Abstract

The importance of human resources for every organization is expected to improve employee performance, for that human resources need to have reliable competencies or skills in every job, because the existence of reliable competencies can directly improve employee performance. The research method used is a quantitative method by conducting direct research to employees at the Ministry of Public Works of the Maluku Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center. The number of samples was 49 respondents and was processed using  SPSS software version 21. In the results of the partial determination coefficient test, the value of the determination coefficient of variable X1 was 0.196 and the strength of the relationship between variables X1 and Y was 19.6%. The X2 variable is 0.031, the relationship strength between the X2 and Y variables is 31%. In the results of the simultaneous determination coefficient test, an R square value of 0.343 was obtained, the relationship between the variables X1 and X2 was 34.3%. It shows that the variables of Competency and Work Environment have a simultaneous positive effect on the variables of Employee Performance.

Abstract

This study examines the role of organizational culture and supervision systems in improving the performance of non-medical staff in private hospitals. Using a quantitative approach with 85 respondents, the analysis shows a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and non-medical staff performance. The most influential dimensions are teamwork, results orientation, and employee involvement. These findings highlight that strengthening organizational culture and continuous supervision are essential to achieving organizational goals and enhancing the quality of non-medical services.

Abstract

This observation examines the attitudes of teachers and staff as agents of change at SMKS Dhuafa Padang. Teachers and staff play a crucial role in driving positive change in the school environment, making it more adaptive and innovative. Direct observation and interviews were used to capture their attitudes in carrying out these roles. Observations indicate that teachers actively initiate change through the development of learning methods and effective communication with students and colleagues. Staff also contribute by providing effective service and supporting the smooth running of school activities. Motivational leadership and a collaborative work culture are key supporting factors. Challenges identified include limited facilities and resistance to change. Efforts to address these barriers include training, improved communication, and strengthening work morale. This study confirms that positive attitudes of teachers and staff as agents of change are crucial for creating a dynamic and competitive school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap produktivitas karyawan di PT Sanly Industri. Budaya organisasi merupakan sistem nilai, norma, dan keyakinan yang dianut oleh seluruh anggota organisasi yang memengaruhi cara mereka berpikir, bertindak, dan berinteraksi. Budaya yang kuat dan selaras dengan tujuan perusahaan diyakini mampu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang positif, meningkatkan motivasi, serta mendorong kinerja karyawan secara optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan dari berbagai divisi di PT Sanly Industri. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana untuk mengetahui sejauh mana budaya organisasi memengaruhi tingkat produktivitas kerja. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan. Dimensi budaya seperti komitmen terhadap kualitas, keterbukaan komunikasi, dan penghargaan terhadap kinerja individu terbukti mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas kerja karyawan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa perusahaan perlu mempertahankan dan memperkuat nilai-nilai budaya organisasi yang mendukung pertumbuhan produktivitas. Dengan membangun budaya kerja yang kondusif, perusahaan tidak hanya meningkatkan output kerja tetapi juga membentuk loyalitas dan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu, manajemen PT Sanly Industri disarankan untuk terus mengevaluasi dan menyelaraskan budaya organisasi dengan strategi perusahaan guna menciptakan sinergi yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini juga membuka peluang untuk kajian lebih lanjut yang melibatkan faktor lain seperti kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja dalam meningkatkan produktivitas.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the extent to which work discipline and compensation affect the productivity levels of Omah Kalang Restaurant employees. The research method used in this study is quantitative with a survey approach. The respondents of this study were 37 employees of Omah Kalang Restaurant, thus the sampling technique used was saturated sampling/census. Data was collected through Likert-scale questionnaires with 5 levels. The results show that work discipline has a positive influence with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, while compensation shows no influence with a significance value of 0.240 > 0.05. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant influence with an F-value of 33.071 and a coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2) of 0.641, meaning that 64.1% of work productivity is influenced by work discipline and compensation. In conclusion, good work discipline and appropriate compensation together are able to increase employee work productivity

