Abstract

This study analyzes the dynamics of birth rates and the availability of maternal health services in Banten Province. Based on data from 2025 to 2026, Banten's total fertility rate was recorded at 1.96 births per woman, below the national average. However, there are 38,534 pregnant women and 14,114 postpartum women who require quality health services. The collaborative MOMENTUM program successfully reduced the maternal mortality rate by 55 percent, from 214.4 to 95.7 per 100,000 live births, and expanded services from 46 to 134 health facilities. The main challenges include the suboptimal implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal program, with only 258 out of 1,081 Nutrition Service Units actively serving pregnant women, as well as data collection constraints at the sub-district level. The integration of free services and strengthening of the referral system are future projections to achieve the stunting reduction target of 16.7 percent by 2029. This study recommends data synchronization and stronger cross-sectoral collaboration.

Abstract

This study analyzes the balance between birth and death rates and its impact on population stability in Cikuya Village, Solear District, Tangerang Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with secondary data from the village office and community health center, the study found a significant imbalance between an average birth rate of 310 babies per year and a death rate of only 115 people per year, resulting in a natural population surplus of 195 people annually. This imbalance is caused by the low age of first marriage for women at 17.8 years, family planning participation of only 41 percent, and the success of health programs that have reduced mortality rates. The impacts include conversion of rubber forest land, clean water crisis, school overcapacity, youth unemployment reaching 27 percent, and an increase in poverty from 12 percent to 22 percent. This study recommends strengthening family planning programs, socializing the ideal age for marriage, and developing agro-tourism as efforts to achieve population balance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the description of motivation, discipline, and work environment on employee performance, as well as the influence of motivation, discipline, and work environment on employee performance in OPD of Jambi Provincial Government. This type of research is quantitative with data sources used primary and secondary data. Sampling used purposive sampling with a total of 80 respondents. Data collection used a questionnaire and data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the description of motivation, discipline, work environment and employee performance in OPD of Jambi Provincial Government were each in the strongly agree category. This means that each variable in this study was in the very high or very good category. The results of the analysis showed that partially motivation, discipline and work environment influenced employee performance in OPD of Jambi Provincial Government with a significance value smaller than 0.05 (P <0.05). Furthermore, simultaneously motivation, discipline and work environment also influenced employee performance in OPD of Jambi Provincial Government with an influence of 63.9%. The conclusion is that there is an influence of motivation, discipline, and work environment on employee performance in OPD of Jambi Provincial Government.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) merupakan aspek penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman, sehat, dan produktif, khususnya pada sektor industri yang memiliki tingkat risiko kerja tinggi. Tingginya angka kecelakaan kerja menunjukkan bahwa kepatuhan terhadap prosedur K3 masih menjadi tantangan dalam implementasi keselamatan kerja di berbagai organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) melalui pendekatan tinjauan literatur. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode literature review terhadap 11 artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif melalui proses identifikasi, pengelompokan, perbandingan, dan sintesis hasil penelitian terdahulu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepatuhan K3 dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor organisasi dan perilaku kerja, seperti kepemimpinan transformasional, pengawasan, budaya keselamatan, pelatihan, lingkungan kerja, dan partisipasi pekerja. Kepemimpinan yang adaptif dan partisipatif terbukti mampu meningkatkan kesadaran dan komitmen pekerja terhadap keselamatan kerja, sementara pengawasan dan pelatihan berperan dalam memastikan implementasi prosedur keselamatan berjalan secara konsisten. Selain itu, budaya keselamatan yang kuat menjadi fondasi penting dalam membangun perilaku kerja aman dan meningkatkan efektivitas penerapan K3. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepatuhan K3 tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh aspek teknis keselamatan, tetapi juga oleh kualitas manajemen organisasi dan perilaku individu di lingkungan kerja. Oleh karena itu, organisasi perlu membangun sistem keselamatan kerja yang lebih komprehensif melalui penguatan budaya keselamatan, kepemimpinan, pengawasan, dan pelatihan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research examines the effect of implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) on company competitiveness. The results show that TQM has a significant and positive effect on increasing competitiveness and company performance. Key contributing factors include customer focus, continuous system improvement, education and training, and employee involvement and empowerment. TQM improves various aspects of competitiveness such as operational efficiency, innovation, customer satisfaction, productivity and product quality. Effective strategies to overcome TQM implementation challenges include top management commitment, development of a quality culture, gradual implementation, effective communication, use of quality tools, continuous evaluation, and encouraging innovation. The research also discusses the impact of TQM on supply chain management and the importance of data-based decision making. In conclusion, effective TQM implementation can significantly increase a company's competitiveness in an increasingly competitive global market.

