Abstract

This article describes a historical discovery of the Bojongmenje Temple Site which should provide a forum for the formation of the character of the local community, considering that a history must have cultural values. The purpose of this article is to examine efforts to build character values around the Bojongmenje temple discovery site. These results indicate that the discovery of the Bojongmenje Temple site does not have a significant impact on the formation of the character values of the local community. The many efforts that have been made by the management have not been able to make everyone care about taking the side of the historical values of the Bojongmenje site. As values in society are starting to fade, it will be interesting to see if a discovery site can change its current character. Overall, this is an interesting point for further research by identifying the causes of deficient character formation.

Abstract

Standard-form contracts are contractual instruments widely used in relationships between business actors and consumers because they provide efficiency and legal certainty. However, the practice of standard-form contracts often raises issues of legal protection due to the imbalance of bargaining power between the parties. This article aims to systematically analyze the development of studies on consumer legal protection in standard-form contracts based on civil law research in Indonesia. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining national journal articles published during the period 2015–2024 and indexed in Google Scholar, Garuda, and SINTA databases. The literature selection process followed the PRISMA principles and was analyzed using a thematic approach. The findings indicate that research on consumer legal protection in standard-form contracts has increased, yet remains dominated by normative juridical approaches. The most frequently discussed themes include the imbalance of bargaining power, standard clauses that disadvantage consumers, and the limitation of the principle of freedom of contract. Meanwhile, empirical studies and discussions concerning standard-form contracts in digital transactions remain relatively limited. This study concludes that consumer legal protection in standard-form contracts constitutes a structural issue in civil law, requiring the strengthening of empirical approaches and the adaptation of legal frameworks to the dynamics of modern transactions.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKPD) for writing lecture texts based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in Indonesian language learning for eleventh grade. The background of this research is the low level of lecture writing skills among students and the limited availability of teaching materials that support active learning. The development was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method, which included needs analysis, product design, development, expert validation, and limited trials. Subjects in this study included material experts, language experts, media experts, Indonesian language teachers, and eleventh grade students. Data collection was conducted using a validation questionnaire, a practicality questionnaire, and a learning outcome test. The findings indicate that the resulting LKPD has a very high feasibility level, with a percentage of 96.66%. The effectiveness test results showed an N-Gain value of 0.71 in the experimental class (high category), while the control class had a score of 0.25 (low category). Furthermore, the practicality level was very high, indicated by a percentage of 98% of teachers and 84.6% of students. Based on these results, the Project-Based Learning (LKPD) worksheet is deemed feasible, effective, and practical for use in Indonesian language learning for 11th grade.

Abstract

This study is entitled “The Development of Kinemaster Animated Video Learning Media to Improve Narrative Writing Skills of Seventh Grade Students at MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Mamiyai Medan.” The background of this study is based on students’ low writing ability, which is caused by a lack of reading habits and the limited use of learning media that are appropriate to students’ characteristics. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate). The research subjects consisted of subject matter experts, language experts, media experts, teachers, and seventh grade students who were divided into two classes, namely the experimental and control classes, with 24 and 22 students respectively. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and writing tests. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the Kinemaster learning media is highly valid, with an average validation score of 95%; (2) the effectiveness test using N-Gain shows that the experimental class obtained an average score of 69.08% in the high category, while the control class obtained an average score of 48.7% in the low category, indicating a significant difference between the two classes; (3) the practicality questionnaire results show that the Kinemaster media achieved a practicality percentage of 98% from teachers and 92% from students, both categorized as very practical. Therefore, the Kinemaster learning media is declared valid, practical, and sufficiently effective in improving students’ narrative writing skills.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the potential of biography as a learning resource in multicultural education for strengthening students’ inclusive character. Using a literature review supported by bibliometric mapping with VOSviewer, the study analyzed publication metadata obtained through Publish or Perish from Google Scholar within the 2016–2026 period. The review focused on the relationship between biography, education, literature, teaching, schools, students, and the Indonesian context. The findings show that education is the most central concept in the mapped literature, while biography appears as a relevant but still underdeveloped theme. Biography can function as a narrative-based pedagogical medium that introduces students to lived experiences, cultural diversity, moral struggle, empathy, tolerance, and social responsibility. The study concludes that biography-based learning has strong relevance for multicultural education, particularly in plural societies such as Indonesia, but further empirical research is needed to test its classroom implementation and impact on students’ inclusive attitudes and character development directly.

Abstract

The way elementary school students access, understand, and create literary texts is transformed by digitalization. However, the use of technology in literature learning often stops at the transfer of printed books to screens without adequate pedagogical design. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the importance of digitization in literature learning in elementary schools, the various types of media that can be used, the advantages and disadvantages of its utilization, and the methods that can be applied to achieve it. This research conducted a literature review using a qualitative descriptive method. The selected coverage comes from books, articles, and reports from international institutions that discuss children's literature, digital stories, multimedia learning, digital literacy, and reading on screens. The data analysis process includes reduction, theme grouping, result comparison, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that when multimedia elements align with learning objectives, such as digital stories, e-books, digital comics, animated videos, story production projects, and engagement, vocabulary, story comprehension, writing skills, and digital literacy, students can be improved. However, irrelevant interactions, screen use without guidance, inappropriate device usage, excessive animations, and the lack of digital skills among teachers can reduce student comprehension and increase the learning gap. Therefore, digitalization should be seen as an enhancement and not a replacement for reading, discussion, appreciation, and value reflection activities. Content quality, teacher readiness, equitable access, child data protection, and literacy-focused learning evaluation are all factors that determine the success of implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the strategies used by Social Studies (IPS) teachers in integrating humanistic values to foster students' philanthropy and social concern. The challenges of modernity and individualism in the digital era demand a repositioning of Social Studies learning, shifting it from merely a transfer of knowledge to a transfer of value. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with Social Studies teachers, observation of learning activities, and documentation of school social programs. Data analysis applied the Miles and Huberman model, which encompasses data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that effective Social Studies teacher strategies include: (1) infusing humanistic values into contextual teaching materials, (2) implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model related to real social issues, and (3) habituating philanthropic actions through school social programs. Through these integrated strategies, students not only understand spatial and social concepts cognitively but also internalize them in the form of sharing awareness (philanthropy) and sensitivity to the suffering of others in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the fuctions of humanism philosophy in mobile learning (m-learning) in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach through library research, this study analyzed the literature related to humanistic philosophy, educational technology, national regulations, and empirical studies on m-learning. The findings included (1) the shift in the teacher’s role toward a digital facilitator, (2) students’ self-actualization and learning autonomy in m-learning, (3) the integration of human values in the digital era and the challenges of social interaction, and (4) the alignment between educational regulations and philosophical foundations. Mobile learning has proven to support flexibility and independent learning; however, its predominantly technocentric use potentially weakens human values such as empathy, dialogue, and emotional closeness. Although national educational regulations through Merdeka Belajar policy are aligned with the humanistic approach, the implementation of m-learning requires more concrete pedagogical guidelines to ensure that technology truly humanizes learners. This study concluded that the integration of humanistic philosophy is essential in transforming m-learning from merely a medium for information delivery into a platform for self-development, character building, and the preservation of students’ dignity.
