Abstract

Red Ginger is popularly consumed worldwide as a pleasant drink and for its health benefits, which are largely due to its composition. The utilization of Red Ginger has not been maximized. Most people are not interested in red ginger because it tastes bad and do not know much about how to process it. Red Ginger contains good nutritional composition for health such as containing mineral elements including potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, chlorine and a number of vitamins although in small amounts. This Red Ginger has been processed into several products such as flavorings in food, compositions in herbal medicine. For this reason, it is necessary to diversify processed products from red ginger such as making syrup. The method of implementing community service is by conducting training on how to make syrup from red ginger. Syrup from red ginger is an innovation from agricultural products that can be processed into something that has high economic value.Keywords : Red Ginger, Syrup, Improves Family Health and Economy

Abstract

Drones are advanced technology that can help humans in transportation because they can see almost everything and save human energy. In fact, in some cases, they may not disrupt traffic like regular vehicles. The Technical Guidance Activity to Increase Capacity in the Use and Utilization of Drone Data (UHV/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is intended to provide West Aceh District Land Service officials with insight and knowledge about the use and utilization of drone data. The purpose of this service is to provide an introduction and insight to West Aceh District Land Service officials regarding the use and utilization of drone data (UHV/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) as well as providing direction and knowledge about the steps for implementing the use and utilization of drone data. The Technical Guidance Activity for Increasing the Capacity of Use and Utilization of Drone Data (UHV/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) for West Aceh Regency Land Service officials is an activity held by the USK Forestry Research Center in collaboration with Teuku Umar University on Wednesday 15 February 2023 from at 08.30 until finished. The theme of the material provided is Mapping Using Drones and its application in making contour maps with the help of GIS applications. The method used is a presentation. With this technical guidance regarding the Use and Utilization of Drone Data (UHV/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), participants understand the ease of processing map data, especially those related to land mapping.  Keyword : Drone, UHV/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Mapping

Abstract

Menstruasi merupakan kondisi alami yang dialami oleh perempuan usia subur. Walaupun menstruasi  merupakan  hal  yang  alamiah  yang  dialami,  kejadian  menstruasi  akan  memiliki dampak buruk bagi kesehatan jika tidak dibarengi dengan pengetahuan dan  praktik hygiene yang baik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswi Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Banda Aceh tentang manajemen hygiene ketika mengalami menstruasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 23 Juli 2022 di Aula MAN 2 Banda Aceh. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 150 siswi kelas XI dan XII. Metode edukasi yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan diskusi terarah. Diharapkan kepada guru dan petugas kesehatan untuk dapat melakukan edukasi yang berkesinambungan terkait dengan permasalahan kesehatan reproduksi kepada siswi, terutama berkaitan dengan manajemen pada saat menstruasi kepada siswi, sehingga siswi memperoleh pemahaman yang memadai tentang personal hygiene ketika menstruasi.

Abstract

Non-governmental activities that carried out directly by the community are prone to have inappropriate management with the implementation both at the time of planning, field work and reporting. In the implementation of non-governmental activities, many problems arise related to governance in the filed and it is uncommon to have deal with laws to governance that in accordance with procedures. One of the efforts to avoid the inappropriate planning as well as managing activities is requiring the project management which includes planning, scheduling, and controlling. The expected outcome of this activity is the community and village officials can understand the objectives of the project management and direct implementation in managing the village activities. This activity was carried out in three steps, namely introduction to project management, introduction to work drawing/technical drawing and introduction to the budget calculation/RAB with participants which were village officials and the community of Gampong Lancang Garam, Banda Sakti, Lhokseumawe. Abstract

The development of information technology has a major influence almost on all aspects of life, including education. However, if used unwisely, the information technology can be very detrimental to its users. One of the main reasons is due to the large amount of unfiltered technological media negative contents which are easily accessed. Therefore, it is very important to introduce appropriate information technology for young children. It is also important to teach parent how to guide and supervise their young children in utilizing the information technology. Hence, this community service activity of Introduction and Socialization of Information Technology for Early Childhood Education is conducted. The targeting audiences of this service are students and teachers at Kota Baru Kindergarten, Banda Aceh. This community service activity is funded by Abulyatama University. This activity was attended by 17 participants of teachers and pre-school students. The obtained result evaluation show that the community service activity increases the knowledge of the pre-school student and teachers regarding how to use the information technology safely. This service activity was successfully conducted due to tremendous support from many groups especially the participants, whom were enthusiastic and actively participated in this socialization activity. Keywords: socialization, information technology, learning media, young children,PAUD