Abstract

Change management is a systematic approach to managing organizational transformation in order to achieve efficiency, effectiveness, and competitive advantage. This study discusses the initial three stages of change management: Entering, Contracting, and Diagnosing. Entering involves the initial process of identifying problems and the urgency for change; Contracting focuses on formulating agreements between the change agent and the organizational client; while Diagnosing is carried out to analyze the root causes of problems in order to develop appropriate change strategies. Using a qualitative approach through literature review and case studies from Indonesian organizations, this article highlights the importance of these initial stages in supporting well-planned and sustainable change. The findings are expected to serve as a practical reference for organizations in designing effective organizational transformation.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of Education Management Standards in improving the quality of education at SD Negeri 11 Pancung Soal. Education management standards are a key component of the National Education Standards, which regulate the planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of educational activities systematically and sustainably. This study uses a qualitative approach based on literature review to identify strategies, challenges, and the impact of implementing management standards in the elementary school. The findings indicate that SD Negeri 11 Pancung Soal applies self-evaluation-based school planning, structured learning programs, and continuous monitoring and evaluation. The implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) principles provides autonomy to the school in resource management and community involvement. Despite facing challenges such as limited infrastructure and the need for teacher competency development, the school strives to improve education quality through teacher training, facility optimization, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Consistent implementation of management standards has proven to enhance teacher professionalism, accountability, transparency, and the quality of student learning outcomes. These findings suggest that effective implementation of education management standards can be a key factor in improving the quality of education at the elementary level.

Abstract

Standard deviation and variance are two statistical measures that play a crucial role in educational management, particularly in assessing disparities in student learning outcomes. This article aims to examine the theoretical concepts of these measures and their implications for educational managerial decision-making. The study employed a library research method, reviewing relevant books, journals, and regulations. Findings indicate that standard deviation and variance provide a comprehensive view of the distribution of student scores, helping to identify differences in abilities, performance consistency, and curriculum effectiveness. Their application is not only relevant for academic evaluation but also for budget planning, satisfaction measurement, and policy risk analysis. Therefore, understanding and applying standard deviation and variance can serve as a foundation for education management to design more targeted and data-driven interventions.

Abstract

Manajemen pendidikan berbasis data menuntut penyajian informasi yang tidak hanya akurat, tetapi juga komunikatif. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya penyajian data statistik dalam konteks pendidikan, khususnya untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang berbasis bukti. Melalui studi pustaka, dikaji ragam format penyajian data seperti tabel, grafik, dan infografis, serta media penyajian yang mencakup media cetak, digital, hingga multimedia interaktif. Ditekankan pula prinsip visualisasi data yang efektif, strategi penyusunan data yang menarik, serta pandangan para ahli terkait pentingnya penyajian data yang mudah dipahami oleh semua pemangku kepentingan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa visualisasi data yang tepat mampu meningkatkan pemahaman, akurasi kebijakan, serta kualitas evaluasi dalam dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

Educational evaluation is not limited to descriptive assessments but requires the application of a structured statistical approach to obtain an objective picture of learning achievement. Measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode) and measures of position (quartiles, deciles, percentiles) play a vital role in mapping students’ score distributions, identifying disparities, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Based on a review of the literature and relevant regulations, including Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation No. 23 of 2016, transparent and accountable evaluation requires the integration of these two types of measures. This study employs a literature review method by examining books, scholarly journals, and official documents. The findings reveal that measures of central tendency provide a summary of the middle value, while measures of position indicate the relative standing of scores within the distribution. Together, they can be used to detect outliers and design more targeted learning interventions. A simulation using hypothetical data demonstrates that applying these measures yields a more accurate categorization of achievements compared to relying solely on the average. In decision-making, the application of both classical and Bayesian statistical methods can improve the accuracy of planning, control, and prediction of learning outcomes. This study underscores that mastering and optimally applying measures of central tendency and position constitutes a strategic step in enhancing the quality of learning evaluation in schools.