Abstract

This study aims to conceptually analyze the influence of service quality, trust, and motivation on the congregation's decision to choose hajj and umrah services at El-Hakim Umrah Hajj Services. The background of the research is based on the increasing competition among service providers and the uncertainty that affects the congregation's trust. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach, where data were obtained from scientific journals, books, and relevant academic sources, then analyzed descriptively and comparatively. The results show that service quality, which includes the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, plays an important role in shaping the congregation's perception. Good service quality is proven to increase trust, which subsequently serves as a mediating variable in influencing the congregation's decision. Furthermore, religious motivation becomes the dominant factor driving the congregation to choose services while also strengthening the relationship between trust and decision. The integration of these three variables results in a conceptual model showing that the congregation's decision is an outcome of the interaction between external (service quality), relational (trust), and internal (motivation) factors. This study provides a theoretical contribution in the form of a conceptual model that integrates service quality, trust, and motivation in the context of religious-based services. Practically, the findings can serve as a reference for hajj and umrah service providers in designing more effective, transparent, and congregation-oriented service strategies.

Abstract

Waste management in Indonesia remains a multidimensional challenge, exacerbated by population growth, rapid urbanization, and increasing consumption patterns. This study aims to analyze the integration of digital technology in optimizing a circular economy-based waste management system, and to examine the effectiveness of the legal framework and environmental oversight in addressing pollution caused by inadequate waste management practices in Indonesia. A normative juridical method was employed, utilizing statutory and conceptual approaches alongside qualitative descriptive data analysis. The findings indicate that digital technologies including the Internet of Things (IoT), Android-based waste marketplace applications, and machine learning-driven data analytics, hold significant potential to accelerate the transition toward a circular economy, though their adoption remains constrained by the digital divide and infrastructural limitations. From a legal standpoint, Indonesia's regulatory framework under Law No. 18 of 2008 and Law No. 32 of 2009 is relatively comprehensive, yet its effectiveness is undermined by inconsistent implementation, weak inter-agency coordination, and insufficient law enforcement. This study recommends a multi-stakeholder integration model grounded in the Penta Helix framework, combining digital innovation, robust legal oversight, and environmental pollution mitigation as a cohesive strategy toward sustainable development in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the determinants of employee performance through a literature review approach by integrating competence, work engagement, organizational commitment, and self-efficacy. This research employs a qualitative method using a literature review of 13 relevant journal articles selected based on their relevance to the research variables. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis by comparing, classifying, and synthesizing findings from previous studies. The results indicate that competence, work engagement, organizational commitment, and self-efficacy are key factors influencing employee performance. Competence has a direct effect on performance and also contributes to the development of self-efficacy and work engagement. Work engagement consistently shows a positive impact on performance, while organizational commitment emerges as the most stable variable, acting both as a direct determinant and as a mediator. However, the influence of self-efficacy shows inconsistent results, as it may affect performance either directly or indirectly through mediating variables such as organizational commitment or organizational citizenship behavior. This study highlights the need for a more integrated model to better understand the complex relationships among these variables. The findings are expected to contribute theoretically to the development of employee performance models and provide practical implications for organizations in improving human resource performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Marketing 4.0 strategy at Global Islamic Boarding School (GIBS) through the Interactive Session Program (ISP), facilitated by the Parent Communication and Engagement Department. The research approach used descriptive qualitative methods with observation and survey techniques. The study subjects included 347 employees and 337 parents. Observations showed that 80% of parents were satisfied with the ISP program because it provided direct access to information about their children's progress at school and in the boarding school. The findings indicate that the Marketing 4.0 strategy at GIBS is not only digitally based through social media, but also relationally based through intensive communication between the school and parents. The ISP program has been proven to strengthen emotional bonds, increase parent satisfaction, and be an effective marketing strategy in building the institution's image.

Abstract

Free association among adolescents often leads to early pregnancy,which negatively impacts child lineage and the future of young generations. This Community Service (PKM) was conducted at SMKN 7 Kota Serang, involving 34 students as the main participants. The activities aim to stop free association, prevent teenage pregnancy, understand the importance of child lineage from legal and religious perspectives, and build a bright future through preventive education. The methods used include interactive counseling, group discussions, and legal case simulations in civil and criminal law related to early marriage and child recognition. The results show a 75% increase in participants’ understanding post-intervention, marked by personal commitments to avoid risky behaviors and long-term career planning. This PKM contributes to forming a generation of teenagers who are legally aware, responsible, and future-oriented.