Abstract

Blang miro village is one of the villages in Aceh Besar which is located in the mountains, where the residents are farmers and gardeners. From the results of surveys and interviews with residents, it was found that there are still many children in elementary schools in the village who are less interested in learning mathematics, because they are considered the subject to be difficult and less interesting. So that the value for math lessons decreased. So the purpose of this service is to teach mathematics by using simple teaching aids for elementary school children, so that interest in learning mathematics arises. One of them is to use origami paper on fractional material and build a flat or wake up space. The method used is contextual learning, simulation and testing of teaching aids. The results of this service are 1) participants can make simple teaching aids 2) participants can use teaching aids in learning mathematics, especially fractions and flat shapes or shapes 3) participants enjoy using teaching aids and increase student interest in learning mathematics.Keywords: mathematics, origami paper

Abstract

This community service is for increase knowledge and insight regarding making tumpeng rice so that housewives not only take care of the family at home, but have skills and skills that can be used to increase family income. benefit. The output obtained from this community service activity includes (1) the participants can add knowledge and insight about making tumpeng rice which can be used to increase family income(2) From the results of the training, participants are skilled and have the expertise to sell mini tumpeng rice to the community which in the end will increase family income and understand the content of the material and at the end of the session there is question and answer time, several questions are obtained from participants and the community including: (a) How do you market tumpeng rice in the internal and external environment? Abstract

Al-Munawarah Mosque is one of the prayer rooms located in Kajhu Indah, Aceh Besar. Which one to functions as a place of worship, but also has a role as a means of community interaction, such as playgroup, Al Qur'an of Education and sport. The purpose is to give a specially design for mosque between administrators and the community about the importance of discussion and consultation on design in planning for fence renovations in their environment. The expected output from the implementation of this program is to produce a good decorative design element on the fence, so that the fence can be realized as magnificent and beautiful as possible. Almost around the fence on the outer side of the mosque, it is no longer feasible so renovation is needed. To achieve this, a good design concept is used and a method of assisting design consulting services so that the objectives of this program can be appropriate as needed together. Abstract

Applying the history of mathematics in learning is a tool (history as a tool) or strategy for building meaningful and value-laden learning. Nowadays, we often encounter mathematics learning that only emphasizes the use of formulas without paying attention to the beneficial aspects of the material being taught. Educators argue that students must achieve material targets according to predetermined bills. The result is that children study mathematics for years but are still "blind" to mathematics. Mathematics is the mother of world civilization, where the object of study is socio-cultural-historical. History is everything related to the origins or stories about the formation/creation of something. just as we know, mathematics is the result of human thought, which has a long history to arrive at the form of mathematics we often find today. The existence of this history of mathematics needs to be known and studied. Because through the history of mathematics, we can know and understand the nature and essence of mathematics. Apart from that, we can also find out the cause of a proposition or the benefits of a concept in mathematics. Through the history of mathematics, we can see that mathematics has made quite a contribution to other fields of science. Abstract

Based on data from the World Health Organization (2017), the prevalence of depression in the elderly in the world ranges from 10-15% of the elderly population, while the prevalence of depression in Indonesia is 11.6% of the elderly. In Gampong Keuramat, Kuta Alam District, Banda Aceh City, the elderly population is 1,041 people, but there are still many who do not know about the benefits of Group Activity Therapy (GAT) to reduce depression levels in the elderly. GAT is a series of activities that help facilitate the socialization skills of several elderly people with social relationship problems. This therapy is widely used to reduce anxiety or depression in the elderly. On this basis, the D3 Physiotherapy Study Program of the Vocational Faculty of the University of Muhammadiyah Aceh held a GAT activity in Gampong Keuramat, Kuta Alam District, Banda Aceh City. This activity is one of Community Service which is part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The purpose of holding this activity is as follows: 1) To help the elderly in socializing and reduce the level of depression in the elderly; 2) To increase the sense of community in the elderly; 3) To improve physical and spiritual health in the elderly. It is hoped that this activity will not only be carried out in Keuramat Village, but will be carried out in all villages in Banda Aceh City, so that the creation of a healthy elderly, prosperous elderly, and happy society.Keywords: GAT, Depression, Healthy Elderly, Gampong Keuramat Banda Aceh City.
