved 32 seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Air Batu. The results showed a significant increase in the mean score of students' self-awareness after participating in the intervention program, from 81.03 to 109.41. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed a statistically significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. These results indicate that audiovisual media content services are effective in increasing students' self-awareness of premarital sex. Thus, this study provides empirical evidence regarding the potential use of audiovisual media as an adolescent sex education tool.

Abstract

Family relationships can be incredibly complex and differ from family to family.Encanto is an animated musical film from Disney that takes us to a magical village in the mountains of Colombia. This village, known as Encanto, is where each member of the Madrigal family has a unique power. However, there is one who does not, and that is Mirabel. This makes her feel different and not fully accepted by her family. The purpose of this study is to find out and understand how the dynamics that exist in the Madrigal family's Encanto movie.In this study, a qualitative descriptive method was used. The choice of this method is based on the focus of the research which aims to analyze the emotional aspects depicted in the characters in the film “Encanto”. Data collection techniques with literature study and documentation. Data Processing and Analysis Techniques with Narrative Analysis which analyzes the storyline, conflict, and resolution in the film. Family Systems Theory views the family as an interrelated system. Changes to one part of the system will impact the other parts. In the context of Encanto, this theory helps us understand that the problem Mirabel faces is not just an individual problem, but rather a problem that involves the entire Madrigal family.The movie actually presents many messages and themes that are very relevant to life.

Abstract

Dating anxiety is a phenomenon commonly experienced during dating. Although much research has been conducted on dating anxiety measurement tools abroad, the adaptation of these tools in Indonesian cultural context remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to examine the reliability and validity of the Dating Anxiety Scale for Adolescents adapted in Indonesia. The measurement scale consists of 21 items assessing 3 dimensions namely Fear of Negative Evaluation, Social Distress-Dating, and Social Distress-Group. The study involved 202 respondents aged 18-30 years in Indonesia. The results of confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the model did not fully fit the data, such as chi-square value of 531.790, CFI 0.770, TLI 0.739, and NFI 0.701, which did not meet the standard fit criteria. However, the reliability test results with Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient showed a significant value of 0.909, indicating this measurement tool has good internal consistency and can be relied upon to measure dating anxiety.

Abstract

This study examines the legal protection for dentists in medical services, considering the increasing legal risks due to malpractice lawsuits. Dentists play a crucial role in the community's dental and oral health, but legal challenges such as patient complaints and ethical issues can threaten their professionalism. Adequate legal protection is needed so that dentists can practice safely and efficiently. Regulations such as the Medical Practice Law and the Health Law provide a legal framework that protects the rights of dentists while ensuring the quality of service for patients. This research method uses a normative legal approach with a literature study. This study aims to explain the regulations that protect dentists, their legal responsibilities, the challenges they face, and the role of the dispute resolution system. The results indicate the need for increased legal protection so that dentists can operate in a safe and professional environment, as well as recommendations for strengthening access to malpractice insurance and efficient dispute resolution.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and understand how Kaluna’s character in the film “Home Sweet Loan” reflects elements of masculinity and gender roles. Using Tzvetan Todorov’s narrative analysis, the study explores Kaluna’s journey through five stages. The results show that Kaluna depicts the flexibility and dynamics of gender roles with masculine traits such as courage, assertiveness, and independence. Eagly A.H. social role theory in the study changes the perception of women as weak figures. The film raises the issue of masculinity and women living in a patriarchal culture, influencing the audience’s perception of gender roles

Abstract

Children are individuals who legally require special protection due to limitations in dealing with problems, including when they become victims of crime. One form of crime that is very detrimental to children is sexual exploitation. Discussing legal regulations and forms of protection for children as victims of sexual exploitation. Acts of sexual exploitation as a serious crime against children's rights. Based on Article 59A of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection, the government is required to provide special protection for children who are victims of sexual exploitation. The protection provided consists of handling, psychological assistance, provision of social assistance and assistance in every legal process.

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the importance of alternative dispute resolution in resolving health disputes through mediation as stated in Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health. Health disputes involve conflicts between patients and medical personnel, health workers or hospitals. This paper will discuss the urgency of alternative dispute resolution through mediation in resolving health disputes after the enactment of Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health. The results of this paper can provide benefits on how important it is to resolve health disputes through mediation without going through the role of the courts which are expected to create a win-win solution for all parties.
