Abstract: The representation of women and men in public discourse are often problematic. In everyday discourse, women are still considered as secondary and inferior to men. This presents a problem when taking discourses on women into media realm. The profile of workingwomen is often displayed in media mainly through male viewpoint. This study aims to look at the media coverage of women success in public sector. The framing analysis method is used to analyse the framing issues of workingwomen in Suara Merdeka newspaper. The study found that the representation of workingwomen in Suara Merdeka is still dominated by male perspective. Abstrak: Gambaran perempuan dan laki-laki dalam wacana publik sering kali masih problematik. Dalam wacana sehari-hari, perempuan masih dinomorduakan. Problem ini menjadi lebih kompleks saat masuk ke ranah media. Profil perempuan pekerja sering ditampilkan melalui perspektif laki-laki. Studi ini bertujuan untuk melihat pemberitaan media mengenai keberhasilan perempuan di sektor publik. Metode analisis framing dipakai untuk memdedah pembingkaian isu-isu wanita pekerja dalam surat kabar Suara Merdeka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa representasi perempuan pekerja di surat kabar Suara Merdeka masih didominasi oleh sudut pandang laki-laki.

Pengembangan desa wisata menjadi salah satu cara yang dapat ditempuh untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dan meningkatkan perekonomian desa. Kearifan lokal yang dimiliki masing-masing desa menjadi potensi yang dapat berkembang secara optimal dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Desa Tanjung, Juwiring, Klaten menjadi salah satu daerah yang sedang merintis pembangunan desa wisata dengan industri payung lukis muto sebagai produk utamanya. Untuk mencapai kesuksesan, masyarakat setempat wajib menerapkan perencanaan dan pengelolaan yang strategis. Penelitian ini menganalisis masalah yang berkaitan dengan pariwisata di Desa Wisata Tanjung, yaitu desa wisata ini belum melakukan pemasaran yang optimal, dan kemudian menemukan solusinya dengan menyusun strategi kreatif dan media sebagai suatu strategi promosi yang diejewantahkan dalam integrated marketing communication (IMC). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai rujukan dalam implementas perwujudan Desa Wisata Tanjung Kecamatan Juwiring

Di dalam pandangan tradisional, perempuan distigmatisasi menjadi lemah lembut dan anggun. Oleh karena itu, sangat jarang kita melihat perempuan mengatakan kata kasar di ruang publik karena tabu bagi mereka. Media sosial menyediakan ruang virtual bagi orang untuk berinteraksi tanpa batas yang jelas. Orang-orang di Internet (netizen) dapat mengatakan hampir semuanya di media sosial tanpa memikirkan dampak negatif pada apa yang mereka katakan. Beberapa netizen melewati batas kesusilaan dengan mengucapkan kata kasar kepada netizen lain tanpa berpikir yang mungkin menyakiti seseorang. Studi terbaru menunjukkan bahwa kata-kata kasar dapat menyebabkan cyberbully yang pada akhirnya akan mengarah ke bunuh diri. Dengan demikian menggunakan kata kasar di media sosial mungkin memiliki dampak yang sama dengan menggunakannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Kemajuan media sosial telah menyebabkan penggunaannya dalam politik praktis. Kandidat politik menggunakan media sosial untuk mempromosikan profil mereka dan akhirnya mendapatkan pemilih. Sayangnya tidak semua dari mereka yang memposting komentar di media sosial beretika, termasuk perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan Twitter dalam mengeluarkan kata umpatan berdasarkan perbedaan gender dalam pemilihan gubernur. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis Twitter sebagai platform media sosial paling umum yang digunakan dalam politik. Sebagai contoh, penelitian ini menangkap 5000 tweet dari pemilihan pilkada Sumatera Utara 2018 di Indonesia. Teknik statistik deskriptif digunakan dalam menganalisis data.

The development of technology has a tremendous impact on human life,including teenagers. Since Instagram has become an increasingly social mediadevelopment, adolescents in the city of Surakarta are also no less behind. This studytries to explore the impact of becoming Instagram high users among high schoolstudents in Surakarta, especially those related to the motivation of activities carriedout by celebrities on their Instagram accounts. The respondents involved in thisstudy were 10th grade students from SMA Negeri 1 and SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta,using simple random sampling technique. Meanwhile, the data collection techniquewas carried out by using an online questionnaire, using a Google form which wasfilled intensively accompanied. The findings of this study are, in general therespondents are active Instagram users who can be included in the heavy userscategory. However, activities imitating the behavior of celebrities who are mostlynegative are not carried out in daily life. Further research that can be done is toexamine the specifics and depth, what factors influence the imitation of celebritybehavior through Instagram.

With regard to globalization, the field of education is undergoing a system regeneration that enables the exchange of information, the development of organizational culture and the development of education systems with an international dimension. Internationalization becomes a system which is then widely applied to educational institutions such as universities. The internationalization process carried out by a tertiary institution can be reviewed through the ranking of educational institutions carried out by various world ranking institutions such as QS Stars and can also be monitored through an information platform owned by the relevant agency. Internationalization of tertiary institutions has begun to be implemented in Indonesia and is a program being promoted by the Ministry of Research and Higher Education. Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) is one of the tertiary institutions that is working towards internationalization. Since the last few years, UNS has continued to carry out programs related to internationalization. In addition, UNS also seeks to communicate the internationalization program that is being undertaken to the public by publishing a campus agenda through an information platform such as a website. This study looks at the representation of the UNS website in conveying information to the public and its stakeholders based on international indicators of QS Star ranking. The data used is in the period June August 2018. The results of the study show that only academic reputation and international student ratios are the most widely displayed on the UNS website.

The popularity of social media attracts many people to participate in various activities every day. Social media usually comes in the form of audio, graphics, video text and animations that provide convenience to its users to disseminate and access information quickly amd easily. Without realizing it, parents often show off their children's personal data in their parents' and children's accounts, usually for personal or business purposes. The purpose of this study is to examine more about the efforts made by parents to protect children's data privacy on Instagram social media accounts. This study uses the meta-analysis method of the literature study on previous studies. In this study, we want to see how the role of digital literacy in protecting children's personal data is and how to conceptualize children's self-protection digital literacy on social media. The findings of this study with the concept, threats, recommendations regarding the importance of digital literacy for personal data protection and conceptual integration can be used as a reference in further research. The protection of children's personal data is important to thwart the threat of cyber crime, violence and online extortion. It can also be one of the guarantees for children’s good growth and development because the data will not be misused by other parties for financial gain or to threaten children.

Kewirausahaan masyarakat memerlukan banyak dukungan dari institusi perguruan tinggi. Salah satunya adalah transfer pengetahuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Ponggok. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melatih mitra untuk dapat menerapkan komunikasi pemasaran terpadu dalam usaha olahan ikan. Hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mitra menyadari pentingnya mengimplementasikan komunikasi pemasaran terpadu yang mana dapat membantu untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan meningkatkan kualitas usaha mereka.

A company is developing a strategy for product introduction to a crowded audience. An effective promotional method involves endorsements by prominent figures such as celebrities and community leaders. The company utilizes its service, branded as Shipper, to deliver products. Pair Gram and a currently trending YouTuber serve as endorsers for the product. The endorsers in question are Fiki Naki and Dayana. However, disputes arose between the endorsers, leading to misunderstandings in the digital realm. This conflict resulted in many followers expressing dissatisfaction and unfollowing Dayana's account. The objective of the study is to analyze digital advertising's impact on brand credibility and consumer response to Shipper's products using ethnographic methods. The methodology involves detailed observation of social media data from Instagram, particularly the comment sections on Fiki Naki's endorsement content. The study's findings indicate that the brand credibility associated with Fiki Naki and Dayana received negative feedback from their followers in the comments. Followers perceived the endorsed products as inauthentic, viewing the videos as mere entertainment rather than genuine endorsements. The findings highlight two key concepts, consumer understanding of endorsement activities and the professionalism inherent in endorsement collaborations.
